What I loved about Cinderella's Castle is it is so entirely about Ella. We know starkid can handle a show with tons and tons of characters but I found it quite refreshing for it to be so wholly her story? I think it was a lovely choice for this show and man Bryce did such a perfect job of it, she is truly such a star

eda redesign for the canis caninam cast lineup!! canis caninam is an ongoing/in-progress owl house AU centering around a timeline where witches are much more animalistic, the covens are a caste system, and luz knows more than she reasonably should. here, eda is a wild, brandless witch who woke up 12 years after going to sleep on her 15th birthday, only to find out that not only had a playful ritual she'd conducted with her friends out of pure curiosity gone horribly wrong, but that she'd lost over a decade of her life to a monstrous rampage, and was now stuck in the body of a demon. not only that, but her strange nightmare of having to give raine up as they exchanged their freedom for her life in a court meeting was not a dream at all. she returned to her family's home one last time, to find bloodstains that had never been washed from the floor, and one thing waiting for her, after all these years:

the thing she'd bargained for that night, a portal key to the human realm. with that in hand, eda, the owl-lady, makes her nest in a sentient home on bonesborough's outskirts, bribing and cheating her way into the city every week to trade the things she finds when she sends her palisman out into the human realm, too scared to fly out herself after her first trip there lent disastrous results.

I feel pretty confident saying Ash to Ash is the strongest act 1 finale for a Starkid show and that What if Tomorrow Comes is the strongest finale song for a Starkid show. And frankly they give me similar vibes so whatever is going on with those two keep at it, it's working and it's working WELL.

JULEIC IS BACK!!!!!!!! AHHHHH. MY LUV!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really think I captured his warm smile / kind eyes and that was what I was stressed about the most tbh lol. It's hard to make a one to one transfer but I am happy with it! I'd love the challenge to try again in my next PT. :3

I kind of wish I chose a different hairstyle closer to how he looks in Inquisition buuut I wanted to show his hair a little differently with the timeskip. Dorian has influenced his looks afterall. You can't date Dorian without him giving his opinions on how the inquisitor styles himself let's be real. The shaved underside of his bun is the boldest Juleic gets with it 😌 Unfortunately you can't really see it in the cutscene so I hope we see him again with a better/closer side profile! I would've created a "what was the Inquisitor's relationship to Solas?" slide rather than "Who did you romance?" IF WE'RE STAYING CONFINED TO THREE CHOICES, anyways.

If only Solas matters (since he's the only romance coming back), I think we should've just fleshed out Solas's relationship to every type of Inquisitor, rather than just Solavellan. It literally could've just been "Solas disapproved/approved of the Inquisitor." That would solve my personal struggle over the fact my Inquisitor and Solas despised each other, it's a lot more than "vowing to stop Solas." This would also mean they could've had Solas have different reactions to the Inquisitor, you know. In a way that makes sense. Because if that is already coded in, but attached to the save/stop Solas choice, we have such major problems for so many different kinds of Inquisitors I don't know where to begin.
