THINGS ARE DIFFERENT.
Tumblr media
SUMMARY — this year brought a world of horrors for you. a car accident just weeks before your first day of sophomore year leaves you with no memory of the last year of your life. six months later, things have settled for you; you've got perfect grades, you're a cheerleader and your boyfriend is the quarterback. life is great, perfect even, until a certain raven-haired boy comes crashing into your life, causing chaos and triggering some of your memories to come back.
PAIRING — sweet pea x fem!andrews!reader | reggie mantle x fem!andrews! reader
WORD COUNT — 9.6k
WARNINGS — shitty friends, mentions of a car accident, cheating (caught in the act), lying, angst, fighting, swearing, i think that's it???? (let me know if i missed anything!!!!)
A/N — the plot of riverdale is kind of muddled in this fic; hiram logde's plans are apart of it somewhat, but jason is still alive. no mention of "yn" everyone mostly refers to her as andrews, reg refers to reader as "sunshine" a few times, and fred refers to her as kiddo, also the absolute SHITSHOW i went through to post this, oh my god, tumblr formatting is FUCKED (i usually write everything in my notes app or on wattpad bc i have lost so many partially done fics to shitty service). like i get WHY, but AHHHHHHHH (that's me screaming at the top of my lungs,,, 24 hour loop edition), not proof read
MASTERLIST | RIVERDALE
Tumblr media
YOU.
"ronnie needs our support on this," your twin brother archie explains, he's leaning against the door frame of your bedroom.
your back is to him, and you're trying to get ready to head out for school. your homework, laptop and other things sit spewed around your room. utter chaos from your midnight homework session. you straighten yourself, finally meeting his eyes.
"yeah, and? veronica is your girlfriend, not mine archie." you reply, leaning down to shove your laptop into your school bag.
"please?" he pleads, and you roll your eyes.
veronica lodge's dad is no good for riverdale, you can feel it. every move he makes seems to rattle one of archie's friends, or cause a disturbance within the town. since hiram rolled in it seems like one half of riverdale is always up in arms. first jughead when the serpents trashed the drive-in, and the northsiders because of the southsiders joining the now only school in riverdale.
"arch, i don't have the same kind of love from my friends you do. i step on their toes over this, i'm going to be an outcast." you reply, zipping up your bag.
"you can always hang with us," archie sighs, crossing his arms over his chest. "i know that betty misses you a lot, same with jughead."
"then why haven't they reached out?" you snap, sick of the conversation at hand.
archie always gets your hopes up, then plans fall through or they "unintentionally" leave you out. so, you're done. they know that you don't remember anything from the last year; the good, the bad or the petty. you're done trying to change things when with every effort you're shot down. you want normalcy. you want your friends back, but if they're not going to tell you what's going on, or make an effort, then why should you?
"just think about it, okay?" archie says, and you shake my head.
you throw my bag over your shoulder and push past him. you pause in the hallway, guilt creeping up on you, but ultimately decide not to worry about it. archie's been babying you, coddling you even since the accident. which to an extent you can understand it; you could have died. at the same time you feel like you never have a moment to yourself. archie's always lurking. you jog down the stairs, patting vegas as you slip out the front door onto the footpath.
the weather is hazy, it's damp out, fog lining the streets obscuring vision twenty feet head. you thank the powers that be for you remember a jacket. you pull your hood up as you walk towards the sidewalk, but you catch sight of your boyfriend's car parked on the street.
"morning princess," reggie calls through the open passenger window.
"morning reg," you reply pulling the door open and sliding into the passenger seat.
"did you hear about southside high closing?" he prompts after you give him a quick peck on the lips. "means all the trash is going to be clogging the halls of riverdale high,"
"yeah, arch filled me in this morning. you'd think after all the drama surrounding archie and the serpents he'd be less than excited about them transferring in." you sigh, tossing your bag into the backseat.
"he's on their side?" reggie asks, mouth twisting in disgust.
"guess so," you shrug, pulling on your seatbelt as reggie pulls away from the curb.
"but you're not?"
"i'm indifferent," you reply. "i don't care one way or the other,"
"cheryl's going to hate it," he says, and you shrug again.
the drive is relatively short, and silent. when you and reggie aren't making out, it's usually pretty quiet. you're together on the principle of "it makes sense". that's quite literally how he phrased it when he asked you out. and to an extent he's right. it makes sense for a football player to be dating a cheerleader. it makes sense. that being said, your relationship is entirely physical and for show. you're more along the lines of friends with benefits than an actual relationship. he only calls you when there's a party, or he's horny. romantic, you know. reggie grabs your backpack, and you climb out of the car.
"morning!" betty shouts, climbing out of her mom's car.
"hey," you reply, watching as she b-lines towards you.
"you friends with cooper again?" reggie whispers, leaning against the passenger side door.
"no, her friends want my support about the southside," you whisper back, plastering on a fake smile.
"good morning," mrs. cooper says as she drives past.
"good morning mrs. cooper!" you reply cheerily, she smiles and waves before turning out onto the street.
"hey, can we talk for a minute?" betty asks, stopping a few feet away.
she looks like she always does. blonde hair pulled up in a tight ponytail, makeup pretty minimal and natural, and her signature grey crown sweatshirt.
"sure," you say, and reggie leans down to plant a kiss on your lips, as you grab your backpack from him. "see you in homeroom."
he just smirks at you, as you turn away. you feel his eyes on your back until the two of you slip inside of the school. you feel slightly more at ease without reggie by your side. you follow betty to the room dedicated to the blue and gold (your school newspaper). betty drops into her seat at her desk, and you drop your bag on the table and plop down in the chair on the otherside of her desk. you sit, crossing your arms over your chest.
"whats do you want?" you ask, your question coming out ruder than you'd intended.
"i uh, i wanted to touch base." she says, averting eye conact.
"touch base? we haven't spoken since before my accident, betty. what do you really want?" you snap, becoming both annoyed and upset that she didn't actually mean it.
you could have played dumb, you could have gossiped, you could have gave her a life update. but you spend so much time being fake with your 'friends' that you can't handle any more superficial small talk that neither of you will remember. she looks taken a back by your brashness, and you feel a twinge of guilt. just a twinge.
"i—" she starts, but you cut her off as you forcfully shove your chair back, causing an awful screeching sound as it drags across the tile floor.
"look, cooper, if you need something, be straight with me and don't get my hopes up to use me for information." you grab your backpack and trudge into the hallway crashing straight into someone sending you flying back.
you grunt, bracing for the impact but instead you feel two hands on my arms steadying me. you peak your eyes open, and see a tall guy with dark hair and a leather jacket.
"oh shit, i'm sorry," you mutter slipping past him as you rush up the stairs.
you feel the hair on the back of your neck stand up, like someone's watching you. you turn your head as you head up, and see the guy who caught you staring in your direction. he looks pissed, and you wonder for a brief moment if that anger is directed at you. you feel someone poke you in the shoulder and you turn your head to look at them. you jump in shock at how close she is.
"you good?" cheryl asks, the usual distaste in her voice, one eyebrow raised in question.
"yeah, fine," you reply walking in step with her, glancing down the stairs, to see a brown and pink haired girl pulling him away.
"—and i don't know why she wants this so bad—" cheryl's voice drifts off into backgroung noise, something that tends to happen more and more frequently.
that guy looked weirdly familiar. you swear you've seen his face before but you can't seem to place it. which is also happening more, and more frequently to you. you know it's going to bug the hell out of you.
"—and i said—" cheryl continues, as you head towards english.
"andrews!" you feel two arms wrap around your middle, and you're yanked backwards and lifted up.
"ahhhhhh!" you shout, startled by the sudden movement and contact, your kneejerk reaction is to raise your elbow and throw it into the first piece of flesh you connect with.
"andr- shit!" a familiar voice yells, as you free fall to the ground, landing on your ass hard. "what the hell, dude!?"
you lift my head and see cheryl's twin brother jason leaning over, clutching his stomach in pain. you clap your hand over your mouth in a mix of embarrassment. he glances down at you, rubbing the tender area, mouthing 'what the fuck' over and over.
"shit! jason, i'm so sorry—" you say, quickly standing up, he waves you away so he can take a second.
"what has you so jumpy this morning?" cheryl asks, crossing her arms and raising both her eye brows at me.
"no clue," you reply truthfully.
"too much caffeine likely," jason says, standing up right and throwing his arms cross both mine and cheryl's shoulders to guide us to class.
"how many cups a day are you drinking?"
"two," you reply, no hesitation.
you haven't been sleeping much lately, or at all really. you weren't sure what was worse; the lack of sleep, or the fact that when you do manage to fall alseep all you seem to dream of is the four agonizing hours you were trapped in your car after the accident.
"four with extra espresso." jason chirps, and you mock elbow him and he flinches, dropping his arm from your shoulder to shield himself. "not cool dude,"
"aw, prwincess," you mutter tapping his cheek with your hand.
you duck under his arms at a weak attempt to catch you, and slide into class dropping into your usual seat beside ethel muggs. mrs. leroy has all the desks grouped in twos. she likes to assign a lot of partner assignments and classwork, so you ended up with desk pairs.
"good morning," ethel says brightly, and you smile at her.
"good morning ethel, how was your weekend?"
"it was good, how was yours?"
"it was okay," you reply and shrug as mrs. leroy, our english teacher waddles into the room.
she drops her bag beside her desk and takes off her jacket, hanging it on the back of her chair before standing at the front of the room and clearing her throat.
"alright guys, we have a bunch of new students joining us. i'm sure you heard about the students from southside high tranfering in, and we're going to be very welcoming. as such, i've decided to change up your desk partners to kick off our next project." she says, and everyone groans. "hey! who knows, maybe you'll meet your new best friend!"
you drop your head down on the desk as she continues to speak.
"i call your pairs and you'll move to the assigned set of desk pairs, every up."
everyone obeys, clearing to the back, front and sides of the room as she spends the next fifteen minutes reseating you.
"mr. blossom and ms. topaz, these desks please." jason nudges your foot as he passes.
"she's pretty," he mouths and you roll your eyes, a shit eating grin on his face.
"mr. sweet pea, and ms. andrews."
"sweet pea, what kind of name is that?" cheryl snickers, rolling her eyes.
you step forward, dropping into the closest desk to you, ducking your head to look into your backpack for my notebook and pencil. you drop them onto the desk, and look ahead to the board.
"uh, excuse me—?" you turn my head, and see the guy who caught me in the hallway.
"yeah?"
he's cute. messy—but like the intentional kind of messy—dark hair, with curls over his forehead, and dark eyes. there's a hint of ink poking out over the collar of his leather jacket, you catch sight of a snake's head.
"can i— uh— can i borrow a pencil or pen?" he asks, and you nod, turning to dig into you backpack for one.
you feel his eyes on you, watching your every move as you dig. you pull out the first pen you find and hand it over. he reaches out, grabbing hold of it, and your fingers briefly touch. a shiver immediately shoots down my spine, and you drop your hand. you get a flash of a memory, it's difficult to piece together what you're remembering. you see a flash of a half empty vodka bottle, a leather jacket, and a tattoo gun. you gather your things, and jump out of your seat rushing to the bathroom, you hastily shove your notebook away and drop your bag upon entering the bathroom. you drop to your knees in front of the first toilet you find, and empty the contents of your stomach. you wipe your mouth with the back of your hand and lean back against the stall dividers, trying to catch your breath.
it was like for a brief moment you was there. you could hear the tattoo gun buzzing, you could feel the scratch against your skin and you could taste the vodka. you stand up, and walk over to the mirror. maybe you're losing your mind. you would notice a tattoo, wouldn't you? if you didn't know to look for one, maybe you wouldn't... you lift your hoodie a little, and catch sight of one of the snake's heads poking out from under the underwire of your bra.
"holy shit," you breath, pulling your hoodie back down.
you lean down, and turn on the water slashing it onto your face. you stare hard at yourself in the mirror. how could you not see something like that? why didn't anyone tell you? you were told that you grew apart from your friends, but by the looks of things you had a whole other set that no one knew about, or at the very least didn't want you to go back to. the bell rings, signaling the end of first period, and you stand there staring at yourself in the mirror. the door opens slightly, and the brown and pick haired girl sticks her head in and sees you.
"hey, are you okay?" she asks, opening the door fully to come in.
"uh, yeah, i think so." you reply, and she nods, not pushing the topic any further, which you appreciate.
checking in on you is a small act of kindness that not even my so-called 'best friend' cheryl could give. you feel your phone vibrate in your pocket, and pull it out, turning away from the sink to lean on it. think of the devil, a text from cheryl.
Tumblr media
you don't reply, you just sigh, and shove your phone back into your pocket. you look up and catch the girl's reflection staring at you.
"uh, sorry." she says and you shake your head, mustering a small smile.
"it's okay, i'm—," you say, sticking out your hand to her.
"actually, we've met bef—" she cuts you off, but is cut off by the bell ringing.
then there's a loud bang on the door, and it opens slightly.
"topaz! we need to talk," it's sweet pea.
she throws you a sympathetic smile and heads out to the hallway. you there for another few minutes, fully aware of the fact that you're missing chemistry before you pull your phone back out, and call your dad. i can't handle this, i'm incredibly overwhelmed. all of this is too much. i know toni? i'm a southside serpent?
"hey kiddo, what's up?" he asks, answering on the first ring, it's his coffee break. "aren't you supposed to be in class?"
"i am," you reply, your voice shaking, immediately giving away how you're feeling. "i just— dad—"
"sweetheart?" he prompts.
fred andrews, a saint walking, ever understanding. you're incredibly blessed to have him for a dad. you force yourself to take a shaky breath, you're on the verge of tears and your eyes burn.
