AI might be good in many fields - but NOT IN ANY KIND OF ARTISTIC CREATIONS, be that writing, painting, drawing, composing, and, and, and!

Using AI in these areas is a DISGRACE to humans who put their sweat, tears, and blood into every word they write and every stroke they paint.

DO NOT BRING AI INTO OUR WORLD OF CREATIVITY!

No AI will ever be as real and as good as what the human imagination can actually produce!

So for those of you who have doubts, who wonder, "my work will never be good enough, should I even bother?" or, "it's so short, will it even be enough?" or, "this is so niche, will anyone even care?" please remember this:

Every word written by yourself, every doodle scribbled by yourself, every single creation that comes from your own mind, your own imagination, your own hands will ALWAYS have more meaning, more heart, and more soul, and will therefore ALWAYS be infinitely more wholesome, more cherishable, and definitely superior to anything ever created by AI, no matter how far technology will someday evolve.

Keep AI in fields where it actually helps - but keep it out of places that should and hopefully always will belong to the human soul!

This is mostly getting posted so I can track which prompts I’m doing for @flufftober and which of the alts I’m subbing in for which days or what prompts I’m blending. This is also to give my followers a vague idea of what to expect. As I have in the past, all fics will be for the K-Drama W: Two Worlds! Possibly different is that I might actually dabble with the idea of writing for both the main pair and an unexpected ship someone (@ace-in-a-shopping-cart) proposed for the same show that I could definitely see potentially happening (Seo Do Yoon/Yoon So Hui) and want to try to write fic for.

Fandom Free Bingo - August Chaos, Mark II

Everybody deserves a month off. And so, last August, we decided to run August Chaos - premade, static cards, that y'all can take if you'd like, but without any sign up this month.

Yeehawgust 2025: Stars of the Midnight Range

Time to get back in the saddle, folks! It’s time for Yeehawgust year 7 and there are starry skies ahead.

Yeehawgust features daily art prompts as well as alternative weekly prompts, for those of us who are a bit slower on the draw. Don’t draw at all? No problem! do you have more events to recommend?

We do try to collect a lot of other challenges/events that are advertised on tumblr (or some other places sometimes), but we're only a small team and not active in every fandom.

That's why we always encourage people to send us links to more events if they would like us to share them.

That being said, the links we do have, we usually share the weekend before the month they take place in (or if their sign-up closes in that month) - for example, this weekend, I gave a shout-out to all events we know of that take place in August... (okay, yes, I know it was Monday... I was moving on Sunday and was tired, sorry 😅)

The tag we use for these shout-outs/boost is #fluff boost

So as of now, I don't have anything else for August, sorry. @fandom-free-bingo usually posts their new event on the 1st of every month, and we always try to give it a timely shoutout. Other than that, recommendations for September events will be posted towards the end of August.

If anyone knows of any other events and would like us to promote them (either multifandom ones or those catering to a specific fandom), feel free to send us an ask 💚

I was wondering if it’s okay to switch or swap a non-alt prompt from one day to another day without needing to combine it with another prompt?

I want to do “Hosting A Holiday Event” but the holiday I’m thinking about writing for is Chuseok since I write fic for a K-Drama ship. Chuseok lands on October 5th to the 7th this year and I would love to be able to post the fic on one of those 3 days (I’m speaking optimistically in the hypothetical situation where my ADHD and muse cooperate with me so I can actually manage to finish writing it in time).

Would something like this be possible?

We do encourage people to stick to the given order, but we won't be mad if you switch it up 😉 the only thing that will happen is that we won't reblog it until the "correct" day (the 13th in this case). If you don't care about that, feel free to go for it. Also, your reasoning makes a lot of sense, I would probably do the same if I were you (also given I would be able to produce something on time 😅)

And damn, do we know how you feel 😅 that one year I got some fics done in advance felt so weird; this year, two of our mods are already whining in our chat that it isn't October yet because they're ready to post 😂 it truly can be torture - but I hope you'll be able to keep them hidden until their time comes 😊

I have two @flufftober fics ready, and neither of them is pure fluff. On other hand Jadder might not be very pure fluff pairing anyways. But I will write something fluff-adjacent, like hurt & comfort with cuteness.

Not sure will I write something for every prompt and will I take jump to other pairings, but feels weird to need to wait till October till I can publish these.

Nope, there's no rule about that at all - go with what feels best.

Obviously some of the prompts are loosely aimed at October themes, for example the costume one or the pumpkin one, and yes, the "hosting a holiday event" prompt is on day 13 because that's Canadian Thanksgiving - but none of that matters. If these prompts inspire something entirely different in you, go with it 😉
