What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?

none of my fics *really* have angsty endings, but at the end of 'put your strength down' max just falls asleep after, like, having a horrible time. so that's not a great ending for him, even though he's eventually fine.

What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending?

i like the ending of 'never strangers at all' best for this question, because the joy they're both feeling is so intense in that moment. <3

Do you write crossovers?

i have an unfinished WIP which is an x-men/f1 crossover, which i do plan on going back and finishing someday. however it's weirdly started before i liked f1 and VERY inaccurate, so it's going to go through some hardy re-editing. (f1 fans beware)

yes! i have, lol. people didn't like that max & daniel didn't end up together in one of my fics. that's alright. those who get it get it.

What's your all-time favorite ship?

ALL time!? jfc. ahh, that's a super hard one. i love my f1 ships but i'm sentimental. i mean, it has to be cherik, right? they've been with me a looong time. maybe damen and laurent from captive prince. or scott and emma from x-men, who i've never really written except as minor characters, but would die for. tough question.

What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

i mean, i really hope my x-men/f1 wip gets finished. it's been a long journey with that fic and i really love the plot that i know exists in there. but i'm not SURE i'll finish it. there's a cherik a/b/o fic that i know will never see daylight for sure. unless i finish that crossover, i think almost all my cherik stuff is dead on the vine. (for now.)

What are your writing strengths?

dialogue, and that's about all i got. i'd say that includes a good inner monologue too.

What are your writing weaknesses?

everything else? ah, metaphors and similes are probably my downfall. i'm trying.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

not ever gonna happen. i hate looking dumb. writing erik lehnsherr was always fun bc he's jewish, so i do let his mom speak a bit of yiddish, because i speak a bit of yiddish. otherwise, i just denote that a character's not speaking in english and then go on with the dialogue.

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

uhhh, i mean, the first fics i EVER wrote were probably about the jonas brothers when i was like, 8. but the first fics i ever POSTED were probably one direction when i was like, 16 or so. could've also been x-men bc i posted my first fic in that fandom around the same time. anyway, all been orphaned now, so good luck charlie if you're tryna find em.

What's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to?

oh man, i don't think any? i haven't written any in-depth maxiel and i really want to, but i do have, like, 3 maxiel fics on my ao3. but yeah, i'm excited to like actually really delve into them. i love them.

What's your favorite fic you've written?

i think the *best* fic i've written is probably 'the pain will remind us of each other.' it's just a different kind of writing and i think it's, like, pretty well pulled off, and it's just clean and straightforward and gets the emotions where i wanted them to go. there's some of my favorite lines i've ever written in there. charles in erik's mind, erik saying "where have you been?" was a really cool visual that i was happy i got to put on paper.

i also really love never strangers at all. it's undoubtedly the best f1 fic i've written. but i'm also, like, rapidly improving my writing these past few months and i'm already a bit critical of it. anyway, i still do think charles & max's relationship is lovely, and i'm proud of how i stuck to my guns in terms of what i wanted their dynamic to be, even if it's different from how a lot of people perceive them.

Erik breathed deeply as he stood on the deck of his ship, which was now docked in one of the many ports of the Mediterranean Sea. The smell of the sea and the wood under his feet gave him the strength to dictate orders to his crew.

"Alright Alex, you take that crate, Darwin you take that barrel and I swear to God Sean, don't you dare hide that bottle of Brandy to get drunk below deck." Emma, ​​his second in command, snorted at her commander's paternal anger.

"You know, sometimes I'm amazed that you don't have kids. You seem like the type." She said following Erik as the latter made sure everything was as it should be.

"I don't have time for these things." He said, glaring at Angel who, instead of helping her companions, was looking straight ahead sitting on a wooden crate.

"What's this one? It weighs less than all the others." Sean said as he lifted a barrel almost effortlessly. Suddenly, noises began to come from the container and the redhead made a screeching noise, knocking it to the ground and walking away.