"can i have a day? i just— i'm so overwhelmed. can i go home?" you ask, the dam breaking, tears slipping down your cheeks.
"yeah, kiddo, i'll come get you and sign you out for the day, okay?" he says, and you whisper okay. "hang tight, i'll be there soon."
"thanks dad," you say, and hang up.
you stare at your reflection, your eyes are puffy and you look like hell. your hair is a mess, but you really don't have the energy to fix it. you grab a couple paper towels from the dispenser and wipe your face. you grab your backpack and head down to the office. you drop into one of the chairs across from mrs. bell's desk to wait.
"oh, hi," she says, exiting mr. weatherbee's office holding a folder. "how can i help you dear?"
"i'm not feeling well, my dad's coming to pick me up." you reply, forcing a small smile.
"oh i'm sorry to hear that dear, i hope you feel better," she gives you a sympathetic look as she plops down at her desk.
you're used to the look; the sad eyes with a small forced smile, you'd recived it a lot since the accident. there were no fatalities thankfully, but it drastically changed your life. at least you have to assume it did, you'd lost a year's worth of memories and it only took you a severe concussion and a couple weeks of physical therapy.
"good morning, dorris," comes your dad's voice, he steps into the office and mrs. bell smiles at him.
"well hello, fred." she says, a faint smile on her lips.
everyone on this side of town loves your dad. fred andrews is the kind of guy who will drop everything if you're in a bind, whether you're a friend or not. he signs you out on the sign out clipboard and turns to you.
"ready to go?" he asks, and you nod, standing up.
he slings an arm around your shoulders, and you wrap an arm around his middle as you walk. he doesn't ask you any questions, but you're sure when you get home he's going to have some.
SWEETPEA.
"she acts like she's never met us before," fangs says, sitting down beside sweet pea on the steps leading up to the bleachers.
they need privacy to talk about what's happening, this was the closest thing sweet pea could find. especially with all the gawking, stares and judgemental looks they'd been receiving since showing up to their new school this morning.
"i know, she didn't even say "hi" or anything. it's the least she could have done given everything," sweet pea grumbles, watching as toni walks towards them.
"she doesn't remember us," toni says, coming to a stop in front of them. "she literally doesn't remember us. like at all, she introduced herself to me in the bathroom,"
"what the hell?" fangs mutters, "maybe it's an elaborate plan to keep her summer in the snakes den a secret?"
"that is the dumbest thing i have ever heard," toni says crossing her arms over her chest. "you heard how she was talking before she ghosted us, she was over it all, the cliques, school, all of it."
"she said we were her family," sweet pea mumbles, "and then she disappeared. maybe it was all a lie,"
"jesus christ, or maybe, something bad happened to her, and she actually doesn't remember us." toni replies, the annoyance in her voice prominent. "and if she didn't remember us, then how would she know to contact us?"
"i sent her over a hundred texts since she disappeared, none of them have even been opened."
"case and point," toni says, rolling her eyes. "look, sit and stew in your misery, or confront her. i don't know about you guys, but i plan on getting my friend back."
with that toni turns on her heel, and heads back towards the school. fangs sighs, and stands up, brushing the dust off his ass as he turns to stand where toni had just been.
"maybe she's right," he says, looking down at sweet pea. "we know elly, she wouldn't just up and ghost us like this unless something happened. i want our friend back, and i'm with toni on trying by any means necessary to get her back,"
fangs studies sweet pea's face, looking for any indication that he's heard anything he said. after a moment, fangs sighs again, and turns to follow toni back into the school. sweet pea sits there on the bleachers, he watches as his friends grow smaller and smaller the further they get. he groans, and throws his head back. he's frustrated. he hasn't heard a damn thing from you in months, and then he sees you at his new school and suddenly his whole world collapses. he sighs, and pulls his cellphone out of the pocket of his leather jacket. he opens up his texts, and pulls up your messages.
Tumblr media
you never showed up, you never called, you just disappeared. well, apparently you hadn't, but for sweet pea you did. other than toni and fangs he had no other friends in common at the time. no way of getting a hold of you when his calls all suddenly hit you voicemail. now here you are, back in his life, but so far from his reach. he had hoped a million times over the last six months that he'd find out what happened, that he'd get some kind of explanation or closure. something. anything.
but when his eyes landed on you, it was like all the anger towards you, and the situation melted away. for a second, it was like you were never gone. then that daydream snapped, and you were rushing away. not an ounce of recognition in your eyes. it hurt. his phone vibrates in his hand, and it brings him back. back to the bleachers, back to the harsh reality that you might have no clue who he is, back to the anger that swirls in his head, back to how much he loves you, and how much his heart hurts because you might no remember any of it.
he looks down at the screen, leaning forward, his elbows resting on his knees as the bell rings again.
Tumblr media
YOU.
"alright, so, what's up?" he asks, as you drop onto the couch.
vegas jumps up beside you, and drops his head into your lap. you run your fingers through his soft fur and try to figure out a way to start this conversation.
"what was i like over the summer?" you ask, looking up at him.
he's standing by the front door, leaning against the archway leading into the living room. he's got his arms crossed and he's watching you silently.
"you were like you are now," he shrugs, "you didn't spend much time home, at first you were busy with cheryl and then you got a job."
"a job?" you ask, that's new information. "where?"
"the twilight drive-in," he replies, "you made some new friends with your co-workers, or so you said. you and archie were barely home over the summer,"
there's a few moments of silence as you digest this new information.
"dad?"
"yeah kiddo?"
"where was i going? why was i in that car?"
"truthfully, i don't know. archie said the two of you had gotten in a pretty heated fight, and you'd stormed out. a few hours later i got a call from sheriff keller,"
you nod, and sigh, leaning forward. you rest your elbows on your knees, and rub your eyes.
"i had a memory come back," you say after a minute, you don't look up at him. "it was weird though, it was really intense. it was like i was inside the memory."
"do you know what triggered it?"
"no," you lie, until you figure out what's going on with you, you plan to keep sweet pea and toni out of things. "it just hit me in the middle of english, and i had to get out of the room. i went to the bathroom and i puked."
"you puked?"
"yeah, nausea hit me seconds after the memory."
"well, at least you're making progress. the doctor said it could take a while,"
you nod, finally looking up at him. he checks his watch, and comes into the livingroom.
"you take it easy okay? don't strain yourself," he kisses your forehead and heads back to the front door. "i love you,"
"love you too dad," you murmur, watching him leave.
when you can no longer hear the rumble of his truck, you decide to head up to your room. until the accident you'd kept a near meticulous set of diaries, if you can find the one you was working on, maybe it can shed some light on what's going on.
it's weird, you're you, living in your body, but up until six months ago you were a completely different person. it's like living inside a stranger. you step into your room, it's a mess. clothes litter the floor, spilling from your closet, empty take away coffee cups, empty mugs from downstairs and energy drink cans litter the top of your dresser and desk. you go to the hall closet across from your room and grab a garbage bag and head back in. might as well clean up.
a few hours later you stand in the center of your now clean room. all your clean clothes have been re-folded or hung up, all the dirty clothes are in the wash and there's not a single thing out of place. except for—you squint, dropping to your knees in front of your bed, leaning down to pull two cardboard boxes from underneath. one is marked MY NOTEBOOKS, DON'T TOUCH (THAT MEANS YOU ARCH) in all caps—obviously your diaries, but the other has no label. you take off the lid and audibly gasp at the contents. sitting on top is a leather jacket with the southside serpents logo on the back, under the jacket is a dark green journal, a white handled switchblade, your old cellphone and a set of keys.
the screen on the phone is shattered, pretty near unusable by most people's standards. no one knew where your phone was after the crash. you'd just written it off as lost... finding it here, in this box changes things. you put it on the charger, and sit cross legged on the floor. maybe it'll be able to turn it on, if not you could to take it to a repair shop. you pick up the jacket, and check all the pockets. inside the left pocket is a half crumpled note, you pull it out and flatten it. it's definitely not your writing. it has one sentence, and it crushes you.
i love you too - sweet pea
you drop your hand holding the paper into your lap. that just makes everything even worse. does he know that you lost your memories? does he know about the accident? does toni? do they think you're pretending? were you on your way to see him when you crashed?
"fuck," you whisper, pulling your knees up to your chest.
you wanted the truth, and you got it, well part of it. how do you process all of this? how do you fix this? god, you just want to scream. throw things. have a little bit of a meltdown. it won't fix anything, but it might make you feel better. you rest your forehead on the edge of your bed and sit there on the floor, the jacket half hanging out of the box.
"hey?" comes archie's voice from the hallway, i jump at the sound. "hey- are you okay?"
you kick the box under your bed and glance up to see archie. he stops at the threshold, looking intently at you. you hear more sets of feet coming up the steps.
"i—"
you want to lie, you want to tell him you're fine. say everything's a-ok. but it's not. it's really not. and then betty, jughead and veronica come up behind archie and the damn breaks. you start violently, and uncontrollably sobbing into my arms. how did you wake up a year and a half older with such resentment for your three best friends? how did your life fall apart so quickly?
"hey, sh, sh, you're okay, everything's okay," archie says dropping to his knees to envelope you in a hug.
the other drop down on the floor with you. veronica and betty rub your back soothingly. you need to apologize, but you can't stop crying. maybe that's just as well, still a meltdown, just a different kind you suppose.
"i'm sorry!" you cry, frantically wiping your eyes with the sleeve of your sweater.
you dislike crying in front of people, and you know most people don't like having someone cry in front of them. you try and steady your breathing.
"hey, you don't have to apologize," veronica says. "we've all kind of been terrible friends since your accident,"
"that's why we're here," betty adds, patting your shoulder comfortingly.
"that's why they're here," jughead says, and betty swats at him and misses. "hey! let me finish woman! i was going to say, i've been a great friend. we had lots of fun working at the drive-in together,"
"jug..." betty says softly, using that same tone people often use when they're tip-toing around things that might hurt you. she shakes her head slightly, "she doesn't—"
"hey! don't talk about me like i'm not here!" you say loudly, all three of them turn to look at you. "i'm not fragile, you don't have to choose your words carefully around me, i have amnesia not brain damage."
"you're right," veronica says, staring each of them down until they nod. "we all need to stop treating you like glass,"
you quickly stand, your back to them for a minute. you take a deep breath, and turn around.
"arch, what were we fighting about when i left?" you ask, and he looks at you for a moment before swallowing, hard.
"you felt abandoned," he says, his eyes falling to the black rug they're sitting on. "you were upset because we were going on our annual nyc trip, but i'd also promised ronnie i'd help her with something in the morning, and i wanted to push the trip back by two, three hours. and you got really upset and exploded on me—it was entirely justified on your end—there was a lot of things you wanted to do together over the summer and i either canceled or forgot. i was a shitty brother."
"no, arch, you weren't. i'm sure i was just being drama—" you start, but archie raises his hand and you stop.
"no, i was being selfish. i made you a promise, and i broke it. i'm sorry," archie says, standing up and pulling you into a tight hug. "i'm sorry, i really am."
"and we're sorry," jughead says, as archie lets you go. "we thought that giving you some space would be a good thing, but we all got a little caught up in our own shit."
"i understand that, however, i've been alone pretty much for six months." you reply, crossing your arms over your chest.
"you've had cheryl, and jason, and reggie—you seemed like you were pretty happy..." betty says, and you shrug, looking away from her.
"cheryl is nice— but all we talk about is her. jason's fun to hang with but we have nothing in common other than reggie and cheryl. and reggie.." you sigh, staring out your window over their heads. "reggie made sense."
"he made sense?" veronica asks, eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"picking reggie made sense, and don't get me wrong i do like reggie, he's a great guy—a good listener, great at solving problems, fun to hang out with and all—but there's no connection." you sigh, you briefly contemplate telling them about the jacket, about your supposed summer with the serpents, but decide against it for now.
"are you going to break up with him?" archie asks, and you shrug in reply.
"i probably should," you sigh again, why does all of this have to be so damn hard? "did he ask about me when i disappeared this morning?"
"yeah, i told him you weren't feeling well. dad text me about you being home," archie says, and you nod.
"well, i say we grab dinner at pops tonight like old times," veronica says when the silence goes on a beat too long.
"honestly, i would love that, but i have to tie up some lose ends first. i'll meet you guys there at," you pause, walking over to your old phone, tapping the screen, relief shoots through you when it lights up, "say, 6?"
"sounds good," betty says, and they all stand up.
you unplug your phone, pocketing it as jughead, archie and veronica file out, heading back downstairs, but betty lingers.
"you okay, cooper?" you ask, teasingly.
she turns towards you sharply, hands clasped behind her back, "this morning, i— i really was trying to touch base with you. i know that the whole southside thing kind of has half the school losing it, but you told archie no, and i wasn't going to push it. he mentioned that you were upset about the group not reconnecting with you after everything, and i just wanted to see how you were— are."
"i owe you an apology for how i acted, i was frustrated with arch, not that that's an excuse, but i just kind of snapped. i'm really sorry, i shouldn't have taken that out on you betty,"
"your anger is justified, we should have been by you every step of the way—"
"you were busy, things happen. i missed you guys, sure, but this entire thing has been insane. i woke up six months ago with no memories from the last year. and to be fair, it's not like i made much of an effort with you guys."
"well, we're all okay now. and, you could never truly get rid of us,"
you let out a short laugh, throwing your arm over her shoulder, leading her out into the hallway.
"and you couldn't get rid of me if you tried," you say, and betty grins at you, her arm circling your back as you descend the stairs.
you're standing outside the mantle's house, trying to decide if now is really the best time to be doing this, but your rationality wins out and you move towards the door before you lose your nerve. you raise your hand to knock, but the door flies open and you're met face to face with mrs. mantle.
