the vengeance, like, Daniel would be avenging who? Because in the logic of the game, the main characters are avenging their father's death, so Daniel would be avenging...Esteban?😒(spongebob hawaiian cocktail playing in background), sorry!! the old lady I mean this jinfeng, tsc, its very obvious who combine to be, lisbeth!, even the way our main characters kill this jinfeng is exactly alike the way Daniel kills lisbeth and I never notice that, I mean I founded similar when I saw it, but its more similar than I thought(i always thought that our main characters killed this jinfeng by choking her, but playing again and again now I see that they actually break/crack her neck, thats what kills her, which exactly what daniel's do when he kills lisbeth, and both deaths/scenes are kinda creppy, our main characters is a cool creppy, daniel's to me its a bad creppy(I have a trauma with this scene/episode 4 in general💦), but I will accept for the sake of coherence😓

oooo I’ve never seen this hypothetical before. I feel like these r like the pairings deemed correct by the universe if that makes sense lmao. Loustat and devils minion r so compelling bcus they r hashtag opposites attract hashtag ying yang, and I feel like lesmand and danlou are like the more compatible options. Which sounds unhinged when it comes to lesmand bcus they r awful for each other, but genuinely I feel like they gel in a very specific way that’s kind of rare in tvc, like they get each other. They r on the same wavelength of crazy fr. No , RWBY is neither misogynistic nor homophobic...it is every bit the opposite

Rwby not written for the male gaze. Redesigns made by critics focus on sexualizing women.  RWBY has women show much less skin than the typical fairy tail woman. Also their clothes have pockets and pouches. Rwby is not written for the patriarchy.

So Personally I've always felt like misogyny was always made by the critics. A common thread in a lot of that group's criticisms seems to come down to not liking that some of the show's villains embody male power fantasies, and that the positive male characters it has aren't the main characters, with the female characters being a harem for them.

It's a female-centered story whose true focus is its main characters' growing and supporting each other through their weaknesses and struggles, and a lot of men can't stand it.

Rewrites and AUs focus on men, on straightwashing women, on validating edgelords, on telling women that they suck. And more importantly,  rewrites are obsessed with not letting women be right about anything or important unless they're tied to a male protagonist story.

But Rwby is about giving women roles typically held by men. Women not requiring men for authority, or guidance, but instead being men's equals. Or in the case of the female antagonists? Having mental superiority over deconstructed edgelords like Adam taurus or the "ends justify the means" deconstruction of ironwood.

They have girlfails like Cinder, who you can hate, but also admire that she keeps coming back and refusing to give up.

They have badass grannies like Maria Calavera.

They have autism-coded women.

And unlike Naruto? Women can actually WIN a 1 on 1 fight against a male opponent.

Edgelord is what incels see themselves as. Incels also see themselves as victims of women. They also see themselves as tragic,  misunderstood,  or entitled to an ego.

Adam is the example of the incel: "I was hurt by society, so I am going to make it everyone's problem! I am a hero of justice, for I am giving the world the justice it deserves! I am an underdog!"

That's how incels, conservatives, otakus see themselves.

They saw Adam as a Vergil Sparda. A dude who murders countless innocent lives for the sake of power.....who believes that power is the only thing matters. He ain't morally grey, he's evil. But he's cool, and to a lot of very emotionally immature people, coolness means morally grey or anti-villain/anti-hero. Adam was introduced trying to rob a train and blow up innocent people....people accused blake of being a murderer and trying to blow up the train, then running from adam. Adam was shown in volume 2, as a cult leader neglecting the deaths of his people. As with "Burning the candle" Yang and Blake scene, RWDE and RWBY Critics disregarded that because it ruined their headcanons of what they wanted Adam to be.

How many Adam fanfics have you seen where Blake is written as the one abusing adam?

Male abusers see themselves as victims of women.

Coffeehouse Crime, Danielle Kirsty, Eleanor Neale. Look them up on Youtube. They cover multiple cases of murderers and abusers. And the details that go into emotional and mental abuse/gaslighting? They cover them all. Including how society turns a blind eye to abuse if its not physical. Which is what Adam fans do.

Btw, if you want an example of a murderer who was an IRL abuser? Just look up OJ Simpson, who got away with both thanks to his fans.

RWBY covers emotional abuse, shows the damage it can do, and shows through Blake the recovery.

