• You both met when he visited the Hazbin Hotel. You actually met him as he was leaving and you were heading back to the hotel with some supplies you were buying. You were more than a little surprised by the carnage that had occurred while you were gone... However, you noticed Lucifer, and decided you might as well say hello.

• He's surprised by how polite you are compared to, say, Alastor. You talk for a bit, before you let him go back to his place. The first thing that you end up telling Charlie, once you talk to her, is pretty simple! "Your dad is adorable-"

• Thus begins your flirtation, whenever he is around. However, you do try to make sure he's not uncomfortable with it, to you keep it very low-key at first. The most you'll do is wave to him, saying "Hey, pookie!" as a greeting. He's probably a bit confused, at first, but shrugs it off.

• A bit confused means very confused, in this case. Especially when he notices Charlie looking embarrassed by it. Sure, he's heard pookie used romantically, but he's also heard it used platonically, so the fact that you're flirting hasn't hit him... yet.

• You both become friends rather quickly, sharing a love of things you find cute, like rubber ducks, Razzle and Dazzle, and Keke. You decide that, since you've become such good friends, it's time to up the ante a bit. You are now more prone to waving him over, saying things like "Hey there, sweetie!" or "Pookie bear, look what I've found!"

• It's at this point, he feels he's getting the hint. You're definitely flirting, in your own way. He likes you back, yes... However, he doesn't want to ruin such a good friendship. That, and he wants to be sure you like him for him, and not his looks. So, he starts waiting for you to show signs that you truly like him outside of flirtation - things that have more of a meaning than that, or cliche love tropes.

• And he gets that sign. One day, you come running up to him, holding what looks to be a rubber duck. "Pookie! Look! I found a duckling!" "Oh, that's such a cute little thing-" "quack" Oh, it's not a rubber duck... It's a real, living, breathing duckling. He's rather impressed by the fact that you found one in Hell, of all places. HISTORY

Charlotte had always felt protective and maternal, especially as they grew up amongst the Crescents during the Crescent curse, their parents forced to live their days as wolves with one night every month, the full moon, to be with their children in human form. Unfortunately in Charlie’s teen years, the strain of feeling like she held the weight of the world on her shoulders as she tried to navigate who she was while also ensuring that her siblings were safe and cared for, her growing aggression and temper tended to get the better of her and always somehow found herself in fights with the other untriggered teens. Around this time, however, Charlie found herself falling in love. It was a whirlwind kind of relationship, one that made Charlotte feel more alive than ever, more carefree and making riskier choices than she used to. Thus resulting in her getting pregnant. The first year with her son was amazing. The new parents doting over the little boy until they found out that she had fallen pregnant once more, this time a set of twins. Her partner became distant and was in and out of her and their kids lives. The anger that boiled within her as the realization that she was now a single mother to 3 children under the age of 3 while still being somewhat of a child herself had increased the level of stress that she had already been feeling. It didn’t take long for someone to push her buttons to far before she ended up in another fight this time her aggression far too much for her to control thus resulting in Charlie’s triggering of her gene at the age of 21, leaving her children to be cared for by the untriggered wolves. It would be 2 years before Hayley Marshall would come along and have the curse broken, allowing Tara to reunite with her now 3 and 4 year old children. Fast forward to now and Charlie had quickly gotten her life together, her main focus on her children and providing for them, put herself through university online while working a full-time job from home and caring for her children, attending the police academy and working her way up in rank to where she is today with the help of her pack.

However, after understanding the resentment that Langres has for his family and how her depressed mother didn’t immediately forgive her boyfriend and want no contact with her toxic family, Honeycrisp no longer believes this. Recently, she started to regret how she treated her albino cousin.

