-only real nickname is ‘mama’ from Ushijima

-takes the others little gear to camps and comps incase

-cuddle monster, love language is a mix of physical touch and words of affirmation

-so he loves to hold his littles and tell them how much he loves them

-his bedroom in the home has basically been converted into a safe space to regress

Kageyama- little

-non verbal and a baby regressor

-very quiet and often sleepy

-needs to be the one to initiate cuddle time unless it’s their brother (Kyotani)

-has a service German Shepard called Volley, so always has help when they need it

-when awake and a little older, loves to ‘play’ with baby Ushijima and a spare volleyball

-slowly warms up to the idea of napping in Oikawas bedroom with the weighted blankets

Kyoutani- puppy

-little bundle of energy

-bouncy and super playful

-when calm will curl around his sibling (Kages) and have puppy cuddles

-took the second longest to get comfortable with Oikawa

-LOVES baby Ushijima

-Suga is the only one he will play rough with ((apart from Volley))

-chewy toys are a must

Suga- little

-older brother

-really wants to be a caregiver like Oikawa but involuntarily regresses when he tries

-does like to baby his little siblings though

-plays rough with Kyotani, can deal with light puppy nips

-is super over protective of the babies

-especially when they are both non verbal, he and Kyo take it very seriously

-very intense, like all the time. He took the longest to trust Oikawa

Ushijima- little

-selectively nonverbal baby regressor

-even when verbal will only speak if spoken to

-very uncoordinated, often needs help from Oikawa or Suga

-gets giggly when puppy Kyotani starts getting excited

-accidentally started calling Oikawa mama but it just stuck

-when verbal, speech is very slurred

-is surprisingly good at reading Kageyamas body language and can speak up for them if they need

Iwaizumi- flip

-newest to the house and newest to learn about regressing

-technically more of a big brother than a flip but likes to try and help his papa with the babies

-calls oikawa ‘papa’ one by mistake and oikawa just runs with it

-is Semi-verbal, rarely talks but can

-likes to just hold and hug the babies and puppy Kyo

-often gets pulled into Suga’s little antics

Little Oikawa headcanons 👽

Schoolhouse rock's 'interplanet janet' is one of his absolute FAVES

Likes watching paranormal stuff when big but gets freaked out if he remembers them when small. He better get some cuddles

Caregiver has to be strict with his bedtimes or he'll get spooked by his late night thoughts

Would have one of these plushies (aurora's taddle toes aliens Jupiter and Lucas (i think))

Likes katamari damacy (loves the soundtrack!!)

Iwa took him to the planetarium once and he got a souvenir kaleidoscope! He pretends it's a telescope, one of his favorite stim toys

Iwaizumi had slipped while doing some homework so he sought out his caregiver, Oikawa. He was staying at the older boy's house for the weekend, so he went to the other's bedroom. He found him and smiled, happy stimming for a moment before approaching. If only Oikawa saw him stimming, maybe it could have been avoided.

"Kawa. Psst, let's go out! Outside!" Iwa tugged on Oikawa's arm and the other, who apparently didn't register Iwaizumi's words, shoved him off. Stubborn as always, Iwa pouted and tried again. Angrily, Oikawa pushed him.

"Back up Iwaizumi! I'm not in the mood for your stupid games, I'm trying to study!" The brunette snapped, glaring at the other. He turned back to his book and muttered angrily.

Iwaizumi was stunned and flinched as if he'd been slapped. Oikawa yelled at him, actually yelled. Tears in his eyes, Iwa fled to his room and curled up under the bed with a blanket, pillow, and a stuffy. He began sobbing immediately, hugging the stuffy tightly and regretting his choice.

In the other room, Oikawa's brain was slowly putting together the puzzle pieces left by Iwaizumi. Oh no. Hurrying, he rushed to Iwaizumi's room and almost panicked when he didn't see him. Thankfully, he heard him and went over.

"Hey, Iwa. What's wrong bubs? Were you little when you came to me?" Iwaizumi nodded softly, shying away from him which made his heart hurt. "I'm so sorry baby. Come on, tell bubba what's wrong."

"Hurt me." Iwa sniffled, peeking over his french fry plushie. (https://www.kidrobot.com/products/yummy-world-large-french-fries-plush)

"I'm so sorry baby, I didn't mean to hurt you." Oikawa frowned and reached out. Iwaizumi didn't move this time, letting him stroke his cheek. "Come here, lets cuddle okay? We can do whatever you want to do today." Iwa agreed, moving to him and nuzzling into his chest.

