Tentative Heartless Playlist baybeeeeee

Also head in hands I couldnt quite fit it but go listen to JJ Lin's 修炼爱情 (Practice Love) I swear to god that it fits the story of Heartless entirely or something. I'm just. Not Entirely Convinced Yet. But I swear the vibes are too strong for it not to. This is me shoving old chinese songs at my audience go listen to chinese songs.

#idk im just curious because i oftne see posts that are like ''this song/artist can NOT go on this characters playlist #they would never listen to that''#and it confuses me a little because i thought character playlists were just songs that you like that you associate with the character #not necessarily stuff you think they would listen to. like with character playlists i just pick stuff with lyrics that describe them #regardless of whether they would actually like that song or not #when it comes to songs associated with ocs specifically though i tend to go for a mix of all 3 of these #but again. mostly vibes and story #Also what i mean by vibes is like maybe the style of music sounds like something that would be associated with them #but the lyrics dont really fit them all that much. does that make sense #i probably could have worded it better but oh well. cant edit polls

#byler #stranger things #in all seriousness #finn has already confirmed he listens to music on the way to set to get in the zone for his character #millie and noah have said when asked that he’s the cast-member most likely to be listening to music on set #do I think every song on there is byler-coded? no #do I think he made it specifically for byler fans to witness and read into? no #but i do think there is a middle ground here #since byler is happening... yeah there are gonna be songs that get him in the zone for byler scenes #and yet there are also probably gonna be songs that he likes rn and wants to use to feel inspo for filming in general #aka plenty of songs just there for the way they sound/the vibes that get him more comfortable getting into character #but then again he also could have made the playlist private to avoid people reading into it #he’s known for years people have seen his playlists and hasn’t made those private either #so I don’t think he cares if ppl read into it #(at least for now...)#but fr that drive playlist still haunts me to this day #i remember when he mentioned listening to music to get in the zone for filming #he specifically mentioned that he listened to it when driving to set and ppl went crazy connecting it to his drive playlist lol #so i mean who knows #maybe he makes the names confusing/random but also sometimes with a hint of truth bc he knows people are gonna deny it or read into it #and he's playing with that possiblity #but i wouldn't die on that hill by any means.#but the drive playlist is why idrc if people read into the STurn one bc i mean....#yeah those songs that sound eerily like mike's emotions in regards to will probably are that way for a reason

keep seeing posts about that one playlist posts and I've decided you all make character playlists wrong. they're not about being 100% accurate or sounding cohesive they're about putting any and every song that so much as reminds you of that character and, most importantly, having fun

#seriously do you guys not put songs that don't even remotely fit the character but inexplicably remind you the character in playlists?#what about ones where the lyrics dont fit but the song tune or style or tone does?#or the meaning doesn't fit but the imagery that meaning is told with does?#what about songs that have associations to how they're used in media that fit a character but the song itself doesn't #gets kinda mad about this sorry im just. shut up they dont need to be pretty or cohesive or perfect what the hell are you all talking about #if youre a perfectionist about your playlists thats a you problem leave me out of it #joyousposting #arrow pointing at me. guy who is like the opposite of a perfectionist and gets frustrated with stuff like that. who give a shit
