🌟 - What is regression like for your f/o?

Involuntary and very messy at first. It starts happening a bit after he retires as Principal of UA (so post-story). He assumes he's loosing his mind, finally snapped, something bad happened in his brain and it's too late to save him from it. It takes a lot to talk him down and get him to open up about what is happening and what it means.

He doesn't like to think or talk about it.

🐾 - Do they regress voluntarily? How can you tell that they're regressed?

Absolutely not, and his triggers aren't very clear to anyone but himself and he refuses to tell anyone about what they are.

His biggest regressed giveaway is that he'll seek out physical affection and touch, something that can send him spiraling into a panic attack in his usual headspace.

He also tends to be pretty quiet while regressed and stumble a bit more. We've caught him walking on all fours a few times while regressed as well.

🧳 - How do they deal with regression when you're far away?

Most of the UA staff steps in to help when Nezu drops, though both myself and Eri seem to be his favorites for affection and comfort, he doesn't put up a fuss when he can't find us and has to settle with someone else.

From what I've been told while away he will ask about a "Doctor" when he can't find Eri or me. We don't know who this Doctor is but Toshinori thinks it might be the same "Doctor" who experimented on Nezu before he was purchased by the Hero Commission. I guess Eri and I resemble him in some way? At least, enough that he connects us to him when he regresses.

I've been on and off looking into this "Doctor" with the help of Hawks in the old Hero Commission Files. So far we haven't found anything other than a laboratory name and some old documents on Nezu's stay at the Commission.

🎈 - Free space! Share a regression hc of your f/o

I've headcanoned for a very long time that Nezu use to be very jealous of Regressors. The ability to return to a childlike headspace, to be naive and innocent again.

I think on some deep level he wants to just be an animal, with only thoughts of his next meal and looking out for predators. All these human thoughts, this high level brain, it's not what his body was built to handle, he'd love to just be able to turn it off.

But at the same time the moment he starts involuntarily regressing and becomes something akin to a Toddler again he wants nothing more than for it to stop.

He's not ready to be vulnerable again, to be young and dumb again, to be pet and held and loved without all the toxic history bubbling up again and again.

He doesn't want anyone involved in his history or his private life, and this suddenly being a very affectionate toddler again is making that very difficult.

always telling you stories !! some of them are made up but a lot of them are about his life . he often gets lost in his tales but you hang onto his every last word .

loves to teach you new things . these little lessons often come with a little story of his own !! he notices you giggling && bites back a laugh of his own . " mama's silly , huh squirt." teaches you how to throw a punch but also about little everyday things like tying your shoes .

SOOOO protective .. literally your guard dog , he will not hesitate to throw a punch or clap back verbally if someone poses a threat to you . king of glares too , he scares away aaallll the meanies . always holding your hand && proudly calling you his little one . he often has his hand on your shoulder as a way to reassure you he's there for back up .

always including your stuffies in everything , he's so playful with them !! if you're sad he'll have them talk to you in silly voices to cheer you up && he has little conversations with them to make you giggle . sometimes he can't help but crack up himself .

he lets you play with his hair && put little clips in it . you love his hair soo much , the color is so AWESOME !! when his hair is longer he lets you style it however you like .

on the topic of hair he loves washing yours . it's super soothing for him && makes him feel closer to you . it's something so intimate that he treasures , running his hands through your hair , doing his best to learn all he can about how to take care of it if you have more kinky hair so he can meet all of your needs .

he's super good at braiding from always doing powder's braids && it's something that calms him down . if you have longer hair he's always happy to braid it — he can do all of the fancy braids !! he tries to teach you but your fingers are a bit clumsy what with you being so little .

even though he himself doesn't always practice safe binding he makes sure that you do . if you whine about it trying to point out that he doesn't he sheepishly says something like , "well you shouldn't do everything daddy does ."

You watch as Sarah prepares a tray with food and water for Rafe, standing beside her and fiddling with your fingers.

She knows what you're thinking and smiles at you, sliding the tray towards you. "Why don't you go and give it to him this time?"

You bite your lip, hesitating for a moment but nod your head yes, sending her a small smile before taking the tray in your hands.

You're carefully balancing the tray as you make your way to the tiny bathroom Rafe is tied up in.

First you were mad at JJ for punching him so hard to knock him out but after John b explained to you that the blonde was just overall stressed and overreacting you decided not to press on it any further, knowing that JJ has been through hell the last days.

As you reach the bathroom you slowly push the door open, seeing Rafe sitting on the ground in a manspread leaning against the wall.

He turns his head at the sound of the door creaking, a scowl on his face as he expects to see his sister again but it fades when he realizes it's you.

You crouch down and place the tray on the ground close to him, then sit down crisscross fumbling with the edge of your summer dress that Rafe bought you, not knowing what to say at the moment.

"Y'know, I can't really eat like this." He says lifting his bound hands a bit even though he could eat just fine the last times, he just wants to use the fact you're probably little and are molded into being his good girl to make you untie him. "C'mon, I won't tell them."

