Summary

When a young forestry officer, Din, gets involved with a gang of illegal smugglers, it causes him and Ken, a young man who has been in a relationship with him for more than seven years, to be chased away. They're both cornered and fall from a steep cliff.

After several months, Ken wakes up but without his lover by his side.

As the years go by, things start to go awry when someone appears and has a resemblance to his former lover. The old memories return and now circle around him. Ken begins to suspect that Din might not be dead, and that Din might be this new person.

I really hoped we'd get to see more of them and I am so glad we did. They are so cute together. Also they are married?! If they are I am so happy about it I hope it's not misstranslation because now I need them to be married.

I loved Payu gently playing with Hin's hair it was so short but so sweet, so loving, so comforting...

The PDA here was so cute. Payu being worried about Hin is so cute I need more of their mushy time.

No words are needed here it's self-explanatory.

The soft kisses on the shoulders and back of the neck while asking if he is okay... I'm not doing well

Let's just say this caught me off guard... I loved it but didn't expect it. The way Payu is looking at Hin... those half closed eyes looking at Hin's lips, Payu is long gone.

The way that nothing happened yet but Payu is already breathing heavily... Hin really has him wrapped around his finger lucky bastard

Harikarn unveiled a new logo along with the date for the worshipping ceremony for their supernatural BL series The Hell Guard which is set in the same universe as Chains of Heart (it's complicated).

The Hell Guard will star Chaaim Alongkorn as Yu (and his twin Payu), Fiat Patchata as Hin (aka probably the most cast character in the history of Thai BL), Top Piyawat and Haii Sarunsathorn (but not as Ken which makes this strange), Gun Napat, Tiger Tanawat and Plustor Pronpiphat, among others.

The worshipping ceremony will take place on 9 June. 🙏

The Chains of Heart ig posted some stills for ep 9 and I'm all over them.

Especially this one:

Because this shot of Inspector Don aka Poppy my beloved could totally be from the same scene as this shot of someone's legs from the episode preview:

Whoever this is, he found Din and Ken after they fell down the cliff. And if it's Don then he must have helped them (and, let's face it, the monk is probably in on it, too. He's a monk. He knows. That's just how things are).

I've always been convinced that Don isn't a bad guy. He's just undercover, same as the doctor who helped Ken in Hong Kong and who planted that camera in Inpha's house (let me just slip into my extra-squeaky clown shoes again 🤡).

BOOK SPOILERS: Plus, there's someone named Don in the novel (but take this with a grain of salt because it could be google translate clowning me). I'm not that far in but he already shows up in Hong Kong. And in the novel there's actually TWO masked men (in addition to Fin and Nok). When Fin attacks Din on the bridge in Hong Kong and Lue/Din interferes, there's another masked guy also protecting Ken (and Din/Lue actually has to fight him). And when Lue/Din goes to find Fin in Uttaradit (in a scene completely different from what happens in the series) and Ken shows up, the second masked man protects him from Din/Lue. Confused yet? I sure am. But anyway, he could be Don. Who says only Phayu gets to have a confusingly large group of similar-looking friends to help?

So Harikarn is really filming the Hell Guard pilot and everyone is looking really, really good.

Also, this is getting more confusing by the minute because Top Piyawat (last image) who is playing Mac in Hell Guard will also be playing Yuji (another character in the same universe) in Love Puzzle (which is made by a different company). And I think Haii (Ken in Chains of Heart) is playing an entirely different character in this - despite Hell Guard being made by the same company. It's ridiculous, I love it!

The leads. Saw Haii is also in it.

Me excited to see the twins again. Also nice to see Plustor. But we could have done without Gun Nappat.

CHAAIM!! Oh, I'm so happy! I was hoping they'd have him play Yu. I need to make a whole separate post about this because I'm so excited. Thanks so much for letting me know. 💜

Holy shit, and Fiat is Hin. FIAT! How?? I thought he was just accepted at Oxford Uni?

Harikarn* (Chains of Heart) will soon announce the cast for their two upcoming BLs Iridescent Love and more importantly The Hell Guards (which is set in the same universe as Chains of Heart and starring Payu's twin**)

*Harikarn used to be Maximon but actually Maximon is still out there also producing BL so idk maybe they split? That being said, Harikarn recently rebranded (again) and never finished posting the script for the cancelled Chains of Heart special ep.

**I have little hope that Yu is played by the same actor as Payu in Chains of Heart even though they're supposed to be identical twins. Then again, one of the silhouettes actually does look a little like Chaaim:
