Interviews with Incredible Women
Here are some interviews that I think are absolutely brilliant, and I’ll explain why.
These women are trailblazers in what they do and I think, have really nailed the interview process down and you can tell because the more natural a person appears to be on camera, the more effort has gone into looking that way. Uneasiness, discomfort, shyness are easily spotted, especially with body language - and you can see the confidence just radiating from them.
Now, you may not like some of these women for whatever reason. I don’t really care about that - I’m simply looking at their oratorship, their presence in front of everyone and how they carry themselves. There’s obviously lots of powerful female orators, leaders and figures out there but I can’t possibly list them all so excuse me if I’ve missed out on your favourites - I’ll add them next time.
There’s a few things these women have in common:
1. They don’t always jump to answer. They think for a second or two before answering.
2. There are no filler sounds. They speak at a measured rate, which allows them to think ahead about their sentences.
3. They have a vast vocabulary.
4. They are not shy in disagreeing with the person in front of them. None of that diplomatic nonsense. There is clearly a strong sense of self identity and personality, unapologetically.
5. They show their vulnerabilities, weaknesses and hard times as thing of the past and accept them without a fuss- they don’t oppress themselves with it, and come across as strong survivors rather than wallowing in self pity. It’s what makes people admire them.
6. They don’t answer what they dont want to. And they beat around the bush with it, clearly stating that they will not answer those questions.
7. One thing I loved about Rekha’s interview - when questioned about an ex lover, she asks: “hey, is this interview about me or Mr Bacchan?” And it didnt come across as haughty or egoistical.
8. There’s feminineness in their strength. Them being strong in their stances is not masculine, overly aggressive or yelling - its firm, to the point, yet graceful.
This is what you should be looking at, carefully:
- body language
- Vocabulary
- Talking speed
- Gestures
- Facial expressions
- Voice modulation
- Expressing emotions

Alan Ruck on Conor and Logan's relationship (and a little look into why Connor wasn't a contender for heir apparent). (x)
#everything about Connor and Logan fascinates me#like I think in some ways they have an OK relationship?#like...not good but it's...fine? like it's livable for everybody#the idea that Connor gets called upon though for weird little tasks makes perfect sense to me#there's also something different in this relationship for Logan whereby Connor can never really “threaten” Logan the way the golden trio ca#like because Connor isn't even a candidate for CEO there's some distance in the relationship that's free from the kind of mortality scares#which he has with the others - like the closer they come to taking over the closer he is to being pushed out or dying#their rise is a threat to his vitality - and that isn't the case with Connor so it can be chiller relationship in some ways#does that make sense?#feel free to ignore if not haha#connor roy#hbo succession#cast interviews#succession#alan ruck

"we'll be in hell together after all" now has a different meaning within the context of the show.
armand turn daniel into a vampire out of spite, so that he can punish daniel to experience the damning loneliness that he feel. he wants to drag daniel into the dark pit with him. this version of devil's minion is them learning to seek "comfort" with each other because they have no one else to turn to, since both of them fucked each other's life up.

rockstar!lestat this, rockstar!lestat that… you fools, you absolute fools. you have no idea how funny it would have been if they made him the first white kpop idol. the amount of hilarity and chaos that would ensue would have been unparalleled.
#interview with the vampire#lestat de lioncourt#he could have been the mat hyung of nct!#we could have gotten a 200 y/o man doing aegyo!#we could have gotten him beefing with the big4 ceo’s!#this is very niche and impossible and extremely stupid but it’s hilarious to me so yeah skfjskfjkd#kpop

50 Interview Prep Questions
Here’s a list of questions I used to get a job. I felt it could be useful for you too, and is fairly generic. I think this is one of the most comprehensive HR/ job application question guides that I’ve created - so I hope that you find it useful.
Questions:
Why are you interested in working for this company?
Tell me about your education.
Why have you chosen this particular field?
Describe your best/worst boss/ teacher.
In a job, what interests you most/least?
What is your major weakness?
Give an example of how you solved a problem in the past.
Give me an example of a time you did something wrong. How did you handle it?
What are your strengths?
How do others describe you?
What do you consider your best accomplishment in your last job?
Where do you see yourself in three years?
Think about something you consider a failure in your life, and tell me why you think it happened.
How do you think you will fit into this operation?
If you were hired, what ideas/talents could you contribute to the position or our company?
What do you know about this company?
Give an example where you showed leadership and initiative.
Give an example of when you were able to contribute to a team project.
What have you done to develop or change in the last few years?
Tell me about a time where you had to deal with conflict on the job.
What are your goals?
What can you do for us that other candidates can't?
If I were your supervisor and asked you to do something that you disagreed with, what would you do?
Describe how you would handle a situation if you were required to finish multiple tasks by the end of the day, and there was no conceivable way that you could finish them.
Can you describe a time when your work was criticized?
Give me an example of a time that you felt you went above and beyond the call of duty at work.
What was the last project you led, and what was its outcome?
Where would you like to be in your career five years from now?
What do you know about this industry?
Have you ever been on a team where someone was not pulling their own weight? How did you handle it?
How do you want to improve yourself in the next year?
What do you see yourself doing within the first 30 days of this job?
If selected for this position, can you describe your strategy for the first 90 days?
What are your lifelong dreams?
What do you ultimately want to become?
What is your personal mission statement?
What's the last book you read?
Who are your heroes?
What do you like to do for fun?

I think one of my favorite things abt TF: One is that Andrew said that Sentinel Prime reminded him of Captain Qwark
bc like
yeah.
I just think it's neat that like 17 years later, The Tick influence is still obvious to someone who I don't think was aware that it could be there
*an unnamed blue and orange G1 leader was retroactively declared to be Sentinel Prime in 2010
#you could probably also mention ''Sentinel'' Zeta Prime between TFA and TF: One but he wasn't really super relevant to this#although he mighta helped keep the blue and orange design alive after DotM#I read an interview w/the president/CEO of Insomniac Games that said The Tick was partial inspiration for Qwark#but he didn't specify which version. for all I know he was talking abt the 2001-2002 live action show that woulda been relevant at the time#I don't know anything about The Tick so idk if there's a noticeable difference between them#anyway. hi its 4am and im sleep deprived and for some reason this is all I can think about.

My queer disabled group I joined in order to try to reduce my isolation and increase my confidence has been shut down with a weeks notice.
They have communicated issues with funding for a while now but did not provide good level of heads up about severity or timelines and we have just been told today that we will only be allowed one more session before its ended forever.
We were told back in january that there was funding issues, the group offered to email ministers and help with looking for grants or even organise fundraising ourselves, and many of the members are well known for being strong advocates in the community. We lost our facilitator who was such an awesome person, they did an awesome job at making sure everyones needs where met and everyones voices where heard, and had the hard job of navigating conflicting needs.
We put together an amazing art exibition where many exibitionists were able to sell their work! And there was a plan to do another expo next year! Just last week we were planning a end of year event!
And now next week will be our last week.
So now I guess I will go back to being isolated in my regional town where these services just don't exist. The program was run in the city. Over 2 hours away from me. And now its gonna be gone.
This sucks man.
sucks hard
#og#sad times#proper sad and mad over this#frustrated too!#the ceo had a meeting with us about this today and he just kept ignoring our questions#we worked together to generate a report on what the member of the group value and need and want from the program#we worked on it for near 6 months!#we did surverys and workshops and interviews and consultations and so on#and they wont even let us look at the report#cause it was a 'commissioned piece' and belongs to them