Arryn has been a victim of IRL cyberbullying from blacksun fans, BobxEliza fans, and Adam fans.

To where she's had to deactivate her social media.

Art imitates life....RWBY Critics harassing voice actresses. Though thefloofartist actually sent CRWBY gore fanart of Bumbleby and tauradonna ntr fanart, that was horrific.

Roman Torchwick is an example of charismatic sociopaths being the criminal: Society was mean to me, so I'm going to be racist, steal from the elderly, and hurt kids. Sure he has charisma as a character....does that excuse racism, calling Emerald a Street Rat, trying to rob old men, and shooting teenage girls

Jacques emotional abuse and gaslighting, something many people refuse to acknowledge unless its clearly spelled out from A to Z. One Adam taurus fan on twitter made death threats to a woman trying to explain that emotional abuse is real.

Raven is a bandit. A bandit is a killer and a thief. You don't romanticize killers and thieves. One piece paints an unrealistic view of pirates. 

Ironwood and Atlas represent the American Macho mindset and the nationalism issue Americans have. Illegally occupying foreign nations with military force as a means of "peacekeeping"? Removing leaders from power who don't respect your authority or your ideas? My way or the highway? Unwilling to compromise? Willing to work with capitalist Corporations so long as your war machine is funded? The ends justify the means? Only villains say that! Merging the police with the military to have unlimited power? Putting the good ethical cop "Marrow" under pressure and mockery? Treating the poor people as acceptable losses to cut and cutting all aid and support to the 99%? Arresting or threatening good samaritans who try to help the impoverished and underprivileged because they're not recognized by your licenses? Refusing to accept checks and balances because you see yourself as above the law and being the only one with the big picture? Seeing it as your duty to police others?

People were willing to consider Ironwood a sussy baka so long as they could consider Atlas to be like Germany. But the moment CRWBY pointed out how Atlas was too much like America? The "patriots" got furious...because it was too much like looking into a mirror, and the Ironwood fangirls did not like what they saw.

Less character bloat compared to shounen anime. Shounen has thousands of character. RWBY barely has 200. But they focus more on women's characters than men, and that upsets the Cardin fans and fanfic writers. If I had a nickel for every youtube channel that decided to make the racist incompetent bully into some "gigachad", I'd have two nickels, which isn't much, but still weird that it happened twice. Meanwhile, let a man have 3-5 minutes of screentime, the critics will say that Team RWBY don't act like the main characters. Protagonist centered morality only in shounen. Team rwby do face consequences and are forced to evaluate their decisions. The women are the protagonists, and they can spend more than 10 minutes without breaking the Bechdel test. Something that, once again, adam and cardin and jaune fanfics fail within a paragraph.

Ichigo and Rukia from Bleach, One Piece Live Action, Naruto and Sakura from that Gay Ninja Series.

Or in RWBY's case, I'm referring Blake Belladonna and Sun Wukong

Neither showed romantic attraction towards either gender for the majority of the show. Blake and Sun's arcs in V4 and V5 were about Blake learning to accept help, and Sun learning to recognize and respect people's boundaries. Neither Blake nor Sun actually made serious advances, and simply stayed good friends. Also if lesbians cannot exist without being fan service to you, that just means you're a pervert and need to touch grass.

Anyway, whomever said that RWBY Writers have no idea how to write women need to take a look at how their critics make video after video bashing women and LGBT.

Oh, and twitter calls RWBY post v3 "pandering to tumblerinas".

Plotting out "Vermilion" (Disney Movie)

Make sure to check out the summarized version of this and other stories in my post about the second part of the Resurgence Era! (And disclaimer: this post is a quick creation that is not the result of years like an actual film would be, and thus may not match the storytelling/music that properly reflects the culture.)