"Ouch!" A voice shouted from inside the barrel. All the men of The Genosha stood at attention, drawing their swords and pistols and Erik, first of all, stood in front of the barrel with the weapon ready in his hand. He took off the lid and almost had a stroke. Inside the container, a pair of small eyes as blue as the sea, eyes he knew he had seen before, stared at him.

"Who the hell are you?" He asked the boy, more like a kid, he thought to himself, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt and pulling him out.

"Leave me!" He said in a voice that was a mix of scared and angry, kicking Erik in the shins. The man grunted and dropped the boy who ran away from the pirates near the ship's railing. For a few seconds none of those present said a word.

"I'm looking for my father." He said after some time.

"Isn't this a strange place to be looking for your father? We're pirates, not merchants or whatever." Erik said approaching the boy who walked away again making the captain sigh.

"My father is a pirate. One... one of the bravest on the seven seas and I am here to kill him." The little guy said defiantly.

"Kill? How old are you? You're not old enough to kill."

"Yes I am! I'm eleven, I know what I'm doing." He said yelling and planting his feet. Erik put his hand on his face and prayed to all the gods to give him the strength not to throw this child into the sea.

"Okay, so tell me, who is your father?" Erik put the weapon away and looked at the boy.

"Erik Lehnsherr is my father's name."

Erik froze

His entire crew froze

Emma laughed.

"What did you say?" Erik asked in a hiss, approaching the boy menacingly, grabbing him by the arm so he wouldn't run away.

"I'm Erik Lehnsherr and I have no children. If some crazy Omega told you this because they didn't know who your real father was, it's none of my business but I swear, say that shit to anyone and I'll let you taste my sword." He said through gritted teeth. The boy learned the news with shock, gasping and trying to pull away.

"My dad would never lie to me." He said with tears starting to fill his eyes.

"And tell me, who would your dad be?" The boy swallowed and took courage.

"Charles Xavier." He said in a small voice. Erik felt his heart beat faster and released the boy. Those eyes, that's where he'd seen them before. He had seen them many years before, when he was still an inexperienced young man, in that week he spent under the covers of an English boy named Charles. Oh, how Charles must have suffered when Erik left in the middle of the night without saying goodbye. He had to do it, he was starting to get too attached and if he stayed one more night, he would never go back to sea again. And now he had a son.

“Charles… Charles Xavier, you say?” He said trying to remain calm. The boy nodded.

"Where is your dad now?"

"We live in England. Dad is a teacher there. I won't let you hurt him again." The boy said.

"Hurt him? I would never hurt Charles intentionally."

"You abandoned him! It's your fault if during the night instead of sleeping he cries over some idiot he had a fling with!" The young man punched him in the side, not hard enough to make him fall but enough to make him step back.

"Take me to him. Please." He said looking at the boy with pleading eyes.

"And why would I ever do that?"

Erik thought about it.

"You said you want to kill me, right? But I didn't hurt you, I hurt your dad. It's only right that he should do it, take me to Charles and I promise I'll let him do what he wants to me." The boy looked at him not yet completely sure but nodded.

"What is your name?" He asked after they set sail to go see his lost lover. The child, who was sitting on the parapet looking at the sea in front of him, did not turn to look at his father, but answered.

"David." He said with a confident expression.

“My name is David Lehnsherr and I kind of hate my dad for deciding to give me your last name.”

As for what to expect in 2025, I have a few things laid out so far and working on a few new projects already. Expect another work in the universe I created with Erik and Charles as parents in I think I’ve seen this love before. and take me so breathless. I have quite an extensive plot sorted for that already, so I'll write it all up and then post it pretty similarly to how I posted the first part in that series.

Additionally, I have an idea sorted for some soulmate AUs, so I'll be working on that as quickly as possible to get that out - gonna be some shorter works, which I'm not used to, but I wanna take a crack at writing more succinct works.

And of course, I'll update succubus!Charles into the new year - have some fun things planned for that as well.

Might dabble in a few omega verse works as well, maybe expanding on the work I already published or coming up with something entirely different.
