I find Marie’s body language in Return of the Mammalians really interesting because I can use it as Momrie propaganda BECAUSE it’s a really great physical representation of a side of her personality we don’t get to see that much in the game.
There are only a couple of instances this can be applied to in Return of the Mammalians but because I’m bored and desperate, I can stretch it to three, with a fourth scene where I think it could be improved.
Hold on to your tentacles! You’re probably going to think I’m insane after this.
I can’t believe you actually want to read this.
So, the first example I have AND the one that inspired me to write this mess is the scene during the construction of the uh, the machine thingy (does it have a name?) where Callie leaps at Marie to hug her in celebration of completing their task. And I MEAN leaps. We can’t see the whole of their bodies but judging by the suddenly acquired height difference, Callie is completely off the ground at this point. Given that the scene ends in a freeze frame, we don’t see the full force or speed of the hug-tackle either, but what’s clear is that Marie is prepared for it. Just to give myself a bit of focus because I have NO idea where I’m going with this; if the Marie-is-a-Horrible-Cousin Truthers whose splatoon knowledge ends like 6 years ago are correct, wouldn’t Marie have gone ‘Ew. UGH. CAL *hair flip* why are you TOUCHING me? or something? Or at the very least be completely unprepared to catch her? And that’s the thing! She doesn’t just hug her back - she CATCHES her. As shown by this here low quality image vv
Marie’s arms come up under Callie’s in a scooping motion. She is fully aware of her cousin’s physical recklessness and is completely prepared to catch her and keep her safe. I mean, the fact that Callie trusts her enough to just… fling herself at her is telling enough.
Alrighty. Next point GO!!
After Cuttlefish (I don’t like calling him that. Let’s call him Craig) after Craig gets Sucked Dry by That Bear, the Squid Sisters seem… mildly concerned, which is probably to keep the upbeat and comedic feel of the game while sacrificing a little emotional realism (coming back to this later!), but after they see he’s fully conscious and capable of floating by himself for some reason (?) everything’s Suddenly Fine Again. Except the world being in immediate danger, obviously. But here’s the thing (did I say that already? Well, there are 2 things)! For the remaining portion of the game this side of the end credits, Marie is just… holding Craig. As afore mentioned though, he can float. She doesn’t NEED to be holding him but she just is. Whether that’s because she’s happy to see her grandfather safe or whether something inside her soggy little brain saw something smaller than herself and told her to protect it is a mystery, but either way, that is some quality… body language… there…(again, lost my point. Weirdly, whenever I think about someone being held by Marie, I seem to lose focus. Huh.)
Anyway, here’s a picture of Marie holding Craig. Look at how she’s trying to engage him in something he could easily be left out of. Does this image not bring you joy???
Moving on briefly from all the Marie-talk, let’s talk a little Callie. I’m honestly thrilled about what they did with Callie’s body language in this game. She’s full of energy and quite hands-on, which is exactly how I expected her to be, even though this is pretty much the first time we see her physically interact with other characters in the entire Splatoon series. It just feels right.
It completely makes sense that Callie would spend the majority (why did that just autocorrect to Major Titty. Why.) of the pre-boss cutscene literally hanging off Marie’s arm, and the awesome thing about that is that Marie doesn’t pull away or look irritated by her cousin’s constant GRIPPING and SHAKING of her arm at all. I don’t know about you, but if I had someone attached to me like that while I was trying to think of a master plan, I’d be pretty annoyed. Unless, of course, it was Callie. I’m getting off track again here. My point WAS that Marie is so, so chill. I hate it when people try to portray her as angsty because she just… isn’t.
What all this body language shows is that Marie is a supportive, nurturing well of patience and ANYONE THAT SAYS OTHERWISE WILL BE FED TO THE BEASTS.
Which is WHY I think that during the scene where Craig is slightly rehydrated by the Captain’s tear, it would make way much more sense to have Marie reach out a hand to touch the Captain’s shoulder, or at least do something other than freezing there with an expression reminiscent of a damp, shocked cat. Now that Nintendo seems to have got their act together a little in terms of cutscenes, it would be nice to have more examples of characters (Marie. Marie is characters) using their body language to visually convey the finer points of their personality which may have been overlooked by some people *cough cough* Marie Trut-💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Struggling to find the point of this ‘argument’? So am I. What even is this? I’m not reading it back before I post it, that’s for sure. Gnight.

The Unspoken Rules of Tumblr
As explained by someone who joined around 2019
Tumblr for all intents and purposes is not like other social media websites. Think the “I’m not like other girls but they are not like other girls and it’s for the better. Having lurked around different social media platforms for years, I picked up on the spoken and unspoken rules that make this website more bearable than other ones. So here’s a list that will be important to new users.
