The more I think about it the more attached I get to the 'C4-621 Raven is a child soldier' concept. Older sibling figure Rusty? Peak. Walter is my dad? Amazing. Iguazu is that tilted over a 15 year old? Wouldn't have it any other way.

It's been over a year since I finished everything AC6 had to offer, but it still consumes my thoughts entirely. I imagine the characters and how they'd react to every situation I'm in. Even on vacation I cannot escape the thoughts.

Iguazu trying to hide his fear of flying. 621 driving along the islands while listening to vaporwave. Walter finally taking a day off and relaxing for once on the beach. Michigan at a restaurant charming an apprehensive stray cat to let him pet it. Carla at a gun show explaining how all the different guns work. Snail freaking out over a rental car that smells like feet and old cheese. Ayre getting super excited to see dolphins. Red geeking out when the navy pilots fly over the beach. Pater somehow getting a nasty sunburn despite using sunblock. Redguns vs Vespers beach volleyball. Rusty in a Publix.

This game is my black mold.

v.iv rusty is obviously the honorary artorias archetype of ac6, but i find it kinda neat that steel haze, as a vesper ac, has more of a hornet motif, the dark blues and blacks and hints of dulled ivory recalling lord's blade ciaran, whereas steel haze ortus takes on the knightly, dog-eared appearance.

it's also kind of neat considering steel haze represents rusty when he was still "loyal" to arquebus, his emblem depicting a muzzled wolf, and he alters the emblem to remove the muzzle, now revealing the wolf's wild, free nature...

anyway, i love that these two always somehow find some way to be reincarnated. this time in one character!

finished with the tie down pass for the butch transfem rusty animation for @rattlegeist! still got a ways to go, but this is some really solid progress i think.

here’s the mp4 version, with a line from rusty at the end!! if anyone is a wizard with sound design and wants to help me out, i’d love a version of this with some mechanical sounds so that it’s not silent the entire time! would be so appreciated :3
