Dredd was made by @celepom; he was never “mine” to discontinue.

I enjoy when friends or fans make characters related to mine but I don’t include them in my AU because they don’t belong to me. And I don’t adopt characters, I just sometimes draw them for my friends.

I still love Dredd and he’ll always be a Shadora baby to me. Just like I love any and all Shadora babies other people have made over the years.

Recently bought a copy of Drawn to Life, a comic collection about Atem staying after the Ceremonial Duel by @celepom & @auroblaze. It's 100% delightful, I've been screaming since page one.

But I'm also really liking Yugi's mom.

Please, please please go buy this! The dialogue is spot on, I love the Puzzleshipping in this, and it's managed to make me laugh, cry and blush in 10 pages.

Life has been treating me better recently. I had a really rough year last year, with being sick for months, losing my job, burning out on art, and running into conflict with neighbours. But I'm doing much better this year. I'm working a creatively fulfilling job, but it takes most of my creative juices so I haven't been able to get fully back into my own art yet. I'm slowly working on it, it just might take a while.

GGs: #3 Round Reveal

Kusanagi-san is the exclusive love interest for Ryouken's route for VL, which I happily dubbed Patronshipping since there so far haven't been a consensus for their shipping name. So, here's a YGO HC I thought about and I wanted to share. I saw someone point that when Atem is possesing Yugi, he obviously has light skin because it's not his body, something that changes when we see how he looked when he was alive.

Here's the thing. Of course this is not the case because of YGO's art style, but what if Atem's face was also slightly different? Like, it's still the same face, but when he's on Yugi's body he has slightly more Japanese facial features, but with his own body he has more Egyptian features. (With the difference being subtle since well, Yugi is supposed to look nearly identical to Atem)

I thought it would be a cool detail! What do you think?

It is a cool detail! I've seen it done quite a few times from artists that I adore (on top of my head I can think of @lord0f, @brobexx , @celepom and @jujuoh with their Atems)! They are their own person after all from different places (and time) of the Earth, but connected still by the puzzle magic... so yes of course I appreciate this take on their character designs too :>

If anyone told Henry that being on the run was difficult. Then he might as well have stayed back in the palace walls, sitting pretty and doing whatever in Kira's name that royals do all day; negotiate, please their family, and get arranged for marriage. No one told him that working for your keep was a task he wanted to just toss out the window and him probably following after never to be seen again. Who knew being a commoner was difficult? He glared at the stack of wooden bowls near him, sitting innocently by the green grass like it were an unholy demon snarling at him. “They are not going to bite you, you know?” Atemu's voice chimes. Henry turned his glare at Atemu who was scrubbing away at the white sheet on a wooden washboard that was half submerged on the flowing crystalline waters of a stream that stretched out to half a house wide. Smooth and rough stones occasionally bobbled from the translucent waters.

Hades Coffee Shop AU - Thanatos works at a coffee shop that turns into a bar at night, in the midst of his second shift (working the morning, then into the evening 'cuz short-staffed) a band starts to perform and the lead singer Zagreus catches his tired attention.

Oh hello, a cafe AU AND a band AU! Lovely match up :0

Thanatos being all grumpy about working such a long shift but then the lead singer of the band Pomagranted winks at him before starting the first song of the set and Thanatos is smitten.

During a break between sets, Zagreus chats with Thanatos and, before going back on stage, stuff bar’s tip jar full and turns away-- only to sheepishly come back a few minutes later because “Keep forgetting my father cut me off. I still need a fiver for the ride home,” which prompts Than to impulsively offer Zagreus a ride home after the show. 

I love this~ Now I get to sit here and think up the name of the cafe/bar Than works at....

I have one younger brother, legally speaking. But I feel like I have a lot of people I consider siblings that have found their way into my life tangentially. It would feel wrong to not include them.

📺 TV show I would recommend to everyone?

Star Trek DS9, probably? TOS is my favorite, but I feel like DS9 is more approachable to more people. The movie I would recommend to everyone would definitely be Star Trek IV: Voyage Home, because it’s my favorite movie of all time.

💰Last thing I bought myself?

A new set of earrings! I found out I have a minor metal allergy recently? So I swapped my usual studs for a stainless steel pair. I wanted to buy the cool sword earrings but someone else got to them first…

“Shush, Atemu!”

“Can’t believe we’re doing this...”

“Hello, I can hear you two perfectly!” Timaeus smiled, waving at the two men who sat next to his right. He got a glare from Atemu, but the effect of it was lost thanks to the deep blush on his face that was still very clear under the lights in the theater.

Yugi sighed loudly, holding up his hands between the two. “Timaeus was nice enough to invite us to the movies, Atemu, please be nice. And Tim, I think it would be far if you didn’t egg him on.”

“I’m not doing a thing.” Timaeus smiled still, before snatching the bucket of popcorn.

The lights dimmed and the trailers started to play. Atemu kept glancing over at Yugi out of the corner of his eyes, seeing that the blue-eyed man next to him was watching the screen, at least... he thought he was? Hard to tell when he could only see the closed eye.

He turned his attention away as the movie started, only to nearly gasp aloud when something gently brushed the back of his neck. He turned sharply, seeing a hand, wiggling a few fingers. He looked at Timaeus, who seemed to have a smirk on his lips, but wasn’t looking at him.

The artist wanted to get up and move to another spot, but Yugi was gently holding his hand, and he didn’t want to bother his husband as he watched the movie. With a sigh, he remained seated, trying not to react to the fingers gently playing with his hair.

Meanwhile, Yugi himself was a bit flustered, he had put his hand in the bucket of popcorn, feeling another set of fingers toy with his own. His cheeks burned when Timeaus leaned over and whispered. “Enjoying the film, gem?”

“Y-yes?”

“And you, spitfire,” He leaned over, catching Atemu’s attention, “having fun?”

“Hhh...” Atemu tried to give him another dark look, but... okay, even he couldn’t resist, the man was stupidly good with simple flirting. How the hell were he and Yugi falling for just gentle touches!?

“Yugi, when we get home, please do not write a fanfic about this.”

“I can’t promise that there won’t be some teasing in the next update.” Yugi smiled. “Now shhh, you two, the movie’s still playing.”