Block but do not engage. Yes the rule that is understood by much of the user base and I think actually is one of the reasons why fandoms here are actually not that bad. If you remember any rule off this list, make it be this one. Why is this rule so important? Because flame wars often don’t change minds and it just creates a toxic environment. If you find someone that infuriates you, don’t attack them and just block. If they are really bad and pose a threat to people, collect evidence and do a warning post explaining why that person is dangerous but still block them.
Everyone here is a clown, even the famous ones. There is no superiority here. The number of followers you have often connects to how much of a clown you are. Now being a clown here isn’t always bad, many famous ones here make people’s days with their posts, but it’s not a contest here. In fact, fame is often considered a curse and once you have engrained yourself into the collective unconscious, you will mainly be remembered for why you became a famous tumblr clown.
Please hide your likes and follows. Don’t know how that started but it’s a thing here.
Likes do nothing, instead reblog. If it doesn’t fit the theme of your main blog, make a side blog for your reblogs.
Use tags. Tags are key here for both as a blog runner and blog reader. It allows you to quickly sort through things and see what you posted.
You don’t have to censor words like die or sex. We instead have trigger warnings tags that people can specifically block out if they don’t want to see content with stuff like that.
You want to been seen and see cool things, the algorithm is not going to do that for you. Instead you have to actively seek out what tags and blogs to follow to get the content you want. It’s more human and unlike most social media you gotta interact with people. If your feed is negative, it’s likely due to who you follow.
Don’t have a blank blog, the obvious bot usernames, or default profile pics. We are so used to fighting bots that we will auto block because of these. Some bots if you just try to click their username will get you viruses so we are careful.
Never forget the tumblr roots. Superwholock while often thought long dead still has a lasting memory here. It’s the websites heritage. Also add Hannibal and My Little Pony.
There is no cringe here for the most part. X Reader writers are just as valid as the artists here. We are all clowns because we are on this site.
Be kind and remember, people are just as human as you.
This has been you guide to Tumblr! I hope you enjoy this hellsite as much as I have.

so I ship stancest but I dont really talk about it because of how mean people can be, plus I dont want to lose any community over it. Do you have any suggestions on how to start interacting with stancest stuff without incurring wraith?
the main thing you wanna do is use an alt/sideblog. this account — minus for a private community i am, + following other stancest shippers — is entirely detached from my main. i even have an alt ao3 account. here’s a few tips on making a stancest sideblog:
make sure you’ve got your following tab hidden on your main. you might think, “oh, i won’t follow stancest blogs, that’s a liability” — you will. it’ll be fine. they’ll get it.
if you are a popular artist, and your style is distinct, either do not post your art or try and use a different style. this goes for all forms of art, though the bar changes — for example, authors do have unique writing styles, but, unless you’re writing some Really Groundbreaking Fanfiction, most people probably won’t go “hey, doesn’t this sound like x?”.
the above matter SIGNIFICANTLY less if you don’t post much/any gf art on main. at that point, you’re looking for a venn diagram overlap of “people who like whatever you normally post”, “people who look at stancest content”, and “people who hate stancest content”.
DO NOT POST IN THE MAIN TAG. do NOT. seriously. tumblr’s a lot more chill these days, and i’ve seen some stancest posts in the main tag that get away scot-free, but you’re IMMEDIATELY exposing urself to the hoarde. in a similar vein, censor ship names that aren’t considered problematic, like b1llf0rd, f1ddauth0r, f1ddlest4n, etc.
i wish u luck on ur stancest journey, fellow stancest secret society member 🫡

the internet is so overtly hostile to kids and young people. commercialisation and profit margins killed off the places younger kids were safe and welcome to be in, creeps and those seeking to goad people towards extremism took over those spaces designated for teens.
There is no safe place. Every time i see a 14 year old on twitter, I see them being told to get off the platform. It’s not safe, it’s not for you. And that’s entirely correct, twitter is not a safe place for a 14 year old, but where is? Tumblr? not really. Club penguin? it’s dead. Community forums? not really a thing anymore. Discord? not without that teen being very aware of their safety and how to look after themselves, at which point they may as well have stuck to twitter.
Like it or not, it’s the job of every single one of us to make a space that is safe for teens. Doesn’t mean you have to be kid friendly, just means you need to take reasonable precautions that your not-kid-friendly content stays in your space, that they can’t accidentally come across it. Content warnings, censoring/spoilering posts, possibly avoiding the main tags for a thing if that topic is child friendly and your art is not. stuff like that. Like if young people are likely to search for stuff like lego, maybe don’t put your nsfw bionicle ship art into the general lego tag, stuff like that.
