Fantastic dinner party with friends this evening. Every morsel was completely made from scratch! Recipes taken from @jeremyleeqv brilliant new book ‘Cooking’. Sensational chicken, leek and tarragon pie. Followed by profiteroles. It’s this first time I’ve ever made choux pastry and they turned out fantastic! Starter was @fergus_nosetotail inspired. Roasted bone marrow with sea salt and black pepper. I’m afraid I couldn’t wait! Christmas it still too far away! So I gave into temptation and bought my copy of @jeremyleeqv new book ‘cooking’ from @toppingsbath my favourite and the best bookshop around. The icing on the cake was to see that this is a signed first edition. Looked like I’ll be getting to grips with that chicken pie recipe a lot sooner than expected.