Background

At some point, a pitch is made to Disney concerning vampirism, though in contrast to traditional vampire films, this is an irreverent comedy. Disney initially passes on this, partially because they weren't interested in an irreverent comedy at the time, and partially because the pitch sounds more like a tv show. Eventually a more serious pitch snakes it's way back to execs, who hesitantly greenlight it, though they reason that it being a musical helps to lighten the material just enough (however controversial that opinion may be). After hiring Jon M. Chu thanks to his work on recent films (with Destin Daniel Cretton and Yu Yang being their alternates) and tapping Adele Lim once more, an idea comes to them to do a modern story instead of a medieval story, with an Asian lead. While Disney is initially hesitant on a modern story--especially when it was planned to be a musical--they believe in the team and let it go forward, bringing back Lin-Manuel Miranda due to their familiarity with his modern musicals and previous work experience with him. While Lim suggested the film be set in Malaysia, it was eventually switched to Singapore, with the lead (who was originally written as Eurasian) being of Malaysian and Chinese descent. There was a great debate on how to debate his vampirism, especially when his Malaysian heritage led to some encouragement to depict him--or at least his family--as Muslim, and there was concern about Disney being accused of portraying the group derogatorily. Eventually the project is evolved when someone brings up the idea of the vampires being mutants with vampire-like qualities, featuring the usual powers of super speed and strength, hypnotism, and mind reading, while replacing the bloodsucking aspect with emotional draining, making the victim become cruel as a result. As such, instead of being called vampires, the mutants are called Vermillions due to the color of their eyes. The film largely takes from tv shows as influences, including "Danny Phantom," "American Dragon: Jake Long," "Batman: The Animated Series," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," and "Gargoyles." The main character also goes through various changes, as he is originally written as a snarky and sneaky troublemaker, followed by an interation of him being insecure and awkward. The prior two iterations are removed for being too unlikable and stereotypically vampiric at first, followed by being too boring and reliant on Asian stereotypes. Eventually a middle ground is settled of him being a a loner, but still retaining his slick responses and psychological skills, coming off as a bit intimidating and casual while still having a soft side. His fashion is also altered, going from gothic minimalism to a more maximalist style with black accents, and his age, which was originally a pre-teen, is changed to early 20s thanks to the success of young adult leads of previous films.

(Note: As of now, I imagine the lead as having a Chinese father and Malay mother. I am NOT sure if I got naming conventions correct--or the likelihood, for that matter; I gave the protagonist a Chinese surname and a Malay first name.)

Plot

Vermilions are creatures of the dark, dangerous mutants that must be contained--and if necessary, destroyed. But Sarkasi is now a Vermilion, and he hasn't exactly told anyone. Only his sister knows, and while they both know he should turn himself in, they revel in the advantages he has now, from hypnotism to super strength. That said, with the government closing in and a dangerous Vermilion lurking in the shadows, Sarkasi finds that even the darkness can't hide him forever.

Characters

Woon Sarkasi--Before his mutant status as a Vermilion was made apparent, Sakasi was noted for being pretty chill. Nowadays, he isn't quite the same; aside from various superpowers and being easily irritated by sunlight, he's also more sarcastic, bold, and more intimidating. He wears contacts to keep his identity a secret from his family, but with more mutants popping up, it's only a matter of time before they figure it out. To combat strangers from figuring it out, he's taken up a part-time job assisting a (not real) magician, so anything unusual about him is deemed to be fake and part of promoting the magician's act.

Woon Chen Xi--The cooler sibling naturally, she was immediately beloved in her male-dominated family from her brother's perspective, though from hers, her family is very overprotective and vigilant of her every move. When Sarkasi is revealed to be a Vermilion, she uses it as a chance to live vicariously through him, which he finds annoying. That said, despite their occasional animosity to each other, they're grateful for the other's company, and they've grown closer amidst the danger.

Silverwood--What price would one pay to achieve immortality, to achieve eternal youth, and would you continue to pay the price to keep it? It is unknown where Silverwood came from, or if he is the first Vermilion, but his eyes scream of ages past, and his sophistication echoes years of learned behavior and living in luxury. But like all Vermilions, he has his weaknesses, and for some reason, he thinks the solution to them lies with Sarkasi.

Songs

Lights On--Decades ago, the Vermilons, mutants with vampire-like capabilities, have become more prevalent throughout the world. Like vampires, they have an aversion to light, and while the Vermilions are still seen as superstitious nonsense by much of the public, larger cities have poured more finances into electricity, and small businesses have even splurged on bright lights to decorate their buildings to scare off the creatures.

Catch Up (Read Your Mind)--Sarkasi realizes he's a Vermilion and reveals this to Chen Xi, and they do research on what all Vermilions are capable of, with Sarkasi attempting to read her mind and find that their perspectives on her life are quite different. Deciding that he's better off turning himself in to the government, Sarkasi realizes that his sister has doubts that she's not making clear to him. He also tries to hide the fact that he no longer has a reflection or a shadow, which proves difficult.