"hi dear, are you okay?" she asks, a warm smile on her face.
"yes. ma'am, i just..." you were not prepared for his mom to open the door.
that was actually the worse possible thing that could have happened. mrs. mantle has always been such a kind, and wonderful person towards you. you almost wonder if she's the reason you'd let things between you and reggie continue as long as they have.
"sorry, is reggie home?" you ask, and she nods, stepping out of the way to let you in.
"he's upstairs doing homework, are you staying for supper?"
the longer you speak to her the more you're dreading following through with this. she's such a nice lady, and you're not entirely sure how reggie's going to handle this. you really don't want to lose her.
you force yourself to shake your head, "no ma'am, i just have to talk to reggie and then i have dinner plans with my brother,"
she nods again, and you slip your shoes off, and head upstairs.
you've been here so many times that you don't even have to think about where you're going. as such, this leaves time for you to panic and try to talk yourself out of it. you're not sure why. reggie had been a crush of yours for a long time, from middle school to freshman year at least. when you woke up without your memories from the last year, you'd still felt that way about him. you'd been excited when he initially asked you out. mind you that excitement fizzled rather quickly, realizing what the arrangement meant for your relationship.
you were disappointed, sure, but you weren't blindsided by any means. reggie had always given you the kind of vibe that he wasn't interested in settling down just yet. so, when you push his partially closed door open and find him with his tongue down the throat of a different cheerleader, you're not entirely shocked. the girl notices you first, she's younger than you and reggie by at least a year, and she squeals, pulling away from him. he doesn't notice you at first, his eyebrows pulling together in confusion before he follows her eyeline. they both look like deer, and you're the headlights.
"uh, h-hey..." reggie musters, sitting down beside the girl, "i think you should probably go,"
"y-yeah, g-go...." she says, jumping up and flying out of the room.
you stare at him, unsure of how to continue. sure, he'd made this infinitely easier on you, but at the same time you still find yourself hurting a bit.
"i'm sorry," he says, dropping his head into his hands.
"despite our "arrangement", reg," you use air quotes, "i thought you respected me more than this,"
"i do!" his voice comes out loud, then softer, "i do."
the silence that follows is deafening, and feels like it stretches for hours. he doesn't look at you the whole time, his eyes trained on the ground.
"well, you've made this decision a whole lot easier for me. i'm breaking up with you, reg." you sigh, "i don't hate you; i'm not mad at you; i am a bit disappointed, but i think we were kind of doomed from the start. maybe in a couple months we can try to be friends, just friends. if you're down with that..."
he raises his head, guilt written clear across his features, but he nods, "i'm sorry, sunshine. i really, really am."
"i know reg," you say, leaning down to give his hand a squeeze. "so am i,"
you turn to leave, hesitanting in the doorway.
"reg?"
"yeah?"
you turn to look at him, "see you around,"
4:50pm. you have about an hour and ten minutes before you have to meet archie and the others. you plop down on your bed, and flip your diary open. there are only eight entries.
entry 1: may 16th
i can't do this anymore. faking everything. it's driving me fucking insane. betty, ronnie, and archie are always flaking on me. internship this. summer job that. charity this. sorry i forgot that. jug is the only one who hasn't consistently left me hanging, and we're not even all that close. that being said, out of all of them, i'm starting to change my tune on that. he's even offered to talk to his manager about possibly getting me a summer job at the twilight. which would be killer, i'm there for most of the showings anyway. at least i'll get paid for doing something i already enjoy. then at least i'll have something going on. i'm honestly not ok with them constantly rescheduling things but for whatever reason i just sit there and take it. i need to start putting myself first, and find some friends that put in just as much effort as i do. i wonder if the three of them will even notice if i stop putting in the effort.
entry 2: may 19th
guess who has a new job!!! me!!!!!!!! i'm so excited, i don't think i've been this happy about something in a long time. i start tomorrow night, and jug's already introduced me to some of his coworkers. i'll be working in concession. we're even allowed to sit outside and watch the movie when we're between customers. i'm so looking forward to having this. betty, ronnie and i were supposed to go shopping today but they both just texted to cancel. go figure.
entry 3: may 20th
first day was a success! my new coworkers are so nice, i even made quick friends with a girl named toni. she's got pink highlights in her hair which really suit her. i also overheard that she's a southside serpent. mind you she doesn't really seem like the kind of people i’ve been told are in that motorcycle gang. then again, you're not supposed to believe everything you hear.
okay!! it's later now, and toni asked me if i wanted to hang out with her and her friends at the quarry tomorrow!! that's the first time in a really long time someone’s asked me to do something with them! i, of course said yes! i’m so excited!!
just got back from the quarry, i had so much fun. more fun than i’ve had all year! toni is so much fun to be around, she has the best energy, and it's just so refreshing to be around someone who actually wants to do things and live in the moment. the last time i hung out with ronnie and betty they were both glued to their cellphones, undoubtedly texting jug and archie. i also met her two best friends sweet pea and fangs, who are also super cool. they were really nice, and welcoming. i was pretty nervous, because i’d seen the two of them at the drive-in with fp a bunch of times, so i knew they were serpents, but they were both so nice! i’m really starting to wonder if the serpents are as “bad” and as much of a problem as other northsiders insist they are.
entry 4: june 21st
oh god, it’s been a month since my last entry. i have so much to write about… i honestly don't know where to start. i’ve been hanging out with toni, sweet pea and fangs pretty consistently since that day they invited me to the quarry. i’ve stopped chasing archie and his friends to hang out, and i was right in my guess that they wouldn't notice if i stopped trying. i haven't received a single text from any of them. i mean, i have from archie, but he’s my brother so that doesn't really count in my opinion. and i guess jug too, but we're coworkers and he was the only non-flake before anyway. either way, it’s been so nice having toni, fangs and sweet pea reaching out to make plans with me and when i reach out to them they actually follow through. we all have a lot in common; we enjoy a lot of the same music and tv shows.
toni is a god with her camera, i don't think i’ve seen more beautiful photography, and she takes the BEST candids. she’s taken so many pictures of us, she’s going to get me some physical copies for my scrapbook.
fangs can get you ANYTHING. he’s such a smooth talker that people just end up giving him things. he even got us into a sold out _ show. i’m really not sure how he managed, but we got escorted by security to the barricade.
i was supposed to go with betty, archie and ronnie, but i decided to flake on them for a change. that did get me a few texts from each of them, and i didn't answer them. i just turned off my phone and enjoyed the show. it was amazing!!!!!! i had an absolute blast.
i’ve also been spending more time with sweet pea… alone… (obviously, with toni & fangs too) he’s nothing like i thought he’d be when we met. here i go again judging a book by its cover, shame on me. but he’s so sweet, it took a bit to get him to open up to me, toni says he’s just protective, which i both completely agree and understand. with friends as cool as those two, i don't blame him. he goes out of his way for everyone; holding the door for old ladies, standing in the middle of a busy street so kids can cross. he seems so scary and mean, but that's just his defence. we've been getting a really close, and every time he asks me to hangout i get butterflies.
we're hanging out tonight too, i’m going to pick him up in twenty minutes and we're going to the quarry. i’m sitting in a booth at pop’s waiting for our food. i really like him, and i enjoy spending time with him. toni said she’s never seen him so happy, and that she thinks he likes me. i really hope he does, because i like him. i might even tell him as much tonight… that might be a bit too much, actually. i don't know. oh, pop’s calling my order, i’ll update you later!
just got back from the quarry, and oh. my. god. sweet pea kissed me! i was all nervous, and i decided i was going to tell him how i felt and before i got the words out, he leaned over and just did it! i’ve had a few kisses before, some good, some not so much, but this one? it was the BEST i’ve ever had. that thing you read about in fanfics or novels about fireworks or butterflies, it's REAL. he asked me out on a date too, and i’m literally so excited. i called toni before i added this update and she squealed. she was right, he does like me. mine and sweet pea’s date is wednesday night, we're going to watch a movieat the drive-in and then in the morning we're all going camping at sweetwater river.
my phone is ringing… it’s archie? weird, he usually texts me. i’m going to answer him, i’ll be right back.
just got off the phone with arch. mom is coming down from chicago for the weekend, and we were supposed to go together to pick her up, now he’s backed out on me and i have to go alone. what could be more important than picking mom up from the airport?! especially considering we rarely see her. whatever, i guess it’ll give us time to talk.
entry 5: june 30th
just dropped mom back off at the airport. this visit was so fucked. i picked her up, we had a lovely conversation, and then she asked me where arch was and i had to lie to her. he said he was going to call her and let her know, but apparently he didn't. then, he didn’t show up for family dinner, which he was also supposed to help me cook (spoiler: he DIDN’T). when mom and dad asked where he was, i was like a dear caught in headlights. i have no fucking clue!! i called him, and BAM! voicemail. mom calls him and woah, he picks up first ring. he lies, and gets away with it. arch was gone all weekend which screwed up my itinerary. i mean, seeing mom was the highlight, obviously, but archie and i planned all this stuff and we didn't get to do any of it. not to mention, archie had promised he’s take mom to the airport because he was gone all weekend, and then he didn't show! again! i had plans with toni, and i had to apologize and cancel on her (which isn't fair to her or me (but fuck us i guess??)) anyway, i’m banking on archie cancelling our yearly trip to nyc with everything going on. i’d lay money on it now.
entry 6: july 1st
i’m so mad right now. archie saw me and sweet pea coming out of pop’s with lunch, and got in sweets face. he has NO RIGHT. especially considering how much he's left me hanging lately. i will admit, i did something i shouldn't have, but he said something he definitely shouldn't have (that i shant repeat here (just know it's vile)) and i then punched him. sweets then threw me over his shoulder and carried me to my car. i bruised the crap out of my hand, archie’s got a hard face i guess. toni and fangs tried to lighten the mood when we got back but i couldn't help myself. sweet pea and i ended up leaving early, and we just drove around for a while. when i finally did calm down, he thanked me for standing up for him. why wouldn't i?? archie has no right to treat any of my friends like that, let alone my maybe boyfriend (we haven't really labelled it yet). and archie’s one to talk about people’s “priorities” and who they “really” are, seeing as toni, sweet pea and fangs have done nothing but be great friends and have been there for me all summer and he (MY! TWIN! BROTHER!) couldn’t even see his mother while she was down from chicago. i haven't seen archie since our altercation at pop’s and i’m more than okay with that.
entry 7: august 15th
sweet pea and i got into a fight. it’s nothing major, and i know he’s just looking out for me, but somethings aren’t really any of his business. namely, things involving my family. i was telling him about mine and archie’s annual trip to nyc, and how this will be the first year that it’s just the two of us. mom and dad usually go with us, and it’s the highlight of our summer. i’ve been really looking forward to it, and that i’m hoping this will help mend the tear we’ve both been helping create in our relationship. i’m not going to entirely blame arch because i’ve definitely not helped… especially when i punched him in the face in july. he’s finally speaking to me again. it took a couple of weeks and awkwardly dodging each other but we’re at least talking again. which is progress i guess. we haven’t talked about it either. he just walked into my room last tuesday and started telling about this video he saw, and then everything was fine again. we’ve always been like that, but what archie said really isn’t ok, and what i did really isn’t ok either. i plan to bring it up on our trip. anyway, back to sweets, he’s worried i’m going to get super hyped up about this trip and then archie’s going to yank the carpet from under my feet (kind of like he’s been doing all summer, but i digress). we leave in two days, and so far everything seems to be going well. i should apologize to sweets before we leave though, cause i did kind of snap at him… adding that to the to-do list.
entry 8: august 17th
fuck archie. FUCK. HIM. sweets was right. FUCK EVERYTHING. GODDAMN NORTHSIDERS.
that was it, the last entry. you wrote that the night of your accident. that's why you were in your car. that's where you were headed. you close the diary, and smack it off your forehead. you close your eyes, and then let out a scream of frustration. you throw the book across your room, and pull your old phone from your pocket. you sift through your text threads, you'd sent more outgoing messages to betty, veronica and archie then they'd sent back to you for months before your accident. turns out they weren't  just shitty friends afterwards.
you pause for a moment, your finger hovering over fp jones' contact. why would you have jughead's dad's number? up until hiram started causing a stir in town, jughead hadn't even been living with his dad so you never would've needed to contact him. you click it and a bunch of text messages load in.
Tumblr media
things were falling into place for you. they were shitty friends before. you were going to need new ones regardless, that's how you ended up in friendship purgatory at riverdale high. cheryl just isn't your cup of tea, and you're still not sure how you feel about reggie after everything you witnessed this afternoon. one thing you do know; you owe some people an explanation. you close out of the messages, and go to your gallery. the first picture that you see is one of you, toni, sweet pea and fangs, your faces all pressed together cheek to cheek, smiling widely. you smile, and then suddenly it's like a damn breaks and a years worth of memories come flooding in. you drop the phone, and rush downstairs, grabbing your keys from the bowl by the front door.
"you guys are terrible fucking friends," you say, not really caring to control the level of your voice as you stomp towards your brother and his friends. "not you jug, you're fine, i'm talking about these three."
archie, veronica and betty share confused looks then look up at you. you tower over their table, anger coursing through you. you stare the three of them down quietly, eyes darting from one to the other, to the other.
"uh, didn't we already go over that?" veronica asks, her tone light and joking.
"not really," you say, "i got my memories back, and you guys were fucking terrible. what did i do to deserve being cancelled on, and forgotten about so easily by you three? especially you arch, you're my brother. my twin. you of everyone are supposed to have my back!"
betty and veronica's eyes drop to their laps, and archie freezes, his eyes wide.
