for charans 1 year birthday (since september 26 2020 was the day i made the fusion) and the what if au if chara had been slightly faster in Animosity to SOUL fuse with sans before he died

And so im working on this, charans and his whole family watching a meteor shower together

*No asgore cuz i guess he got sent back to jail for killing 6 human children since he was in there for like a day then the betty fiasco happened so ye, thats why hes not present

I was thinking about how Killer can canonically speak Arabic because his creator can, and the HC that he didn’t know English by the time Nightmare picked him up and so Cross and Horror probably had to try and teach him it (and also Murder, who speaks Korean), and was wondering about how that went down in the context of Something New & his partnership with Chara.

Did everyone in this alternate timeline speak Arabic and that’s one of the major differences from the original AU, or did Sans speak English until he was transformed into Killer!Sans? How did Chara react to that, a man lies down on a bed of flowers speaking English while his entire being changes, and when he awakes bro starts yapping Arabic at them?

Did Chara attempt to teach Killer English, or did they take advantage of the fact that no one else in the Underground understands Killer and taught themself how to speak the language? It’d definitely help create a sense of “togetherness” and “oneness” between them if no one understands Killer but Chara.

Did Killer learn some English words from Chara? I bet they were all mostly insults and threats and simple commands he recognizes 💀.

But I’ve always been of the idea that the two of them don’t really actually need words or language to understand eachother, especially as they spend more time together. Their SOULs are connected, and they spent decades observing eachother. With Chara meticulously taking Killer apart and reframing him into what they want him to be.

They can communicate with a single glance, a twitch of the face, and a seemingly nonsense gesture. I’m sure their SOULS allow them to feel intent from eachother as well. They’re a well oiled machine by the time their partnership comes to an end, but I’m sure their partnership actually ended some time ago when Chara didn’t recognize how Killer was changing.

But goes like sans was falling down and was getting more worse each day, someone must have injured him really hard because he was not that old yet.(They still don't know who) But chara and frisk met each other again after the first genocide player did, chara was basically telling frisk to reset and maybe try finding a way to stop in the secret lab while frisk kept refusing it.(The player did a few of pacifist route because they were feeling guilty)It went back and forth until chara finally tells another solution which requires frisk soul to make it work, frisk agrees to the solution because this meant be the only chance they have left.

A few days later after sans staying in the room and only eating when food is at the door, sans appears in the kitchen in the morning looks like he got the ketchup but he seems different. With a human eye on one of the eyes with another pair of hands and a different shirt and with vines all over his spine.. and a necklace that looks like...

He seems like he's old self but more menacing..

The Underground: The Ruins → The Depths

The deepest part of the Underground. The Depths are composed of dark, volcanic caverns and serve as the entrance to the rest of the Underground.

Snowdin → Clearwater

A tropical paradise with a resort at its heart, run by Gerson Boom. It's considered the nicest part of the Underground and many monsters wish to live here.

Waterfall → Forestgrove

Forestgrove has a temperate climate, lush vegetation, and fields of Golden Flowers. The vast tangle of forest makes it easy to get lost in, unless you know your way around.

Hotland → Highpeaks

A vast and densely populated city built into craggy cliffsides of the Underground. The city features many apartments, restaurants, shady back alleys, and the Royal Science center.

THE CORE

Located within Highpeaks is the large cold-fusion reactor facility that supplies the Underground with electricity. It was created by the former Royal Scientist.

New Home/The Capital

The highest point of the Underground. Just beyond it is the Barrier, but seldom few live here anyways. The frosted-over castle is always decorated like it's Christmas Eve.

Important info: OTHERSWAP is not being developed as a fangame, mod, comic, or anything of that nature. This is just an AU setting created for funsies. It is not trying to replace or "improve" the original Underswap AU.

This AU was first conceptualized shortly after the release of DELTARUNE Chapter 2. At the time of posting, there is no official design for Dess or Mayor Holiday. Dess' design may be changed in the future if she ever appears in official UTDR content and Mayor Holiday has not been included in OTHERSWAP at all. Although she takes the role of Toriel in this AU, Dess is still the eldest daughter of Rudolph Holiday and is treated accordingly. This AU has decided to replace the Dreemurrs with the Holidays as they also exist within UNDERTALE canon (UNDERTALE 5th Anniversary Alarm Clock Winter Dialogue - Asgore, UNDERTALE Xbox port exclusive dialogue).

Not gonna lie, we need more GOOD UNDERTALE AU outcodes... ya' know, the guys who go around the multiverse doing stuff with their own specific goals

I mean, we definitely have them, but it's sad that the last "Big" outcode to ever reach a greater audience was this sad mistake of an Error clone.