Not Too Long--When Sarkasi considers turning himself in to the government, he discovers a rebellious Vermilion killed without warning or remorse, and hears that the government is not as sympathetic to the mutants as previously thought. He then grows anxious, now realizing that he isn't just waiting to be "fixed," but now waiting until he's caught.

Feedback--A man called Silverwood announces himself as a Vermilion, and that he will kill everyone in the city if they cannot locate the Vermilion he is looking for (though at this point, he doesn't know that it's Sarkasi; he just "feels" the power coming from a new Vermilion). He also announces that several other Vermilions have joined him due to the unfair treatment they have experienced by the govenment.

Invasion of Privacy--An ensemble number where Sarkasi's family discovers that he is a Vermilion, as well as accidentally disclosing Chen Xi's own feelings about her position in the family, revealing that he's read her mind.

Feedback (Reprise)--Sarkasi turns himself into Silverwood's clutches, unsure of what fate awaits him. As it turns out, he is dying, and seeks to transfer his consciousness into Sarkasi's, who is unique among the Vermilions, having a better resistance to sun damage, as well as his mind reading and hypnotic powers being beyond most of his kind. Of course, to succeed in this experiment means Sarkasi's death, a price Silverwood is willing to pay.

Smile at the Sun--After Chen Xi risks her life to save Sarkasi, Silverwood is left a depowered husk of what he was, while the interrupted process has left Sarkasi on the verge of losing his humanity, making him more in line with a traditional vampire. But when he sees the sunrise for what feels like much more than a few hours, he notices that he has a shadow, and he notices his reflection in the nearby water. He remembers everything he was before being a Vermilion and what he became after, and he wonders what lies in store for him now.

𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 ✰ 𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑹𝒀𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑺𝑨𝑰𝑫 𝑰𝑺 𝑨 𝑱𝑶𝑲𝑬, 𝒔𝒖𝒈𝒈𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒔𝒕, 𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔

y/n sat on the couch eating a plate of fried chicken that danielle brought home for the 3 girls to share after y/n’s SOS message. no matter how much she tried to focus on the chatter from the characters talking on some netflix original they had casted on the television, she couldn’t shake the argument with sunoo from her mind. she knew he was hurting, and that his feelings regarding her were all over the place, unable to control. but so were hers. she was being honest, when she said she would do anything for the pair to get back to how they used to be prior to her leaving. but she was also being honest when she said to her friends that she couldn’t handle the back and forth, her HEART couldn’t handle it. she loved her brother and that will never change. but she needed to protect her heart.

“stop thinking about it babe. i know it’s easier said than done, but there’s nothing you can do right now. he needs his space, and quite frankly, so do you. you have a lot going on and a lot riding on these upcoming exams. not to mention your project with jungwon…” yunjin’s voice trailed off at the end, watching the girls reaction. y/n let out a groan, throwing her head back. “as if today couldn’t get any worse.” danielle took the near empty plate from her before speaking, “y/n, it’s only a few hours and then we all can rot away in the dorm for the weekend together!” she smiles through her attempts to sound cheerful. before she could even respond, a vibration rumbles from under her leg, where her phone sat. “it’s jungwon.” she deadpanned as she read the twitter notification. the girls studied y/n’s facial expressions while she typed away on her phone and their study confirmed that she clearly was NOT in the mood for yang jungwon after the day she’s had.

“remember, just a few hours!” danielle gave a cheerful pat to the girls thigh as she put her phone down with a chuckle. “well he seems to be in a better mood than me today, so hopefully it goes by quickly so i can come home and hibernate.” she mumbles, rubbing her puffy eyes before standing up and dragging her feet along the hardwood floor, to go get ready.