"while i appreciate your apology from before archie, with all the facts, i don't accept. what you did was fucking shitty, and i never would have done that to you. never. as for you two, if you don't like me, or just don't like hanging out with me, or just don't want to be my friend, stop making plans with me. i'm done being treated like that, and if any of you want to make things right, actually make things right, you'll be able to find me with my real friends; toni, sweet pea and fangs. who, unlike you three, actually like spending time with me. and for the record, are really good people, and deserve to be treated with respect." you turn on your heels to leave, and then pause at the last booth, whipping back around, "also, fuck you guys."
you pray that you're right about this. you never hung out with them during school, so you weren't sure if they were going to be at the quarry tonight. the weather's still nice, so you're hoping that you're right. you turn onto the familiar dirt road, and catch sight of their bikes in the distance of your headlights. relief washes over you as you get closer, you see three figures walking towards you and you pull in beside the bikes, like you had so many times before. you turn the car off, and jump out.
"fucking hell, andrews! you scared the shit out of us!" you hear fangs yell, a bark of laughter leaving him.
"guys--" you say, walking closer to them, your heart beating hard against your ribs.
you almost wonder if it's going to beat right out of your chest, you're  so nervous, but you're so happy to see them. you missed them.
"told you she knew who we were." sweet pea sneers, cutting you off. "what schools out so you can be friends with us again?"
"what? no--" you start but he cuts you off again.
"where were you? why are you back now?" he bites out, and toni smacks him.
"shut up and let her talk." toni says, nodding at you. "go,"
"i got into a car accident on august 17th. i have no idea how, or what happened, but i was trapped in that car for four hours, and spent two days in a coma. then when i woke up, i couldn't remember anything that happened over the last year. i now remember everything, and am really, really sorry for unintentionally ghosting you guys for six months." you pause to take a breath, and gage their reactions, "i know how this all sounds, but i promise i'm telling the truth,"
toni smirks, stepping forward to throw her arms around you, "i'm glad you're back, i fucking missed you."
you hug her tightly, "i missed you guys way more,"
"i bet you did," she laughs, letting you go, and stepping back.
you hug her tightly, "i missed you guys way more,"
"i bet you did," she laughs, letting you go, and stepping back.
she turns to look at fangs, and sweet pea and holds her hand out, “c’mon boys, cough it up.”
begrudgingly, they both pull five dollars out of their pockets and drop it into her hand. fangs then moves past her, and scoops you into a bone crushing hug.
“missed you,” he whispers, then lets you go.
“missed you too,” you smile, and the pair of them slowly slink back to the fire they’d been sitting around, giving you and sweet pea space.
sweet pea stares at you, dark eyes unreadable, his posture tense. it takes you back to how he was when you met for the first time. closed off, on guard, and analytical. you want to reach out for him, wrap yourself around him and never let go. you’re not sure he’s ready for that, so you shove your hands deep into the pockets of your jacket. your fingers catching the slip of paper he’d given you months ago, curling around it, you put it out and his eyes close briefly.
“i understand if you need space,” you say carefully, unfolding the small scrap. “but if you ever actually meant this, you have to know that i never would have left you hanging like that intentionally.”
he takes the note from you, his eyes leaving yours to look at it. he stays quiet for what feels like an eternity.
“i know.” he finally speaks, eyes still on the note. “deep down, i knew you wouldn't have left. not when you socked your brother for me. i was just so mad… at myself for what i said to you last, at you, for not following through on your text… then seeing you at school– it didn't make sense. instead of really thinking about it, like toni did, i just–” his eyes meet yours again, “i don't know, i let my fears take hold, i guess.”
"i--"
"JUST KISS ALREADY; YOU LOVE HER, HE LOVES YOU, THE END-"
"FANGS, SHUT UP!" toni yells, the sound of her smacking him and him asking her to stop follows.
you and sweet pea share a glance, and then both break out in giggles. when the giggles subside, you step closer to him, your hand landing on his shoulder.
"i love you, sweets, and if you need time--"
"i've had enough time, what i need now, is you." he says before pulling you against him, and kissing you.
he pulls back briefly, letting you catch your breath, "i love you too,"

Pick and Choose - Blossoming Love
Riverdale
Warnings: cheating (I do not encourage this), CHONI, hints of depression, talks of past trauma.
Pairings: Cheryl Blossom x fem!reader
Word Count: 1566
AN: Well, I finished this way faster than I thought I would, so here we are. I hope this isn't as shit as I think it is. 😃
_____________
A month. A whole ass month's worth of all this chatting, dating, and being clingy. You were so tired. You wanted a break, at least for a few minutes. In complete honesty, it wasn't all bad. You appreciated the gifts, the words of affirmation, and the romantic dates. All you wished for was a little distance. Everything was getting so serious so fast, and the fact that Cheryl made you feel so good about yourself didn't sit right with you.
Vulnerability wasn't your strong suit. It made you feel small. It made you feel like you were weak. So, to have someone act so close to you, made you feel things you didn't want to feel. "My love, what is on your mind?"
You tore your eyes away from the invisible speck on the ground and focused on your lover. You shook your head, "Nothing."
"I fear I don't believe that. Something else on your mind must have stolen your attention away from my gorgeous frame."
You internally cringed, not knowing whether to make an excuse or tell her exactly what was on your mind. "I'm just thinking of... things."
"Anything I can assist you with?"
You wrapped your arm around yourself and rubbed it on the bicep it landed on. Cheryl eyed your hand and squinted at it. "Not really. They're pretty mundane things."
Cheryl let you slide and opened her phone as it pinged. She grinned but rolled her eyes at the message she received. It read, "Fine, you win." Cheryl intended to ignore the message entirely, but then she got curious about how things would turn out. So, Cheryl being Cheryl, she let herself fall into the moment. "Meet me on our spot at Pop's."
"Dear, Y/N, I apologize, but I must leave. Something very important has come up. But do expect that once I get back to you, I will have very exciting news." Cheryl gave you a smile before she stood up and left, seemingly in a hurry. You didn't even get a word in, not that you minded.
Finally, peace and quiet.
On second thought, your book gently fell back against the table as your mind wandered off somewhere no one would ever find. What could it have been? Cheryl would stay with you the whole day, and when she would tell you that she had to leave earlier, she'd let you give out a response before changing her mind and staying instead. You were so curious, it was, honestly, killing you.
It took every fiber in you to take your book seriously. It was a good book. You didn't want to miss out.
----
Toni sat there in all her glory waiting for Cheryl's striking entry, wearing her serpent jacket. She had made sure to dress up the way Cheryl wanted her to, knowing that if she did, their chances of getting back together would be higher. When the bell attached to the diner's door jingled, she turned her head to it, visibly lighting up as she spotted her favorite redhead strutting up to her.
"I knew you couldn't live without me, I am, simply, the best thing anyone could ever ask for. So, dear Tee-Tee, I hope you've prepared a speech to move me enough to take you back." Cheryl sat on the stool to Toni's right and faced her ex.
"Cheryl, I know we both can't live without each other. I can feel it. it's like we're bound together by some invisible string that makes us tied to each other. Cher, we complete each other, and this past month without you has been painful as hell." The way Toni spoke was gentle and soft. Cheryl loved this about her Toni. Her Tee-Tee could match the sensitivity of a situation with her words, and that made Cheryl feel safe. Toni handled her with so much care and patience, and she fell in love with that. She fell for Toni so hard and so fast.
Toni meant everything to Cheryl, and losing her might as well be the world's end. With Toni, it was all or nothing for Cheryl. It was either commit or don't commit. She wanted to commit. They both did, but for Cheryl, something came up. Sure, she still wanted Toni, but not as much as before. Now, she only wanted Toni at a certain level.
They love each other dearly. They cared for each other. But there was this large strain in their bond that made it seem like fixing things or talking it out would not suffice as a fix. They felt compelled to hear the three words they dedicated to each other again, but Cheryl had restraints now.
Then in the heat of the moment, Cheryl found herself leaning back against the counter while Toni pressed her body against her's for a big kiss. It was slow and passionate, something they'd been yearning to experience from each other again. Now that Cheryl had Toni again, everything else just didn't matter, or in Cheryl's mind, fuck it.
They found themselves in Cheryl's bedroom at the Thistle house, making out against her door like they would die if they stopped. It just felt so good. Their hips gyrated against each other, the moment proving to grow hotter by the second. As Cheryl's back hit the soft mattress of her bed all the while keeping her lips locked onto Toni's, it sealed their fate for the night.
When they awoke the next morning, they did their morning routine. They shower together while making no effort to keep their hands to themselves, cooking breakfast, and holding onto each other on their way to school. They were both still reeling off from their midnight escapades the previous night, so the world was pretty much blurred around them. Their focus remained on each other, not even bothering to hide their very couple-ly PDA.
You noticed, of course. I mean, they were everywhere and they were the talk of the school. Most students murmured about Choni being back together, while the smaller half muttered sick comments saying how Cheryl used you to get Toni back.
You weren't going to lie and say you weren't hurt. You were, but not as much as you should be. Were you hurt? It wasn't like you cared about Cheryl at all. It's not like you weren't just starting to get comfortable enough to open up to her. Funny enough, you were, actually, planning on telling Cheryl everything tonight. Oh, well. It didn't matter anymore. She finally had what she wanted.
You proceeded with your day like normal. I mean, nothing really changed, it wasn't a big loss. That's what you told yourself at least. As the day dragged on, you forced yourself together, squeezing your eyes shut for a few seconds before opening them again to relieve some of the drowsiness you felt. When all of your classes for the day finished, you headed to the library and sat down on the floor between two aisles of bookshelves, resting your head in the palm of your hands as you curled your knees up to your chest.
Life, for you now, is uneventful, other than the whole Cheryl thing. Your life before coming to the North side of Riverdale was hell, but it was perfect nonetheless. Your parents were there, your family, your grandmother, your home, your serpent family. It was all you knew, so when you had to move due to Hiram's work, it really crushed your soul. Then came the day of your family slowly being ripped away from you. It was like your heart was being gripped very tightly, thus causing you to feel as if it had stopped beating entirely. But it still was. It just took you a while to realize it.
After those traumatically tragic events, you opted to just go with the flow, sitting alone and keeping to yourself. You still hung out with the Serpents, of course, they are your only family left after all. But even if that is the case, you still felt like you were the only one who was left in the moment of grief. It looked, to you, like you were stuck in a ditch with no chance of getting out any time soon. It took something that shined as bright as the sun to find a way out, but even then, time was at a standstill for you.
Along with that came the emptiness you felt. It was like you had something to do, but you didn't know exactly what that thing was. You were in a very complicated ditch, and there wasn't anything to grab onto around you. But there was one, only it was all the way on the other side, and you didn't have enough energy to get up and get to it. You wanted help, yet you were too tired to seek it. For you, it was exhausting to even think about, getting up to help yourself and all that.
In this ditch, it was dark and cold. It felt like there was this big storm coming and it was nighttime, and there was no safe place around for you to nestle yourself in for, at least, the shortest amount of time. It was like, wandering around the desert, stressed, tired, and cold. It was pressuring. The world was pressuring. It motivated you yet diminished your confidence in conquering its trials. It tested your patience greatly.
And you aren't the most patient person to ever exist.

- Reader is best friends with Cheryl and Toni and wants to join the Pretty Poisons. They are having none if it .
' Come on pleeeaaaassseeeeee ' you begged as you followed Cheryl around her and Tonis room while she was getting ready.
'No' she said simply.
'Please !'
No! 'She said sternly
' Whyyyy' You asked pouting.
'Look y/n it's just too dangerous ok, your too innocent, you don't know how to fight and your too sweet.' She said with a smile as she did her mascara.
'What's she too innocent for? ' Toni asked as she walked in.
'You better not be on about a date' Toni said as she crossed her arms giving you a stern look and a small smile.
You cursed under your breath. You were trying to get Cheryl on your side first and then she could persuade Toni. Although you knew Cheryl first Toni was the most protective of you. She saw you as this small shy nerd that she needed to protect (which you kinda were). You and Cheryl came as a pair and she loved you both.
'Y/n here wants to join the Pretty Poisons ' Cheryl explained with a smirk knowing how this would go.
There was a moment silence and you could feel Tonis stare burning into the side of your head. You winced before looking up at her with an innocent smile.
'Soooo that's a yes? Great. ' You tried as you went to run out of the room before getting pulled back by Cheryl and Toni.
'What hey get back here shortie. ' Toni said gripping your arm.
'Do you realise how dangerous being in a gang is! There's no way we're letting you join.' Before you could defend yourself she cut you off.
' No listen . We love you OK your our best friend and if anything happend to you we wouldn't be able to live with ourselves. Cher's right your too innocent and your tiny you wouldn't be able to fight back if anyone tried anything.' She said scared at the thought of you getting hurt.
You let out a huff as you tore your arm away from Toni and looked down at the floor. Deep down you knew she was right.
'Come on Tiny we're sorry' Cheryl said as she tried to get you to look at them .
'You don't control me you know' you said under your breath .
'I know I'm a nerd but I'm not completely helpless' you said as you stormed out and left the house walking to school instead of getting a ride eith the two girls. Sick of their overprotectiveness. You knew they were only trying to help but you wanted to be able to stick up for yourself.
You heard the beep of a horn as you saw
Archie pull up next to you in his dad's truck.
'Hey, do you need lift?' He asked.
'Oh yes please' You said thankful as you climbed in.
