Just thinking of world where Charles doesn't trust his telepathy and his feelings for Erik. Like Erik allows him on the briefest of surface thoughts and Charles is aware of an attraction but thinks it's coming from Erik to him and not him to Erik so he doesn't say anything to Erik because he cannot stand the thought of hurting Erik if his feelings aren't genuine and then something happens and he loses his telepathy temporarily and he has to actually grapple with his feelings for Erik bc at first he thinks he can still feel Erik's feelings for him then when he discovers that his feelings are genuine he does everything he can to keep his secret from Erik

You ever thought about how Eriks and Charles powers are so beautifully juxtaposed, exact foils for becoming either perfect lovers or perfect enemies.

Think about it, and you may think about it in terms of telepathy kink/ telekinesis kink.

Charles powers is all inside, inside the brain specifically. The brain is such an undocumented entity that we have difficulty understanding. Thoughts are not physical, the mind is a concept we only know exists because we are the mind. You can’t see it, you can’t feel it, it’s entirely within. Emotions, thoughts, that inner voice, all ineffable and untouchable.

Erik’s power is grounded in reality, he can feel the pull of every metallic material in his vicinity. He can warp his very surroundings, almost as if he is one with the metal. He can tear buildings apart by pulling on their magnetic fields, he can crush a train, strangle someone with the smallest chain. His power is entirely physical, he controls physics.

Erik can do what Charles can’t, which is have physical power over his surroundings. And Charles can do what Erik can’t, which I don’t even know how to describe.

Now if we do purposefully translate this into their respective kinks, it becomes diabolical.

Erik has complete power over the Earth, manmade objects, knives, pretty much anything, even your blood. And the power Charles has is the one thing that he doesn’t have power over, so of course loosing to that power would be enjoyable to him. (In the psychology of fetishes and kinks)

Same goes for Charles. Charles has the power to make any man do anything he’d like, so to have a man (that he can’t control) walk in and force him back, with powers beyond his scope of control, now he’s interested.

Personally I’m more of a “Charles has a magnetism kink” kinda guy over a “Erik has a telepathy kink” kinda guy, but both work for the exact same reason and I can’t deny that.

Anyway, I need to see more inner thought processes happening in fanfics. Yes I know they’re absolutely rawdogging it rn, but what are they thinking about???? Thinking about this!!!! ^^

I love how for the entire season, Charles and Mags were like "oh my old friend Magnus who thinks idealism is insanity, I miss him so🥺❤️", "Oh, that time Charles and I were in a bar in Germany and he talked about his dream and smiled his secret smile and I told him he was sentimental or suicidal, I wish he could be here today and see this"

And now they're back together for like 5 seconds and both entirely back in their oldest, most extreme corners and I just imagine they're both like "right THIS was the stuff that pissed me off so much. THIS is why it never worked out for us."

I said a while ago that I imagined an edit of Charles and Raven to the song Evelyn, Evelyn and I finally did it!

They could fit both POV’s in this song and that’s what makes their relationship so fascinating. They both want to hold onto what they have but are drifting apart. They both have complicated feelings about their identities and how the others and each other perceive them and it makes them struggle to communicate.

They make me cry sometimes so I need to go read fics where they get along.

Thinking about his unshakable sense of morality, right and wrong and justice that he formed at the age of 9 and has kept ever since, with modifications along the years but those core values remain

Thinking about how the overstimulation of a thousand voices in his head drove him to self medicate to the point of nearly addiction

Charles is way too comfortable in Erik's head.

I know that in FC Erik said "then you know to stay out of it" but I fully on believe that when Erik decided to stay and they were talking to that agent in the office is when Erik invited Charles in bc there's no way they weren't talking telepathically in that scene.

There's no way imo that Charles would access Erik's memories without being in Erik's head already and asking for permission.

I fully on believe that there's no way Erik would've kept that helmet on if he wasn't trying to block Charles' feelings towards him.

Cherik is such a gorgeous love story I often forget it's not canon.

Like, objective proof aside, imagine a love so undying it has persisted after so many fights, betrayals and wars in every universe and will continue to do so even if the earth stops spinning, even when everything is reduced to the ground.
