Ruy Iskandar is an Indonesian-born actor, facilitator and coach who guides leaders on powerful storytelling and public speaking. Ruy graduated from NYU Tisch School of Arts. With 15 years of acting experience, he is well-known for his role as Lieutenant Jee in Netflix’s "Avatar: The Last Airbender", as well as for stage performances and shows at Lincoln Centre for Performing Arts, LA Philharmonic, NBCUniversal and more.

This week, Ruy joins us to share the heartfelt lessons he learned from the passing of his beloved mum, sobering wake-up calls from being kicked of school and joining the acting industry. He opens up about how pivotal moments like these have shaped him as an actor, facilitator and coach, and in connecting with his audience, fans, and clients.