It’s your job to keep an eye out for your fellow humans. If you see a young person they you know displaying signs that they’re possibly being harassed/groomed/generally made uncomfortable/not doing well, make sure they have a safe person to speak to. You don’t have to be that safe person, you just need to make sure there’s someone who can listen to them.
If you see a kid doing something they really shouldn’t be, it’s on you to explain why they shouldn’t be doing that. Don’t berate them, don’t attack them for it. Explain, help them to understand why that’s concerning to you. We all know internet safety classes in schools are pretty rubbish, usually super outdated. I did a child safety course like two years ago that still included tips on building a safe myspace page. School isn’t going to teach kids about the immediate issues on todays internet, it’s on the community around them to guide them and look out for them.
Also playground humour is fine, just be aware when you’re joining in to not take it too far or make it weird. And bear in mind that even just by virtue of being a couple of years older than whatever young person you’re talking to, there’s a power imbalance in that conversation. Don’t encourage playground humour to the point of making it an entirely inappropriate topic. Your the one guiding this conversation, steer it in the right direction.
And if you see someone being weird towards any minor, wether you know them or not, call that shit out. Let it be known that someone is keeping an eye out, let that kid know that they’re welcome and they’re looked out for. Let that creep know that people see them, and people are very, very aware of what they’re doing. Make them feel unwelcome, run them out of your spaces, spread awareness of risky people. Keep your spaces safe.
This is all especially as important as IRL spaces become more hostile to potentially vulnerable young people. Queer teens especially are going to be looking for community and safety online more and more frequently. Make sure that the places they find will be a respite from the real world, not just a different set of threats to navigate.
Make sure young people feel safe on the internet, and make sure that those looking to take advantage of their presence, don’t.
Why am i writing all this? I’ve seen too many posts about people’s experiences as a young person online, and i talked to my brother the other day about him and his friend’s experiences and it’s terrifying that there’s really nowhere for young people to go. Also i’ve realised that i’m not doing enough to be part of the solution. so this is part of that, im gonna be far, far more aware of the issue and doing more to try and help.
#internet safety#This post brought to you by seeing several communities on twitter oust dodgy people the last few days#no beef with bionicle fans btw i just couldn’t think of another example

random helpful tumblr tips
The tumblr guide I keep reblogging already mentions that we don’t censor words here, like, c*ns*r w*rds, but doesn’t explain why: stuff you type in the post body isn’t searchable in the way that tweets are. Only your followers, people who google that specific thing, and people who view the tags will ever see it. (Also, do tag your posts, so that you or others could easily sort things on your blog)
Please correct me if I’m wrong but if you type a long tag with “ass” in it, as opposed to tagging “ass” separately, you also stay safe from randoms. I’ve been noticing tumblr filters suppressing some presumably nsfw words in the tags but I need a larger sample size on this. “Suppressing” as in hiding your post from the tag, so if you’re a content creator, I’d suggest keeping your tags sfw for visibility.
So there IS a lowkey algorithm on tumblr, but it only looks to hide nsfw posts and links, often erroneously. Otherwise your timeline dashboard is chronological. Use adblocks, xkit, fiddle with your tumblr settings, and enjoy a feed free from bs. Go browse around, and don’t forget to sort the tags by latest.
Also a very specific grahafucker tip: like many xiv names, his is a pain to tag. Here’s his main tag: g’raha tia. The unfortunate variations that see no traffic: g’raha tia (a DIFFERENT symbol, HOW), graha, graha tia, grahatia. Nobody uses those here.
If you’re new/returning, feel free to ask anything in the comments, I’ll try my best to help o/

Chapter 2. High Society
A beginner’s guide to tumblr etiquette
— How the algorithm works —
Ok so maybe that’s a misnomer. Tumblr doesn’t actually have an algorithm, and so the way all things circulate is reblogs. If you see a post that you like give it a reblog so that more people will see it.
This doesn’t mean liking the post is useless! If you like the post the op gets a notification that somebody liked their post and that would understandably make them happy. Give the post a like! It’s like giving the op a pat and going ‘Nice post!’
If you see somebody post a poem or a fanfiction or a sketch or a drawing and you think it’s nice like and reblog it! Artists struggle to circulate on here and it’s SO helpful to creators of all types!
Don’t try and get famous, you won’t. If you’re not already a content creator on another site you won’t get far with trying for fame. If you post something it will either blow up or not, it’s up to the people.
Brands don’t make it far here and neither do celebrities so the odds are we’ll push them out if they get here.
— Discorse —
Maybe you don’t like something somebody posted, maybe it’s problematic, whatever the case you don’t interact. Don’t reblog it with your opinion or even comment on the post. Block the person that posted it and move on. If they said something truly problematic (Something illegal or against the guidelines) then report them and block them.
So now let’s say you have a pet peeve about a fandom and you want to post about it. In this case let’s use a ship you hate as an example. Don’t use the main tags of the ship use a discorse tag. (they exist you just need to look a bit more.) If you don’t use a discourse tag then expect to be blocked.
— Friends? —
You reblog a post with a funny comment and somebody adds to that. You lead into a back and forth of commenting and laughing, you fallow them back, they fallow you back. This is a mutual!
When you fallow somebody and they fallow you back their your mutual. Mutuals tend to exchange dms and reblog each other’s posts. Their a generally nice thing to have and it’s like having friends that actually texts you back- *begins crying*
— What else you can do with tags —
When you reblog something and you want to comment but don’t care if more people see the what you said then put it in the tags. When somebody reblogs the post your tags will not appear under their post.
If you see somebody posted tags you like you can screenshot the tags and reblog the post with the tags you screenshoted. This is called peer review.
— If you do this I’ll maul you. —
If you repost art credit the artist but generally don’t repost art. Reblog don’t repost. If I add a funny caption though… NO! Credit the artist even if it’s a meme!
— tw ₩h@t d03$ th@t $@¥?? —
If you for whatever reason need to use a trigger warning for a post don’t censor yourself when you tag it.
When you need to use a trigger warning you should tag it with the triggering topic without censoring. Example:
Correct: #tw Suicide
Incorrect: #tw $u!¢!d3
If when you tag a trigger warning censoring the tag will prevent the people who need the trigger warning from being protected.
If you’re posting something with flashing lights don’t tag it as “#Photosensitive, #Photosensitivity, #Epilepsy” these are where photosensitive people talk about their experiences. Tag it as “#tw flashing lights” or “#flashing lights”
— Sorry, I’m cringe! —
Don’t worry about seeming cringe when you post! Tumblr is the reason cringe culture is dead, post about your empty or hated fandom! Do whatever you want! These are free lands!
More advice here!

I hate how people are trying to make so many different ship names for ships that already have a name. Like I understand having two ship names, one for the names mixed together (Jaya, Conya, etc) and one for something that matches the characters (Lava, Bluepencil, etc) but for some reason people have seeming to be adding more and more ship names to ships that don’t need new ones?
Like logically wouldn’t it just mess up so many things? Expectably people who don’t tag things with character name x character name? For people looking for the ship they can’t find it as easily without having to figure out every single combination for the ship. If I’m looking for Kai x Zane I will check for Opposite-shipping not Peppermint-shipping or Icyhot-shipping or etc because Opposite is the most common and most longest name standing. For fandoms like DreamZzz which doesn’t have many posts for ships because of how little it’s talked about for one of its ships I have seen about 5 different names for it?? When they really can’t have 5 different names when each of these names only have 3 posts for the tag each. This also goes for people who don’t want to see a certain ship. If I have censored a ship I wouldn’t want to put 17 different names for the ship. It just doesn’t make sense for either side to enjoy the massive amount of different ship names, for looking for or avoiding.
I think it's fine if you have alt ship names you're trying to get to catch on, but you've got to also tag the main ship name, because otherwise... what are you doing? No way your ship name is going to catch on if you're not putting it in front of people actively searching for that ship. It's not even just common tagging curtesy, it's basic brand awareness principles.
Side note, if you're promoting an alternate name for opposite shipping (which honestly, I don't blame you) how in the world is it not freezerburn?

ALRIGHT WE’RE RUNNING THE POLLS AGAIN CHAT WE LOVE THE POLLSS YEAHHHHH
ok genuine question would you guys want me to like. Make a seperate tag for the more angsty bug stuff so you can block it and not have it go into the main Bug tagged stuff because im realizing it might be a bit intense for some ppl (this would also probably apply to like, if i decide to talk about other DSMP headcanons of a similar caliber in the future which I do plan on not just limited to Bug/Beeduo stuff. Also i will NOT be putting it on like, posts about the pregnancy + breastfeeding unless they have something serious going along with them. Those will remain as they are, normal tags with trigger tags) ((ADDED NOTE: if they’re censored with a specific tag i’ll probably still have the trigger tags just so ppl know whats in there)) (((ALSO DONT. BE WEIRD ABOUT IT IM BEGGING)))

I still cant believe you and your wack fans found a twitter account posting gross art that used tags specific to that wack fetish in a way that made it very clear what the art was going to be, then clicked on the blurred image anyway and acted all shocked. You then proceeded to SHARE THE LINK TO THE ART. you were legit like "smh i cant believe this guy would post something so depraved in a public space" despite the fact you exposed a much larger audience to it than the twitter account would have ever gotten. I would have literally never seen any of that shit if your stupid ass didn't post the link. I would have gone my whole life never seeing it because i dont actively search "necrophilic feral art" on twitter.
