David and his men came home to find that their town had been raided, the women and children carried off along with their belongings. Although they were men of war, the Bible states they wept until they could weep no more. The men's confidence in David's leadership was shaken to the point they talked about stoning him to death!

David, however, was able to move his focus back to God. He encouraged himself in the Lord. He drew upon his experiences with God to move from distress to action and hope.

Ultimately, he and he his men were able to recover all that was taken and more, since those who raided his town had raided others as well.

Do not wait for others to encourage you, pat you on the back, or say a good word. Learn to encourage yourself in the Lord by hiding his word in your heart. Remember his promises. Reflect on what he has done for you in times past.

I’d love to know why Louis is ONCE AGAUN forced to stunt! WTF! Why?!!!

I understand your frustration but this is sadly the reality for a lot of closeted people in the industry. And if you look at what happens in the US and so many other countries at the moment, I think it's really clear why Louis and Harry decide to stay in the closet for now, and stunting to appear straight is part of that.

And as much as a lot of us hate it, it's a big part of the industry in general too. Not only for queer people, a lot of stars use this for several different reasons, mostly to promote a project of theirs, stay relevant and create stories that will keep their names in the press.

Apart from that I don't really see Louis or Harry being forced to do it anymore. If they are stunting now, it's definitely something they agreed on. And that doesn't mean that it's their fault, it means I think they have more ability to have a say in things since they started their solo careers.

Mine is because I had just finished being utterly eviscerated by one half of my OTP getting hit by a car (on the cusp of them getting to live happily together against all the odds on a show I genuinely trusted to be BETTER than that. Reader, they were not better than that), and I felt the burning need to create a fandom blog RIGHT THAT SECOND so I could share the pain with other fans without totally flooding my main blog with it (in retrospect, I should have just flooded it. But ah well).

Only I still had actual tears running down my face so was not in much of a state to choose, and am in general just SO BAD AT NAMING THINGS. And I was feeling a little silly for caring so much about what happened to these fictional characters in the first place, so I went with exactly what I was feeling in that moment, which was WAY too invested in a tv show. The plan was always to change it to something better as a soon as I calmed down and worked out what that might be.

Only remember the part about how I am SO BAD at naming things?

Yeah. Well, that never went away. And then people started getting to know me as waytooinvested and therefore changing it would cause confusion, and, well, now it's 10 years later and here we are.

I still want to change it. I still don't know what to change it to. I still have the issue of once more being known by this name and not wanting to accidentally lose people via a change.

I think people have kind of lost sight of the type of show that Squid Game is. This show isn't a happy sweet show where bad things happen but in the end everything turns out well. This show is about death and sadness and injustice in the real world and most of all this show is about sending a message.

I am thoroughly impressed by Hwang Dong-hyuk that he stuck to exactly what this show is, even though he knew it was going make people sad. It's not the director's responsibility to make you feel good. It is however the director's responsibility to write a cohesive show that sticks to it's themes and the type of show that it is. That happens so rarely and it happens even less with shows whose concepts a based on the unfairness of the real world.

Hwang Dong-hyuk made and directed an incredibly well thought out show and did not let the pressure of pleasing everyone who watches it get to him and for that I thank him!!