About: Honeycrisp is the daughter of the ninth son of the Charlotte Family, Gala, and his wife, Snapple. She is also the older sister of Cortland and Elstar. She met Trigger when he stole one of her pies because he was hungry. In response, she made him non-alcoholic apple cider and apple dumplings. Days after meeting Honeycrisp, Trigger shot her mother on her spine and leg after the latter, thinking he was an intruder, aimed a shotgun at him, causing her to have extreme back pain, difficulties walking, and unable to work and do her hobbies. This caused Snapple, who has postpartum depression, to seclude in her room and had to take several surgeries. Snapple strongly disapproved of the relationship and refused to let Trigger into the house. Honeycrisp snapped at her mother, calling her “cold-hearted” for not forgiving him like how she cut all contact with her family as soon as she got married. Gala quickly got Honeycrisp out of the room as Snapple cried. He then explained that she shouldn’t forced her mother to forgive before she is ready and told her the reasons why Snapple cut contact with her family, who is very cruel, abusive, and toxic. He also points out how Honeycrisp herself is unnecessarily cruel to Langres, solely because of his appearance, yet surprised that he isn’t forgiving towards her despite her never apologizing to him. The young girl realized this and went back to her mother to apologize. Snapple forgave her but still hadn’t towards Trigger. Honeycrisp doesn’t know how to start apologizing to Langres since he often locks himself to his room and never allowed anyone, except for Clementine, in. Slowly, Snapple is starting to forgive him. Trigger gets possessive of her, especially when she unknowingly attracted the attention of other Lost Boys.

Makeup and Beauty Blog Monday Poll, Vol. 639

So…what is the Monday Poll?

Hmm… Beauty Blenders are quite handy…but I’ll take the brush because I could do more with it.

2. Apples or oranges?

I like them both a lot, but I’ll go with apples BECAUSE APPLE PASTRY. And apple turnovers. And apple fritters! Plus, there are so many varieties of apples. (I’m a honeycrisp girl, myself.) This week at our house we’re enjoying the Granny Smith.

3. An old-school makeup product you’ve used for-ev-er?

MAC Powersurge eyeliner. Been using it for well over a decade!

4. A fancy beauty product you love?

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter is magic (albeit expensive magic, hahaha).

5. River, lake or ocean?

Frankly, any of the above. I wouldn’t mind a tranquil, warm lake right now, but I’m a beach baby at heart.

Hi I’m Charlie nice to meet you.

I’ve gotten a lot of new followers recently so I figured I’d introduce myself.  My name is Charlotte/Charlie/Bookworm, whatever you want really. She/her/hers. This is by no means everything but will give you big picture things.

I’m a baby queer who’s still trying to figure out all the details and history of her community because boy is she a history nerd.  I grew up in Minnesota and am currently living in Chicago.  This fact is most evident during apple season. (Don’t ever get me started on the glory that is a homegrown Honeycrisp apple.  You will regret it.)

While I consider myself a writer, my actual productivity has gone down hill in the past few years.  I guess that what happens when you’re clinically depressed, anxious, suffering from a thyroid that’s giving up on you and your first year of college. Heads up I went through a suicidal episode within the last two months.  I don’t mean to say this to worry you or gain sympathy I just figure we might all want to be on the page. I tag everything regarding my mental illness pretty religiously.  

I’ve got a lot of (badly written) fanfiction under the master list link.  It’s mainly Rumbelle and from a simpler time.  Some stories may be finished at some point,but I wouldn’t put much stock into it.  Unusual Case is a TEA winner for best reunion a fact I’m very proud of.  I also have emotion-induced poetry as a link up top.  Basically when I’m going through an episode I’ll just let the words flow in a way they don’t at any other time.

First lady Melania Trump touts equality at International Women’s Day luncheon

Washington (CNN)First lady Melania Trump spoke about equality, freedom and the responsibility women have to help each other achieve success at an invitation-only luncheon honoring International Women's Day Wednesday at the White House.

"As an immigrant myself, having grown up in a communist society, I know all too well the value and importance of freedom and equal opportunity -- ideals which this great nation was founded and has continued to strive towards throughout its history," Trump said according to her prepared remarks obtained by CNN from Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, senior adviser and chief strategist to the first lady.

The first lady spoke from a podium in the State Dining Room, focusing on atrocities women are confronted with around the world, including human trafficking.

"There remains far more brutal and terrifying incarnations of actual gender persecution which we must face together, such as forced enslavement, sexual abuse and absolute repression of far too many women and girls around the globe. We must remember these women in our daily prayers and use our combined resources to help free them from such unthinkable and inhumane circumstances," she said.

More than a month into her role as first lady, Wednesday marked the announcement of a more defined platform of initiatives for Trump. She cited education as a way to prevent gender inequality, and pledged her support to help bridge the divide for women.