'So how come you aren't getting a ride with Cheryl and Toni? ' he asked
'We had a fight' you sighed
'They wouldn't let me join the Pretty Poisons. So I stormed out like a child. ' You laughed putting you head in your hands.
'You wanted to join a gang ?' Archie gasped.
'Why is everyone so shocked, what am I a kid? ' You asked frustrated .
'Look Cheryl and Toni are just protective of you, they've always been like that and if you got hurt in Toni's gang she would blame herself . And Cheryl well she's lost everyone, her brother and her family, all she has left is you and Toni. You can't blame them for being for protective, your so sweet they just don't want you being taken advantage of. 'Archie explained.
As you two drove to school you realised your friend actually had a good point. You and Cheryl had been friends since you were little and you'd helped her get through Jason's death. And as for Toni you were the one that balied on Cheryl at the movies so they could have there first date.
As you and Archie pulled into the school carpark you saw your two best friends stood next to Cheryl's red convertible.
You thanked Archie and walked over to them wracked with guilt.
What if they hated you. All they'd ever done is made you feel loved and you'd thrown it back in their faces.
Deciding to give it some more time you turned around and began walking to class. Before you heard Cheryl's voice behind you.
'Y/N' She yelled .Not an angry yell though, to your surprise.
As you turned around you felt Cheryl body slam into you, her arms wrapping around you tightly. She pulled back and checked you over before slapping you round the back of the head. 'Do that to me again and I sware to god ill tickle you until you can't breathe' She said with a glare and slight smile .
'We figured we'd let you have some time to yourself but then when we drove round school and didn't see you walking we got worried' the redhead explained.
'I'm really sorry red' you said shyly, leaning you head on her shoudler as she pulled you in for another hug.
You noticed Toni hovering behind her with a dissapointed look on her face.
'TT I'm so sorry' You said nearly in tears. As you hid behind Cheryl before she pushed you forward.
You looked up t the pink haired girl.
'I'm so so so so sorry. Please dont be mad at me I didn't mean to hurt you feelings or make you worry. I just don't want to be the helpless neerd you guys always need to protect. I thought that I'd be less of a burden to you guys if I could protect myself' You explained.
'Wait, that's why you wanted to join the Pretty Poisons?' Toni asked giving you a stern look .
Cheryl giggled silently, knowing you'd got yourself in trouble.
Toni grabbed yours and Cheryl's hands and led you both behind a tree, out of the way of everyone else.
She let go of your hands and looked you in the eye her arms in an iron grip on your shoudler.
'Y/n L/n you are not a burden to me or to Cheryl and you never will be. We know we don't have to protect you but we want to. Your our best friend. You got us together, you got us through countless fights and you got us both through really hard times ok. Now it's our turn to look after you. We have realised that your right and we are being controlling so we will back up a bit. And by that i mean like a centimetre but still. Nothing is happening to you on our watch and we are making sure of that, whether you like it or not.' She explained. Looking at you with a smile.
'You got that nerd' She said with a playfully mean look on her face. Her arms crossed and she glared at the girl with a smile.
You giggled and nodded, blushing slightly as you realised how much they cared.
' Also me and TT were talking and we agreed to some compromises' Cheryl spoke up, Toni nodded along, looking unsure though.
'So you will not be involved in any gang activity or trained with any weapons because of how clumsy you are. ' Cheryl laughed as you pouted.
'But you are welcome to come to any archery training at Thistlehouse as well as the occasional meeting. And we will even give you your own jacket, as long as you agree not to where it outside the house.' Cheryl cut younoff before you could protest.
'Ah you either wear the Jacket in the house or not at all , we don't want you painting a target on you back.' She explained as Toni nodded along.
'OK yh that's fair enough' you agreed . As you bounced on you heels slightly, a huge smile breaking across you face . You jumped up to Cheryl and hugged her tightly pulling Toni in as well.

Hi, do you accept orders? If so I thought of something for sweet pea, where they have been dating hidden from everyone for a while then when the snakes are transferred to Riverdale High and Reggie and Cheryl make their entrance the reader appears and then Reggie says some shit to her and even before that Sweet pea reacts to the reader punches Reggie (you can elaborate more later, sorry for the long request)
Yes I Accept orders and requests!
Secrets Have To Come Out Eventually - Sweetpea x Reader
Tumblr media
Today had been a weird day at school considering everything that has been going on. The Southside has always been treated like crap longer than I was born. Even though I am a serpent I'm not ashamed of where I come from.
Hi I'm Y/n and I'm Toni Topaz's sister. It's been a lot for the both of us with our past and everything but I love her a lot. Our family is complicated but I'm just happy to know me and Toni are there for one another.
I was sitting outside with Jughead Jones and Toni. Jughead Jones has been a really good friend to me and he was the transfer from Riverdale High and he is also the son of F.P. Jones.
"Wow Jones. Props to you. It's very Lovecraftian, which I'm sure was the intention. But I gotta ask you, did you write this on a typewriter?" Toni asked. I smiled and laughed at them both. "You can usually tell if it was written by one toni" I said.
Jughead looked at me and then to Toni. "I... yeah. I wanted to get into Lovecraft's headspace." Jughead answered. I smile and then toni looked at me. "Well so it wasn't like Betty bought you a manual typewriter for Christmas or anything weird like that" Toni said looking back at Jughead.
"No comment" Jughead said grabbing the paper back. I laugh and shake my head. Next thing I know Sweetpea and Fangs exit the school and they were laughing and cheering. "What's going on" Jughead asked standing up. I looked at sweetpea concerned. "This hellhole is officially closed! We're done! No more Southside High!" Sweetpea answered. I exhale slowly and I really didn't like the idea.
Toni looked at Sweetpea and was concerned as well. "What! How?" Toni asked. "They say it's gonna be dangerous and gonna be quarantined. Who cares? We're all going to different schools." Sweetpea answered again.
Jughead was also even confused as well. "Wait this doesn't make sense. Where are you guys going?" Jughead asked. "Same as you, and Toni, and Y/n and Fangs. We're going to Riverdale High" Sweetpea said.
It was silent for a moment and then Sweetpea was talking about wanting to knock some heads of Northsiders. Then they walk away leaving Me, Toni, and Jughead there speechless.
I mean yeah Riverdale has been my home for a long time but I just don't think I will fit in well considering everything. Sweetpea and I have had a history as well and uhm it's a secret.
The next day
We all enter Riverdale High so we could get the tour of the place. Next thing we see is Archie Andrew's and Veronica Lodge. I already knew who they were because I was already friends with them and Betty Cooper. "This is fancy" I mumbled. Sweetpea nudged me with his arm and smiled at me. I smile at him and shake my head.
We walk over to the little table and Archie and Veronice look up at all of us. "Friends. On behalf of the students and faculty here at Riverdale High, welcome to your new school. To ease this transition, I've set up a registration desk where you can get your locker assignments, class schedules, and a list of sports and extra-curriculars. We encourage each and everyone of you to drink deeply from the cup that is fair Riverdale." Veronica said.
I smile at Veronica and Archie being there to greet all of us. They were both very nice to me and Jughead as usual. It's actually nice to see them give everyone a fair chance.
"Stand down, Eva Peron!" someone said. I look up and seen it was the Cheryl Blossom in the flesh. Her and some other students were coming down the stairs. I look over and seen Toni getting mad. "There's the school spirit I so fondly remember." Jughead said.
I shake my head and I was getting angry myself. "Cheryl. No one invited Fascist Barbie to the party." Veronica said. Cheryl walks over and stands there crossing her arms. "Wrong Veronica, no one invited Southside scum to our school." Cheryl said. She looked at all of us and then continued to speak.
"Listen up, Ragamuffins. I will not allow Riverdale High's above average GPA to suffer because of classrooms that are overcrowded with underachievers." So please do us all a favor, and find some other school to debase with your hardscrabble ways." Cheryl said.
I shake my head and I was really pissed. "Why don't you come over here and say that to my face?" Toni said walking towards Cheryl. "Happily, Queen of the Buskers." Cheryl said. Then Archie stepped in so it wouldn't go farther.
"Okay guys. Everyone, can we just put our Northside-Southside differences apart and start over? A new slate?" Archie said then Reggie butted in. "Mmm. You don't speak for the Bulldogs, Andrew's. And need I remind you, these greaser-snakes showed up at your place trying to kick your ass." Reggie said.
I look up at sweetpea shocked that he did that and now I was even more pissed off. "Happy to finish what we started." Sweetpea said walking towards Reggie but me and Jughead stopped him. "Sweetpea stop!" I said looking up at him holding him back.
"Well well well. If it isn't miss Y/n. Nice to see you back here. Let me just ask one thing" Reggie said. I turn around and look at Reggie. "If your looking for a real man and not some snake chum sucker behind you I can show you a real good time then these good for nothing snakes" Reggie said.
I was pissed and fumming even more and I just let go because I couldn't hold back. "What did you say" I asked. Reggie smiled and walked towards me. "I said if you don't wanna spend your lonely nights with a snake come find a real man like me" Reggie said. Next thing I know I punched him in the face and knocked him out.
"Oops... my hand slipped" I said. I look up from Reggie and seen everyone shocked. "What? He was being an ass so had to put him in the doghouse" I said smiling. I then seen Sweetpea smiling at me. "Besides I've already found my man that's worth my heart" I said walking over to sweetpea. I then kiss him on the lips in front of everyone.
Guess the secrets have to come out eventually.

Peacemaker (Choni x Reader)
Tumblr media
“No, that’s not the right one! Toni, you have to get the other one.” Cheryl’s voice called out from the closet. You groaned, knowing that if Toni argued, you’d be involved somehow. Cheryl and Toni were great, but occasionally they butted heads. Both of them had very in-charge personalities and Toni was one of the few people in the world who wasn’t in any way afraid of Cheryl’s potential wrath.
“I think this one looks way better, so I’m wearing it,” Toni said and the words that followed sealed your fate.
“Well, why don’t we just ask Y/n? I’m sure she’ll be able to settle our dispute,” Cheryl said and within seconds, both of their footsteps could be heard approaching you. You pretended to be asleep for as long as you could. It didn’t last long because Cheryl grabbed your cheeks and tilted your head to kiss you. You kissed her back, because that’s what you always did, and she broke the kiss to ask her question. “Tell Toni that she shouldn’t wear that jacket today.”
“It looks good on her Cheryl-bomb,” you told your taller girlfriend. Cheryl made a face and you knew that it wasn’t going to be an easy morning. “But what is the alternative?”
“An outfit like this one. I wanted us to match today, all three of us. I put a lot of thought into the outfits and they’re perfect,” Cheryl said. She pulled the outfits out and you looked at them. They were very nice and Toni’s jacket would have thrown off the whole vibe of what Cheryl was going for. “I wanted all three of us to wear them, together. Make a big statement.”
“Toni, Cheryl has worked really hard on this. It obviously means a lot to her,” you said and Toni sighed. “But Cheryl, you can’t force Toni to just do what you want.”
“I know,” Cheryl sighed. “If you want to wear your jacket, you can. We can match another day.”
“Thank you,” Toni said to both of you. “I’m sorry we made you place peacemaker again.”
“Oh don’t worry about saying sorry now. We’ll make sure she knows later, preferably after a couple drinks and a lavish bath,” Cheryl said and you smiled at the thought of being pampered for a second night in a row.

Can you make a part 2 of the Unrequited Love ||Cheryl Blossom fic where the reader becomes depressed and closed off barely showing up at school or something
Unrequired Love | Cheryl Blossom | Part ii
Tumblr media
Summary: Y/N deals with the fall out of her actions on Monday.
Warning: None
Requested: Yes, Unfortunately(?) I have had this part already written and posted on my Wattpad account so it doesn't really fit the request but her is part II.
Monday morning you were prepared for the worst. Knowing there would be no way to fight back with the battalion of student that would be throwing you hateful looks, in fact you would be lucky if that's all they would throw. But what could you do you were in no way a victim to in this story, you were the villain.
You had sent a girl off to the slaughter for your own selfish reasons. Not knowing or even caring if the ones she loved and loved her would ever see her again. Not thinking of how devastated Cheryl would be to learn of the demise of her first real love.
The hour in a half of sitting in your car in front of the school building did nothing to calm the raging storm inside your chest or loosen the noose you felt righting around your throat.
With one final deep breath you grab the handle and swing the car door open, step out and start marching towards the double doors with a look of false confidence on your face. Your heart jumps as you felt the cold handle of the entrance but you ouch it back yanking the door open and stepping into the crowded halls.
Making your way quickly down the hall to your locker trying to go unnoticed by your fellow peers and you were doing a good job of it until you felt both your arms being hooked to other human beings.
Your eyes travel up your arm to the face of the person you were now linked to and find a river vixen, turning your head you find another on the other arm.
"We heard about what you did." The one on your right started. "Honestly it was genius." she beamed with one of the brightest smiles you had ever seen in your life.
"Genius?" You asked so shocked a what she had just said you were 75% sure you were hearing things.
"Why of course, its about time someone sent a message to those slimy snakes." The one on the left cut in. "I mean southsiders are killing each other any ways what's the harm in giving them a little push every once in a while?" She explained.
"Don't worry the northside has you covered. #RiverdaleStrong." She said just as the bell signaled for fist period.
Breaking the link and splitting ways you make your way to your first period.
Although you were relieved that you weren't being ran from town by and angry mob with torches and pitch forks their words didn't give you the comfort you were sure they had intended. In fact they made you feel the exact opposite. You never minded that the southside student had started to attend riverdale, you were one of the ones that was all for this change it never made much sense to you that there be two schools in a town as small as riverdale,
Things didn't get any better once you arrived to first period English class, for the second time that day if felt as though your heart was going to leap out of your throat and all to the floor in front of you. As usual Cheryl was sitting in her usual seat in the middle of the classroom the seat to her left was occupied by Toni and the seat to her right was empty as it always was before you arrived.
