Very dumb Xiaolin Showdown AU/fic prompt where Dashi, comes back.

A new Wu reveals itself and everyone searches for it and when they activate it suddenly Dashi just appears falling over and dropping a can of soda like 'yeah that didn't go to plan may have fucked up there.... hey Dojo I got the soda' just Dashi tried experiment with Wu and fucked up and got trapped until it reactivated and then is just there chilling.

Guan shows up and is so happy his friend is alive but also... he knows Dashi.

When the next showdown happens Wuya is there and Guan is just paling like 'oh fuck' mostly everyone is confused like yeah she's Dashi's nemesis 'why are you worried with beat Wuya loads and she doesn't have all her powers it'll be fine right?' Guan just gives a pained look no idea how to explain....that.

The 2 start a showdown just them and it's banter and then Wuya getting upset 'I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD YOU BASTARD' and things start to get weird... Jack and the dragons are looking between each other like WTF...Dojo is paling as repressed memories are coming back and Chase basically teleports next to Omi covering his eyes just before Wuya and Dashi start making out.

Jack and the dragons jaws are on the ground other than Omi who has no idea what's happening because Chase is not letting his apprentice have to deal with this than you very much.

Somewhere in the distance they can hear Hannibal's cry of 'KNEW IT' Guan is signing in defeat 'Everyone knew it this isn't a surprise'. Then they realize it's not stopping. '...Dojo make the showdown stop..Dojo... DOJO'

That's the start of it slowly everyone realizes Dashi is not just a grand master dragon... he's is a fucking chaos gremlin who puts the world in danger as much as he saves it, it's no wonder he's so good at saving the world since he's always doing it cleaning up his own messes.

The whole hiding the wu they realize is less Dashi's decision and more everyone else's decision of making him put his objects of chaos out of reach, just putting his toys on the top shelf to stop him blowing up reality for 5 minutes.

All the other older monks at the temple decide to go on a long pilgrimages away form the temple and Dashi, and instead there's just Wuya chilling there they think she's moved in... no one wants to ask because that raises more questions... no one wants them answered.

Dashi's chaos is back in full swing and the next 'Ooops kick started end of the world event Chase shows up scoops up Omi like 'Not making him clean up Dashi's mess he's here he can do it himself taking my kid-I MEAN APPRENTICE home til Dashi has unfucked the universe' Fung wants to argue for a moment before taking a look at Dashi running into the vault yelling 'IT'S OK I CAN FIX THIS' while Wuya can't stop laughing and decides all the dragons can have a week or 2 at home... they've earned it.

Also as Wuya and Dashi have stopped any subterfuge and subtly and the whole good vs evil has now become more everyone vs Dashi's chaos Chase throws subtly out the window and is there with Omi like 'This is my son if anything happens to him I will destroy the world in a way not even Dashi's most powerful toys can fix'

Dashui: I TAKE THAT AS A CHALLENGE BRING IT ON CHASE

Guan:DASHI NO!

Which leads to Chase being around the temple more or taking Omi back to his palace because 'He is not a signing a permission slip for Omi to be involved in Dashi's latest shitshow' even though Omi is totally ready to jump into the portal to oblivion Dashi made to save the world'.

However, he sometimes gets sucked into saving the world (mix of Dasshi and Wuya teasing and Omi puppydog eyes)...as does Wuya because of reasons she will not say but her and Dashi are smirking at each other so no one is asking, they do NOT want to know. Which leads to them seeing the old dragons of their elements kicking ass and leads to all of the dragons starry eyed and demanding/pleading to know more moves and teach me how you did that please!!

Kimiko is borderline threatening Guan to teach her to make fire weapons like he did, Raimundo is near begging Dashi for the mountain cutting wind slash ability he used and flight ability, Omi is already being taught by Chase. Clay is trying to figure out how to get Wuya to teahc him some earth abilities.

Clay: Why did mine have to be an evil varmint

Dojo: I mean Omi's is too

Clay:...

Clay: That's is his pa Dojo

Dashi when not being a chaos gremlin is teasing all his friends, especially Guan and Chase because all this time and you 2 still aren't together .

Guan: Dashi he has tried to kill be many times

Dashi:...yeah...and?

Guan:....

Guan:I realized who I was speaking to after I said it

He also teases Guan about being a deadbeat dad and not spending time with Chase and his son, Guan is trying very hard to set his friend on fire.

Dashi has got Omi involved and Omi is so excited to have both his heroes spending time with him and neither can say no to him. Dashi and Wuya are watching all this giggling with popcorn.

Dojo: How mcuh of this is you wanting to help them and how much is just for your amusement

Dashi:... like 60, 40 split...which way i'm not to sure though.

Bonus: it is collectively agreed by everyone that Jack and Dashi can not spend time together Jack once asked about how the shen gong wu were made and about mechs and kaiju and everyone all has to drag them apart after they started talking... no one is allowed to give Dashi anymore ideas.

I just think that regardless of who he's paired with, Chase should be shorter than his partner.

Why does Omi always speak up about how they should help villains like Wuya and Jack and Ashley but he was bout to let the Bird of Paradise lady drown? (Was it because she was just that bad at singing? Because if so I can respect it, that was some noise pollution right there lmao)

Because Master Fung told them to.

Or at least, that's how Omi interpreted the direct order from Master Fung to focus on finding the Bird of Paradise and do nothing else.

Like you said, usually Omi's the first, if not only, one to say that even if they're enemies with someone, even if they're a villain who literally just robbed you or tried to kill you, they shouldn't stand by and let them die.

If someone sprains their ankle while they try to jump Omi, Omi feels obligated to nurse them back to health.

Omi usually will rush to protect of his friends, allies, enemies, even civilians.

