How I think the Weasley siblings cross the street when a car waves at them across to go cause why the fuck not

Bill: waves back and walks normally across the street. He takes his time though :(

Charlie: doesn’t even look he just sprints like his life depends upon it. Youre stressed. He deals with dragons he can handle a car hitting him he doesn’t care

Percy: nods at you and walks with a purpose across the street. The best type cause he’s a fast walker. (Not like he’s gay or anything. Gay people walk fast)

Fred: if he’s alone, he’s usually normal. He waves back and does a little half shuffle half walk across. When he’s with George there’s a whole production and bet whether or not they can sprint across without getting hit.

George: once again, if he’s alone, he’s sort of normal but he just half shuffled across. With Fred it’s a dramatic affair. One time they even pretended to get hit just to be annoying with a musical and dance number.

Ron: swaggers across the street with his long legs. I love him but I know he strolls across with not a care in the world. He’s just chilling.

Ginny: iconic, struts across with a purpose. She has places to go places to be. nothing wrong.

Harry, cause why not: he definitely full on runs across the street out of sheer shame bc he doesn’t want to make the car wait. Deadass probably gets hit by car at least once

Hermione cause why the fuck not as well: is legit normal and how we all strive to be when crossing the street. No shame, just a simple wave and nod and crosses just fine.

Hi <3 This here them a gear headcannons like you would get for the 1st time in the burrow Pairing: light George x Reader Warnings: None ( implied fluff, a George Wesley in love) Trailer: You are Yn Yln and a good friend from Hermione Greanger and when Hermione was invited to the burrow, she just took you with her. What you didn't know was that George had taken a liking to you. Unfortunately, he's quite… reserved about that sort of thing

Arrival:

in 2 weeks the next school year at Hogwarts would begin

you would arrive in the foxhole with Hermione

of course everyone knew that you would come too (not) that's why you arrived completely unexpectedly with Hermione

but everyone was still happy that you were there too

it was a huge hustle and bustle while you all greeted each other

it was already late so you all ate together, but suddenly you remembered something: "Um… Molly? " you asked hesitantly. "Yes, darling? "she said, looking at you questioningly. Unfortunately, she talks quite loud (because she was sitting at the other end of the table) which made everyone look at you. "Well, I'm very sorry, especially because I came along unannounced, but where am I supposed to sleep? ", you ask. Thoughtful silence until someone says: "She can sleep with us. ". It was George who offered. "Everywhere else is full. Harry sleeps with Ron, Hermione sleeps with Ginny. Bill's sleeping at Percy's and Charly's on the couch. Where else would she sleep?" he said.

Molly had no objections and so the whole thing was settled. After the last cup of cocoa had been drunk, you said, "Good night!" to everyone and ran upstairs to the Weasley twins' room and then got ready for bed in the bathroom and changed your clothes

when you were ready you walked out of the bathroom and nearly bumped into George and Fred who were arguing about who would go into the bathroom next

you slipped between them and made your way into the twins' room

To your surprise, your bed was already made up

it was between George's and Fred's beds and it didn't look like an air mattress either, but just like the twins' bed

the twins' bed, just as long, just as wide and just as high

you could immediately recognise which bed belonged to whom

'well, never mind' you thought and lay down in your own bed

A narrow beam of light shone into the room through the gap between the door and the wall, which increased in size 5 minutes after you lay down.

It was George, apparently he had won the fight against Fred

his hair was wet and stuck to his forehead, indicating that he had been in the shower

He was wearing flaming red pyjamas that went wonderfully with his hair

You two looked at each other for a second or two until he seemed to have found his words again and said:

"Oh, Yn! I'm sorry! Did I wake you up? "

before you could answer, Fred came through the door and nearly ran over his twin brother in the process

He almost tripped over you too, but George was just able to grab him by the corner of his (equally flaming red) pyjamas and prevent such a mishap Fred is only named against your bed XD

when the last person in the house had gone to bed, it gradually became quiet in the house, which didn't mean that everyone was asleep

George and Fred were also still very much awake and talking animatedly about a new joke idea

you were almost asleep when suddenly the word was turned to you: "Well, Yn? How do you like it in the foxhole?" Fred suddenly asked you. "You don't like it, do you? It's…, too small, isn't it?" George added ashamedly. "No! I think it's great here!" you said, giggling.

