Did Hermes steal them to be a cheeky bastard and got them fitted and put them on for the jokes? Did he start wearing them apropos of nothing? Just happen to start accessorizing like his professional associate? Is it part of a shared uniform? Can we see the employee handbook?

Did Charon go out and get rings commissioned to look exactly like his for not one, but two of his partner in crimes' fingers, slide each lovingly onto Hermes' corresponding digits, and then gently hold his now bejeweled hands in his own to see how they match, knowing Hermes will now carry something of Charon with him when he leaves him for his dangerous work?

They are all incredible clever and cunning apart, but the moment they're together they just radiate "chaos and dumbassery" energy. Thalia and Nico bet that Percy can't make a whirlpool in the underworld rivers and he drowns Charon's ship for a bit.

Absolutely!

☆Originally, Bonnie was just supposed to borrow the contract and Charon's services to help her find her grandma Agatha's violin. Making a plan with Ahzrukhal to return them both back, which clearly did not go as planned with Charon shooting the shit out of the bastard bartender and traumatising the woman.

☆ Bonnie was terrified of Charon for a very long time during the start of their travels together, stressing in her mind that she would suffer the same fate as Ahzrukhal if she even thought about getting rid of his contract.

☆ At the beginning Charon thought her as nothing more than a snivelling, stupid scavenger that looked like she was going to burst into tears if he just looked her way, which he wasn't too far off as she got nervous and upset whenever he did look at her for long periods of time. He starts to gain respect and feelings for her over a long period of time as events occur.

☆ He may grumble and hates how every place they enter has something trying to eat them or shoot at them, Charon starts to love the travelling they do and having zero responsibilities other than keeping a single small lady holding his contract alive.

☆ Despite being scared of him at the beginning, Bonnie still felt obligated to make sure he rested and ate. It took a while for him to accept her offers of taking nightly watch and taking the foods she made.

☆ Charon had to teach Bonnie how to properly use a fire arm, the large ghoul actually ended up enjoying teaching someone a skill and have them actually learn and listen.

☆ Both Charon and Bonnie hate bugs, are grossed out by them and it ends up in an argument on who should deal with them. Bonnie has a crippling fear towards Centaurs though, which Charon is more than happy to deal with them.

☆ Charon enjoys making sassy comments at Bonnie about things she does, says or wears, especially when she learned to shoot back at him with her own snark. Finding her getting flustered when she's trying to one up him amusing. See's it as their little thing, gets peeved and defensive when anyone else tries to join in.

☆ Romance does eventually happen with the two, but not until a few years have passed, between that the two have relations with others.

☆ Bonnie has had relationships, though very short at times, before and Charon won't be her first Ghoul.

It’s me putting all my analysis works (on my main) into a fic! All of the knowledge I’ve acquired and all the theories I’ve conducted and all the character analysis I’ve written are finally being written and laid out!! So excited to finish it heeheheeheh ^_^

So basically it’s like a High Table prequel, and it starts off with Gianna and Santino (Gianna mostly because I’ve decided Santino has had too much time in the spotlight) and then eventually it branches out to people like Charon, John, Helen, Adjudicator, Harbinger, Viggo, Marcus and of course— Marquis.

I’ve decided to fully delve into my more “artistic” kind of writing style in which I write it flowery, and of course with symbolism and distinct imagery (which I unknowingly copied off of @thewhumpcaretaker HAHA i stole ur writing style you can’t have it back >:) /j)

I can give a small snippet right now

AT THE BASE of everything that makes a person a human, they are an animal.

The illusion of it is the belief that humans aren’t animalistic. Gianna thinks otherwise. She has seen the ends of both sides; her as an animal and others as animals— ripping away flesh with bare hands and teeth sunk, grasping onto the thin thread of power. That’s the life philosophy that Gianna and Santino were both destined to learn and uphold.

I’m trying to put all my knowledge of the mafia/crime itself, human nature, and some other John Wick lore

Of course, it’s a multi-protagonist thing. Sort of like Arcane, but of course with a clear protagonist duo which would be Gianna and Santino.

I want to write it, I want it for people to read so they can find it both entertaining and in a way, insightful!

Can’t say when I would release the first chapter since I like to write three chapters before releasing the other one

You were an extremely beautiful woman.

Lovely as roses, smile as bright and warm as the sun, eyes shining like jewels – so beautiful, so lovely. Eliot himself had fallen at first sight, but it was a puppy crush then. And well, four years later, and two weeks after returning from the campaign, he’s proud and grateful to call himself your fiancé.

But when he did return, something was amiss.

You were clingier than usual, more openly affectionate. One would think it would only be natural, considering he was away for three years, his life on the line and survival uncertain. It was added to the mix, yes, but it didn’t take him long to realize you were making a show of it; at first, he thought you were marking him in a way, telling every young woman that he was off the market. He was wrong, apparently.

For a week after his much-wanted return, you had told him in bed, naked form cuddled into his chest.

“Men kept proposing to me after you left.”

His fingers brushed against your shoulders, your hair tickling his chin. Eliot hums in response, grip on you becoming a bit tighter. He kisses the crown of your head, loving the way you nuzzled deeper into the crook of his neck, hands sprayed across his bare chest. He should have known as much.

You were a beautiful woman, extremely so.