I mean, I'd highly suggest looking into stuff like Stitchau, Poppy's story, the ALIVE AU and No!sansverse (which is basically a take on the sansverse that de-sansifies the OUTCODE sanses, this sad sack of rooftop swordsman brainrot included), but it's unfortunate this guy gets more publicity than these three... we need more input from the community.

I don't want to insult or spread hate about undertale outcodes, AUs, or what have you; a lot of them were made by people who were genuinely trying to do something interesting- and unfortunately, everyone's favourite character at the time (and still the majority of the fandom's, probably) was Sans, so he always got the most attention. I can't complain a lot about that, considering I myself am also incredibly guilty of favouritism.

What I think is that a lot of what people were doing could be better expressed and made more interesting if different characters were used, and it didn't become a confusing mess of "Wait. Who's from where??" for me, personally. My brain is very small and can only handle so much.

But, along those lines, I'll share my thoughts that went into Ink!Chara and Ink!Asriel, to try and better make a point- the void, or anti-void, whatever it may be, is a neat concept, but I never really understood it myself- so I kind of made my own interpretation of it with my minimal knowledge.

The whole thing behind these two was that it's stated in-game that no one knows what would happen if a human and monster soul fused- so for all we know, the fusion could be incredibly unstable. Perhaps game-breaking. And along the lines of not knowing what would happen, it's even less known what would happen upon defeat- considering that a monster soul cannot persist for long after death (provided said monster is a boss monster), and a human's can persist for God knows how long.

What if this contradiction led to a huge bug in the already unstable game, and in order to save itself from a crash, the game just. Completely drops the souls? Shoves them out of the way to get everything working again once they were no longer active. We know for a fact that both Chara and Asriel (now Flowey's) souls are seemingly gone, so why not do something with that?

Ink!Chara and Ink!Asriel are separate entities from basegame Chara and Flowey, in that they are their souls and only their souls. My point is.

There are so many ways to make these outcodes more interesting (at least to me) just by using different characters and throwing things at the wall. Once again, nothing against the originals; without them I wouldn't even be having these ideas.

UWU Infection Never add a U to UW. This is a post barrier timeline where a UwU virus spreads terrorizing Ebott's Town. Frisk, as the monster's ambassador, will have a lot of work to do to ensure everyone's safety from the cute virus.

REDress Previously known as the "Amalgamate" timeline, now it was completely rewritten. The families of the amalgamates took revenge on Sans and Alphys, injecting them too with Determination, melting them into amalgams as well...

War Rewind Flowey and Sans mess with the resets, mistakenly send themselves back to the time of the war between humans and monsters. Flowey dies, but Sans, adopting baby Chara to save them from their fate, allows Asriel to survive in the future and become king. Now all humans who fall underground will be treated as friends. This timeline was fairly inspired by Timetale! And also by my chats with @ask-dcf :3

Hopeless Timeline Flowey grows bored, and decides to torture Sans with Save Files and Resets to see how far that would go. The story then starts to take interesting turns as I RP it. KOB (kingdom of blood)

An AU where everyone in the underground is a vampire. The main focus is on the trio, the couple Chara and Frisk and Asriel, a womanizer. Both are of legal age

QOT (Quintet of Trouble)

Muffet, Flowey, Gaster, Chara and Frisk, cause trouble where they are, (Sans appears only when they arrive in the rewritten timeline), Frisk and Chara are 17 years old, and Chara is currently the adoptive father of two children.

BG (Broken Gensokyo)

Frisk and Chara end up falling through Yukari's portal into the Gensokyo underground, where they have to learn to protect themselves against the Youkais. They are both 15 years old. Frisk is adopted by the Komeiji family and Chara is adopted by Sakuya.

Ask

Frisk and Chara were on a passive route when there was a problem with the timeline, trapping them in a white void. Frisk has a magic wand that brings Chara back to life. Both are 16 years old.

Frisk and Chara are childhood friends, fascinated by the world of anime, both 14 years old, very close, they have never fallen underground.

Friks and Chara are twin sisters, they lost their parents when they were around 6 years old, today they are both 8 and are the adopted daughters of QOT chara.

Eviltale or just Evil

It takes place after a genocidal route, for some reason the reset doesn't work, Chara suspects that this has to do with Gaster (who she calls Melt Face). She had destroyed Frisk's soul as she normally does, but for some reason Frisk's soul returned, but a soul from the passifist route. The age of both is unknown

Council of the Chara

A group that helps (or kidnaps) Chara from the multiverse, to deal with any problems, and avoid Chara who have great powers to destroy the multiverse.

