It's such whiplash from going from my corner of tumblr to tiktok when it comes to odysseus
Like here (in my corner idk about the rest) its pretty common knowledge that what happened to odysseus was sa, and most of the stuff abiut him are based off of the Iliad or Odyssey (or epic) and yk people know what they're talking about
And then
Then I go tiktok and it's all "odysseus is cheating scum! Circe, Calypso, and Penelope deserved better! He did them dirty! And achilles and patroclus! Terrible person! Bad! They're the victims!"
Which wild take but ok

Dilemma
Should I make "Taking candy for a fool" a fic, or keep going as a comic?
Pros to comic: I can keep it short, sweet, and simple, which is basically what I have planned. Cons to comic: Gonna be real, I have ideas for other characters like the original fnaf crew...and I really actually don't want to draw them so they may only be mentioned but never seen.
Pro's to Fic: Can add those character's I don't want to draw, possibly make it a more in depth story for those certain aspect I really don't feel like drawing. And I miss writing (Typing makes me feel like I'm going super sayen)
Con's to fic: What I have planned is fairly simple, and I might feel like I'm not putting enough in it to feel like an actual fic to me...
Could also do what I did for Y/N's intro a do a bit of both, but Its a little out of my comfort zone.

it's been nearly 6 months since the ted lasso finale and im still pretty much:
#ted lasso#messing with us tedbecca shippers and giving rebecca some rando...ruining a canon ship...trying to girl boss a character-#-who you didn't even let have her own work plot when it was time...#making two men who had a beautiful relationship growth fight last minute over said girlboss and making them grossly misogynistic#leaving one of your characters in an ab*s*ve relationship was an awful woman and all the mentioned ab*s*ve moments were-#-just for sh*ts and giggles#ohhh and also making it mandatory to forgive even the sh*tty people when it's ok not to#taking your lead away from a place he was most stable and maybe or maybe not having him get back with his ex who told him he was too much..#-got with their therapist (and you never dig deep into that mess) and maybe cheated...#yes to be with his son but there were options for him to stay in london and bring his kid and ex so they could both parent or show a-#representation of these kind of situations and maybe have henry living with each parent 6 months each and getting the best of both worlds#also your boss is more rich than she started and was providing for you your kid and ex#instead we get ted only deciding to leave after his mother told him his kid missed him (as if that isn't obvious) such a weak way to go-#-about it and tbh ted leaving his kid far away to go to london instead of like half an hour way is kind of stupid all round really#they wanted a mary poppins situation except mary poppins made some roots of her own and had connections so it didn'twork#yeah i am still...feeling a lot

#I got like a 78 on my midterm#and I think it was because I didn't completely read the directions which is STUPID#but also?? remembering that Caleb originally designed the Vault of Amber to carry corpses--specifically, he envisioned killing Astrid and Wulf, using their remains as stand-ins for his parents' dead bodies, and that's...a lot. But--
It was supposed to be for carrying corpses. For making them conveniently disappear. When the Nein talk about bringing Molly back to the Blooming Grove to give him a proper burial, Caleb starts ritually casting Vault of Amber. "To take him with us," he says. Because that's exactly what this spell is built for, to carry bodies. And while Molly's lying there lifeless, Caleb is right beside him, still concentrating on his spell.
I don't know. Something about how he built this portable coffin to carry his former lovers who betrayed him. Something about how he was going to keep Molly in there. Caleb still wanting to hold onto his Circus Man in some way. His magic wasn't enough to save him, but. For just a moment, he still wants to keep him close.
And then, before the spell can take hold, when he's still looking down at Mollymauk and truly believes him to be gone--miraculously, his eyes open--
#it is truly so tragic and haunting to me what his original plan was for the vault#and just. how caleb seems to feel like he had no other options--#caleb designing it specifically as his own means of changing fate and cheating death and. the notion that it was intended to hold bodies#how caleb always seems to be holding onto his loved ones when they are gone and cant bear to let them go#the fact that he as literally right beside molly still focused on his spell when this tiefling just bolts up and rUNS--#also would tealeaf survive being in the vault of amber if caleb's spell finished before the divine intervention asklsfkdgh#i think it would be cute to carry him around in a little pocket sized gem. a travel sized tief--#do you think at some point jester was like 'ya king its a good thing caduceus got the wildmother when he did because caleb almost#put you in his magic suitcase--'