Noticing your presence Toni stopped whatever conversation it was that she and Cheryl was having, Cheryl not long after following her gaze. You eyes locked together for no longer than a second before you broke it quickly walking father into the class. As you neared closer the you usual desk Cheryl hesitantly opened her mouth, only yo have you keep your steady pace and walk swiftly by her and to a desk that until now he's remained empty that you would not make yours. You felt her strong gaze on you the whole time, even after you had taken your seat and prepared for the class to begin. Despite being under her unwavering surveillance you kept your eyes glued to your desk, making it seem as though you were suddenly interested in the different grain design of your new desk top. Thankfully she was forced to turn around when the teacher walked into the room starting the lesson.
By the end of first period you had come to the concussion the what ever higher power controlled the corse of your life had some kind of vendetta against you. Because not only did you have a big project to do but you have been partnered with non other than Cheryl, granted it might have been all those time in the past when you and Cheryl had tried to raise hell when you weren't selected to be together to the point where teachers would just partner you together in order to avoid an argument.
Unlike everyone else in the class you had bolted out instead of trying to work out a schedule with you partner. You headed to you locker, putting in the combination quickly before reaching in and pulling out a highlighter starting to mark up the outline the teacher had passed out. Moments later you felt a presence next to you knowing exactly who it was you didn't bother to look up.
"So Y/N/N," Cheryl started. "I was thinking we could knock this out tonight like usual and then maybe a  cheesy romcom marathon for the rest of the night." Cheryl suggested with one of her brightest smile that would normally have you weak in the knees, but now you needed to stay strong.
You glance up noticing Toni standing close behind before looking back to your paper.
"Or we could do a facial night I know how much you love when we do that." She tries again.
After a few more moments of silence you cap you highlighter and place it back in you locker. Taking your outline and putting it in Cheryl's hands and taking hers which was peaking out of her bag.
"We can meet after school to go over the details of the project the highlighted lines are your responsibility, I'll take of the rest. Well meet once a week until the due the due date." You said all while switching out your book is for your next class. " if you have any questions or anything you can relay them to me in class." Closing your locker you turn and start to walk in the opposite direction.
Most of he day went by smoothly.despite having multiple classes together you managed to avoid Cheryl and the rest of the serpents. Until now when you were approached by Toni, Jughead and Sweet Pea.
"What do you want?" You asked trying not to show how scared you actually were.
"We just wanna talk." Jughead answered.
"We'll I'm not really in the mood for this particular conversation, but when  I am you'll be the first to know, Okay?" You replied attempting to push past the trio.
You felt a hand grip your upper arm and look back to see Toni, hand firmly planted on you body.
"Look you put out a hit on me the least you could do is listen to what we have to say." She said removing her hand from your arm and taking a step back.
"Oh she could do a lot less." A slightly familiar voice cuts in, not far way from your gathering you see the two girl that you have 'talked' to this morning accompanied by some bulldog including their captain Reggie Mantle.
"We don't want any trouble we were just here to tell Y/N, that all is forgiven between us." Toni said now directed at you.
"Whatever message received little snake." A bulldog replied. "Now you can all slither away.
After a few moments of glaring at each other the serpents finally walked away.
"Don't worry we have you back." Reggie said walking up to you.
"Yeah thanks." You mumbled watching Toni until she turned the corner leaving your sight.

Soulmate
Summary: This was a commission!! (Commission rules here!) Cheryl Blossom/Reader/Toni Topaz; soulmate AU
Support My Writing?
“Dymon, get up! You’re going to be late for school!” You knew that staying up till five am reading the newest update for your favorite webcomic wasn’t a good idea but you couldn’t think of anything else to do, trying to avoid the panic that had been bubbling since yesterday’s pep rally. You’d been good at covering your mark. It wasn’t strange for people to cover them or have them uncovered. It was common for the popular kids to show of their marks; Cheryl Blossom always had cute little flower doodles and hearts around it; drawn by herself.
When it had been revealed her mark was the same as Toni Topaz’s notorious Serpent from the southside; no one had shut up about it for weeks. Which means you knew if they found out your symbol, a kiss print and a snake twineing around it, was the same you knew it would take a month for it to die down. If anyone believed you.
You weren’t hated at school; you stood at 4 foot 11 inches; which meant no one saw you as a threat; you introverted and quiet personality however marked you as easy prey; which in high school was basically a recipe for being bullied. The Serpents never bothered you; it was mostly the other bulldogs or northsiders that bullied you; they were never fond of differences and you were blending into the background for the wrong reasons; at least to them. You were always surprised none of them went for the obvious jabs; that you wore oversized clothes to hide something; that you were so quiet cause you weren’t smart enough to speak. That your glasses were because you were trying to be cool and fit in; not that you needed them to see. The bullying wasn’t physical; the most that happened was someone shouldered you in the hallway; it was mostly that you were ignored, occasionally their were mean names tossed around insults but it was a little easy to brush them off; none of the Bulldogs actually knew you.
“Dymon!!!”
“Coming down now!!” You shout before anyone else has the chance to accuse you of being late. You know that just because nothing happened yesterday doesn’t mean something will. You’d been nervous; the big end of season game was coming up; which meant there was going to be a huge pep rally. Which meant that all the bulldogs were going to have larger heads than they normally did; which meant you needed to keep yours down.
You tuck your hands into your sweater; black like the rest of your clothes. You know you’re stretching it out, the sleeves are too short; the curse of a late growth spurt.
You keep your mark hidden; it’s safer; you know everyone would just tease you for it and you’re waiting for someone to remember where they’ve seen it. It doesn’t take long for Chuck to see it; for his eyes to light up in the way you know means he knows exactly who your soulmates are.
Cheryl Blossom is wearing her signature lipstick and death glare. You're surprised it's not directed at you; you were currently on the ground, blocking her path. Chuck had shoved you down, claiming you’d faked your soulmate mark. He’d only seen it because you’d been late and the sweater you had grabbed was too short in the sleeves to cover your hand; where the mark rested on your palm. Bright red, a warning beacon to everyone you’re starting to think.
Toni and Cheryl help you up, glaring at Chuck before they pull you into an empty classroom and shut the door.
“Dymon; you should have said something..”
“You know my name?”
“Yeah you come into the comic shop on the southside all the time.”
“I’ve been meaning to ask where you got your boots.” Cheryl gestures down to the combat boots you always wear; you know she’s nodding to the spikes on them.
“Oh I took a couple of chokers and laced them through.” You shrug a little trying to downplay it but Cheryl looks pleased.
“So you’re not mad?”
“I’m a little annoyed you never said anything sooner. You clearly knew it was us when we got together last year right? You should have said something.”
“I didn’t think you’d want to be with me..”
“You’re our soulmate; there’s no one we’d rather be with. And we can announce it at the pep rally; if you’re okay with it.”
“Really?”
“Yes we want everyone to know you’re ours; that you’re with us; why would we want to hide you; you complete us.”

Five Moments That Explain Your Friendship With Cheryl Blossom
Summary: You are Cheryl Blossom's best friends. Five moments that show exactly what you mean to one another. Platonic!Cherylxreader, slight Sweet Pea x reader and brief Choni mentions.
Warning: Mentions of homophobic parents, internalized homophobia, emeto-warning, vomit and nausea warning
Five Moments that Explained Your Friendship with Cheryl Blossom
One. You never even considered whether you wanted to be a River Vixen. Cheryl Blossom was the captain and your best friend. Attendance was mandatory. Resistance was futile. You loved your best friend though even you had to admit that she was a bit…self-involved.
“Obviously I’ll be doing a solo. I’ve got the maddest skills on the squad,” Cheryl explained to Veronica, who questioned her solo choices yet again. Veronica Lodge was a self-claimed reformed mean girl and while she was actually incredibly kind, she was almost a bit…self-involved. “You had a solo last week. Betty has one. A tiny one, of course. Y/N has the biggest solo. Would you like to challenge her to a dance-off?”
Veronica looked in your direction. You shrugged and smiled. Your mother owned Riverdale’s dance studio and you were a company dancer, which required a fifteen-hour-a-week practice minimum. Being the owner's daughter made it closer to twenty-five. Truthfully, you didn’t care much about the solo. Being a River Vixen was fun and significantly less stressful than the dance competition and your goal wasn’t to be the best. If Veronica wanted to challenge you, you wouldn’t take it to heart. You stretched, touching your hands to your toes. When you came back up, you leaped into the arm and did a toe touch, something you had never seen Ronnie do. Okay, maybe you minded a little. Veronica put her hands in the hair, conceding.
“That’s what I thought, Veronica,” Cheryl said with a smirk. Your best friend turned to you. “Now, why don’t we start off by showing the girls what a real dancer can do?”
You smiled and stepped into the center of the room.
Two. Cheryl loved you always, even when you had the occasional spat. Because she loved you, she always worried about you. Your mother wore you ragged with your practice hours, you were a River Vixen (Okay. That one was for her.), and you were in the senior math class. You were chronically stressed. When she handed you a ginger tea that morning, your first sign of impending illness or burnout, she noticed the bags under your eyes.
“Mon Amie, I believe you need to slow down. A sick day perhaps?” You laughed and Cheryl rolled her eyes. She reached for your forehead but you swatted her hand away. You were momentarily distracted as Sweet Pea walked down the hall. Cheryl was sure her eyes had disappeared based on how far back they rolled into her head. She took the opportunity to touch your forehead. It wasn’t warm but she knew it might be coming. You were known for your stomach aches, usually due to stress or exhaustion.
“I’m just a little nauseous. Stomach ache, you know.” Cheryl raised her eyebrows and you sighed heavily. “If it’s not better by lunch…”
“Nurses’ Office, obvi.”
Cheryl loved you enough to only say “I told you so” twice when she had to hold back your hair as you vomited during third period. She didn’t even hesitate to waltz out of the classroom when you charged out, completely ignoring whatever Mrs. Kerwin had to say about it. Riverdale was held together at its very core by Blossom Maple Syrup. There was no way Cheryl would be serving detention for helping her sick best friend. But it was for you, only you and her beloved Toni, whose hair she would ever hold back.
Three. But Cheryl was only repaying a debt from a few months prior. Reggie Mantle’s parents had gone out of town and he had thrown a party. It was wild, of course, and you planned to spend the night sipping the soda that was used for mixers and no alcohol. Cheryl did no such thing.
You gripped your best friend’s arm and pulled her into the bathroom. Her lipstick was smudged and the strap of her tank top was falling off her shoulder. She was gorgeous, but a mess. “Cheryl, you can’t just flop into Archie Andrew’s lap. He’s dating Valerie. You know that.”
“Not for looong.” Cheryl smiled brightly. She was definitely drunk and even now she was sipping from a red solo cup. Something Sober Cheryl would never do in a room so close to a toilet. “He has red hair and I have red hair. His family though kind of poor is like the one family in Riverdale that mine doesn’t hate. So I have to have him.”
“Like ninety minutes ago you were making out with Moose.” Cheryl shrugged and reached for the doorknob. You grabbed her by her shoulders before she could. “He’s dating Midge. Since like the seventh grade. We like Midge. She’s a River Vixen. She’s our friend, Cher. Why would you do that?”
“I like boys.” Cheryl’s eyes started to water. Her hands reached for the necklace at the base of her neck. It was a cherry blossom but instead of being an expensive gold or a giant diamond, it was modest. It had been a gift from Heather, whom Cheryl was close with in middle school. “I like boys.”
“Oh, Cher,” you said, wrapping your arms around her. She never said a word about Heather but you had always had your suspicions. And you knew Cheryl’s mother. Penelope was Cheryl’s greatest and most unnecessary critic. Cheryl pulled back with a jerk.
“I’m going to vomit,” she said, dropping her drink to the floor. As the drink spilled, so did Cheryl and you could do nothing but hold back her hair.
Four. Her breakup with Toni gutted her. You knew that. Cheryl pretended not to care but each night she called you crying, under the guise of having just watched a sad movie. You’d slept over three times that week just because of those calls.  When you found Toni in the bathroom, she paused.
“I don’t want to fight,” Toni said, giving you the once over. The hours of dancing had given you a lot of muscles but Toni was tough too.
“I don’t want to fight,” you answered. Toni seemed to lower her guard but only a little. “I just…I know you love her.”
Toni’s eyes shown with tears and she nodded. You smiled and hugged her. When you pulled back, you said “So please work this out. She’s miserable without you.”
As Toni went to leave, you spoke again. “Oh and babe? To be clear, I think you’re great. But I am team Cheryl. All day. Every day. So if you ever actually do something horrid?”
“Hell hath no fury,” Toni finished. You smiled.
Five. There was never anyone good enough for you but when you chose Sweet Pea, Cheryl had to make a few things clear, even if you’d be furious. Luckily, your new fling was good friends with Cheryl’s love. Best friends dating best friends was a good combination. The double dates would be endless. Still, Cheryl wasn’t going to go easy on him.
“Babe, go easy,” Toni cautioned as the girls sat down across from Sweet Pea. Without a word, Fangs stood from the table and left.
“Sweet Pea, let’s chat,” Cheryl said to an unenthused and nervous Sweet Pea.
“About?”
“You are dating my best friend. My best friend. I don’t need to remind you that the “river” in Riverdale runs with maple syrup, do I?” Cheryl waited but Sweet Pea didn’t say anything. His expression, angry and defiant, made it clear she got her point across. “Now, I like you. Sort of. Toni likes you and mon amour has impeccable taste, obv. And you do seem to properly adore my bestie. But let me make one thing clear.