“you would have a peanut allergy.” jungwon hands her a latte he picked for her. a scowl placed its self on the girl’s lips before she could even stop herself. “i’m pretty sure danielle is taller than you, nothing you say can hurt me.” she bit back with a sarcastic smile etched on her face as she sat down, placing her bag on the floor next to her chair, beginning to take her laptop and notebook out of it. “touché. although you’re shorter than both of us.” he spoke triumphantly, taking a seat after her. she chose to ignore his comment, not having the brain power to even consider thinking of a comeback, opting to open her notebook to the page of directions given from their professor.

the two discussed ideas on their project, not making much conversation elsewhere. the atmosphere was relatively quiet, one that some might consider awkward but she found the silence comforting. she knew he could tell she was off, not at her best. and she appreciated him not asking again. she didn’t want to talk about it and he respected that.

jungwon on the other hand was uncomfortable. squirming in his seat and he found himself sneaking short glances at the girl, more times than he cared to admit. he never really took the time to admire her softly sculpted features. the way her long dark hair frames her cute chubby cheeks, and flows down her back, or the way her hazel eyes had a slight twinkle to them in the blue light of her computer, bright enough to beat the glare from her big clear glasses. how she sat with her knees comfortably tucked up to her chest while she jotted down research with her pink pencil in her left hand. he finally was close enough to notice the faint dust of freckles painting her sunkissed skin. ‘that might be my favorite part’. he thought to himself, too deep down the rabbit hole of trances to see her look up at him through her glasses, a small smirk playing at her lips. “careful, jungwon. stare any longer and i might believe you think i’m pretty.” y/n teased, taking a small sip of her latte. jungwon sucked in a breath, shaking his head. “or you just have something on your face.” he shrugged. y/n’s eyes widened as she took her small hands and felt around the skin on her face in a panic, worried that she had made a fool out of herself in front of all the library-goers. jungwon let out a chuckle, “i’m joking.”

she huffed, annoyed at his consistent teasing, sending a glare in his direction. “that’s not funny.” she took one of the wadded up balls of paper she crumpled up prior from her research and launched it at him in retaliation, making him scrunch his face up. “didn’t know you had a sense of humor.” she mused, leaning back in her chair after her tantrum ended. jungwon rolled his eyes resting his elbows on the table. “i’d like to think im very funny, peanut.” he stretched out the ‘nickname’ making sure she heard it loud and clear. “let it go i can’t control if my throat closes up when im near peanuts.” she deadpanned. “for someone who supposedly saves gotham city on the weekends you have a very vulnerable condition.” he chuckled, resting his arms on the table. the girl snorted at his words as she shook her head. “the city needs a hero,” she played along.

you could say the two enjoyed their time spent studying together. not to mention they got a lot of work done, learning that they make a good team. jungwon managed to be a distraction from what y/n had going on personally and he could tell. she was much more alive and talkative by the end of their study session compared to the start. and although he couldn’t tell from one hang out, he started to doubt all the dislike he had swirling in his chest prior. he found her funny and not as much of a headache to be around as he thought. although, he still has his guard up, feeling as though her situation with sunoo was still suspicious. he knew it wasn’t any his business but he still felt like he had to keep his distance.

“well we got some good work done, i’m exhausted. i’m gonna head home.” y/n stood up, packing her belongings away into her bag. “it’s late and the girls dorm is quite the walk from here…” jungwon’s voice trailed off at the end of his sentence as he looked up at her with big eyes. she hummed, letting him continue. “well i should at least offer to walk you home, right?” he quizzed tilting his head. she let out a chuckle, slinging her bag over her shoulder, “what a gentleman. i’ll be okay, thank you for the offer. i will, however give you this so we can stop making plans for the project over twitter dm’s.” she slid a piece of paper over to his side of the table before patting his shoulder, “text me when you’re free to meet again.” leaving jungwon to stare at the paper with her phone number written on it as she walked away.

I watched sifu episode, it was...interesting, like it a bit, I'll give a 8,0, only 8,0 cuz i found a little off the dialogues(I don't imagine our main characters swearing!, idk, it's just weird seeing a sweet lookin old woman and this man swearing that much in a normal conversation)

our main characters don't swear, our main characters are gentleman

YEAH, we were right, it was the father's bracelet, funny, that the episode don't makes you notice that, but yeah, it was

I like that, cuz i know this bracelet has a buddhist and supertitious meaning, and personally i don't see our main characters being a religious and supertitious person, with that makes sense why they use It, it's not because they believe it's because it was from their father,......., cute💧🌸

And me thinking our main characters couldn't be more like daniel (wear a bracelet from a dead loved one)

I-will-adopt-this-kid version!!!!❤️❤️, it's so cuteeee, look like daniel, it's so cute, glad they changed, I want her like that!!!!, at least look like an asian kid now💢