It would only make sense that others would take the chance presented before them. Of course, they would never have dared to act in such a way. But with him gone, on a dangerous mission at that, uncertain if he would return alive or not…

Of course, they would target you. Why would they not? A pretty lady would mourn her fiancé’s death at any given moment. Waiting for his return, and even if he made it back alive, who’s to say that he didn’t find another lover on the trip? Or if he lost a limb or two? Became a different person, harsh and rash instead of the gentle giant?

They probably told you those things. Said how you can’t live without a husband, and what good is a woman if she is unwed? Unless you’re a high-ranking servant, or a servant in general, how could you make a proper living?

They told you things like that, didn’t they?

“I see. I assume they did not give up easily?”

“Mm, they kept harassing me to say yes. They were practically buzzing flies and annoying dogs… hounding me like that…” you throw a leg over his, skin as smooth as he remembered. And between your thighs was a mess – a claim, of sorts. Something you had begged for. Maybe it was the events that went on for three years that made you beg for it, reckless and yet, he was too.

He just missed you so much.

“Majority of the other women were left alone, even though it was their husbands and fiancés who left for The Campaign as well.”

The annoyance was starting to burn hotter in his chest. “Did they get physical?” Eliot holds you closer to him, tighter if possible. When you shake your head ‘no,’ his fingers slowly loosen their hold on you. He closes his eyes, kisses your forehead, threading his fingers through your hair. “That’s good,” he says, letting out a sigh.

“I just don’t understand why they were so… persistent. Every day, a new one would come, and every week I had to shoo them away. I just don’t understand why me, and why they leaped at the… ‘opporuinty’ once you left.”

Oh, if only you knew…

Instead of saying it – he plans to, tomorrow – Eliot raises, supporting himself on his arms, palms pressed against the bed. And when you look up at him with those eyes and kiss-swollen lips, who can blame him for starting another round?

Might as well make them hear who you crave and love.

Though from time to time, the male's kisses would have a teasing edge to it, purposely having his warm lips staying on your skin longer than they should which ends you being a blushing mess, much to his delight "Don't fret, my darling...I am only expressing my love for you, that's all..."

He most certainly does not. He deserves to be angrily beset by the big spooky boatman selling goods outside the arena who won't talk to him or fuck fight him, no matter how many times he offers.

Like they have to have met in canon at some point, and given Theseus' angry attitude towards the foul and his "'appreciation"' for the strong and big, I have to assume he has thoughts about Charon. And there is nothing funnier to me than the idea of the underworld's most self-important pompous muscle head not wanting to admit to wanting to get railed into the next life by the skull faced man so so bad that it's making him stupid... and then Charon just doesn't even acknowledge his presence. Charons got other shit to think about: ferrying the dead, gold, Hermes, selling goods, smuggling nectar, Hermes, Nyx, his brothers, Zagreus and his whole deal, Skelly I guess, Hermes...

Oh look the blonde guy is back. He's saying something about Charon being awful, disturbing, captivatingly frightening or whatever. Does he have money? No? Who cares. Charon goes back to his paying customers and continues to think about what Hermes is doing, when is he coming back, will he give Charon a little kissy, just a little smoocherino on his cheek-

Because I already answered my favorite songs from Hades, I figured I'd tell you my favorite music that doesn't have lyrics!!

When I first started playing the game, I always stopped in Charon's chamber and listened to that soundtrack.

The game can get pretty hectic, especially in the beginning, and if you're used to cozy games like me, haha!

So listening to Charon's chill and peaceful song calmed me down a bit!

It really helped before the Meg fight!

Considering that Minos and Sisyphus are transplants from Greek Mythology, does their prior experiences with the Greek gods and their capricious natures effect the way they perceive the Father and his angels? I would think that Minos would have some reason to not fully believe that the Father was as all merciful as the angels in hell made him out to be, considering the state of hell (which would have supplanted the Greek version of the underworld) and his own experiences with Zeus, his biological father and king of Gods who did everything wrong.

I wonder if Minos ever suspected that God was just Zeus going through a mid-life crisis and trying to reinvent himself. Considering Zeus had a habit of knocking up married women, he probably saw everything with Mary as a point in favour to this theory. The greeks also had the cycle where the king god gets killed by their son so he probably expected that God for a long time prior.

YEA REALLY - i actually do find it very interesting to like. mix up all these mythologies and have them not totally disconnected from one another. minos and sisyphus both know well that the gods they believed in were capricious and temperamental, rather seeing them as extreme examples of humanity than some unachievable ideal high above themselves. and with the proof that this system seems to most closely resemble the christian beliefs, that doesn't at all preclude this god from being one they knew as well. if he has always been here and acted upon humanity, they just knew him by a different name and took his acts as much lesser than christian adherents. he has his overwhelming power, he can perform miracles and exists beyond their reckoning, but he is FAR from perfection, and i really like the idea that minos is like. you know he's lying right. like you know he makes stuff up constantly and is always reinventing himself. (and as an aside, hilarious tho to think of him trying to convince gabriel of his own originals, in the gentlest way possible) the angels stay staunch in their denial of these claims in general of course, asserting these are simply myths spawned from their own evil and ignorance - gabriel, in particular to minos, refutes his words as mere projection to absolve lust. yet they think their understanding of events explains much more including that argument, that god is powerful but imperfect, that god's flaws are actually reflected in humanity rather than sin being a human failing. and he is punishing them for his own inherent issues. sins of the father, isn't it