Rewritten timeline

Any au (with Rere's authorship) that has been rewritten gets a home on the timeline, Rere likes to save people trapped in their own aus. He saved Shade!Chara by adopting him and placing him as a timeline vigilante.

Rere is a being who doesn't just belong in Undertale, but in any game with a rewritten story. He helps rewrite and edit the new versions. He is a fusion of Chara and Frisk. His form is that of a pen, and his items vary from cell phones to computers, typewriters and papers.

Be polite, don't repeat the same question, and don't insist on the same question.

I altered the characters slightly however for my part to have charans (fusion of GTSans/Chara) and Bara (Betty and storyshift Chara fused) this was mostly made for funsies, plus i kept seeing other peoples coloring of camis sketch, and after FINALLY finding the original i wanted to do my own too lol. (plus i wanted an excuse to draw charans again and ye~)

When I was watching an episode of Underverse one time, i remember that moment between Ink and Fresh when they became Fresh! Ink.

Do you think anyone else can fuse together, permanently or temporarily, or who might have the potential for that? Or is it impossible and only Fresh can do it? (I like to think that he is not subject to time and space, as well as the plot)

From what I can tell, Fresh can do that because he is a parasite. I’m pretty sure he feeds off his host’s souls, and it’s actually very painful for the hosts, but Ink is soulless—and I remember that if they ever lost their vials, they’d become an empty husk and Ink could easily be controlled by another, im pretty sure.

However, the “husk” thing doesn’t happen in Underverse, but I’m assuming Ink’s soullessness may have had played a factor in how Fresh!Ink came to be? I’m not completely sure.

As for everyone else fusing, at least when it comes to Fresh, it mostly just seems to be a possession thing with him. Those without or with different souls such as Killer’s may be effected differently too.

But also according to Undertale, fusion between monster and human souls just seems to be a thing; given that Chara and Asriel did it before. We also see such things like with Delta!Sans, Seraphim, and Color. So fusion is likely possible in various different forms—just maybe not as often for Fresh? Or it’s not his preferred way of doing things.

Pretty sure I did a long time ago but I can't find the post so you get the updated answer. Which is that there's no specific ages for the whole cast, it's more a question of age ratios (+they all aged a bit since it's a Surface AU).

For example, the Sanses are a few years apart, but they're always the big brothers. Same goes for the Papyruses, different age, always the little bro.

Sans, Alphys and Undyne are roughly the same age, while Papyrus is slightly older than BP and the teen crew. Toriel and Asgore are both much older than any Monsters.

Frisk and MK are minors (according to Human and Monster criteria) and are younger than Chara and Asriel before the whole fusion fiasco, etc.

It's okay if you're confused, my brain works in mysterious ways. *sob*

Also, Monsters have a longer lifespan than Humans in this AU, so they probably care less about their exact age anyway, ahah. This isn't me being lazy.

The Thought: a summary.

As stated last entry, ATs like this may date back further than they seem due to an unidenfied variable in each timeloop that sometimes allows Sans to remember them. Whatever this variable, it has so far been one of the earliest signs within the "Undertale" timeframe that a branch is imminent, and the odds of it taking effect seem to rise the longer a streak of high-LV timeloops goes unbroken.

This is another AT in which Sans can remember. He had been doing due diligence to keep his behavior consistent between loops to avoid detection, however...

At some point, Sans had the thought that the timeloop could end on a [no mercy] loop, never to undo the massacre.

So Sans panicked, killed Frisk where he usually welcomed their arrival into the forest and successfully captured their SOUL before they could Reload or Reset.

He attempted to turn the SOUL in, but his majesty Asgore couldn't bring himself to take it. He had lost his resolve to break the Barrier for fear of humankind finishing off monsterkind.

This seemed to drive Sans over the edge, as he then made a rash decision.

He took the six remaining SOULS and absorbed them to break the Barrier himself.

The decision was made with haste and desperation, not forethought. Sans found out too late that he couldn't simply undo his fusion with the SOULs.

Meanwhile, Papyrus had found Frisk's body, he and Undyne brought it to... Alphys, who tracked its SOUL to New Home, her majesty Toriel also arrived at the castle shortly after the breaking of the Barrier, and there was a brief scruffle with Asgore, then Undyne, and then Sans before the fight was broken up. While Sans was given some space outside for a few hours, everyone else had a serious discussion. Papyrus was promoted to the royal guard, and his first job was to monitor Sans while– while Alphys spent the following two weeks modifying the DT extractor to handle seven human SOULs at once.