The ending was cute, I feel the old lady recognized him afterward, he asked her if it was worth it in doubt of his own choice(this man being a weakling😒), she grab his hand tighly and respond it, like, "totally", interesting that the old woman caress the hand that has the bracelet as if It's a way of saying "you did for your father and for you, for your peace, don't regret doing something that you wished for so long"

Likes:

•the old woman(I liked the old woman is an interesting thing to imagine in the game, like, it has this old lady in the town that feeds the main characters sometimes, that would make sense how they survived for so long as a child, is just...cute imagine it has one little soul that care about them, and it's an oldie(like their father), a crazy, cute and funny old woman, I like the old woman, found her cute

•the bracelet being something from the father(loved that, i'll totally embrace in the game)

•the new kid version(it just so cute❤️, now i can imagine in peace the main characters as a kid with their father without getting discomforted with that horrible, innaccurate, sexy looking kid version that they put it in the game💢, I love pretty kid characters, but not like that)

•psychopath/gore(loved the psycho vibe, this man kills hard, if you think this man is violent in here, mine woman would be worse than HIM!!!!and I love her for It💕, liked that the gore is a gore that doesn't make me discomforted, it's kinda cool and easy to look at)

•the glass place scene(that segment was very....cool🩸)

•VENGEANCE ENDING/ACCOMPLISHED!! (uhuuu🎇🎆, fuck this yang and his crew, and this lame wude🖕🖕)

Dislikes:

•the swearing (sorry, I can't, it was too much, i don't see them swearing, and this include this man, mine woman wouldn't swear, y'know why mine woman wouldn't swear?,......., because she is emo!🤣, she would be quiet, ha-ha, just kidding, I hate when people call daniel emo, no way call her that too)

•this man young version characterization (too playboy/jerk young Man vibe too me, I don't see him like that, i think he is more manly, mature, gentle and mysterious in the game even as a Young man, right now i'll Go play the game to dissociate, the thing was cool and all, but i don't see this man much...like that,.....,and not even want to, i already despise him a bit in the game🤣, this version just will make me despise him more🤣)

Anna Sawai, Izaac Wang and ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Cast Among Unforgettable Gala Honorees (EXCLUSIVE)

Anna Sawai (“Shogun”), Izaac Wang (“Didi”) and the cast of Netflix’s live-action “Avatar: The Last Airbender” will be honored at the 22nd annual Unforgettable Gala (UNFO).

Produced by GoldenTV and Character Media, the UNFO is the premier Asian American awards gala, honoring the biggest and brightest API talent in entertainment and media. Since 2002, the Unforgettable Gala has grown to become the API community’s longest-running awards ceremony.

“Didi” stars Joan Chen and Wang’s honors for Actor in Film and Breakout in Film, respectively, add more accolades to the indie Sundance award-winning hit’s belt. Meanwhile, Sawai’s win for Actor in TV is yet another victory after her Emmy win for best actress in a drama series.

The “Avatar: The Last Airbender” cast will receive the Vanguard Award at this year’s Unforgettable Gala. Other honorees include Hoa Xuande for his breakout role in “The Sympathizer,” Sean Wang for directing “Didi,” Rachel Kondo for her writing on “Shogun” and “Your Rich BFF” creator Vivian Tu for her work as a digital influencer. 

“Every year, we come together to honor the incredible API talent that continues to push boundaries and break down barriers in Hollywood and beyond,” said GoldenTV CEO Takashi Cheng said in a statement Thursday. “This year’s honorees represent the breadth and depth of API excellence across entertainment, arts and culture.”

The awards are voted and determined by a selection committee co-chaired by Adele Lim and Eugene Lee Yang and including Awkwafina, Bing Chen, Destin Daniel Cretton, Daniel Dae Kim, Lisa Ling, Simu Liu, Randall Park, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Janet Yang and more. Actor Anna Cathcart, CAPE executive director Michelle Sugihara and actor Daniel Wu are among this year’s award presenters.

The gala is set to take place Dec. 14 with a broadcast of the ceremony airing Dec. 18 on ChimeTV and streaming at GetGolden.TV.

2.) This is going to be a 128 person showdown. Because of this there are going to be a few adjustments from how we normally do our polls. First- not all characters will have character descriptions, because we have neither the time or inclination to do so.