Im not going to debate the actual ethicality of agro's art, but from your perspective: if you genuinely thought the content was harmful why did you share it???
I wonder if theres a term for this type of blunder. Theres definitely "dead dove: do not open" and "👀girl what were YOU doing at the devil's sacrament" elements at play here, but i wonder if theres a term for when internet people share niche disturbing content only to accomplish exposing the content to a larger audience and not actually do any "justice".
Anon I don’t have a twitter, did not visit his twitter, did not link his twitter, and just reblogged a few screen shots that showed his posts and heavily censored pictures of his art. I explicitly avoided any call out that posted the uncensored versions because I didn’t want anyone to have to actually look at the graphic material themselves.
And I only saw it in the first place because people linked me a call out post made by someone who has me blocked and doesn’t even like my blog lol.
You’re reaching very hard to try to catch me in a “ohoho you MUST have LIKED that stuff or you would’ve never FOUND IT” as though Agro and I didn’t have a previous falling out that made it relevant enough that my followers kept sending me receipts. I don’t know how or why the pit bull blog found all of that. You’d have to ask them, not me, because my answer is that I received some ten asks within an hour about it as soon as the post made by someone I’m not affiliated with was circulating.
Idk, anon. You’re grasping at straws on this one. I have also never gone to twitter and searched “necrophilic feral art”. I doubt the pit bull blog did either, Agro has promoted his nsfw twitter in his main account in the past. I think that just might be a more likely explanation for people finding it and being disturbed by what he posted since they could have followed his main for normal furry and warrior cats art.

TWEWY Series Analysis/Theory Crafting Master Post
I have a master post for translations (included below) but I don't have one for other analysis posts that I've done. So here is a master post gathering everything here, including translations.
I do a lot of, uh, extra theory crafting and playing with ideas on my art blog, so those posts aren't going to be here unless they also contain something more concrete. If really going off on theory crafting interests you, then check out the #higher plane experimentation and the #neo higher plane experimentation tags on my art blog. For my main blog, I'm going to start tagging any analysis posts with something like #sal posts about twewy series. If I've missed a post that you think should be included, let me know!

i don’t know where to find other people who were disappointed in Geekish Celibacy Advocates Gotta Go to commiserate with. don’t wanna clog up the main tag with negativity because people just browsing abojt a musical they like don’t need that. but holy shit was this show a letdown for me and i cant find one other comment or review anywhere that acknowledges Any flaws :(
edit: censored the name of the show and didn’t tag @ all w/ the show’s name, but this’ll still pop up in searches for starkid and the effort required to edit tags on tumblr is INSANE, so i’m adding Starkid Negativity to the front of the post for blocking purposes of anypony doesn’t want this in their search!
#starkid negativity#letdown for a lot of reasons but it’s still probably just a 5/10#it isn’t. horrible. i just do not get in Any Way the praise being lathered on it#especially the music#it wasn’t even that funny :(#i’ve never felt like one or two actors have ever CARRIED a starkid show alone before#max and chastity being the ones who carried hardcore here#they were funny and well written and even got most of the Not Bad songs in the show. good for them#but a lot of what they’re surrounded by is just :( underwhelming#i didn’t expect the Story here to be AMAZING WOWWWW bc that’s rarely what i watch starkid for. twisted knocked it out of the park but#for the most part starkid shows aren’t drawing me in with their Plots#the comedy and fun music and nice acting is the appeal for me and this show only really had 1 of the 3 in spades :(#that’s the acting. the acting was good nobody phoned it they were all clearly acting their asses off and enjoying themselves. that’s great#would’ve been greater if they jokes they were delivering and the songs they were singing were#also good#i’ve been a starkid fan since before the third very potter musical dropped*#i usually love starkid’s productions. they were a very good portion of my childhood and adolescence#trying to keep my criticisms here focused on Being Subjective. not saying any of my thoughts here are objective facts abt the show#using a lot of I Feel and To Me statements here. if this does show up in the N//P//M//D tags i’m not saying anybody is dumb or wrong#for liking it. if they did like it#but For Me this show really was a letdown compared to the rest of the starkid catalogue#starkid is allowed to change and evolve. of course it is and it deserves to. but id hope that a Starkid Spirit remains as a througline for#their entire catalogue#yknow. the quintessential essence of Star Kid. and it didn’t feel very present here :(#i have removed the title of the show from the post and it isn’t in the tags. but i’m gonna add a tag for blacklisting just in case

⚓️listen up buccaneers! This ship has been real mismanaged lately, but I run a tight ship here. Our main account is starshipsys, and this is our VENT and NSFW account. Expect lots of barely censored triggering topics on this account. I’m talking NSFW as in gore, not porn, but there will be horny textposts. That’s not what this account used to be, but it’s what it is now!