You feel torn between your loyalty to your daddy and to your friends, or family to be exact. The pogues have been a part of your life longer than Rafe but him on the other hand is the person you chose to be your caregiver, so you're conflicted.

"I can't..." You mumble, looking down at your lap, not wanting to meet his probably disappointed gaze. "Da others told me not to."

Rafe clenches his jaw, adjusting his position in the cramped space with a groan. "And I'm telling you to untie me, kid."

You shake your head guiltily. "M'sorry, daddy..."

"It's okay, I didn't expect anything else." He scoffs, using his leg to slide the tray closer to him. "You can go. I'm not someone who needs to be fed."

Your chest feels tight at the remark, feeling tears building up in your eyes at his tone, only used to him using the soft one while you're little but you can't really blame him.

Reaching into the small pocket you have on your dress you pull out some chocolate, laying it on his tray beside the cup of water. "I told 'em dat you not gonna be mean bu' they didn' listen..."

Rafe can't help but sigh, now feeling like an asshole for the way he's treating you right now and that he tried to make you feel bad that he's tied up, it's not like he didn't deserve it after all the things he's done.

He's a person who needs to be in control, and being tied up and unable to have the upper hand in this situation is triggering him to no end, that if something should happen he won't be able to do anything.

"Thanks...baby." He gives you a faint smile, glancing at the already open chocolate package. "Someone already had a little taste, huh?"

You giggle quietly but shuffle closer to him, careful to not spill anything that's on the tray, leaning your head against his shoulder you grab the chocolate.

Breaking off a piece you hold it up to him and he gratefully takes the piece into his mouth. "Where did you even get that?"

"Sarah sneaked it into ma pocket." You whisper into his ear and he nods, rolling his eyes jokingly.

"Should've figured that." He chuckles, his cheek pressed against the top of your head, feeling content to have you with him right now.

Gramps is the nicest person I've ever met! He kept me safe on the Subway and comforted me when everything felt too hard. He said there was no rush to get going and we could ride that train as long as I needed.

And then when we did get to the surface he was nice enough to offer me his home, his family, and his protection for as long as I needed it. He and Three both were so so patient and kind to me, I dunno what I would have done without them.

🧡 - How did Cuttlefish react when he first saw you regress?

The first time was on the subway, after a mission. My clothes were too tight and the shoes were hard to move in and everything felt so loud and scary and I still didn't really remember anything so it was all so much all at once...

He calmed me down, gave me his track jacket and headphones. I dunno if he really knew what was going on with me, but he played me his Granddaughter's music and held my hand and walked me through breathing exercises. I ended up stealing his whole outfit in the end, he wore my old Octarian uniform, did a whole fashion show walk in my heels and skirt.

He focused on helping me relax, playing little games, singing songs, making me laugh, and holding my hand so I'd know he was there to help...

🏅 - Favorite activities to do together when regressed?

I like listening to Gramps when little. He tells good stories about his past and when my big sisters were little. I also like music, especially my sisters'. Gramps says he sometimes catches me singing along really quiet too, which is kinda embarrassing, I don't think I sing all that good, but he likes it...

Mostly I like to take it easy when regressed. Just lay down with a story or some music and Gramps, maybe a snack. I like napping in the sun and watching clouds roll over head and laying in the grass...

I like that I can be outside and be small and be safe, all at the same time...

doodling on your shoes with nat . lottie finds you guys && pretends to be angry but later she asks to see && marvels at your art skills , asking if you could draw something for her sometime .

you're big on energy drinks and soda . lottie has to remind you to drink water , putting a limit on how many energy drinks / sodas you can have per day . you'll reach into the fridge for an extra one && all of a sudden she's right beside you scolding you && placing a glass of water in your hand .

it was late at night and you couldn’t sleep. you had come out of your headspace earlier in the day and had settled yourself down for bed. now, Will was fast asleep in his own bed and you felt guilty. he’d been busy with work recently so you didn’t want to disturb his sleep. JJ was out of town working a case.

you sat on the front porch, looking up at the night sky. it was chilly, but you weren’t shivering. you had your mama’s big coat on. it smelt like her and it wrapped around you so tightly. you missed her a lot when she was away, more than you’d ever admit. some days were harder than others.

what you loved most about your relationship with JJ was she was your caregiver and best friend all in one. that was how it all started, you were best friends and she knew about the regression. when she met Will and realised they were both infertile, they lost all hope until you regressed around the pair for the first time. ever since then, you’d been their little baby. their angel. but no matter what, when not in your headspace, you were still JJ’s best friend and she didn’t see you any less.

sighing, you sent her a text. it was a small ‘hey’, mainly just to start up a conversation. you wanted her badly, big or little. almost immediately, your phone began ringing. it was a facetime request and you smiled, picking up.

“mama!” you groaned loudly as you tried to get comfortable.

