Pokémon-themed bento to wrap up the month of February!

If you're a '90s momma like myself, you probably spent Friday nights tuning in to a local network (GMA 7), waiting for Pokémon: Indigo League to air.

But there are more beyond the original 150 pokémons we all knew and loved. Here are some mythical/next-generation pokémons that my son Kyren requested.

✨ Skitty ✨ Fennekin ✨ Chikorita ✨ Shaymin

And who would forget this fiery, first-gen pokémon Ponyta that evolves into Rapidash?

But the highlight of my Pokémon-themed creations was this special nori art I made for an ausome kid, a son of a good friend, who loves Charmander and Bulbasaur so much! 🧡💚

I know how tough motherhood can be, and I can only imagine how much more challenging it is when you're raising a child on the spectrum. This order reminds me why I do what I do—to bring joy to kids through food! ❤️ That's why I make sure every meal I serve is made with so much love, no matter how intricate the details are.

I'm sure many of us fell in love with the bento trend during the lockdown, but it's more than just a meal in a box. For us moms, it has become a beautiful expression of creativity, convenience and balance. It's fun, almost therapeutic, and can heal one's inner child in the most imaginative way.

Most importantly, it represents my love as a mom; that through every little character I incorporate into their meal, my kids would always feel close to home. Food is my love language, and nothing encapsulates this love better than the colorful bento boxes I carefully curate every morning.

It's a daily reminder that no matter how busy life gets, there’s always room for love. ♡