Our system used to be split in half, with one half on the other account, and the other half on this account. That’s not how it’s gonna work anymore. We’re ONE crew, and we won’t be having any mutinies here. I will listen to all crewmates but ultimately I’M the guy in charge, got it? This account is for ANYONE in the system to use. It’s where we put the gross stuff that we don’t want to share on our main. If we’re following you, either you post stuff we want to see, or you’re a friend we trust.
We are proship and proendo. I don’t give a shit what you believe in or how your system formed. I don’t give a shit what you’re into because we’re into weird shit as a coping mechanism, and we’re not about that gatekeeping lifestyle. We are willing to befriend ANYONE as long as they’re respectful and don’t cause us harm. I don’t care what you’ve done or believed. I only care who you are now and how you treat me, my system, the people close to me, and the people close to you. Close meaning both in proximity and in intimacy. We don’t bother engaging with obvious bait and arguments that would get nowhere, so don’t bring discourse here.
With all that being said, here’s a list of alters and what to expect, as well as the ideal way of interacting with them. We are not used to the tumblr tagging system, but I’m gonna try and get us to start tagging things as “[insert alter name] starshipsys” to make it possible to filter certain alters out or search for certain alters in particular. Unless otherwise specified, all alters enjoy being talked to about whatever they’re saying.
🧤Agate, they/them. 8. Childhood trauma venting, general fears and anxiety, sadposting. Please talk to them, avoid sexual subjects and violent subjects.
🪩Boppie, they/them. 21. Wanting to do drugs, wanting to go to parties, generally very bad life advice and unhealthy coping mechanisms. They won’t be able to have a very deep conversation with you, but love talking to people.
♠️Cole, he/it. 21. Venting about lost relationships within the system, references to self harm or alters attempting to self harm, weird sexual stuff about being turned on by sharp objects piercing soft flesh. He holds a lot of autistic symptoms, and doesn’t talk much.
Daisy, she/her. 7. Hypersexual syskid, yes they are real, but we’re not comfortable sharing anything she wants to say anyway. You can only talk to her if she talks to you first, and you cannot engage in any of her sexual nature unless you have our simplyplural and a safe alter is fronting alongside her. Trying to sexualize her without explicit permission from a safe alter and HER will result in us never talking to you ever again.
🔭Estella, she/they. 21. Mostly just frustration with classes. Feel free to talk to her.
🐁Fobi, it/she. Nonhuman adolescent. Panic attacks, triggering situations we experience in real life, irrational behavior in an attempt to prevent abuse from happening again (IE disfiguring yourself out of fear that being attractive will result in sexual assault). Please try to talk to it and calm it down, if Fobi is fronting we are probably in an immediate danger.
🦇Grim, it/any. Nonhuman adolescent. Romanticization of abusive behaviors, fawning stress response. It wants to be abused in every way. Try to reassure it that it can be loved without being abused.
🌺Haven, she/he. 21. Mostly just rambles about the people we love, affection towards friends, maybe even soft hornyposting. She likes talking to people, especially if you’re our friend. He might even make a post about you if you talk to him.
✏️Indigo, they/them. 12. Probably vents about not being able to achieve our dreams and life goals we had when younger. Get them talking about a special interest and they’ll adore you. Sex repulsed, don’t bring that up.
🎊Jynx, she/any. Ageless entity. God complex posting, torture threats, and domination fantasies (sexual and nonsexual). She is actually friendly, despite how mean she presents herself as, and desperate for the approval of others.
🍠Kakxyl, he/any. Ageless entity. He is the alter that changes the roles of other alters, and will talk about everything all of the other alters talk about, but from an outside perspective. He won’t engage in conversation if he’s busy.
🫐Lynx, he/any. Ageless entity. Not much, really. Probably won’t post at all. He can barely communicate, and generally him fronting means we’re experiencing a wide variety of emotions, specifically from an emotional attack on either the inside or outside.
⚓️Maverick, they/he. 21. Goals for the future and plans, as well as general venting about daily frustrations. Assume they’re talking to another alter unless they’re talking directly to you.
🍥Nyan, he/she. 6-8. Whatever kids complain about when they don’t have trauma, idk. Please talk to them and try to cheer them up. If you bring up anything traumatic, though, we will be very upset with you. He probably won’t even be allowed on this account anyway.
🚀Oscar, he/him. Nonhuman adult. Vents about how awful all of our relationships and the people we love are. He specifically holds the splitting towards hate symptoms of BPD whereas Haven and Grim hold splitting towards love. Don’t take what he says too seriously, he is intentionally trying to push you away because he is afraid you’ll abuse us. Don’t talk to him unless you’re in a sane enough mental state to deal with him.