After a while, Fred and George stopped talking and you were all finally able to sleep

you had a very restless sleep - you kept tossing and turning until you met with resistance

far too tired to think about it, you just lay there as it was so comfortable and you were finally getting warm

It was already the middle of the night when I suddenly felt something

something had bumped into me and just stayed there

I turned round carefully and…

I had to suppress a squeak

It was Yn! She had snuggled up to me! She had been very restless the whole time and now she had finally fallen asleep. 'Oh God… she looks so beautiful… even when she's asleep' George thought to himself

He wasn't sure what he should do now

should he push you away, do nothing, or put an arm around you?

he decided in favour of the latter after a while

slowly and carefully, so as not to wake you up, he turned round so that he could hug you gently

'Oh, she's so warm and her skin…how can skin be so soft…She fits so perfectly in my arms' he thought

"Oh my God…" he murmured half asleep and melted away

he had imagined countless times what it would be like to hold you in his arms

it was a thousand times better than he had ever dreamed of

with the extremely tantalising thought of falling asleep like this every night, he also drifted off into his first dream

The next morning (your view):

you woke up, awakened by the sun's rays shining on your face

You were exceptionally warm, but not too hot, you felt something behind you and felt a gentle, steady throbbing. It was very cosy and pleasant just lying there. You could have fallen asleep again

It took you 2 minutes to come round properly, and after those 2 minutes came the shock of realisation - you squeaked out something like: "iiikkk!!!! ", you jumped up and had to exert a little more force than usual as you were being held down by 2 rather strong arms. You immediately ran to the bathroom, under the gaze of a confused Fred and a sleepy, yet guilty George

after you had washed your face in the bathroom, you almost stopped blushing and went back to the twins' room

Fred had asked you what had happened and you said you had simply been frightened by a spider

George didn't look at you, he just couldn't look him in the eye, but you looked at them both and shouted happily, "Good morning, Georgie and Freddie!" and scurried out of the room.

For my contribution for pride month I’d like to share my personal head canons for Harry Potter characters!!!

Harry Potter: I’m gonna be honest I project on this man far too unhealthily to NOT be biased (I’ve been going by the name Harry in IRLfor 3 and a half years now I think? Bc of this man /srs) but that man’s bi with a capital B 💕💜💙 personally I enjoy seeing trans man Harry as well but unfortunately I don’t see as many fanfics of him as such :,) shoutout to all the fanfic creators I see making Harry a trans woman tho!!! I’d also love to see a genderfluid/nonbinary Harry or two!!!

Hermione Granger: trans woman!!! 🏳️‍⚧️ *crowd cheers* as for sexuality wise? I’ve seen her depicted as straight, bisexual and lesbian- and honestly I think I can see her fitting all of these!!!

Ronald Weasley: I always struggle to pinpoint what I headcanon Ron to be. I have seen a couple of people headcannoning him as a trans man 🏳️‍⚧️- referencing Molly continuing to have children until she had a girl creates perfect levels of angst for this- but I wouldn’t say it’s a permanent aspect of him inside my head. Now that I think about him a little more- I think I might headcanon him as unlabeled more than anything sexuality wise. I think he’s into women but he wouldn’t be opposed or too surprised if he developed a crush on a guy.

