Brows furiously tugged together as dark eyes scanned over documents - reports from a recent Cardenas Cartel attack. That family was going to be the death of her, but not before she took a few with her first. They took her brother, she'll take a lot more.

Sitting back in her chair, Julieta closed her eyes in an attempt to seek a moment of silence. The moment was ruined the second she heard heavy footsteps entering her office. It wasn't until they spoke when Julieta's eyes snapped open to find Charlie sitting in the chair across from her desk. How? How did he get through security? How didn't anyone page her regarding a visitor? Scrambling to her feet, the Federal Agent moved to close her door.

"How the hell did you get in here?" she questioned, closing the blinds. "On second thought, don't answer that. I'm not sure I want to know." She returned to her desk with arms folded across her chest.

"She's been gone before. I'm sure she's fine, Charlie. Did anyone ever tell you you worry too much?"

After moving to Bright Harbor and settling in in the spring. Gregg and Angus were married in the fall two years after they moved.

When both were already financially stable. They were considering adopting a child, although they both had their doubts and concerns, they did not know whether to take that big step. But after thinking and talking about it, they decided whether to take the plunge. They wanted to raise a child together.

They both arrived at the Santa Julieta orphanage that an acquaintance from Angus's work had recommended to them.

After watching the children who were playing in the yard. Their attention was drawn to a little bear with black fur and golden eyes sitting on the stairs watching the other children play. She appeared to be about 5 or 4 years old. Being someone very introverted and serious. They approached her to talk a little with her, although when she sees them, she runs to the rooms. She seemed to be very shy. They both continued to see the other children without understanding why the little girl ran away from them. But despite that, the girl really caught their attention.

They went to that orphanage a couple more times to try to talk to the girl. She still didn't say a word, but she didn't run away when they approached her like last time. A few weeks after going. They asked her if she wanted to be adopted.

The little girl was silent for a long time just looking at the ground, but she nods. With a smile, Gregg and Angus went to sign some papers so they could adopt Katrina.

The first months were somewhat uncomfortable for the three of them. Katri was quite an introvert and somewhat difficult when it came to expressing herself or trying to live with her a bit. They could only hang out with her when it was lunch and dinner time.

But after a few months, Katrina was starting to open up a little more to them, saying something at dinner for the first time, saying that she liked dinner. Something that took them by surprise, but they were glad that Katri began to open up more to them.

A few days later they noticed that Katri was quite similar to Angus because of her introverted personality. But she was also certainly like Gregg in having a somewhat rebellious demeanor.

But one day, Katri had approached them to ask them to call her something else, and not treat her like a child either. She confessed to them that she didn't feel well being treated like a girl. She didn't want to explain why she didn't feel good about it. But they both got it and stopped calling her Katrina to call her Charlie at Charlie's request.

Charlie was opening up more to them and spending more time together.

Things seemed to be going well. The three of them will go visit Mae and Bea so they can meet their son, Charlie.

I'm real bored so here's my favorite relationship headcanons about the boys:

1. Agustín is a biter. Bruno needs healing food often if he doesn't want to look like he got mauled by Parce.

2. If the 'gasm is good enough, Bruno's eyes will light up. Agustín tries to make this happen all. The. Time.

3. Agustin's biggest turn-on is a pair of doe eyes and a "pretty please, Gus?"

4. Bruno's biggest turn-on is displays of strength. Watching Agustín chop a bunch of wood and get all sweaty doing it is his favorite.

5. The first time they tried to roleplay, it ended in a LOT of laughs. The rope was not tight enough. The acting was cheesy. One of them got a charlie horse in the middle of it. Sand got everywhere. A couple of rats got caught watching them and had to be bribed out of telling Toñito.

6. Agustín loves hugging Bruno from behind and resting his chin on top of his head. And that view is bangin

7. Bruno did not fight for Agustín. He was content to stand aside and allow Julieta to have him, no matter how bad it hurt. When she explained that she was aroace, and only marrying Agustín to please their mother, he was ecstatic.

8. Bruno's love language is acts of service. Agustin's is quality time.

9. Alma didn't find out about the arrangement between Bruno, Juli, and Gus until after the magic came back. When she did, it took her a long time to adjust, but she did eventually come around. Eventually.

Starting off, we've got Andrea. She's 18 and she's the half sister of my OC Noah (who is an MC). She the responsible older sister of everyone. She doesn't have a big role in the first book but in the second, she's the mother hen. She's bi. She's also athletic and is on the track team. She wants to study sociology in college.

