you know what? I’m board soooo um I do this sometimes:

(Yes, half of these are still WIP’s. Tbh I finished most of them but forgot to post them and I don’t have my tablet on me to update them so I will update them but not rn)

But you know what, requests are open.

I’ll do pretty much any character (I’ll do research and might turn away your character if I feel uncomfortable but don’t foresee such an event happening but will put that out there) you can choose a style examples, casual, formal, Avent guard, couture, grunge, etc (no lingerie) you can choose male, female, other. You can give a mood board with examples of style/character (make them PG pls if you need an idea how to do that I’ll give an example) you can chose a color scheme/palette. You can choose some roots like an ào dài, Han fu, ect. (You get the idea) And you can chose body types (please be specific cause finding/making croquis is actually really hard cause I’m very picky)

Session 0 was great, I met my campaign mates and Jade and it was such a safe space when making our characters 🖤 she started pulled everyone aside after the zoom call to work on backstory and I was first!

So this version of Betty is the eldest and the most lethal and takes place in Curse Of Strahd

Instead of a Shavali, she’s Vistani — which is the inspiration behind Shavali anyway, so most her backstory is true to her original. However, during a trip in the caravan, they were all ambushed by a vampire — whomst killed every last family member and didn’t even bother to rob the bodies. Out of entertained spite, it bit Betty, instantly turning her and laughing in the face of someone who was too weak to save her deceased family. This is also a tie to her greatest fear/weakness in her original story — being powerless to stop death from taking her loved ones. This also comes into play with her meeting ratfolk and attempting to protect them as well finding an understanding in being misunderstood and feared even when some are docile and innocent — but they were all killed as well at one point due her to inability to get to them in time. When Betty begged the town for help as a Dhampir, they all only saw her as just a bloodsucker — and assumed she killed her own family and the ratfolk. Rejecting her, they didn’t even give the bodies a proper burial, simply taking the belongings and leaving.

The mechanics are the same as Dhampir though since that is still her set race but Jade decided to give me an opportunity to go gradually batshit in the campaign by offering vampire spawn.

So, she’s slowly going mad with voices. She abides by a dark sire and drinks the blood from him in order to gain ridiculous power that heavily supports her barbarian class but also drastically fucks up her mental health. I don’t plan to have her drink blood unless there’s some real fucked shit going on though so she’ll be a Dhampir for a good bit as she struggles through the voice.

She does still have her primal beast, it’s just called the primal path of the beast and acts similarly to how she would as her beast. I get to finally do the vampiric screeches too >:))) Jade and I are both voice actor hobbyists with a drive for theatrics so we were really honing down on detail and flavor.

I can’t wait for next Friday for session 1. I’ve never done a full barbarian verse of Betty since she was always chosen as druid or shaman. This is going to get FUUUUCKED and I’m SO here for it.

Adding a new hero or princess to the cast introduces a whole new variable. Much like when TotK was released, it would have taken something extraordinary and mind-blowingly inspiring for me to make such a big change to LU. As for EoW, while it was a fun and memorable adventure through Hyrule, it didn’t quite reach the level needed to be a permanent part of LU. I really like this Link, but the story’s simplicity and lack of a first/second-person perspective make it hard to build on. Plus, this game is more about Zelda than Link, and if anyone were to be featured, it would be her. While EoW may not be groundbreaking, it’s still a charming and significant part of the Zelda universe. I’d love to give this Zelda a special role in LU later in the story. Either a special guest, a cameo or some sort of significant contribution to LU.

That said, I’ve already redesigned her for LU, and since she’s not a major character in the cast, I’m excited to share her now!

Design thought prosses: Most of the girls in LU haven’t been revealed yet, but some embrace their royal identity in their attire. This Zelda gave me the chance to redesign a princess without the usual regal aesthetics. Similar to zelda's blue maiden dress and Skyloft outfit this outfit was to have a more humble look that blends into everyday commoner attire. But In contrast, SS Zelda is vibrant, with Skyloft giving off a feeling of saturated, contrasting colors, much like their avian companions. EoW, however, has a more wholesome, toy-like style, and I wanted her design to reflect more light pastels with calmer saturations. Also the art style it'self in EoW and LA remake is very simple, a redesign didn't need much embellishments. I think after focusing on drawing the boys for so long, I was excited to explore delicate youthful femininity—so I went with a cutesy vintage-doll meets cottagecore mood board to set her look.