“My father murdered my brother - my other half over drugs and maple syrup. My mumsie is a homophobic monster who pushed my Nana down the stairs and once dated Riverdale’s best-known serial killer. I am the sole caretaker of my Nana. Through all of this? There was Y/N. I have very little family left, Serpent. You better believe that I will do everything in my power - my unforgiving power to protect it. Understood?”
Before Sweet Pea could answer, Cheryl’s agenda flipped as though someone hit a switch. “Now, darling Tee-Tee and boyfriend of bestie, shall we plan our first double date? I’m thinking something grande. Perhaps with sparkling dresses, sparkling champagne, and the most sparkling of company?”

Jason//sweetheart
Request: Hey Can you do where a Jason blossom where him and you run away because your pregnant and Cheryl is always counting the days if she will ever her brother and her bestfriend again so you both surprise her and she's happy that you both are live and she introduced Jason and you to her gf Toni and toni is happy because she wanted to meet you both so bad since Cheryl always had talk always of both you and Cheryl and Toni are happy that they're a niece to your girl or boy you pick thanks
hey! i absolutely loved writing this so i hope you like reading it! enjoy! and try not to cry.
“I promise we’ll come back.” You sigh, placing a hand on her shoulder. She slumps at the contact, the previous cold facade she’d been trying so hard to keep up crumbling at your words, causing your own lip to wobble as the two of you look at each other.
Jason places a hand on your shoulder and gently tugs you back to him. He glances back at the staircase, eyeing the darkness suspiciously before dropping his gaze back to his sister, and his expression softens when the two of them make eye contact.
Not a night has gone by that they’ve ever been separated, both refusing to go to friend’s sleepovers just in case one of them needs something in the middle of the night. Most people say that it’s weird, that they should have gotten used to being apart when the reluctantly stopped sharing a room, but they shared a womb for 9 months, they do literally everything together, so you can’t blame them for having trouble sleeping if they’re not under the same roof.
And Cheryl thought she wouldn’t have to think about not getting a good nights sleep just yet. She thought it would be when the two of them went off to college, but they’d be in college so they’d be too busy drinking or studying and hopefully that would be a distraction from the distance between them, especially if one of them had you as well. It hadn’t been decided where you were going to study, you just knew you’d be going with one of the Blossom twins.
However, now the prospect of spending who knows how long without her brother and her best friend has hit her like a train. As soon as she heard the whispers and saw the two of you by the front door, two suitcases by your side, she felt her chest tighten, and tears blurred her vision before she’s made it two steps down the stairs.
And then she made eye contact with the two of you, and she swore she could feel her heart breaking.
The two of you looked terrified, your eyes wide as you clung on to Jason’s arm and he shuffled closer to you, placing a protective hand on your stomach. But then you relaxed when you saw her red-hair and curious gaze as she looked between the two of you before making her way down the rest of the stairs.
“Where are you going?” She whispered, her eyebrows furrowed as she closed the distance between the three of you. You glanced at Jason, an unreadable expression on your face that stung Cheryl when she realised the two of you were keeping something from her. “Tell me otherwise I get mom.” She says and Jason grabs her arms gently.
“We’re going away.” He says quietly and her expression changes. The curious look replaced by sadness, one that you can’t bare to see. So when she looks at you, you drop her gaze, and instead grab onto the smaller suitcase by your side.
“What? Why?” She says, a mix of a laugh and sob escaping her lips as she looks at the scene again. “Where are you going? What’s happening. Are you playing some stupid prank on me? Because if this is payback for the hair removal cream in your shampoo you really need to get over it Jason, it was three years ago and your hair grew back...mostly.” She rolls her eyes before settling back on you, a tearful smile pulling on her lips as she tries to get you to confess.
“And really Y/n, how did he get you in on this. I know you guys are dating but come on, bro’s before ho’s. Seriously, what’s he giving you?”
“I’m pregnant.” You whisper, your eyes still trained downwards. Jason sighs and looks up at the ceiling, the sound of Cheryl laughing causes the two of you to look at her.
“Well, that’s one hell of a bribe.” She says, trying to lighten the mood, but when neither of you laugh, her eyes widen and she takes a step towards you again. “Holy shit, are you being serious?” She asks and glances at your stomach.
“Yeah.” You nod, and place a gentle hand over your non existent bump.
She smiles, her eyes glistening as she looks between you, your stomach and Jason. But then they fall back to the suitcases beside you making her frown again.
“Wait, what’s happening? You can’t leave, not now.” She says. “Does mom and dad know about this?” She asks and glances back at the stairs.
“No.” Jason shakes his head. “Nobody does, just you. That’s why we’re leaving.”
“What do you mean?”
“What do you think is gonna happen if they find out she’s pregnant. I’m not bothered what they do to me, I couldn’t care less, but if they find out about her, I don’t even want to know what they’d do.”
“But what about your parents Y/n? They love kids, they’ve been bugging your sister for years about giving them grandchildren.”
“Yeah, but she’s 25, not 17 and she’s not having a baby with a Blossom.” You say. It’s the first time you’ve spoken to her since telling her you’re pregnant.
This should have been a happy occasion, with Cheryl screaming about being an aunt and also being grossed out about the fact that you and her brother have been having sex. You should be showing her scans, rolling your eyes at her as she plans the baby shower, and scolding her when she brings home yet another baby grow that you already have too many of.
Instead, the three of you are on the edge of tears, worried about Penelope and Clifford waking up and catching you at any moment.
“We have to go.” Jason speaks up, glancing between the two of you. A shaky sigh escapes your lips, as tears run down your cheek and you pull Cheryl into a tight hug with the promise of seeing her soon.
Jason mirrors your actions, telling her to stay safe, and if anybody asks, she didn’t see either of you. One night you guys were here, the next you weren’t. No signs, no note, no explanations. Just gone.
“I love you.” You say, and press a quick kiss to her cheek, before Jason grabs the suitcases and leads you outside.
She watches the two of you hurry into the car, the break lights basking the large house in a red glow, however to Cheryl it’s just a red blur, the tears filling her eyes obscuring her vision as she waves blindly, unable to stop the sobs that escape her lips.
Because now she’s alone.
Alone and scared.
Cheryl wakes with a start. Her long finger nails clawing at her chest as she struggles to regain her breathing. Toni sits beside her, a gentle hand stroking her bare arm as she blinks the sleep from her eyes.
“It’s okay, you’re okay.” She says, her tone a gentle mix of sympathy and sleepiness, and Cheryl feels herself starting to calm down. The darkness that had gripped her tightly has slowly decided to loosen and she can finally focus on the four walls that surround her and keep her safe, instead of the dreary expanse that fills her mind and keeps her up at night.
“You’re safe. You’re with me, just breathe.” She continues, and Cheryl matches her breathing to the pink haired girl sat beside her.
Eventually, she calms down, and Toni pulls her into a hug as she lies back. Cheryl closes her eyes, head on Toni’s chest as she listens to the steady beating of her heart.
“Do you want to talk about it?” She asks, her voice barely above a whisper and Cheryl’s glad of the hushed tone.
“No thank you.” She replies and wipes a stray tear that rolls down her cheek.
“Okay.” She nods. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah.” She replies. “Sorry if I woke you up.” She adds, feeling slightly guilty about the whole ordeal. She still feels embarrassed when the feelings she tries so hard to ignore come to the surface. But then Toni holds her in her arms and tells her that it’s okay to feel, and despite the shame, it does make her feel slightly better.
“Nah.” She shrugs. “I was already awake.”
“Why?”
“I thought I heard the bogeyman outside.” She says with a snort making Cheryl roll her eyes.
“Shut up.” She laughs.
But a knock on the door makes them both freeze. Cheryl’s eyes widen while Toni tries to act tough, despite having the size - and scariness of a toddler.
“What was that?” Toni whispers and Cheryl looks at her annoyed.
“The bogeyman?” She shrugs.
“Not funny.” Toni grumbles, swinging her legs over the bed and grabbing the baseball bat from behind the headboard.
“You started it.” Cheryl whispers and follows her grabbing the small gun she keeps under the bed and Toni’s eyes widen at the sight of her girlfriend.
“Alright Billy the Kid, calm down.” She mumbles sarcastically and Cheryl lets out an exasperated sigh.
Slowly the two of them creep down the stairs, taking it in turns to hide behind each other as they try to see who’s on the other side of the door. The doorbell rings again and they both freeze on the bottom step.
“You answer, it’s your house.” Toni whispers.
“Are you kidding me, you’re in a gang for god’s sake. You answer it.” She argues making Toni shake her head quickly. “Jesus Christ.” She mumbles and tightens her grip on the gun. “It’s okay.” She whispers and creeps towards the front door. She takes a deep breath and rolls her eyes at Toni stands behind her, baseball bat raised and eyes closed. “Who the fuck are you and what do you want?” She says, her voice sharp as she aims the gun at the unwelcome visitors.
“Wow, did Riverdale really get that bad since we were gone.” A familiar voice asks and her breath hitches as she lowers the gun.
“Jason?” She asks unbelievably, her amber eyes meeting her brothers, and a large grin graces his features as he stares down at his little sister.
“I told you we’d be back.” Another voice says, and Cheryl’s eyes widen as her gaze shifts from her brother to you, holding a sleeping baby in your arms.
“Holy shit.” She whispers and springs towards the two of you. She wraps her arms around Jason first, pulling him into a tight hug as tears roll down her cheeks. And then she moves on to you, giving you a side hug before looking over your shoulder and staring down at the her niece or nephew. “I can’t believe you guys are back. Fuck, I’ve missed you so much.” She cries and you can’t help your own tears that spill down your cheeks.
“We’ve missed you too.” You sob and hug her again.
“Cheryl?” Toni asks and the three of you turn to look at the petite girl standing in the doorway.
“Y/n, Jason. This is Toni, my girlfriend. Toni, my brother Jason and my best friend Y/n.” She says, introducing you all and you send an awkward wave over Cheryl’s shoulder.
“Hi.” Jason says and Toni looks at the two of you in disbelief.
“Holy shit.” They’re actually here.” She says, mirroring Cheryl’s previous words and Cheryl giggles. “Come in, come. It’s freezing.” She ushers you in, and drops the bat by the front door before going to make some tea.
“So, why are you guys back?” Cheryl asks, a little scared to hear the answer.
“Well.” Jason coughs as he sits on the sofa. You sit beside him, shuffling uncomfortably and Cheryl hands you a cushion to put under the arm holding the baby.
Her gaze lingers on you for a few seconds as you gaze down, your fingers gently stroking the cheek of your baby and a happy smile pulling on your lips as you coo at them. She can’t believe you’re actually a mom. You’re a mom and Jason’s a dad, like holy shit.
“You guys are parents.” She mumbles, stopping Jason from continuing and the two of you look at her, shy smiles on your faces.
“Yeah.” You nod. “I was pregnant the last time I saw you.” You tease and she rolls her eyes at you. At least some things haven’t changed.
“That’s why we’re back actually.” Jason says, pulling his sisters attention away from his daughter. “After what happened to dad and with mom leaving, we thought it would be okay to come back for a bit. Introduce Rose to her auntie.” He adds the last part with a cheeky smile and Cheryl’s eyes widen.
“Rose?” She asks and you nod.
“Do you wanna hold her?” You ask and she nods quickly.
“We’ve told her all about her auntie, and so she is very excited to meet you...I promise.” You say after glancing down at her sleeping form and Cheryl giggles before taking her from you gently.
“So, Cheryl, we’d like to formally introduce you to Rose Cherie Blossom.” Jason says, tearing Cheryl’s gaze away from Rose for a brief second and the two of them mirror each others wide smiles.
“Hi.” She giggles and presses a kiss to Rose’s head. Toni comes in holding a teapot big enough for the whole of Riverdale and places it on the coffee table before sitting beside Cheryl. “I’m Cheryl, and this is your auntie Toni. I know it might be a bit confusing as to why this is the first time we’re meeting, but let’s just say things are a bit complicated here in Riverdale, but I’m gonna do whatever I can to keep you safe. I promise, you’re a Blossom, and we look after each other.”

Before you came to Riverdale High, things were very simple for Archie. His routine was very simple; get up, go to school, go to football practice, hang out with the gang, have some lovey-dovey time with Veronica, and if she didn't spend the night, he'd stay home and sleep in his cold bed alone, only being accompanied by Vegas.
But upon your arrival, something inside Archie shifted, he never could pinpoint what it was about you that made him fall for you, more specifically, obsess over you. Was it the way you walked? Was it your attitude or your personality? Was it the way you dressed? Well, whatever it was made Archie feel emotions he never felt before, something he's never even felt for Veronica. Something dark, something sinister. Every time he thought about you, the more he wanted to protect you, the more he craved you. He'd constantly catch himself staring at you in the hallways and in class. He'd even follow you home after school to make sure you made it home safe. It only made it worse when your family moved next door to him in the empty house on the right, it only made things easier for him. Archie had a place in his house he would call his 'special room' that was right next to your upstairs bedroom window that gave him the perfect view inside your room.
He'd always find it adorable how you had your collection of teddy bears of many different colors and shapes, how your room was decorated with pastel pinks and pastel purples. He had to be sure to board up his window in the room so you wouldn't catch him staring at your window. Archie wanted to do things to you he couldn't say out loud, disgusting, horrific, sinful things to you. He wanted so desperately to corrupt your innocent and pure mind. He wanted to chain you up and lock you inside this hidden room and hide you from the dangerous world. He wanted to be the only one to see your pretty (s/t) face, he wanted to be the only one to see you dressed in the cute frilly skirts you always wear to school. He wanted to make you his personal lap dog so you'd happily obey his every word and command without hesitation. He was so excited to have you, he even had a box he kept locked and hidden away in the room that was filled with lingerie, dresses, skirts, crop tops, maid outfits, and much much more for you to wear only for him to see you in. Archie knew that if anyone ever found out about his secret they'd view him differently, disgusted at him like he was some monster. So he had to make sure word will never got out, and he'll stop at nothing to get what he wants, even if he has to kill the ones who try to stop him.
