They're additional extra prompts, Alt 11 to Alt 25, and you can use them the same way you would use the regular additional prompts.

Clarification on the "no incest" rule

Because I'm already getting questions...

For this bracket, I'll generally be defining incest as "a romantic or sexual relationship between characters who are biologically related." For example, no Joyce/Buffy/Dawn or any of its sub-pairings.

Pseudo-incest is alright. For example, Buffybot/Dawn. Some may also consider sire/progeny vampire 'ships, like Darla/Drusilla, to be pseudo-incest. These types of ships are also OK.

Self-cest and pseudo-selfcest are also OK, for example, vampire!Willow/Willow or Buffy/Buffybot.

Again, this is not a morality judgement on any ship. I personally have a squick, and I also want to (hopefully) avoid the worst of the angry anons.

However, you have the options on your interest & 'prompt' forms to state if you as both a gifter and giftee are not comfortable with this. How do I send references for an OC if I want to ask for one? Can't find anywhere in the signup form to submit pictures so uhhhh I'm confused

If your references are posted somewhere, for example, through Google Drive link, or on any of your social media, then you can place them in "Anything else you'd like to let the mods or your gifter know?" section.

Just be sure that the links you share are ones that are easily available for your gifter to access. Worse case, we can directly email your gifter your references.

For rule n.1 - I've been really inspired by a prompt but it would be an incest ship. If I write it but don't put it in the collection/tag it for tumblr - can I still acknowledge it's from Flufftober and put it in my private flufftober series without involving you?

Secondly, is it okay if there's some reference to past canonical incest? For reference it's a game of thrones fic where one character in the main paring used to be in an incestuous relationship, and I want to briefly touch on that. Is that okay if it's not the main focus and it's not longer romantic?

And yes, both of these are totally fine. Of course, we won't keep anyone from getting inspired by our prompts, so you can create whatever your muse wants you to do. We won't even control whether you add it to the ao3 collection since that won't be moderated. The only difference, as you've already noted, is that we won't reblog it on our blog. And yeah, the second one is also fine 😊

How humorous it is to say that I, a traveler like me who can never stay in one place for long, would be holding such an event. It is an event that is typically reserved for those who stay put and collect, to then find themselves overcrowded with bobbles and trinkets to find the need to regift them - for a price of course.

But it appears that my little shop has been around for a year now, and I suppose that due to that homely nature I find with keeping it, I too have turned into those creatures that make it a habit to sell their old belonging.

After all, a year's worth of clutter must be dealt with, even for a peddler such as myself. And I have always found that it is better to give things no longer needed away than to sell them; generosity is in my nature after all.

So please, dear traveler, have a look around at all the trinkets, charms, and books you see upon my shelves and see if one catches your eye or even heart.

After all, trash can become a treasure in the right hands
