Hardly his most gracious exit -- but when offered the meagre choice between an impendingly imploding spectral dimension and thrusting backwards through a hastily (if conventiently) constructed exit, one can rarely afford the mere seconds it takes to be picky; What drives in that moment is rather a flash of pure instinct, kicking in for the sole purpose of immediate self-preservation, and deciding - with utterly circumstantial certainty - that careening into the depths of the unknown is preferable to instant incineration.

And to the depths he does fare.

Surrounded by a cold embrace, a slow, all encompassing sway; He is, on some level of his - their - somewhat dazed conciousness, absently aware that he appears to be sinking. Through water, most like, which could mean either that he was not too terribly off with his aim, after all... or that he is currently drifting several miles out at sea, lost amidst the dark waves, thus indeed, telling him absolutely nothing of use in regards to his present whereabouts--

Out of all of the people The Ghost King Phantom expected to relate to, it definitely wasn’t the scrawny red headed photographer of the Daily Planet. Jimmy Olsen has gotten so many temporary superpowers over his time being Superman’s friend. Hell, he once gained a 4th dimensional being’s reality warping abilities when he was given said dimensional being’s powers during a fight. Sure there’s a dozen or so heroes with the same amount of powers he has, but none as suddenly granted to them as a all powerful god that can relate to a teenager.

Decided to post some art of Lori Zechlin, aka Black Alice!

She's the magic member of the lil Outlaws and probably their most mischievous member. She just likes having fun, its not her fault nobody else sees how funny she is! She's kinda the baby of the group (she's the youngest member btw) so she gets a little leeway but sometimes the team lose their patience with her.

Due to her extremely impish nature, the other kids sometimes consider her to be a bit of a brat. But they can't deny how OP her powers can be (when it works tho, lol). Her powers, by the way, to steal the magic from other magical users. For only a short time, and sometimes she picks up the wrong magic accidently, she's still new to all this!

Her story is a bit different to canon tho some similarities remain. One day her powers start to appear, Lori starts to have fun with all the random powers she gets. All the trouble she causes grabs the attention of the newly formed Birds of Prey, and so Barbara takes her under her wing. To try to help Lori with her magic (maybe she tries to find magic mentors for her) and protect her, as some bad people have taken notice of someone siphoning the magical powers of others for short bursts of time.

I'm not sure if Lori's mother is already dead, or if I should have her die at some point. I probably should, since her death is an important part of Lori's character.

Its possible Barbara asked Jason if she could join his group of friends, so that Lori won't feel too lonely. Also Lori is kinda exhausting to deal with, what with all her pranks and magical induced chaos. Jason felt that he and Lori were pretty similar in a lot of ways, he identified real hard with her backstory. So he invites her to the team, plus he finds her pranks funny as hell (unless they involved him ofc lol).

Of the team she probably gets along best with Eddie, Courtney, and Owen, Gillian and Jason find her funny as well. Rose and Toni finds her annoying, one of the few things they agree on.

She's such a trouble maker! Barbara has a hard time trying to smooth relations with all the magic users.

Here's her hanging out a younger Night Force, maybe this is a sorta club made to help young magicians control their powers. Lori btw is stealing Tim Hunter's powers atm. Might be too early for Eddie to join, since his powers haven't come in but I wanted him to have 'fun' here too!

Here's Barbara being completely done with all this, looks like Zinda is having some fun with all this. Btw, I'm not sure if I'm keeping the plotpoint of Lori and Charlotte being secret sisters, that felt really random and I'm not sure is even compatible with their backstories? Imma just ignore that, they still find each other annoying tho!

The subject of Kent's age is as a curious one. Theoretically immortal with functional longevity, his own personal clock is seemingly disconnected from the natural passage of time, and rather intrinsically linked with the Helmet of Fate; The more he wears it, the slower his time ticks - so to speak - having moved at a more or less fair pace in his youth while gradually coming to a near-standstill as he dedicated himself fully to the role of Doctor Fate.

It's unclear what would happen should he ever retire - whether the rate of his ageing would revert back to a more natural pace over time, or simply continue to trot along at a fraction of that of a regular man's indefinitely. Regardless, given the vice-like grip Nabu has on him, he's not like to find out anytime in the near future.

happy 1st anniversary to fate/Samurai remnant!

Thus drawing will be posted when it's gonna be the 28th on my twt but I really wanna post it somewhere.

This took me a week to draw! I'm busy with school and other stuff so I got like 2-8 hours a day of work for the last week. Crazy how I didn't get demotivated even once.

Now to praise the game ; I love it. I love it a lot. Firstly being introduced to it by a friend through a DnD campaign it slowly made me get into the Fate franchise itself. But samurai remnant will always stay my favorite entry in the franchise. The characters are amazing, the art and music are amazing and just everything about it is amazing. I really look foward to drawing more fanart for this game!

TLDR; peak game, drew every character (excluding DLC'S).

As an attempt at a polite "going forward" comment...

I do not plan to draw for Three Houses or Hopes for a long while. I know a lot of my followers are from the past four years and I appreciate that you followed me at all! But if you are only interested in the art of those characters I wanted to be clear and say you can unfollow me at any point if what i draw no longer aligns with what you want to see.

I might draw for other FEs (like Heroes or 13/14/17) but I do not want to get involved with 3H any more. I do have other interests and across tumblr, twitter (now inactive), and sometimes on discord I've heard enough "I thought it was (FE3H character)".

This is not one person doing it and it is not simply one character being mistaken. I simply want to distance myself from 3H and have unfollowed a few people that reblog art of it because it just leaves a lingering bad taste in my mouth.

Thank you very much for your time and I hope you can find artists who can provide art for topics you like.