“hey hey, you’re okay,” she murmured. “shuffle around, deep breaths. mama’s here.”

just hearing her voice settled you and you soon got comfy.

“close them eyes little one,” your mama said. you did so and then felt your dada’s strong arms pull you close to him.

“i’ve got her jay,” dada said into the phone.

“thank you baby, you give each other extra big cuddles for me.” she was on the brink of sleep herself. you rolled over and curled into your dada.

“night mama i loves wo,” you muttered down the phone softly.

“goodnight angel, i love you so much.”

“goodnight my love, i love you.” Will said to her too.

“goodnight baby. i love you too.”

the three of you fell asleep together. although your mama was at the other side of the country, it still felt so comforting hearing her soft breaths at the other end of the phone. you could see strands of her blonde hair in the soft light too and you couldn’t wait to have it tangled around your fingers again. you snuggled closer to your dada in your sleep, clinging to him and he held you tighter.

you loved your little family more than anything.

Welcome to my very own TF2 AGERE RP BLOG!!

This blog will be centered around my own headcanons for the characters, including agere/petre/agedre related headcanons, gender/sexuality headcanons and personality headcanons!

Of course i will try to keep their personalities as close to canon as i can when running this sort of blog, but theres going to definitely be a lot out of character most likely!

How does this work?

Its rather simple, just send in an in character ask and youll get an in character reply!

If you send a not in character ask, or an ask towards me or about the lore, ill answer accordingly!

You can send the requests to specific characters, just specify who!

Sadly right now there wont be any art to go along with it but theres a chance ill start adding some if i can later on :)

I will be starting a headcanons/fics/oneshot blog too, so you can also send questions there when its up, but i dont mind answering them now!

Is there a story or plot to this?

Sorta yes! The main idea is the usual, the merce live in the same house/base and hang out out of work! Only differences is that miss pauling lives there too, and saxton lives close enough to come by a lot!

This is set in the red base specifically, where its much warmer and sunnier!

In this, red team is the originals and blue team are slightly tweaked clones! Its confusing and wont be brought up much though. The blue team acts different and have different likes/dislikes, and they live in a very cold area.

What you should know about the cloning thing is that the spys are both fathers of their respective scouts, red spy and red scout and blue spy and blue scout! Scouts ma does sorta know about the clones, she just chooses not to think abt it too much /hj

Who regresses in this? Why? To what? (+ pronouns)

Scout (he/they) - age regressor and babysitter! He regresses usually around 4 to 8 usually, but some days he can get down to 2. His main cg is engineer but he also likes to be cared for by spy

Sniper (he/him) - flip! He regresses to around 5 or 6 usually, only gets littler under high stress. He mainly likes being cared for by heavy, but doesnt mind to be babysat by saxton or engie

Pyro (they/it) - age regressor and temporary babysitter sometimes! Has the biggest age range, 1 to 15, but usually stays in the 5 to 8 range, but sometimes dips all the way to 1 or 2. Their primary cg is engineer, and they are almost always a bit little honestly, they also love being babysat by heavy and medic!

Engineer (they/he) - flip with caregiver lean! He doesnt regress often and he even less will he let himself be cared for without a fuss, but when he does he goes veeery young, 0 to 3 at best! Hes a very warm father cg though and the main one for pyro and scout

Spy (she/he/they, fluctuating preference) - flip, but also caregiver lean! When he does regress she regresses to 0 - 2! Otherwise their the primary caregiger for miss pauling, secondary for scout, and usually the most prepared one

Heavy (he/they) - sorta flip? He regresses so rarely that its only been around medic, not many of the of the others even KNOW he regresses actually. He regresses around 0 to 1, and its usually an extreme stress regression. Though when hes caring hes one of the best! Usually just a babysitter to most, but the main cg to sniper

Medic (it/he/they, no preference) - flip again! Hes both an age and pet regressor. He regressed pretty young, 2-5, and pet regresses into a dove/domestic pigeon! When he cares hes decent at it, a little scary sometimes but hes improving! He usually is the doctor for many stuffed animals and their littles (colorful stickers gallore with him)

Soldier (it/they/he) - age regressor and pet regressor! Age regression to around 6 to 10 usually, and pet regresses to a raccoon and puppy! Main cg is saxton, but often settles with engie happily

Demo (he/they/xe) - age regressor and sometimes babysitter! Regresses a lot due to being drunk, or being hungover. Usually regresses to about 2 to 7

Miss Pauling (she/they) - sorta flip! She regresses more then she acts as a cg but shes absolutely fine with babysitting! She regresses very young, only around 0 to 6, and a lot of the time she'll slip when stressed or overly tired (she has to be dragged away from her work a lot too)

Saxton (he/she) - caregiver and babysitter! Main caregiver for soldier (being the only one who can keep up with him) but has babysat all the frequent regressors! Hes the least prepared but the kids have fun! Usually is called "uncle" by most