🩵Present, she/it. Nonhuman adult. Sad posts about our relationship with an ex, and attempts to comfort other alters. She likes when people talk to her, but can be a bit of a downer.
🥀Quasiren, they/them. 17-19. Venting about relationships in an attempt to build a codependent relationship with someone. They love when people talk to them.
🥩Raptorse, it/its. Nonhuman adult. Vorny (vore+horny) posting, hunger. Doesn’t hold conversations very well unless they involve food.
🎆Starbound, she/any. Ageless entity. Rage posting, threats to hurt herself or others, general aggression. If you weren’t the reason she fronted, feel free to talk to her. If you are the reason she fronted, you should probably wait about thirty minutes to an hour after she starts fronting. You can ask her if you made her front.
🪱Tazelein, he/any. Ageless entity. Torture posting, threats to torture, horny posting, romanticization of literally every bad thing ever. Yes, every bad thing ever. Yes, even that. He doesn’t represent our “true feelings” about anything, he mostly just provides a source to point to for our intrusive thoughts. He will say some fucked up shit to you, but he loves people very much, and hates death.
🕊️Utopia, they/them. Ageless entity. Weird philosophical or religious nonsense. Will probably try to convert you to whatever religion they’re making up right now.
🦠Vitriol, it/its. Nonhuman adult. Hatred for the system, disgust for all alters, will talk about everything we’ve ever done wrong. Wants to push people away to protect them from us. Won’t want to talk to you, most likely, unless you directly triggered its fronting.
🕸️Webber, they/any. Ageless entity. Abandonment issues, trust issues, soft bondage, probably some hornyposting. Will love talking to you, but tends to ramble and send very long messages.
🔥Xray, he/him or xe/xim/xis. Primordial god. Generic and vague complaints about our daily life. Likes to cut to the chase in conversations and be very direct.
🌲Yarrow, they/it or yey/yem/yeir. Primordial god. Long rambles about various alter’s mental states, similar to what Kakxyl may post, but with the purpose of informing outsiders rather than changing the perspectives of alters. Yey want someone to listen to and talk with, but might stop replying spontaneously if yey get particularly invested in documenting something.
🌊Zenith, ze/zer/zers. Primordial god. Positive things, sexual things, and general bragging about our life and our successes. Ze loves people and would love to talk.
As a general rule, only talk to alters that you’re comfortable talking to. No, this is not roleplay. We have disabling DiD, and yes it is diagnosed. If you do something to upset us, we will tell you directly before we publicly vent about it.

oof okay. i didn’t think i would have to make a post talking about it but this may be my general blanket statement about it and hopefully i don’t need to make a hard and fast rule about this topic (for myself).
generally speaking, idgaf if minors follow me. i used to yeah—and i used to try and censor my blog and shit i posted because i knew i had, essentially, kids following me (why they were, no fucking idea but that’s the main reason i deleted my old blog and made this new one here because i was getting so stressed out about it) and i just didn’t want to be held responsible for “exposing them to shit” or something like that.
however. like. it’s my space, it’s my area, and i was (before) making myself miserable worrying about fucking children so i decided that i’m just not gonna do that anymore. and generally speaking, since making this blog i haven’t. when i was a teen, i followed and interacted with adults on the internet and i was fine. and i know i have some followers/mutuals/friends that i’ve known since they were younger and i didn’t feel weird about talking to them or anything. it’s good for kids to have outside adults to talk to etc etc but that’s not why i’m making this post.
basically, i’m making this post to say: if you are going to be a teenager/young adult (like 16-19) and you decide to follow me i need you to understand that i’m an adult, i talk about adult things (not just sex btw i mean just like. i’m for the exploration of dark topics in media and it will show up in my work occasionally) and that is your responsibility to navigate.
basically what i’m saying is, and bless this person’s heart. i just had a young teen/adult gimme a follow. and usually when people follow me, i do a quick scroll check to see what they post, if i want to follow back, etc etc. but the first post i saw on their blog was them rbing a very… shall we say young and on the internet opinion against a nuanced post that i personally rbed on my side blog myself without the take that this person rbed on it. just as a tldr the original post said basically “dark topics in media should exist and can be a tool to help people know what it looks like and identify it in real life so they can be able to navigate and stop this shit from happening irl.” like. a basic sentence and take (to me). this is obviously not saying you Have to go seek out media that makes you uncomfortable to read it if you don’t want to, but i’ve seen the notes on that post and i’ve seen and heard people talk about how having access to media that discussed their situation helped them themselves either come to grips with it, or to identify that it was happening or happened to them. it’s a nuanced take, and it’s one that i (personally) agree with.