To keep the situation with the SOULs from going public, Sans was to use an alias while his current form made him unrecognizable, calling himself Papyrus' cousin Wing Dings.

During the wait, Sans discovered that he could hold conversations with the reawakened SOULs and discovered that Frisk's own SOUL had a stowaway. They... Chara... argued with Frisk over which of them made the choice to kill anyone, until Sans himself mentally stepped between them seeing that they both assumed the other made them do it.

...At least from there, they were able to move forward with talking to each other.

When Sans was finally brought to the DT extractor... it did not go as planned. It was only by 0.1 at a time, but... as Alphys had feared when she saw he had a max of 1HP... the extractor was hurting Sans. When he was down to 0.2HP, the absorbed SOULs panicked and made Sans do the only thing they could think of: teleport.

But not knowing enough about how it works, they'd sent themselves out-of-bounds. Into the nowhere.

And

found it.

they could view the source code of our world.

Sans already suspected it from Frisk and Chara's argument. there was a third party overseeing their choices.

he could extrapolate from what he saw that there were input commands bound to Frisk. and frighteningly, even though their influence was limited to the "UNDERTALE" timeframe in which Frisk enters and exits Mt. Ebott, access to Frisk's SAVE persists even after they return to the surface.

their Determination. their Resets. their power. from the moment they fell through the Barrier, it wasn't theirs alone to use.

...but even with the human SOULS weakened by the extractor, Sans could break into this code.

Before he could, however, the real Wing Dings, Dr. Gaster, interrupted. He tried to dissuade Sans from interfering with the codes, warning him that their timeline was already in danger from him taking it this far off-course and that the consequences would be dire if he tampered with the "outside influence's" connection to our world.

Dr. Gaster insisted that Sans should Reset while he still could, but while Sans didn't want to fight him over this, Frisk's SOUL spoke through the Gaster Blaster above Sans' head to say they still wanted to reach for this chance at freedom.

A fight broke out. All the human SOULS parried and counterstruck through Sans, though none of their attacks against Dr. Gaster landed. As they fought, Sans reasoned to Frisk and Chara that any code he could change could also be changed back by whoever or whatever uses it to access this world. By then, as the mental fatigue brought on by existential dread caught up to him, Chara took possession of his body for a more aggressive assault, eager to steal back control of what was left of their life. They couldn't use Sans' blue magic without using it on their own SOULS, so they proceeded with giant knife-shaped bullets until they gained the upper hand.

...The other SOULs intervened before Chara could deal a killing strike, forcing them to hesitate.

Dr. Gaster saw an opportunity to make a move for Sans' SOUL, which was already in a fragile state, but Frisk's SOUL in the Gaster Blaster head intercepted at their own expense. This drew Dr. Gaster's attention, but only long enough to infuriate Chara and Sans, at which point he finally backed down and retreated.

...Without further distractions, Sans resumed inspecting the code he could read while the SOULS talked among themselves.

After weighing the options between continuing and Resetting, Sans had his passengers put it to a vote until it was up to Frisk to break the tie.

...At this point, their timeline seems to have branched between the two choices. But only long enough for one of the branches to Reset and resume the same timeloop. The other branch, meanwhile, relocated the source code to finish cutting off the "outside influence," after which Sans figured out a way to teleport back into their timeline and Frisk restated their proposition to ask Alphys to transfer all the absorbed SOULS to robots like Mettaton.

Akarui Gaster & the dark demon: Gaster a good father to papy and sans, great uncle to Asriel, Chara even tho he was human and later undyne also well good son to his dead father that didn't tell him his mother was a human explains why he can switch to a human form but something changed inside of him, his emotion after all stress, and training sans to much to the point of breaking and a young alphys to scared to watch yet traumatized by Everything, that he snap falling into his own work into the core but fusion with the demon putting that dark idea in Chara mind his new experience.

The dark demon an old accident demon that changed the old undertale game into reality and shaping into a world of pure dark but light, tricking Gaster into fusion with him and then Chara for the plan, finally to Asgore after all that happened to infect the whole underground with darkness until there be a least one light of hope to stop it all.

El demonio oscuro es un viejo demonio accidental que cambió el viejo juego de Undertale en realidad y le dio forma a un mundo de pura oscuridad pero luz, engañando a Gaster para que se fusionara con él y luego con Chara para el plan, finalmente con Asgore después de todo lo que pasó para infectar todo el subsuelo con oscuridad hasta que haya al menos una luz de esperanza para detenerlo todo.
