Seriously though, while not a physical disability, I headcanon that Chase has generalized anxiety and deals with insomnia, turning him into a massive night owl.

What are some of your more self-indulgent headcanons?

jackie being trans and autistic is entirely self indulgent/projection, but jackie as a whole is just a bunch of self projection wrapped up into a super hero present sdjkfhkjs

i've talked about it a bunch but jackie being a trans man was something i found and stuck with as i was figuring out my own gender, which unfortunately was around the height of the "hate all men"... movement? whatever it was, it didn't help me and left me stuck with picking genders that were never quite right.

but i dunno, it's really silly, but seeing a character i really liked that was also a beacon of good also be depicted as a trans man really helped me accept that it was okay for me to be the same.

the autism bit is just for the self projection sillies :3

focusing away from jackie - cuz you've gone and got me on a headcanon rant - chase, bing, and stacy all knowing how to skateboard are pretty self indulgent as well, i wanna learn how to skateboard one day. no fancy tricks, just to be able to get on the board and ride.

.One of Jackie's and JJ's cgs

.Jackie calls him Papa

.In a queer platonic relationship with Marvin

.Calls Jackie Little Man and JJ Dapper Dan

.He physically cannot be the stern one.  The Littles give him puppy dog eyes and he melts every time

.Having the Little around has actually helped with his mental health.  He's even been allowed to visit his own kids!

.Whenever Jackie comes over with a knew scrape or cut, he puts on a mock serious face and (in his best doctor voice that he got from watching House MD multiple times on repaeat) goes "what's the damage?" Upon which Jackie will giggle and request the superhero of the day. 

.Absolutely spoils his boys (in both affection and gifts)

.Whenever JJ wants to have a tea party, he'll let the little dress him up in all sorts of crazy outfits.  Anything to make the baby smile. He even makes some tea before hand (with the help of marvin) so it's cool enough for the baby to drink out of his special tea party bottle

Marvin:

.Laid back mostly, but has to be the stern one in their little family

.Uses his magic mostly to intertain the Littles, but he has been known to use his magic to drag Jackie into the tub. 

.Despite being the "iron" firs tof the family, the iron is more like brittle chocolate made to look like iron.  He'll do anything to see his boys happy.

.He has a strong distrust of Anti.  But, he trusts Henrik.  So, for now, he'll allow Anti to have playdates with Jackie.  But he'll be keeping an eye on him.

.Loves to play pretend with the kiddos.  The get the dress up trunk out and (ever the creative souls) he and Jackie will come up with stories for the two, three, or four of them to play together

.he makes pretend better by making illusions for the kids.

Henrik:

.He is the cg of Anti

.Possibly the only one who can handle Anti

.Gentle parent with a stern voice.

.His favorite show that Anti watches is Doc Mcstuffins.  He regularly sits down with the toddler to watch it.

.He tries to find better ways to let Anti vent his more destructive tendencies, like tearing paper into shapes or eating cherry jello with his fingers

.Has a tendency to mutter to himself in German while getting a sleepy toddler either down for a nap or up from one.

.He hardly ever looses his temper with the little, even when he's throwing a tantrum.  He just makes sure there's nothing around the little could use to hurt himself or others, let's him scream it out, then scoops him in his arms so they can talk about it.  This almost always ends up in the toddler falling asleep against him, having tired himself out both from the tantrum, and the big talk afterwards.

.He loves to spend time with Anti.  Whether that be reading, playing, teaching him things, or watching TV together.

LITTLES

Jackie

.One of Marvin and Chase's Littles

.Usually sits at around 4-6 years old

.He always has scraped knees and elbows, but he almost never cries.  Just runs over to his Dada and Papa with a big grin asking for a superhero bandaid.

.He adores his baby brother, and does everything he can to help with him (even at the expense of his parents.  They never stay mad at him though, since he was trying to help).

.Hates getting into the tub, hates getting out of the tub. 

.Tends to forget to pick up his toys, but his cgs are there to help him out.

.A very affectionate little boy. 

.He and Anti don't really get along, but not for his lack of trying!  (And he will continue to try until the toddler likes him!)

.He loves playing pretend! He normally plays a super hero (because they're the coolest), but sometimes he'll be the knight. Or, if JJ wants to be the knight, he'll be the princess!

Anti:

.Henrik's little, Calls him Vatti

.Usually sits around 2-3 years old

.Likes to cause problems on purpose, especially at the expense of others. 

.He's mischievous by nature.

.Add in teolportatiin powers and you've got a recipe for disaster.

.At first, he tried to push Henrik away by being extra mean to him, but the doctor didn't budge. 

.He has so many dark, menacing, and down right unsettling toys.  But his favorite is his Lambie plushy from Doc McStuffins. 

