he has dyslexia which is a big part of why he doesn't like to read

he can tan rlly nice during summer but he always wears sunscreen so he doesn't end up damaging his skin lmao

he has done theater!! probably only like small community plays or school plays but he really enjoyed it

also he absolutely cries at cast parties, he just gets so attached <3

cannot do ANY task without listening to music and/or singing at the top of his lungs. he's physically incapable of it

HATES silence. his ass cannot be in a quiet room

undiagnosed autistic and adhd. he's hyperverbal and hyperactive

can actually do makeup surprisingly well. lots of stage performances have taught him how

For your consideration: end of the series. Happy ending for everyone. Chase introduces Nox to reality TV, in particular dating shows. At first, he's skeptical and not really into it.

That lasts for like, an hour. He starts ranting about So-and-So being a piece of work and about That Couple™️ that shouldn't be one, but is. Chase is delighted. Nox has to go outside and reconnect with nature in order not to flip a table, at one point. As the program ends he's stroking Chase's hair and they're both dozing off and he's secretely had his fun- but he won't admit it out loud.

(Bonus if Deacon enjoys period piece dramas but he has to take a break from them because both him and everyone else is kinda burnt out from going into stories, so he joins the reality TV fun sometimes. He's NOT amused. But he also joins in with the other two on the sassing the people on the screen.)

((Prunella bullies them into watching documentaries about maybe the return of dinosaurs, somewhere down the line. Deacon is impressed by how quickly she manages to take notes; he's more of a slow writer. Chase is being whiny about them interrupting "date night". He's acting lowkey pathetic so Prunella throws a cheese pretzel at him. Nox makes fun of him for it. ))

ANYWAY MY CINDERELLA BOY HEAD CANONS!

Chase: Chase is the type of person who is definitely comes off an air head, but when he wants info, ooooh can he can ALL of the deets. Because people view him as an airhead he uses this to his advantage. He’ll play dumb and ask subtle questions. He gets along with most people so he’s going around and hearing ALL sides of the drama. He knows why Josh and Becky broke things off, he knows Barbra is secretly cheating in bio class, he knows that Jesse and Claire have been skipping classes the past seven weeks. He is very intuitive and socially adept, so he is able to pick up on even the most subtle things. I think more often than not he doesn’t care enough to cause a scene or pry more than necessary lmao.

Deacon: I’m so gonna get killed for this, but Deacon has ZERO dating experience. This man hasn’t been kissed, hasn’t held hands, hell he’s never been on a date. Despite the fact he’s totally a dork who gets so anxious he can’t say anything other than “I…um…I..I” while blushing like a red hot tomato when talking to a girl a lot of it also has to do with his mom who is a complete control freak and never let him date anyone. Ever. Cause “your studies come first.” So in all of Deacon’s twenty years of life he’s never been able to have any sort of swoon worthy, romantic encounter. Sorry Deacon, maybe next time…

Buddy: Despite the in-depth character analysis I have for Buddy in my head that I will have to share another time, I definitely think Buddy is 1000% that guy. I know there are loads of different theories as to how Buddy knows the entirety of the plot of every book they enter but my crack headcanon is Buddy is just that guy. Everyone knows that one person who somehow always guesses the plot twist, always knows who the murderer is, always knows who is going to die, is able to predict the entire plot within the first three pages. Buddy isn’t using any kind of dark Ex-Libris magic he has been doing this for so long and he’s so intuitive that he already knows what the plot is. No fancy notes, no magic, no key telling him what’s about to happen. None of that. He does the books based on pure intuition and previous experience.

(This name is kind of a joke but also not really. I saw a post by the creator about how all the servants were named Trevor no matter what they did for a living and I found that a little funny. I used that idea for a key that was copied into many keys so that random members of Ex Libris could walk around in the story without any real hassle and spy on anyone with a main key to make sure they were doing their job properly. It’s a blank key with no little person but it’s still named the “Trevor” key by low ranking members as an inside joke. I then saw a post here on tumblr about different possible roles for the keys, saw Everyman role, and was like as a joke, Trevor should be the name of that key too. Anyways, still going to keep my original idea for Trevor because I kind of got maybe two fics that involve the blank keys but I wanted to share my thoughts on possibly names/Key roles)

I will add more keys as we learn of them/come up with them and update any information. Comment whatever Key roles/names so that I can add them as well. I want to add personalities to them too but I’m bad at describing them so also comment that if you want to.

Cinderella Boy Headcanon #1

Chase has undiagnosed Dyslexia.

One thing about me: I hate driving because I kind of suck at it and I'm a really anxious person.

One thing about Chase: we have been told he canonically has a driver's licence in the Beach Boys arc. What kind of driver do we think he is?

Personally, I like to think he's good enough, and that he likes it too, but of course he doesn't have that much practice because he cannot exactly afford a car of his own. I'd imagine him to be somebody who despises traffic (and I mean, who doesn't? In my head he gets loudly pissy about it though) and that he suffers from road rage at times. But I also think he tends to forget a few road signs and the thing frustrates him. Also, he likes speed and he doesn't mind driving alone.

On the other side of the spectrum, I like to think Deacon either doesn't have a license and that he's pretty insecure about it, because his parents are sort of silently but surely disappointed and judgy about it, or he has a license but if somebody's not there to give him instructions or moral support he starts to spiral a bit. Just because I love him and I love to project onto him even more. But I think he knows the rules of the road like the back of his hand.
