all modern AU farcille fanart I've seen so far has neglected to consider that human falin without her ch97 feathers WOULD HAVE GLASSES. that girl can NOT see until she's turned part dragon and back, she is CONSTANTLY SQUINTING, in a modern setting her still fully human ass would have OPEN EYES thanks to contacts, glasses, or lasik or something

I know glasses exist in canon too but they're clearly not ubiquitous, also by the time the gang is so rich and powerful she could reasonably get them bc they've got a dungeon king in their midst, it's no longer necessary anyway bc falin's eyes accidentally got fixed with the dragon treatment

*SxF ch97 manga spoilers*

Ahhhhhh, I loved this chapter!!! It’s so cool that Henry and Martha’s history was hinted at way back during the Bus Hijacking arc and now we get to see how they met and how their relationship developed! I love it!!!

Young Henry and Martha were so cute together!!! Their tea parties, Martha helping Henry fight those bullies, Henry punching that one bully to protect Martha. Really great character-building for both Henry and Martha!

I loved that Henry boycotted his military training and wanted to be an educator to stop conflicts instead. However, he was too fixated on his ideals that he lost sight of those closest to him. It isn’t SxF without the pain and the lesson about consequences of war.

I feel like the last page is a cliffhanger and we might get more of their story in the next chapter. I’m very excited! Especially when we got glimpses of other characters like McMahon too.