Iwaizumi wasn't little very often, but when he dropped, he dropped quite young.

He hadn't been expecting the drop, so he hadn't prepared for it, which meant here he was crying on the gym floor and longing for his comfort items that were all at home. They'd luckily finished most of the practice planned for the day, and so Iwa didn't feel so bad about dropping, but he'd feel better if he hadn't just fallen on the floor.

Oikawa had ran over, pulling the little into his lap and holding him close, doting and cooing over Hajime, telling him how good he'd done and how cute he was, and how big brother Tooru missed spending time with his little baby brother. That only sent him hurtling further down, and now he was non-verbal, crying his eyes out as he tried to reach out for Matsukawa, finding it hard to see where his bubba was when he couldn't see through his tears.

Soon enough, he was being lifted up into strong arms, and he calmed down.

"Bubba's here. You're okay." Matsukawa murmured, rocking Hajime gently, patting his back. "You got quite small really quick, buddy, did it scare you?" Haji nodded with a quiet whine, looking up at his bubba as he held tightly onto his shirt. He was met with the sight of kind eyes and a soft smile, and he knew everything was safe and okay.

“c’mon little haji, put your finges in the mittens,” Oikawa held open the knit mittens that had Godzilla designs on them.

Hajime, who was tightly bundled in snow pants, boots, fussy socks, a plaid scarf, a cozy coat wrapped around his torso, and a hat-shaped as a dino, was all bundled up except for his bare hands, which Oikawa covered with the mittens.

“mhm, my little haji-baby,” the caregiver pressed a kisses on the only exposed pair of hajime’s face which was near his eye, “ready to play in the snow?”

Atsumu

lap monster. hes a cuddler in general but he loves sitting in peoples laps (refer to this post he is so cute)

regresses to 2-6 years old

very calm baby but a hyperactive toddler

always follows the rules! he doesnt like being punished or reprimanded so hes a very good boy

big sweetheart

so shy! after finding out bokuto was also a regressor sakusa organized a playdate between the two and atsumu spent most of it hiding behind his caregiver

he and osamu regress together! atsumu just happens to regress more often than his twin and usually osamu ends up acting as his big sib

he needs to be holding something at all times (stuffie? caregiver’s hand? blankie? sippy? he just likes to hold things)

Akaashi

totally a caregiver/little switch

when hes small hes SMALL

like 0-1 range

only ever regresses around bokuto, kuroo, or kenma

bokuto likes to baby him when theyre both big and one day it worked a little too well and suddenly bokuto had an armful of baby akaashi

doesnt talk when regressed (occasionally really small words) and talks with his hands instead

cries a LOT

hates when other people baby talk him unless its coming from another regressor

Iwaizumi

also a caregiver/little switch!

2-4 years old when regressed

only seijoh 4 knows about his regression - he’s more comfortable being open about being a caregiver with the rest of the team and isnt ready to share about being a little

shy but super clingy

very calm little - he just likes to sit and watch movies or play with relaxing toys

cried when oikawa gifted him his first pacifer after he told him he wanted to start regressing

doesnt like to talk much when little because he tends to stutter (his cgs love it though!)

Regressor Iwaizumi Headcannons

He mainly impurely regresses, it tends to happen with strong negative emotions that leave him feeling out of control.

He does know how to control his regression and purely regress, he just doesn't like to do it because he feels like he's bothering people since he doesn't like being alone.

Iwaizumi tends to stick around 4-6 but the longer he goes without regressing the more likely it is for him to end up in babyspace when he finally does regress.

He likes to try and help his CG with doing "big kid" stuff to the point they got him a fake vacuum and other things like that.

The team absolutely loves Iwaizumi when he's regressed, Kyotani tries to act like he doesn't but everyone can tell he has a soft spot for him (especially since he once fed Iwaizumi a bit of his food when the boy was regressed).

Oikawa is his main caregiver but the team all help out with watching him when Oikawa is busy and can't.

Iwaizumi tends to need a lot of reassurance that he isn't being a bother and that they aren't going to leave him.

-Tenma lived with the Ukais during high school

Ps: I have included some head cannons that some caregivers who are close to the littles have a toy they carry with them in case something happens.

Hoshiumi- little

-is called chicken (Niwatori!)

-originally wanted a sea gull but said he looked sad

-Hirugami caved immediately

-needs to have him with him whenever he is away from his mum or Hirugami

-literally shoved him in Hinatas face as an introduction

-“you’re a caregiver?! This is my stuffie! His name is chicken and he’s just as good as any other bird!”