yet the comment they rbed is the usual argument you see from someone who is not able to think about a situation broadly. the standard “oh well i’ve experienced csa before so i don’t need to see what it looks like” which again, tapping the sign, this is not for you then, and you don’t have to read books that explore those topics if you don’t want to. but the fact of the matter is: you aren’t going to know what everything looks like that is the breadth of the human experience—positive, or negative. shutting yourself off from potentially experiencing it via reading (a safe place) isn’t going to help you help anyone or have a complete understanding or opinion about it aside from this knee jerk reaction which is the antithesis of the post. and when all you (the person i’ve blocked btw. idk if it’s hard or soft and i don’t care really) have to add to this conversation via tags is “oh op probably made this post to justify jerking it to mha porn” then i need you to understand you are too young to be following me.
i trust people to make their own decisions. but i don’t really understand when people follow me and then have opinions like this. (hell there’s a lot of people who follow me where i don’t understand Why because it doesn’t seem like what i write would be in their wheelhouse but i can’t and won’t police people from reading my shit if they want to) however when i see stuff like this especially coming from a youngin’ i just don’t want to deal with that. because i know one day i will probably post or talk about something nuanced and i don’t want to invite a potential “callout” or “cancel culture” or freak out in my notes or argument in my inbox i’m just not doing it.
so at this time i’m not making a rule that i don’t want minors/youngins following me, again, i don’t care, but if you are going to like please please please actually understand when you don’t need to be following an adult with opinions that make you uncomfortable for your own sake.

Intro Post
Hello, my name is Mist, but you can call me River, Riveret, Soup, or really any other name under the sun that isn’t inappropriate.
I made this blog to chat with others and express myself to those who I know will validate me.
Here’s my pronoun page, please read it as it’s important.
I have quite a few interests, but my main ones are:
Object shows
The Pink Corruption
Regretevator
Bugbo
Wandersong
Minesweeper
JSaB
CRK / Cookie Run Kingdom
Note: just because they’re my interests doesn’t mean I’m always going to post about them.
Another note: I do not associate myself with being in the jsab fandom and never will. I just like the game.
I would appreciate it if you don’t interact with me if you:
Fall under basic DNI lists.
Are a NSFW, NSFT or minor DNI blog.
Support people, ships, or other miscellaneous things that are problematic.
Are a proshipper / comshipper (technically falls under above rule but I want to make sure y’all understand this one).
Strongly enforce / project your religion onto others.
Go to blogs to be an asshat.
[ NOTE: I am fine with adult blogs interacting, just don’t be weird or creepy. I am a minor, I would NOT like to deal with that. ]
I also have a few tags I use (which may be added onto).
Mist’s Shenanigans - Out of context posts, shitposts or just me being chaotic.
Mist’s Art - My art based posts. [NOTE: Some posts may contain vent art: these are tagged vent art and have a “continue under cut” as well.]
Mist’s Ask Responses - Ask responses.
Mist’s Submissions - My submissions.
Mist’s Thoughts - My thoughts, negative and positive. [Please look at the tone tags on these posts; I’d appreciate it.]
Right before we get to the last of all of this, here’s some notes about me.
I am a minor. Please don’t be weird with me and keep that in mind when interacting.
I dislike the topic of religion due to past and current events in my life. It’d be immensely preferred if the topic is brought away from me.
I may have hyperactive-impulsive adhd (I am not diagnosed) meaning that I can be very disorganized, chaotic, forgetful and hyperactive at times I shouldn’t. Please bear with me, I’m trying my best here.
I curse; if you don’t like this, please tell me and I’ll try to tone it down.
I find it difficult to tell what tones people are in sometimes, so it’d be appreciated if you use some form of tone indicator like tone tags.
I love it when people interact with me. I love seeing notifications! Feel free to mass like and/or reblog my posts, as I don’t mind in the slightest.
I am the embodiment of the word ambivert. (Half joking here; I’m just extremely ambiverted.)
I myself may mass like and reblog people’s posts, please tell me if you don’t like this.
Lastly, here’s some boundaries of mine. Please respect them.
If you know my real name, please do NOT use variations of it. I genuinely hate variations of my name being used on me and it makes me uncomfortable.
I dislike the topic of religion, as seen above. Please don’t bring it into casual conversation, as I’ve already been exposed to enough toxic religion related stuff.
Don’t reblog my vents unless there’s a tag explicitly saying you can. Please just comment or ignore them.
Please don’t censor tws. I have a few things filtered out and I don’t want to see them.
Here’s some userboxes; thanks for reading!
(By the way, the only userbox that is mine is the minesweeper one; the others are not mine.)
[ The separators were made by @cafekitsune, please go give them some love and check them out! /nf ]