No inc*st or p*dophilia - we can’t keep you from writing it or creating art for it but it won’t be reblogged. No inc*st: This rule does not apply to distant cousins and such, as you might find in the LotR fandom (or basically in all of European Monarchy). The line we draw is at direct blood relations (siblings, parents, kids) and/or legal guardianship. No p*dophilia: This rule does not rule out fandoms that feature teenagers such as Harry Potter, Heartstoppers, Hunger Games, etc. It also doesn't mean you can't write about their time together as teenagers! It's aimed at ships in which one is a minor and the other is not - but since even that has grey areas, the rule is this: if you keep it SFW, all is good and allowed, we don't care; if it turns NSFW, be mindful of the legalities of the world/society/times your characters live in.

No hate or ship bashing - we’re all different and we all love different things. As long as it doesn’t go against rule #1, it’s allowed.

There’s absolutely no word count restriction, write as little or as much as you like.

In regards to art, anything goes: drawings, paintings, collages, mood boards, gif sets, videos, playlists… the sky’s the limit (though not really…). If you would like to create a podfic, the fic you're using does not have to be new - your creation will be new!

You can mix and mash different mediums however you like, be it within one prompt or on different days.

While we can’t force you to write fluff or create fluffy art, please try to keep in mind that this is a fluff event 😉 that, of course, doesn't mean you can't combine it with angsty/whumpy prompts - hurt/comfort is absolutely welcome!

You can start creating as soon as you see this - but please refrain from posting before the respective day.

If you post early, we will schedule your post for the correct day; if you use multiple prompts in one creation, we will post on the earliest day you used.

You can participate on as many days as you like, even if it’s just one; you can also create multiple entries for the same day.

You can replace as many original prompts as you like with our prompt extras; you can also combine them with the original prompts or create for them in addition, that's completely up to you.

It’s okay to write one story/a series for all the prompts.

how to make shifting process more entertaining & not loose motivation

make dr playlists: this is genuinely so much fun. it helps a lot with setting the mood & you could listen to it when unmotivated.

spice up your affirmations: for example, instead of saying basic affs ("i am in my dr") you could be more deilusional & rant like if you were actually there, or highlight things about your dr to motivate you. e.g: "i am in my harry potter dr and omg why did i thought this was a good idea my butt is BURNING from all the walking... hogwarts is TOO fkn big, yesterday fred almost casually blew up a hallway n i had to run for my life. this is a call 4 help..." (directly copied and pasted from my friend's notion ☝️☝️). you can even create stories and use them as affirmations

create a shifting journal: TOP TIER TIPS. there you can write entries as if you were in your dr - not only it helps with visualizing and manifesting but also you can write down everytime you try, things you liked and disliked & symptoms you had to help you understand what works for you

pinterest wardrobe boards: self explanatory. this can also be made with your dr aesthetic in general

change methods weekly/monthly & try fun methods: in my opinion, the most fun methods are the lucid dream method, adhd method, and void state method, but that's up to you

bonus: try to shift during full moon. not because it increases your posibilities to shift (it does NOT, the moon phase has nothing to do with shifting unless you assume it does ofc) but because it's super cool as a concept, like "today's full moon so i can go to a paralel reality"?? IDK it just gives main character energy. i love shifting when it's full moon

this week is all about your artistic identity ... technically, you don't have to draw anything new this week if you have some art that already fits. the starter days are:

1 ⭐ self portrait who are you? it doesn't have to be you IRL .. if you feel more comfortable drawing a fursona or mascot, that's fine too! if you don't wanna draw, you can also just share old self portraits today and talk about why you drew yourself that way!

2 🤍 inspirations see how this day doesn't have a star? that means it's optional and you don't have to do it at all! but if you really wanna- tell us all about what inspires you to create art! this could be anything from the people that inspire you, the shows you like, the pins on your big messy pinterest board, or concepts that you're drawn to! you can draw something about it, talk about it, or just post your inspirations! anything is fine

COLOUR WEEK

this is the week for playing with palettes and working on your colour theory skills! if you're really struggling with these ones, don't worry about drawing scenes or characters, you can just have fun splashing colours around on an abstract canvas!

11 🤍 RGB a set or primary colours typically used in digital/screen art - red, green and blue!

12 🤍 CMYK a set of primary colours typically used in traditional/print art - cyan, magenta, yellow ... and key (black!)

for both of these days ↑ you can add in black and white. and feel free to combine the two days into one, if you're struggling with a three-colour palette! use all six!

13 ⭐ WARM COLOURS the warm side of the colour wheel, reds oranges and yellows!

14 🤍 MONOCHROME monochrome doesn't mean black and white ... it means one colour! that can be any colour at all- shades of red, shades of purple, shades of green .. or yeah, grey if you really want!
