Wait yall….. what if Ominis had a magic ring and didn’t use his wand if he wanted to be more relaxed.

Cause I can fucking imagine your arm can cramp by holding a wand out and up. Like if you hold a water bottle it’s not heavy, but if you hold it out for a long time? Or at the same height? Then it probably starts to hurt. And I just looked it up, cramping with a cane CAN happen. So what if he’s just going to be home for the day, and he doesn’t want his wrist to cramp, so he slips on a ring? Cause apparently in the HP world, you can use anything to cast spells, just wands are common. Although, when you are home you can walk more confidently cause the area is familiar. But! This also might be helpful in a magical world where things can be bound to change also children leaving their toys everywhere hehe.

And maybe a ring isn’t as practical for some reason in everyday magic or duels, but for Ominis it just works in a really specific situation. Maybe he might even have one already for when he’s just in his dorm for the night? It could be one that’s like his wand or he just asked Ollivander to experiment for him. Ooo if wands can be anything cause why stop at a ring? I mean a carved amulet? I mean jewelry can be made out of wood!

Like he just has both a wand and a wood jewelry piece. But, again, maybe the wearable wand just for his charm that helps him navigate? Cause ouch if expeliarmus on a bracelet-wand meant your hand got sliced right off of you, so, yeah.