Luna Lovegood: She’s a lesbian 🏳️‍🌈💕 (I will occasionally accept fanfics where she is pan and is with Neville but her being a lesbian is the main headcanon) also a little gender queer in whichever way you choose 🏳️‍⚧️ sometimes I see her as genderfluid, bigender and just generally nonbinary

Ginny Weasley: bi- so so bi 💕💜💙

Draco Malfoy: Gayest motherfucker in town I’m sorry- Mr. Tells his father literally everything about Harry 💚🤍💙

Remus Lupin: bi 💕💜💙 there’s no question about that in my mind, I think he has a small preference for men but that’s it!!!

Sirius Black: He switches between using the labels queer and gay but you know that man kisses other men!!! 💚🤍💙 I know a lot of people tend to headcanon him as genderfluid which I enjoy seeing but it’s never been a main stay headcanon for me :,)

Tonks: (She/they) Lesbian and Intersex 🏳️‍🌈💕💛🟣. I’m sorry but the age gap between Remus and her in the original books make me uncomfortable- as for being intersex, I think most ppl believe being a metamorphmagus means she is automatically genderfluid, while I like seeing genderfluid representation, I think ppl often fail to acknowledge the difference between sex and gender. As a metamorphmagus, she transforms her body, her gender doesn’t seem to change w it in the books. While I like the headcanons of them being genderfluid I wish more people explored that specific idea.

Severus Snape: queer? Queer. In every sense of the word. I think most people view him as bi 💕🟣💙 which I agree with (Lily and Mulciber, also absolutely headcanon him having a crush on both Lucius AND Narcissa) but also I think he’s a little bit gender funky- I mean just look at him- no one who stands like that isn’t just cis /ref. Sev absolutely painted his nails and did eyeliner, he absolutely wore a floor length black skirt and absolutely had days where mister hit wrong in all the right places and everyone in her group helped by doing tiny things like braiding her hair and putting bat clips in it for fun 🏳️‍⚧️

Some Random Bill Weasley 🧡 Headcanons

He was into curse breaking before he even had a wand. There was even a case where Arthur came home with a cursed watch someone snuck into his pocket, and Bill was able to de curse it. No wand needed. He was meant for greatness from then on

The reason Ginny doesn’t have any real long turn damage from the diary, besides ya know trauma, was because of Bill. Given his history of curse breaking, and 100% defiantly dealing with a Horcrux before, he was able to make sure she was able to recover to the best of his abilities. Helps that Ginny is a fighter all the same

His patronus used to be that of a lion, but after the werewolf attack it became that of a wolf.

He has a wand with a Horned Serpent Horn core. It’s perfect for a curse breaker. To help them sense danger when they can’t see or feel it themselves

The only reason he has long hair was he convinced Molly that he grew it out to help Ginny not feel ‘girly’ for having long hair. Charlie hates him for stealing his plans

He moved back to working at Gringotts after the war. As to be closer to George, given Fred’s passing. The goblins welcomed him with open arms, and give him scheduled time off for when the full moon comes around

Given he is a curse breaker, it literally sucks the life out of you. So he is rather pale and slender. It also means mental health is extremely important, so he has a lot of vacations. Along with is the family therapist. As if he wasn’t being the eldest

He works a side hobby with trying to find a cure, some kind of new medication, for Werewolfism. Since he himself did not suffer its extreme effects, he figured due to being a curse breaker, he figured a break through. That if you treat the wound quickly, as if a typical curse, it can be stopped

He is a leading advocate for werewolf equality, and uses his curse breaking title to hold weight in what he does and says. Hermione is proud, and Lupin is as well

He is also 100% part of Abigail’s Pack

And might have possibly slept with her dad at some point shushhhhh

Like girl you accidentally created an Ace character and the say that?? I still think that's funny. Cause yes Rowling, people can live happy, lovely, enjoyable lives without wanting a "shag" or whatever you said- look at that happy boy you made who never married, screw you

Okay, I gotta build on the "Percy L O V E S Snape" part because YES!