"I continue to firmly believe that education is the most powerful way to promote and ensure women's rights. Together we will do this not only by striving for gender parity at all levels of education, but also by showing all children, and especially boys, that it is through empathy, respect and kindness that we achieve our collective potential," she said. "Together with UN Women for Peace Association, we can educate and reinforce the importance of tolerance and a society filled with inclusivity regardless of race, gender or culture."

First daughter Ivanka Trump, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, White House adviser Kellyanne Conway, GOP Sen. Susan Collins, second lady Karen Pence and her daughter, Charlotte Pence, were also present for the luncheon, as well as fashion designer Rachel Roy.

The room of exclusively female attendees was briefly joined for part of the luncheon by two men: President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence made an appearance.

"Pleasure to be at lunch hosted by @FLOTUS & @SecondLady honoring #IWD2017. Thanks to the inspiring women paving the way to a better future," the Vice President tweeted.

Guests dined on tomato mozzarella salad, thyme-brined chicken, spinach gnocchi and honeycrisp apple crostata at tables with oversized purple floral centerpieces, including tulips and sweet peas. The hallways surrounding the room smelled strongly floral.

Also on the menu on Wednesday afternoon: white wine. Per a program, the White House served a 2015 Pride Mountain Viognier "Sonoma."

The first lady, wearing a black, sleeveless Ralph Lauren dress, made her remarks after the pooled press was escorted out of the room.

When model and actress Emily Ratajkowski spoke out against a journalist who disparaged Melania Trump, the first lady took to Twitter to thank Ratajkowski for her support.

"Applause to all women around the world who speak up, stand up and support other women! @emrata #PowerOfEveryWoman #PowerOfTheFirstLady," Melania Trump wrote in a rare tweet from the @FLOTUS account. She's used the hashtag "#PowerOfTheFirstLady" four times.

Ivanka Trump, also present for the luncheon, is also actively working on women's empowerment issues, a cause near to her heart and skill set. Her "Women Who Work" book is due out in May and she's been working with Dina Powell, a Goldman Sachs executive turned White House adviser, on promoting women's empowerment and entrepreneurship.

The first daughter, who does not have a formal title in her father's administration, has been working alongside lawmakers on child care legislation. She appeared, along with the first lady, in the Oval Office as Trump signed legislation to promote women in STEM.

Ivanka Trump also helped orchestrate a women's business initiative, launching the United States Canada Council for the Advancement of Women Business Leaders and Female Entrepreneurs while Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was in town last month. And she's gotten to work building relationships, hosting two private dinner parties with business executives focused on women in the workplace.

HISTORY

Charlotte had always felt protective and maternal, especially as they grew up amongst the Crescents during the Crescent curse, their parents forced to live their days as wolves with one night every month, the full moon, to be with their children in human form. Unfortunately in Charlie’s teen years, the strain of feeling like she held the weight of the world on her shoulders as she tried to navigate who she was while also ensuring that her siblings were safe and cared for, her growing aggression and temper tended to get the better of her and always somehow found herself in fights with the other untriggered teens. Around this time, however, Charlie found herself falling in love. It was a whirlwind kind of relationship, one that made Charlotte feel more alive than ever, more carefree and making riskier choices than she used to. Thus resulting in her getting pregnant. The first year with her son was amazing. The new parents doting over the little boy until they found out that she had fallen pregnant once more, this time a set of twins. Her partner became distant and was in and out of her and their kids lives. The anger that boiled within her as the realization that she was now a single mother to 3 children under the age of 3 while still being somewhat of a child herself had increased the level of stress that she had already been feeling. It didn’t take long for someone to push her buttons to far before she ended up in another fight this time her aggression far too much for her to control thus resulting in Charlie’s triggering of her gene at the age of 21, leaving her children to be cared for by the untriggered wolves. It would be 2 years before Hayley Marshall would come along and have the curse broken, allowing Tara to reunite with her now 3 and 4 year old children. Fast forward to now and Charlie had quickly gotten her life together, her main focus on her children and providing for them, put herself through university online while working a full-time job from home and caring for her children, attending the police academy and working her way up in rank to where she is today with the help of her pack.
