Dragon Age: The Veilguard has 700 characters and 80,000 lines of dialogue (140,000 lines including all the Rooks) in it: [link] They started casting the acting talent 5 years ago and have been working on it since.

Edit: According to the wiki, Dragon Age: Inquisition contains 88,000 lines of dialogue (edit 2 - I think this figure including all of the Inquisitors). I think I read somewhere that BG3 has over 500 NPCs?

Questions Post Penacony Finale

-Why was Sparkle here in the first place?? Why did she serve such little purpose in the end of it all?

-Why didn’t we speak to her after she set off her “bomb?”

-Why didn’t we say goodbye to anyone besides Acheron and the dead people?

-didn’t we need to wake everyone up from the dream?? There’s still a shit ton of people in it, and virtually no one really left.

-Wasn’t there memoria leaking into reality? Welt said that the influx of memoria was leaking into reality, why wasn’t it brought up again? Because I’m pretty sure that’s still an issue.

-Why didn’t we see a conclusion between the IPC and Old Oti? I know they mention it in passing, but what was the point of making such a unique model and design for Old Oti just for him to appear in two scenes?

-How do we know we’re not still in the dream?

-Why did Gallagher’s “death” happen off screen? And why didn’t we learn anything about his origin?

-Will Elio be upset with Firefly now that she’s deviated from the script?

-Is Black Swan coming with us to Ampherous?

-Why didn’t they show us what Jade was going to do to Sunday?

-Wtf ever happened to Sampo?

-Why is Jade so nonchalantly a supervillain?

-Why did never learn about the stuff with ‘Oswaldo Schneider?’ Boothill was pretty emotional about it but then he just mentioned it in passing with Aventurine, pushing it aside.

-Cy Yu (Alejandro Saab) said that he read the script for this quest and sobbed. But Jing Yuan wasn’t in it tho..? And sure, it was kinda sad, but in a “aw it’s ending :(“ kind of way, not in a “omg someone died” kind of way. But I just could be reading into it.

Davrin's piece is really neat, with a great sense of motion. Enhaloed by a golden sun he looks heroic. The background colors of blue, blue-gray and gray recall the blue and silver colors of the Grey Wardens. the diagonal lines with the crosses in them remind me of stars in the sky, and of shields and heraldry, you know like when they have symbols patterned on them like this? (I don't know what the technical term for that is hh). A knightly feel. his eyes are glowing[?] blue in this, which takes you back to the DA:O trailer-era when the Hero of Ferelden shown in promotional material would sometimes have glowing blue eyes when he was being all.. Wardenny. in this the effect seems to extend to his vallaslin, which when we saw them in the character trailer were black. the hilt of his sword has a griffon wing motif going on like here, and of course, the griffon shield, also glowing blue, giving the impression of blue flames or light, and similarly doing a battle-cry itself.

Assan shoots overhead like he did in the character trailer, like an arrow. he is shaped like an arrow-head, the line going from his feet giving the impression of an arrow-shaft.