I feel so bad for Percy and I absolutely headcannon him having Snape as his fave teacher - saying things like "The man is brilliant, you nitwits" and "if you bothered to listen and follow the instructions he gives you on the board you can't possibly fail his class" and even "stop whining about professor Snape, he's the most just teacher we have - especially you, Ron, it wasn't Snape who sent you to dally with the spiders in the woods, was it?" and so on.

Like, Percy is basically the runt of the litter in the Weasley family and no matter what he does he's just sort of there, and he's not very liked by anyone but he tries his best. He does well in school, stays out of trouble, studies and ends up getting work at the ministry just like his father. I absolutely headcannon him being slightly brainwashed like the rest of the world listening to the Daily Prophet and he's a good citizen so he trusts in his governing body and the Minister - the boy is trying to do everything right and he probably feels shunned by his family to some degree. Bill and Charlie are off doing their things, the twins start a business (and despite being absolutely nuisances they are loved and cherished) while Ron is part of the trio and Ginny becomes the love of Harry Potter himself while doing splendidly in quidditch and school... (I love all the Weasley kids so this is just how I headcannon it from Percy's perspective.)

So, what of Percy? He's like the invisible son but I headcannon him being seen by Snape, perhaps even praised for "being the least problematic of your family, Mr Weasley" and him being a student Snape didn't bother as he always did well and did what he was supposed to - perhaps even showing Snape he saw the instructions on the board and did not even bother to look in the books whenever the professor didn't instruct to do so which Snape obviously notices and notes somewhere in the margins of a returned test or paper.

I can totally see Percy adoring the professor, even looking up to him as Percy himself isn't popular or perhaps not even liked at all and there you have Snape - a professor, a master at potions, a fantastic wizard - and he's disliked by damn near everyone but he doesn't seem to care at all, not even be bothered by it the slightest and that I believe Percy would see as strength and wish he could do too.

It just makes sense in my head.

LMAO ME TOO. I actually headcanon that Sev was quite fond of the Weasley family.

Bill was a smart student, who, according to Ginny, didn’t like Snape. But I doubt Snape cared about what the students thought of him, I think he just cared if they did well in his class or not. Given that Bill was a prefect + Head-Boy and got 12 O.W.L.s, he definitely didn’t get in trouble that much and was a clever student, so Snape probably tolerated him.

We don’t know much about Charlie but based on Hogwarts Mystery he low-key likes Snape, so I think they were alright.

I personally headcanon that Percy L O V E S Snape and admires everything he does, he definitely criticises his siblings (*cough* Ron) whenever they say anything bad about him.

Fred and George seem to be amused by him despite thinking he’s a git (though I doubt they took anything he said seriously) and I think they had natural talent in potions. Snape definitely values experimental projects and creativity (considering his spell creations and rewriting his potions book), which the twins have, so despite their troublemaking antics I’m sure he at the very least respected their creativity (this is a headcanon I’ve had for such a long time, I’m so happy I can finally talk about it lmao).

I think Severus mostly disliked Ron because of his association with Harry, his disregard for school rules, and his laziness in class, but I think out of the trio he tolerated Ron the most (they’re also both my fave characters in the series so I just like the thought of them being cool with each other lmao).

As for Ginny, I don’t think he hated her, but he found her mildly annoying because of her obvious crush on Harry in CoS and then in the later books when she came out of her shell. She didn’t complain about him much, the closest thing we get is her saying that “Bill doesn’t like him either” as a reason for not liking him. Plus I always thought Ginny would’ve made a good Slytherin and wasn’t super annoying in class so I think he at least preferred her to Hermione lmao.

I think Snape was okay with Molly (and I think she respected him as a teacher, she liked him enough to correct Harry for calling him “Snape” instead of “Professor Snape”), but I think he probably didn’t respect Arthur’s love of Muggles and thought he was a bit silly, and I think he liked him less than Molly due to Lucius’s influence lmfao.

I know this has nothing to do with your original question, but can you tell I’ve had this headcanon for a really long time and jumped at the opportunity to rant about it? 😭