But if [he thinks that] Master Fung wants him to leave someone for dead, Omi usually will. His adherence to that might be tested if the one in question is someone else he loves, like the other monks, or Jermaine, or Chase Young. But the old lady was a stranger, and Omi thought he had his orders. It doesn't help that, after the whole X-ing Omi arc, Omi is trying extra hard to "prove" he has a place at the temple, and this is part of that.

Omi's loyalty is fascinating, because it's not actually a loyalty to ideals, it's loyalty to his loved ones. Omi does have his own strong principles, but it just so happens that there's exactly one person who he loves enough to automatically forgo his principles and everything else for, and that's Master Fung.

Omi would quite literally kill for Master Fung. (Even if, in this case, he was misinterpreting the order.)

Another lost misadventure from 1500 years ago~!

Dashi and Guan and Chase really feel like a found family! A real team! And right after you won my heart over with how much this trio loves each other and gets along with these OG Dragon stories, you just go ahead and rip it right out along with Chase's by giving Chase a peek at how it will all fall apart sometime later! Is Chase witnessing that same scene that's in the flashblack Guan was still dwelling on in 4k in the future? That Sphinx was really twisting the knife! What a cruel hunting method! The mermaids couldn't show Chase anything at all, but the Sphinx showed Chase all the nightmares that were going to become his reality! (I'm so silly that I somehow really thought for a second that Chase was about to get eaten even though this is a prequel! 😂😂😂)

But Chase and Guan's conversation bandaided my heart back together! I can really see how they become good enough friends that Hannibal's going to go on to describe them as "the one they consider closest". This Sphinx encounter was sort of like a proto-Hannibal encounter if I think about it that way!

If only this warning could have helped them avert the sad future… 😢😭

But yay for those Wuya x Dashi hints though! I wonder if Dashi's met her yet by this point~ 💌

Welp! Anyway! If their grumpy master won't say it I will: Mission accomplished, well done Chase and Dashi and Guan!

I honestly have so much fun writing these Dashi Trio misadventures! There is just so much to play with when it comes to them and so many years to fill in! Not to mention that I really enjoy their dynamic together.

But yaaaa, forcing Chase to face his future was fun~ and if he wasn’t so confident in his friendships I can’t say that he wouldn’t have gone the Omi route and does a ‘long walk of no return’. Lucky for Chase he knows he would never betray his friends and they would never betray him!!

Right?

[but ya…definitely a pre-cursor to Hannibal. If only Chase had listened. A lot can change in ten years time and, well, when Chase finally does meet Hannibal a lot has changed. His foundations aren’t quite as solid as they were in this battle]

As for Dashi and Wuya, I don’t think he has but it is something that is about to happen in the immediate future. Like, next mission kind of immediate. The count down is well under way and then all hell gets to truly break loose~

Another very silly XS AU/fic prompt where the next level the Monks have to ascend to they need more control over their elements. Then Chase shows up at the temple and says he's going to be training Omi after all he's the most qualified.

The monks are of course confused (And Omi's case trying very hard to get exited) like WTF your heylin prince of darkness why would ever let you train Omi. Cue Chase giving them blank look and then very clearly controlling the fountain of water.

The monks jaws are on the floor (Omi has actual stars in his eyes) and Chase just realizes an eyebrow like 'Did no one tell you who the previous dragons were?' and then gives Dojo a pointed look.

Cue Rai, Kimiko and Clay descending on Dojo as they now have so many questions.

Master Fung can't deny that technically at this stage of their growth the monks can/ have previously been taught by previous dragons of their element so technically Chase can train Omi... he wants to say no but Omi now he's given permission to actual train with Chase is literally running in circles squealing with joy. (Master Fung thinks that they really should have revised the rules to say they can't be trained by them if said previous dragon is now on the heylin side)

Of course the other monks get the full story on who the previous Dragons of their element were which leads to Kimiko trying to track down Guan for training. Raimundo trying to get more stories about Dashi or find out more about him/ ask Dojo about how Dashi trained or if there are any talk to the dead Wu?

That leaves Clay, who ends up showing at Jack's lab awkwardly asking to talk to Wuya (She left Chase's palace because it's just him and Omi all the time now and she was getting a migraine listening to them calling out fighting moves or their weird mind game). Jack is very confused and even more so when he finds out she was the past dragon of earth. Wuya is just staring at them like 'My servants are giant stone golems... I wasn't exactly subtle' .

She refuses to help Clay, but Jack decides to help because 1)he wants to know how xaiolin magic works if he can reverse engineer it 2) Clay will him a favor and 3) It's gonna annoy/he can mess with Wuya. So Jack mind games/reverse psychologys her in rambling about her powers/the past.

Clay and Jack are just there mostly eating popcorn listening about earth powers and getting way to emotionally invested in her stories about her and Dashi (Wuya doesn't realize she's telling a tragic romance story but Jack and Clay do and they are invested)

Dojo and Rai come to pick Clay up walk into the lab to see Clay and Jack sobbing and Wuya just talking mostly to herself about something , Dojo and Rai exchange a look and slowly back away they don't want to know.

Eventually Wuya starts showing techniques and teaching Clay and Jack mostly because she sees Clay try and 'no that's not how toy do it idiot just watch'

(Wuya doesn't realize she's technically training 2 xiaolin dragons earth and metal are very close)

Jack does use his favor next showdown he gets the Wu is challenged by one of the other monks and Jack just goes 'Oh this showdowns going to 2 v 2' and asks Clay to help him, this ends up happening a lot mostly because once they do this Chase realize he can do this with Omi and suddenly Chase is going for all the Wu as a chance for him and Omi to fight together.

Clay and Jack actually fight really well together and have bonded a lot, Wuya it just watching these 2 slowly go into full crush mode over each other and eating her own popcorn.