Tenma- little

-keeps it hidden

-was a present from Ukais family when he was first fostered with them

-refuses to show it to Akiteru, even after he finds out

-has a lot of unresolved trauma attached to the turtle

-refuses to name it (because he wasn’t given a name until he stayed with the Ukais)

-has had a lot of violent tic fits that could only be calmed by his turtle

Shirabu- little

-present from Semi before he graduated

-keeps it hidden in his dorm

-only Goshiki knows about it

-is covered in bandaids from playing vet

-was the start of his bunny stuffie collection

-called snowball

Osamu- flip leaning CG

-doesn’t normally regress but uses them if he is caring for his brothers

-is called scratch

-got a red panda because Atsumu really wanted the fox

-doesn’t sleep with him but he sits on his bed

-has his name stitched into the paw

-perfectly clean, if not a little worn

Aone- flip

-is called Armi

-is big enough that he can hold it with two hands (!)

-bought it while out with Kogane, after he realised he was a regressor

-Kogane loves it cause now they have a big brother to play with sometimes!

Tsukki- baby sitter

-went out and bought it after he accidentally gave Kageyama a panic attack in the change rooms

-is called koda (reference to power rangers Dino charge bc nerd)

-hates that Kageyama will bite it on the tail but doesn’t stop him

-isn’t very good at playing so he will just put the stego in Kages lap and rattle off Dino facts

Daichi- CG

-called nessie

-bought it after Oikawa spoke to him about little space

-brings it to camp as littles seem to like him for some reason

-(it’s his thighs, they’re wide enough that the bigger littles can sit in his lap comfortably)

-always makes the brrrrr noise for her when playing littles

Tendou- CG

-bought it for his twins but also uses it with Ushijima

-is called Ossom

-actually sleeps with it too

-always tries to stop Ushijima form putting its tail in his mouth

-immediately gives in when he looks like he’s gonna cry tho

Oikawa- CG

-takes it everywhere

-uses it to calm himself down when he gets too worked up in caregiver mode

-also uses it to distract upset littles

-Iwaizumi has had to use it on him too tho

-called is poppyseed ((for some reason???))

OH! Maybe a Drabble of ( one or all of) the Seijoh third years as regressors ( Baby matsukawa , Toddler Iwazumi, little kid Makki and older/big kid Oikawa if it’s ok with you ) with Oikawa babysitting the other 3 at his house, but he’s slowly slipping himself, so he calls someone (one or multiple people/ person ) from his team for help!

Oikawa knew he was slipping but he had to force it back because he was in school. Just started school. He huffed, taking a moment to pout since he was alone in the changing room after practice and then calmed himself down and walked out. Iwaizumi was waiting, as usual, to walk him. 

“Hey bubs?” Oikawa whispered, leaning on Iwaizumi’s shoulder. “Can I have a hoodie please? I’m tryin’ not to slip but it’s hard!” He pouted, looking up at his caregiver/boyfriend pleadingly. 

“Right now?” Iwaizumi looked at him and Oikawa nodded, tilting his head. Iwa sighed and stepped back to take off his hoodie. “Here, wear this one. I’ll get your snacks after school and you can slip on the way home. Okay?” 

“Okay!” Oikawa took the hoodie gladly, smiling and hugging it before throwing it on. The baggy material made him feel smaller and he loved it. He let go for a moment, happy stimming and shaking his hands. Iwaizumi smiled as he watched, crossing his arms. 

“Come on, ‘Kawa. Right now you have to be a big boy, okay? You can have twice the amount of candy later if you be good, okay prince?” Oikawa nodded eagerly and Iwa nodded a bit. “Let’s get to class.” He smiled and held Oikawa’s hand, walking with him.

“Well, I stand corrected. Fine, we can watch this one again, Iwa-chan.”

Was thinking about the Aquabats the other day and how little Iwaizumi would love it!! Can only watch it when he's regressed to 5 or older, because some parts would get scary if he's too young.

He loves the practical effects because it reminds him of godzilla movies!

Honestly there's a lot of callbacks to retro/80s era kinda stuff in the Aquabats! super show! and Iwa loves the nostalgia bc he's always loved the aesthetics of older media

He would borrow Oikawa's makeup to draw a fake mustache on his face like the MC bat commander. He has a very crude helmet Oikawa helped him make out of cereal boxes.

When Iwa colors, he makes lots of pictures designing monsters for the Aquabats to fight. He has long conversations about what their fights with the Aquabats would be like.