.If he looses her, he wails and the meanness crumbles and he wails until his Vatti gives him Lambie and lots of hugs.

.affectionate to one (1) person, and that person is Henrik.

.Jackie's cheerful energy and warm personality unnerve him, so he plays extra pranks on him.

.He likes squishing jello between his fingers, but he hates the clean up that happens afterward. 

.Throws tantrums.  Henrik just let's him get it all out before going to talk calmly with the little.

JJ:

.Chase and Marvin's youngest little

.usually around 0-1 year old

.he doesn't talk.  Usually opting to make graby hands or pat his cgs when he wants attention or wants something. 

.depending on where his headspace falls, he'll sometimes sign what he wants.  .Absolutely adores his baby dolls.  He likes to push them around in the little carriage.  It's a great way for him to get exercise.  She put him infront of the carraige and hand him a baby and he's entertained for hours

.loves bath time!  He likes splashing around in the water (bonus points for the fact he isnt the one who has to clean the bathroom after bath time)

.he doesn't throw tantrums.  Instead, he hiccups and cries (though, this is fairly uncommon.  He's usually pretty happy).

3. In my little cluster of @jsehungergamesau brain rot that followed into personal headcanons and other AUs- Chase and Stacy have a daughter named Willow! The name was Chase's idea because he wanted their kid to be named after one of his favorite trees while keeping it gender neutral! He didn't know what they were gonna grow up to be! He wanted to be inclusive. c:

5. That they either met in highschool or college! If in highschool, they were sweethearts since their Sophomore year and they both met while being on the Track Team together (Chase did sprints and Stacy did pole-vault)! If in college, then they met up at a frat party and connected after hooking up (Chase studied film and Stacy studied business)

9. ABSOLUTELY I DO!!! Chase is a freshly discovered Enby who is trying out He/They pronouns and he's bisexual! And Stacy is more bi-curious but prefers men. Total bi-cons back before the divorce.

10. I like to write their divorce in a few different ways. Messy and hate-filled break ups are fun to write to whump scenarios, but I also enjoy the idea of them being co-parents. Where yeah maybe the divorce proceedings were super intense and kinda messy for everyone involved, but at the end of the day they figure their shit out for their daughter and Chase gets to have her over almost every weekend and certain holidays. While they don't really communicate outside of scheduling and birthday phone calls, Chase and Stacy still care about each other, to a degree. Its just they grew apart as people and their hearts went somewhere else, and they're both happier for it! Because is about 2 when they get divorced, she just sees it as normal. Getting spoiled rotten and all.

Some HCs for Sammy Brody (Chase's kid) :3!!

(we're living under delusion here where everything is fine and nothing bad happened to anyone)

-currently Sammy is 9!

- Stacy is "Mam", Chase "Dad" and Henrik is "Pa"

-She uses she/her but hasn't thought about it so doesn't mind too much

-Super outdoorsy, she loves animals and the woods! (Stacy, Chase and Henrik have spent god knows how long trying to make sure she's safe while she's constantly running towards very not safe animals)

-She looks fairly similar to both Stacy and Chase, but most notably is that she got Stacy's hair and Chase's freckles

-She is probably what would be considered a "weird kid" with her lack of fear surrounding bugs and generally creepy stuff, while also leaning towards being a bit more stereotypically masculine (she does like ""girly"" things like dolls and sewing and shit- she just currently seems to present more masculine most of the time)

-She thinks of Jackie and Marvin as her uncles. Jackie is probably the throuples best babysitter (Marvin is not but he makes an exception for Sammy specifically because she drew him a nice picture and also told them that his hair is nice)

-practically begged to have her hair dyed "like mam's is" and Stacy had to painfully explain how she couldn't because of school rules- which led to a very genuine conversation about how school doesn't always have the best idea for every kid unfortunately

-they did make the promise that as soon as they left highschool their graduation gift would be to have their hair properly dyed

-Sammy absolutely adores all kinds of art and is always super excited when they find a new thing to do with art (Chase loves showing her concept art for his favourite games and Stacy loves showing her art such as nail design, tattoos fashion etc. Henrik takes her to art museums and galleries that have new art come in fairly regularly, there's one they always go too on the weekends for their kids interactive areas but Henrik always keeps an eye out for something she might like).

- like 99% of kids Sammy BEGGED for a pet. Except she really really wanted a pet tarantula. It took. A lot of convincing. But eventually they got her one (and much to everyone's surprise it's not as terrifying, especially when you have a 9 year old telling all the cool things about it)

- the tarantulas name is Jonathan btw. No one knows why but that's what Sammy insisted on.