-------Time Skip-------
The next day at school, Archie was in the student loungeroom with Veronica forcefully cuddling into his arms, making him internally cringe, but he had to keep up his 'perfect boyfriend' act so he doesn't spark up any suspicions. In front of them was Tony and Cheryl coupled up, and Betty and Jughead were doing their romantic thing, the whole group was just chatting and hanging out with one another.
The back of Archie's head was tingling, and a voice was telling him to look behind him, and oh boy was he glad he listened. When he turned his head, it seemed like time slowed down as his eyes were blessed with the most beautiful sight the could have wished for walked in, his crush. (Full Male Name), the boy of his dreams walked in the room, dressed in an argyle pattern sweater, under the sweater was a white dress shirt that was tucked into a pleated white skirt that had a two black stripped lines running along the bottom of it, white high top converse decorated his feet with black fishnet stocking that went all the way up under his skirt. His nails were adorned with light blue polish, his neck that Archie wanted to ruthlessly mark up was wrapped with a pearl necklace that was white and sparkling. Utter fucking beauty. Beauty that could make any guy bow at your knees, and make any girl watch in envy.
When you walked in the lounge room you waved at the gang and Archie, making the red headed boy's face flush red as his heart fluttered. You made your way past them and went straight to the table where Reggie, Sweet Pea, and couple of other Serpent boys were sitting. You walked up and gave the boys hugs and started chatting with them, which did not go unnoticed by Archie.
It made him jealous, it infuriated him. Why couldn't he cuddle you like the other couples in front of him? Why couldn't he be the one to make you laugh? Why couldn't he touch you like Reggie and Sweet Pea did? Why would you let them defile you like that? He couldn't understand it, you let them touch you, but you don't even see them as nothing more than friends. They had no fucking right to touch what belonged to him, Archie had to fix this and he had to fix it fast. Blinded with rage, Archie unconsciously tightened his grip on Veronica's hand she forced into his, causing her to wince in the subtle pain. He quickly let her hand go at her outburst.
"Archiekins are you okay, you've been acting weird ever since the new kid transferred here?
Archie grabs and shakes his head in an attempt to get rid of those thoughts, and get himself back together.
"Uh, yeah Ronnie, it's nothing. Trust me, it has nothing to do with (Male Name). Um...I have to go and uh, take care of something. I'll probably see you guys later on today"
Archie unhooks his arm and hand from Veronica's grasp and stands up from the lounge couch and grabs his bags to leave, but not before giving her a quick peck on the cheek. He walks out of the student lounge cringing at the kiss and runs to the bathroom as fast as he can, bursting through the door he locks it and checks underneath each stall to see if anybody was there before dropping his bags on the ground and walking into one of them. The more and more he thought about the kiss with Veronica, the more Archie begins to feel nauseous and quickly bends down to the toilet as his stomach rejects everything he ate that day. The sour acidic tasting liquid rushes up from his stomach, up past his esophagus, and out of his mouth, splashing into the toilet water. Tears ran down his eyes as his clenching stomach began to hurt with each gag and hurl. It literally made him sick thinking about kissing Veronica, or anybody besides you for that matter. He couldn't stand touching her, he couldn't stand looking at her, he couldn't even stand having sex with her anymore. Every interaction he had with her, he had to pretend it was you he was doing it with. He had to pretend it was (Male Name) he was kissing, that it was (Male Name) he was holding and touching, that it was (Male Name) he was fucking. Ever since the first day you transferred to Riverdale High, everything he ever felt for Veronica or did with Veronica faded away. At first he thought he was just sick, or just a phase, but it wasn't. This was something real he felt for you.
After he finished throwing up, he flushed the toilet and walked out of the stall and walked to the sink to rinse his mouth out. Spitting the water out he looked himself in the mirror. His face and neck was flushed with red, veins popping out in his neck and hands from the pressure of regurgitating, his eyes blood shot red from anger and disgust at Veronica. He couldn't take it anymore, it was too much. Fuck Veronica for being too clingy, fuck Hiram for threatening to kill him every time he thought about ending things with her, fuck Reggie and Sweet Pea for touching you the way they did.
"FUCKING WHY!?" He screamed as he punched the glass mirror, shattering it to bits and pieces. The pain of the glass shards sticking in his knuckles was completely numb to him, so he didn't notice until he felt warm crimson liquid running down his hands and dripping into the sink. The bathroom began filling up with the metallic sent of blood. Archie slowly picks out each and every chunk of glass stuck in his hand before cleaning and wrapping it in a bandage cloth he found in his bag. He then washed his face, got himself together, grabbed his bags, and left the bathroom as if nothing happened. He made his decision in that moment looking at the mirror. He got tired of waiting for you to come around. He got tired of waiting for you to talk to him. He knew that you were too shy to admit your feelings and your love for him...right? You did love him right? I mean, all the waves and smiles you sent his way. All the times you let Reggie, Sweet Pea, and all the other boys touch you was just to make him jealous, right? Yeah, that's right. He knew you were trying to get him to confess his love first, so that's exactly what he's gonna do. This week was the week you were gonna finally be his. Count your days, cus ready or not, here he comes.
After school Archie went straight home. He skipped football practice, he skipped hanging how at Pop's with the gang. He had one thing in mind, and one thing only. Getting you.
Sweet Pea was easy to take care of. All Archie had to do was easily break into his trailer dead in the night when everyone was asleep, and easily off the poor boy before he could even scream. Each day, one by one all the boys you talked to, or even touched ended up dead. And Reggie was the last survivor. By this time, people were starting to question the disappearance of the other boys. People were staring to whisper that you had something to do with it, which caused people to start avoiding you. Ever since you transferred to Riverdale High a month ago in the middle of the year, everyone instantly took a liking to you. You were dubbed as 'skirt boy' or 'dress boy' , not as in insult or anything because people really admired how you lived by the motto 'clothes are just fabric, they have no gender'. You made a name of yourself in just a couple of months. But all of that was taken from you. People no longer wanted to be around you. No body talked to you, hugged you, or even looked at you. People became scared of you, fearing that if they were around you, that they'd disappear too.
----Time Skip----
Archie managed to get wind that Cheryl was throwing a party after school, and obviously everyone was invited . Since Archie knew that Reggie would never pass up a good party, he knew that he was going to be there, and he would finally was able to finish him off like he did to Sweet Pea and the other few boys.
When Archie arrived at Thistlehouse, it was flooded with people from school. Empty bottles and cups of alcohol crowded the floor of the house everywhere, different color lights flashed throughout the room painting people with many different colors. Horny and sweaty kids were grinding and making out with one another, and it sickened Archie. The music was far too loud for his liking, all he wanted to do was kill Reggie, find you, and get the hell out of there.
"Archie! There you are dude, what took you so long to get here?"
Archie turned at the sound of the voice. Lo and behold, it was Reggie.
"Oh hey man, what a coincidence. I was just thinking about where I could find you." Archie says to the swaying and obviously drunk man.
"Oh y..yeah, I wash jush..talkin' tah (M...Male Name) upstairs. Ya'..ya'...yah' know w..what man. He's been pretty upshet lately. Yeah, he saysh p..people have shtaped talkin tah him"
Archie just couldn't help but darkly smile, this was all too easy for him. He'd at least thought that he would have to look forward to a challenge, but no. Things were smoothly playing out for him, and he's definitely without a doubt going to take advantage of it.
"Really now? Well how about you go get him and I can drive both of you home since you're obviously too waisted to drive."
Reggie nodded and stumbled his way to the stairwell, tripping and falling over several steps on his way up. Archie quickly grabbed a drink of strong alcohol and downed it easily, hissing at the burn, and made his way to his car. He sat in his seat and patiently waited for you both to come down. Archie looked down and saw the gun in his pocket being exposed a little, so he pulled his shirt down to cover it. He could feel himself getting overly giddy and excited thinking about you sitting in his car, and how tonight will finally be the night he'll have you and permanently get rid of Reggie. A few minutes later, he sees the both of you stumble out of the house. Even you were drunk too? Fucking amazing.
Both you and Reggie hopped in the car, with you in the front seat, and Archie began driving off. Throughout the whole drive Archie's grip of the steering wheel tightened and his heart was thumping as fast as a jackhammer, and it didn't get better when you dosed off and your head landed on his shoulder. Reggie was asleep in the back seat too, which gave Archie the opportunity to get a better look at you. He could smell the fruit scented perfume you were wearing, he felt himself twitch in his pants when he saw the way your skirt was hiked up a little on your leg, showing off your beautiful (h/hl) (s/c) legs he so desperately wanted to mark up, and your thicc thighs he wanted to stick his face between. Time seemed to fly by when he was staring at you, as he pulled onto the side of the road that lead to Sweetwater River. Trying not to disturbed you, Archie gently takes your leaning figure off of his shoulder and sits you up so you lean on the window. He got out of the car, woke up Reggie, and told him to take a walk with him.
The trip from the car to the river was quite short, which made Archie happy since he didn't want to keep you waiting. Both him and Reggie were admiring the view. The bright green trees standing tall as giants on the other side of the river, the glowing blue river water rushed past the rocks, splashing as it goes by. Reggie tripped and fell over the small rocks, as they were not really a reliable source for balance, especially in his wasted state. Archie stayed back a few feet behind him, and pulled out the gun hidden in his pocket, he pulled the hammer aiming it at Reggie's head. The clicking of the gun alerted Reggie as he turned around to see the origin of the noise, but before he could even utter a word out of his mouth, Archie pulled the trigger. The fast moving bullet shot out of the gun and lodged itself in between Reggie's eyes and shot out the back of his head. The power of the bullet caused blood to spew out and stain Archie's blue letterman jacket and face. Reggie's body went limp, falling on the ground instantly dead, blood flowing out of his head and trailing down into the water. Archie spit out the blood that shot into his mouth, cringing at the bitter taste of it. He stuck the gun back into his back pocket and rolled Reggie's heavy body into the river, watching as his lifeless body drifts away, never to be seen again by anyone.
Now that Reggie's gone, he'll have to find some way to break up with Veronica without Hiram being on his ass. Maybe he could set her up by getting her to cheat on him and then catch her in the act. He would have to take some time to think about it, but for now, he would just worry about that later. Now all he has to do is get back to you, and take you to your new room he set up for you. He ran back to the car, opened the door and closed it as quietly as he could so he didn't wake you and took off. While driving to his house, Archie adored watching you as you slept, lightly drooling as you did. He took one of his hands off the steering wheel and gently placed it on your warm leg, rubbing it up and down. He bit his lip and groaned as he felt your skin running against his flesh, he couldn't wait to have you when you got to your new home. Every now and then you'd stir in your sleep, alerting Archie, but he managed to continue his journey back. He finally gets to his house with you still asleep next to him, he clicks the garage remote to automatically open the garage and drive inside it, making sure to click the button again to close it. Archie looks behind the rearview mirror to make sure the garage was closed tight so no one can see what he's up to, then he steps out of the car and opens your side of the door, not forgetting to catch your head as it was still leaning on the window. He softly unbuckles your seatbelt, wraps your arms around your neck and picks you up, he then wraps your legs around his waist and rests his hand under your butt to balance you (also cus he just wanted to grope dat ass 😛).He shuts both of the car doors and makes his wat to the door, skillfully taking the keys out of his front pocket and unlocks the door to walk in.
Archie is firstly greeted by Vega, running to meet him barking with his wagging tail trying to jump on him for attention, only to be shushed by the red head. The barks caused you to move in his grasp and wrap your arms tightly and cuddle into the closest thing to you, which made Archie feel like he was on top of the world. He walked up the stairs, with Vegas closely following with curiosity as to who the new person was. He made it to the door of his secret room, which was now the place where he was going to keep you hidden from everyone, and opened it. He then walked in and sat you down on the floor locking a neck cuff around your neck with a pink heart shaped padlock so you don't escape. He walked over to the boarded up window he used to peak at you threw and made sure it was shut tight before pulling up a chair and silently staring at you with pride. He finally had you inside his house, finally to himself. He can finally now be the only one to touch you, to look at you, to hear your voice, and to fuck you. Just the though of it made his pants tighten. And now that you're hear, why not?
Slowly you wake up, opening your eyes in a groggy daze and a splitting pain in your head. You open your eyes and try to examine the dimly lit room you were in, or at least try to make out a figure or something. But...this..wasn't your room, these weren't your decorations, something felt off...felt..wrong. The cold uncomfortable metal on your neck made you shiver as you tried to pull at it to get it off, with little to no avail. In front of you you see navy blue adidas, calling out to the first person that popped in your mind. "Reggie?...W..where are we? Weren't we..at Cheryl's party?"
"Wrong name, (Male Name). Why don't I help you remember who I am baby?"
Archie gives you a sly look at your chained up figure before taking his shirt off. He then tosses the article of clothing to an unknown area in the room and he unbuckles his belt as he starts removing his pants, smiling at your scared and now sober quivering figure.
"P...please Archie, just let me go, and I promise I won't say anything to anyone. Just please let me go...I'll..I'll do anything you want, anything"
"Awww, how pathetic. Don't think you're getting away from me again that easily, begging like that~"
