interesting that she turned down the apparent offer on the table (as per maria tikas) because she wasn't guaranteed playing time. i feel like most players at barça aren't guaranteed minutes because the coaching staff know how to rotate well and also they have SO much fucking talent (team is STACKED). logically i think the paycut was never going to be her issue, she wants to get consistent minutes before she inevitably has to retire. very lucy bronze move.

if she ends up in the nwsl i'm taking that as she's retiring at the end of that contract. she's always said she wants to do a stint in america before she retires and she doesn't think the 6 or so months or whatever she spent at unc was enough.

i'm joining almost all of aussie woso twitter in calling lucy bronze to come to the a-league. come to sydney fc lucy, you can win and have warm aussie weather. (i would like to flag sydney fc is not my team but realistically, she'll go where she can win and they win)

i'm sad that she's leaving barça still, she might not be the most consistent player on the pitch but when she shows up, she SHOWS up. and she shows up more often than not.

finally, i am actually quite upset she won't get her goodbye at johan cruyff, she really did deserve it. also the goodbye posts may break me.

Second of all, HOW DARE YOU, THAT WAS SO SAD, AMAZING, BUT INCREDIBLY SAD FOR SOMETHING THAT STARTED SO HOT. SHE JUST LEAVES????? WHY ISN'T HE RUNNING AFTER HER PROCLAIMING HIS IMMORTAL LOVE FOR HER??? It's my personal headcanon that Enzo is a light sleeper (unless he's really tired, I feel like he's the kind to get up cause there's a mosquito flying in the kitchen and he can hear it).

I thought it was gonna have a happy ending. Now I just need Enzo to go back to the club and insist, win her over, maybe get the girl some therapy, and go back to her old house and beat the crap out of her ex husband, kick him out and turn the house into a women shelter.

Well... now that you put it that way... there may be a follow up part to this, I mean, I do think he would be one to try and save her, right? It's my headcanon that he has a bit of a saviour's complex, so I may write that follow up.

it had started off small, little light touches here and there and eventually they got exactly to this point. the tension was always thick when they were in a room together and it was surprising that no one ever picked up on it. all he knew when lucia was around was that he needed to get her alone just like this. "can you blame me when you wear this?" he asked looking down at her dress that she was now pulling up. "jesus christ." he muttered under his breath as he noticed just how ready she was for him. Got hit with EW body switch feels followed by an Ardbert post, and it got me thinking. Did our head-mates come with us to the new body, or was Zenos just stuck with Ardbert (& Fray/Myste/etc.)? And if it was the latter, would they have been able to stall him a la 'I will turn this thing around so help me'?

Just, considering Zenos is... well, Zenos, especially in our body, giving us the time we were given seems like a lot unless he were being stalled somehow.

idk, I just like to think they slowed him down a bit in Ki'to's canon at least with a whole 'Who the fuck is this guy?' argument. And then he gets a weapon thrown at his head and peaces out because he ain't dealing with it anymore. I just got this idea sparked while listening to the one that got away by Katy Perry and bride or groom by India Parkman, for this Enzo x reader were best friends since like always, she fell for him, but never told him, cause she didn't wanna ruin things, they eventually stop hanging out as much cause life, and when he gets married to someone else, he asks reader to be his best woman, and it's just her regretting letting him go.... don't know if end it on a good note, with him not being able to say yes, cause of her...or leave it just in her regrets....
