Thank you so much, I’m glad you like it!! 🥹🥹 I’ve always been drawing since I was a kid, though for digital art specifically it’s been about 13 yrs. But I really only came into my current style since getting into twst, so my growth throughout the years has been kinda all over the place lol. I’m happy with how far I’ve come and where I am now, though! Growth is nonlinear and all that ✨

hot take: i should be allowed to be silly in non-competitive situations

#casually vague blogging here #but like #i should be allowed to be as silly as i want in turf war #there's no dedicated silly mode for splatoon #and getting a private battle together just to be silly is a pain #squid partying in the lobby isn't really the same either #they can't see the hearts i'm drawing on the floor #the best i can do is chase people around and go in circles #i'm sorry if me having fun is at the cost of you having fun #but i don't think turf war is something to be taken seriously outside of splatfests and challenges #it just isn't worth getting mad over imo #not worth the energy #i'm sorry professional turf war players #but i'm not gonna squid party in anarchy and i'm too introverted to get private battles together on discord #ig there's also salmon run #but you can only do that inbetween waves tbh #still better than the lobby tho #there's honestly 0 stakes in turf war #no real consequence if you win or lose #why should i stress myself over that?#i'm too busy stressing over my anarchy rank and my salmon run level #this is coming from a neurodivergent person who likes controlled variables a little too much too #and i've decided that turf isn't worth putting myself into that mindset #it makes the game Not Fun #i did that during this last splatfest #and i did not have fun #i just found myself getting frustrated over and over again #much to the point i just swapped to salmon run instead #because that was much more appealing #so why the hell should i play seriously in normal turf war?
