Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) Review – Exploring the Past
TL;DR –.It is a remarkable film that still holds up today and provided a strong foundation for everything that followed.   ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rating: 4 out of 5. Post-Credit Scene – There is a mid-credit sceneDisclosure – I paid for the Disney+ service that viewed this film. Rise of the Planet of the Apes Review – Back in the 2010s, remakes were all the rage, and most of them were not great. So, I am not…

Chelah Horsdal, Rufus Sewell and Alexa Davalos being interviewed for BuildSeries in NYC tody.
"The only rooster in the yard ~ Hahn im Korb"
Q) Chelah, talk about working closely with costar Rufus Sewell, who plays your husband on screen/The Man in the High Castle.
A) This, again, is a tough one. My affection for Rufus knows no bounds. From the first moment we met we just clicked. One look in his eyes and I knew we’d be good. I was in awe of his talent right up until our last day of shooting, four years later. He is so unbelievably talented and committed to being truthful in every moment. There is no bullshitting when your partner is present in the way. Rufus has a unique effect on me in that we shared such a connection of trust and felt safe to take risks, which naturally leads to allowing yourself as an actor to risk more and push yourself further in making “dangerous” emotional choices. He gave me that, mostly just by being a soft place to land between action and cut. This is one of the many benefits of working so closely with someone for a long period of time. With each passing year our connection and understanding for one another grew and I’d venture to say that that deepening made us better at our jobs. It also makes harder to have it end. Chelah Horsdal, starry mag. 2019

#32 Man in the high castle
This TV series you can watch on Amazon Prime takes part in parallel universe where nazi Germany won the war and took over most the word including United States that are divided between Germany and Japan and between them lays neutral zone. We mostly focus on stories of 5 completely different people living in the former US. My favourite character in series is John Smith who at first got used to living in nazi Germany and have grown to accept it but after some tragic event starts to hate how his live turns out. I really recommend it if you have some free time but i don't really like how the series ends because it's another one of these where good always wins and i really could use some evil wing to make life a title less boring.

Hollow Man 2 (2006)
In today's review, I find that some grudges still have to be seen to be believed. As I attempt a #positive review of the 2006 sci-fi thriller, Hollow Man 2 #PeterFacinelli #LauraRegan #ChristianSlater #DavidMcIlwraith #WilliamMacDonald #SarahDeakins
While the old phrase goes that seeing is believing, how does that account for what we feel? What emotions stir inside, the feelings of joy, or rage, how do those drive us to do impressive things, only limited by our physical beings? In 2006, a direct-to-video sequel attempted to show how far rage would go, even if you cannot see it in Hollow Man 2. The move to a more conspiracy-laden adventure…

Now Streaming: "Star Trek: Discovery" Final Season on Paramount+ (4/4/2024)
Now Streaming: "Star Trek: Discovery" Final Season on Paramount+ (4/4/2024)
“Space, the Final Frontier. These are the final voyages of the USS Discovery” and while I know that this is in no way how the show begins, it’s true, “Star Trek: Discovery” embarks on their last adventures in the final season of the show that begins streaming today on the Paramount+ streaming service. Truth be told I’ve only ever seen a mere handful of the series when I briefly had the service so…

Star Trek: Discovery – Lagrange Point – TV Review
TL;DR – A race to the end, but with some real charm.   ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rating: 3.5 out of 5. Disclosure – I paid for the Paramount+ service that viewed this episode. Star Trek: Discovery Review – Well, it is the penultimate episode of the series, and I am not sure, but I am ready for it to end. Today, we get a perfectly solid part 1 to the end of the season and a part 1 to the end of a series. This is…