- her favourite colour is purple and her favourite dinosaur is the Raptors (specifically the ones from the original Jurassic Park film)

- Chase (the absolute nerd he is) basically started showing her as many films he grew up with as soon as she was capable of seeing shapes basically. (This consists of everything between Jurassic Park, Alien, Indiana Jones, the original Star Wars Films, The Shining, etc) ((Chase Brody is a film nerd and I stand by that))

-Sammy also really likes animation! Her current favourite show is The Owl House and she relates to Luz a lot!!!

-She also loves Halloween! It's her favourite holiday! She isn't sure why her dad's seem upset around that time of year though, but Stacy takes her out trick or treating and she always has the best costumes!!!

Ego Headcanons: The Septics

Septic House is the home to Seán McLoughlin’s egos, the Septics.

Anti(he/it): agender glitchy boi. After discovering that he can’t actually kill anyone as they’ll just regenerate, he became more of an annoyance. Enjoys scaring the shit out of people(the Septics are fairly immune to the scares though now). It doesn’t have an actual bedroom and ended up living in a computer in Chase’s room instead. Can switch between appearances (green or red), preferring to stay green most of the time. - Power: can teleport through any electronic device(even power cords).

Jackieboyman-Jackie(he/him): trans bi hero boy. Surprisingly the closest friend to Anti, treating it like an irritable cat. Goes on patrols nearly every night. Ends up visiting Henrik’s clinic a lot. Appears to be 19-20. - Powers: durable to the point he thinks he’s invincible(Henrik is very annoyed by this), just above average physical abilities.

Henrik von Schneeplestein(he/him): ally and designated dad/head of Septic House. Works at the local clinic. Can and will ground the other Septics. While close to all of his family, he treats Jackie like his son. Is physically the oldest of the bunch. - Powers: can speed up the recovery time of someone who is fatally wounded to keep them alive.

Chase Brody(he/him): ally. Depressed, loyal puppy dog of a man. Often acts as Jackie’s ‘man in the chair’. Sibling type rivalry with Anti in that he actively downloads virus’s on the glitch’s computer to fuck with him. Often pranks the others (ie. Switching up the spoons and forks, putting all the mugs on the lawn, ect.) - Powers: can manipulate the odds of something happening.

Jameson Jackson-JJ(he/him): cis aroace and selectively mute. Uses BSL but also has a small chalkboard to communicate with others. When he does speak it’s usually just to Robbie. Very good at arts and crafts. Is usually the one to make meals because he enjoys the methodical nature of preparing food. Is not greyscale, but appears to be on any type of recording/photo. - Powers: has marionette strings which he uses as a type of telekinesis.

Marvin(he/they): gay ace demiboy who can turn into a cat. Has actual magic and often uses it to help Chase with the larger pranks. Older brother type. Fairly responsible and usually in charge when Henrik is at work. Tends to turn into a cat when tired. He has a cat tree in his room. Loves chasing after laser lights to entertain Robbie. Will sometimes go on patrol with Jackie. Probably a criminal but they’re not telling anyone where the valuable crystals came from. - Powers: actual magic (akin to Merlin)

Robbie(he/him): zombie boy and designated youngest brother. Mostly hangs around JJ. He communicates almost solely through BSL. Is literally just a reanimated corpse and has no desire to eat brains. He does really like spaghetti though. Has many bandages due to his extremely slow healing combined with his lack of fine motor skills. -Powers: uncertain(Marvin suspects he’s a low level empath).

What do the boys get up to? like what’s a typical day at school like? Or a sleepover? Or… idk just fun kid things?

typical day at school is a typical day at school tbh. although chase would try to get jackie to skip some classes with him (mostly math and science), but it never worked. on both their ends actually, cuz jackie usually talked chase out of it (there was only once or twice he wasn't able to)

after school was always them hanging out at one of their houses before dinner, and it helped that they lived within a reasonable walking distance of each other. i probably mentioned before but after school hangouts just consisted of jackie doing homework while chase played video games. sometimes jackie could rope chase into doing his homework then instead of last minute like he usually did.

sleepovers were a very common occurrence, especially over the weekends! the other's home was basically a second home for them, they could walk in whenever and always be welcomed. sleepovers (and honestly just hangouts in general) were more common at jackie's house though since he was an only child, and chase had two younger siblings that would always try to drag jackie away to play. and jackie was always too nice to say "no".

in terms of just normal activities they did, there was a semi old playground near that school that they liked to hangout at. the playground never had... any kids honestly, it kinda just turned into a teenager hangout over the years (and even then there were rarely any teenagers hanging there). but "hanging out at the playground" usually turned into jackie babysitting chase to make sure he didn't jump off the slide and break his legs. chase was a super reckless kid/teen-