Next is Carmen. If light academia was a person basically. Shes 21 and she's Noah's older sister (Noah is 14. He has a 9 y/o lil sis named Julieta). She kinda wants to do her own thing and doesn't want to become a guardian bc it would mean being forced to stay in one place forever. She needs to move and to be free and do her own thing. She's currently been traveling the world for the past two and a half years. Her father disappeared two years ago and she didn't come home when her mother told her to come back so they're not on the best of terms currently rip. And she does get kidnapped by the same evil faeries who kidnapped her father and no one knows bc she's kind of been ghosting everyone ripppp. She's pretty introverted and loves the smell of old books and LOVES bookstores. LOVES them.

Emeline (Ema) is the half sister of the twins. She's 16 and her dad is an opera singer. Her dad and the twins' mom have been married for 4 years or so. Before then, her dad raised her alone. Her hair is dyed pastel pink and she's got a lot of piercings in her ears. She's also pretty introverted but makes friends pretty easily (albeit awkwardly LMAO)

And finally. Hilde. (I saved her for last bc cw: talk of child soldiers (its only mentioned)) Her story is. Its probably the most traumatic out of all of them ajfklglglg. Shes super pale (pale skin, hair a really pale blond, eyes a pale blue). She's 18 and was adopted by Charlie and Cece's parents when she was 12. Her parents accidentally traveled from Sweden, Earth, to Flador, a kingdom in liandron (parallel world to earth), and she was born there a few years later. When she was 9, faeries came to the village and took all the human children and killed the other humans and the kids were trained as soldiers to fight in their war against the other countries of liandron. Hilde managed to run away, a guardian found her (grandpa of the twins) and took her back with him and she grew up with the twins and was legally adopted by their parents. Now she's 18 and has sworn to be the twins' protector

My Top Ten Theatrical Experiences of 2019

So here goes. I’m not that good at making lists, especially in an order that defines saying one thing is slightly better or somewhat worse, because on any given day, the order and assigned number might shift around quite dramatically.  But on this cold NYC morning, this is what I was thinking. Of course, my special mentions are as long as this list of my top ten (by twice), but so be it.  I feel grateful every time I walk in the theatre, particularly since becoming an Outer Critics Circle voting member. There is just so much to love about New York City’s dynamic and eclectic theatre scene, and although I wanted to add a few from London, England, Washington, or Toronto, I tried my hardest to keep it tuned in to what is happening on Broadway and Off this calendar year. So disagree or agree. It’s all good, and let me know your thoughts. I always love hearing about someone’s passionate loves.

10: Octet

“This one certainly got under my skin and had me thinking late into the night. It also forced me, quite intensely and wisely, to think twice before each and every impulse I had to look at my phone…It’s insanely beautiful and achingly real emotionality that forces itself on me even as I attempted to fall asleep after I got home from this enlightenment…The simpleness of this musical has one of the more important messages that the world seems to be desperate to hear and learn.” Full Review

7: What the Constitution Means to Me

“As directed with a free-flowing and creative hand by Oliver Butler, it hits us deep and sharp, almost as complicated as the ripples of distrust and pain that strike through Schreck, shaking and overwhelming her composure that feels, most definitely, out of the box…It lightens my load, seeing the smart and funny ‘What the Constitution Means to Me,’ although my broken heart stays confused and perplexed in these trying times.” Full Review

6: A Strange Loop

“Directed with crafty ingenuity…The thrills of that first number sent me into joyous giggles of delight and surprise. And it just kept getting deeper and smarter, wittier and wiser with each effervescent and boundary-free song. 5: Hadestown

“The ‘Road to Hell’ has never been finer…With Mitchell’s spectacular retelling of the old Orpheus myth…It’s clear from the hot and fiery opening that…Chavkin has a pure vision of tense and muscular motion…The songs are beautiful…’Hadestown’ delivers a deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful theatrical experience, filled to overflowing with passion, artistry, and love, even as are hearts are crushed in the end by our human frailties.” Full Review

4: Betrayal

“A triangle built with a ballet-like precision within a circle against a long rectangular wall. This is the essence of this masterful revival. They are poised for interaction from that first visual, one by one, in pairs (for the most part), as directed with tight thoughtfulness by the gifted Jamie Lloyd.” Full Review

People say this orchestration is the First National Tour one but it really isn't, it sounds much more like the LA orchestrations. Perfect quality, includes every musical interlude, underscore, song, etc.
