Ok, it seems like I am going to do NSFW Changeling after all! I did a series of HCs about Changeling Tav but didn't have any smut ideas back them.

First of all, you are a perfect genderfluid switch.

Sometimes you are a woman, sometimes you are a man.

Sometimes you are both, sometimes you are none.

You change your body like a dress, and even though Astarion used to feel uncomfortable when you did light alterations to your body, now he is ready for experiments.

He often directly asks you to take a certain form - he especially enjoys it when you mix: a male body with a pussy or tits with a cock.

Sometimes Astarion can't make a decision for ages, and then you start changing in front of him - showing different variations of the things he enjoys.

But it doesn't mean you don't have favorite forms.

Kai doesn't like to be seen in his original form, and prefers to stay disguised as a Sun Elf Woman, known as Sila.

As he is ashamed of his looks, as well as the negative glares towards him from the public, he has taken to roaming the streets as Sila with my main Tiefling, Reus.

Kythus has more Masks, but this is his main one.

Idk if i mentioned this before. It's funny, I might need to replay Jinx's playthrough one day, but I'm thinking about how everyone in act 3 has their little spiel when Orin is revealed to be a shapechanger. Thing is, it has a whole different tone if you hc your Tav/Durge to be a changeling as well.

The second Astarion mentions being infiltrated by a shapechanger and what-not, Jinx is just sort of like 🤨

Good job, Astarion. Now he has a changeling who is 100% gonna copy his form for the day, mocking him the whole time until he finally goes, "Oh, come on! Do I really sound like that?" all while the others are watching, going 👀

I've been chewing on what fears the bg3 characters would be because I do that with almost every piece of media I like now.

Gale is the Beholding (hubris, pursuit of knowledge above all else, his ex can literally see everything he does in/with the Weave). You could make an argument for Desolation b/c of the orb but I think that's secondary. Wyll is the Hunt imo, but the Desolation works for him too- I think his situation is similar to that Hunter we meet whose name I'm forgetting, whose inciting incident has to do with the Dark. I thought the same thing about Karlach but I think she's Desolation instead of Hunt, both aesthetically and because she was actively betrayed and is, you know, dying. Shadowheart is the Dark. Halsin could honestly be the Lonely: he's pretty isolated from the people around him emotionally. An island unto himself etc etc. Lae'zel is the End imo. You'd think she'd be Hunt but End fits into Vlaakith's whole deal (victim of the End, avatar of the Hunt?). Astarion could be either the Buried (since that covers abuse as well, he was literally kept underground/out of the sunlight, etc etc) or the Hunt. I'm a bit undecided there. I don't know enough about Minthara to make a call on her and I don't want to just say Web because of Lolth. Slaughter, maybe? Since that fear covers war. Jaheira and Minsc are Hunt too, I think (there's a lot of Hunt but that comes with the territory when you're adventuring).

Gortash is Web and you cannot convince me otherwise. I think Orin is Slaughter but, honestly, Durge seems more associated with the Extinction to me because of Bhaal's end goal. The Desolation and the Lonely tag-teamed Ketheric's ass but he's an avatar of the End. Dame Aylin is an avatar of the Hunt, victim of the Dark, and Isobel is an avatar of the End a la the main End avatar we see (Oliver? I really need to re-listen...)

There's obviously a lot of overlap and bleed because there always is. I've been wanting to make art based off of this but it's not happening anytime soon so I figured I'd shout about it into the void a bit lol

I personally believe more bg3 fans should have tavs that don't fit in the guidelines of character creation. Genasi tavs, tritons, aaracokra - you name it. Cambion and Aasimar are 100% cool and I love em, but I think people should explore the reaches a little more. Get a little more weird.

my friend ez's tav trine (at least they're a tav in her bg3 au) + my durge abaddon + astarion. trine and abaddon typically live in separate universes but ez and i love to talk about how the two would interact, and they both romance astarion so like. this squad gets talked about a lot. abaddon tries so hard to be good despite everything, trine and astarion not so much, and things aren't helped by trine especially having a real tendency to poke the metaphorical bear because it's funny.
