​i'm not so sure if even aang knew at the time that he was the avatar. he would have been around nine years old? which means he and his friends basically got to find out that he was the avatar together because of course the first thing aang did after overhearing gyatso and the other air nomad elders talk about it was go freak out to his friends.

(zuko is just like. wait hang on a moment. you can't be the avatar. the avatar was my grandfather. and he realizes his mistake the moment he says that because aang looks at him with shining eyes and squeezes him in a hug like GRANDSON!

i don't think aang was compelled by roku to go visit zuko in his hospital room. he just did that all on his own! you see he saw this really miserable looking kid only a few years older than him being rolled by and just knew he had to talk to him. and so he did and the rest is history.

(at least the gaang finds out about aang being the avatar before the paparazzi does. because that's a thing they have to deal with, huh.)

How comfortable would you rate the seating at the particular airport you are in?

They're not too bad, larger size chairs with decent seat cushions and some even have leg rests, but the backs are a little hard

Truly, Frank/Forkface is a mystery

We DON'T KNOW if he's an astral body OR something beyond it. We only got ONE conformation that Golden Freddy can't sense Frank, we don't know his nor Puppet's connection to any of the Astral Bodies like Gemini.

Or if he's BEYOND THAT all together!

Gemini insists they can't interfere directly with anything that's not Astral Body business, such as anything that'll lead to a Wither Storm or abuse of Star Power.

Meanwhile we got Frank just... doing whatever he wants. Making warnings and interacting with whoever he pleases, unseen by Golden Freddy and respected/feared by Puppet. And no response by Gemini, who only seems to fear reactions from Tauros and Leo. While talking about an unknown party outside the zodiac.

Frank is not only so powerful he could threaten the Stitchwraith while taking them out into OUTERSPACE, and can appear where ever they please at any time, survive witherstorms when thrown to different dimensions, Frank is also unable to be perceived by Golden Freddy.

In your recent space ai au where Eclipse is using heat to help Y/N's back relax, are the bandages that Sun saw around their neck from the same incident as the earlier one where Moon had to help them out when they almost died, or was it some other sort of general recklessness? Or was I just mistaking those bandages for a bandana?

You were right, those ARE bandages!

But those aren’t from the scene where they came really close to dying- that actually comes later! But they also aren’t from general recklessness, either. :)

I’ve dropped a few tidbits here and there as I started fleshing out the idea of the plot point those bandages are now! There’s been some inconsistency in the doodles I’ve shared, but to vaguely sum it up,

This is the doodle I first did when I was thinking about a falling out between Sun, Moon and Pilot Reader! A little before and after, I guess. (It’s hard to tell, but they DO have the bandages in the ‘after’ part. In the before, it’s just the bandanna)

At the same time I was wondering if I should give Moon something like the Afton-influence-virus-thing that security breach had going on, and my gf suggested that maybe Moon was normally quite stable but during moments of high stress it could put pressure on him that triggered a ‘bug’

And, well, this Reader has a bit of a temper (always has),

And has a bad habit of,, basically making arguments worse, kind of purposefully provoking the other person into losing their cool- at least that way, they can act like THEYRE the one who’s more composed

And normally, the bots all have very precise control of regulating their body’s temperature! They can even make their hands cool to soothe someone when they’re hot, or make their hands warm to- in Eclipse’s case- soothe tense, sore muscles

(Side note: Reader still has bandages at this point! The majority of the injury has healed, but Sun is the resident nurse and Reader is just too tired of bickering to put up much of a fight about it. They won’t let him change the bandages, though- they always do it themselves.)

But when the bug is triggered, Sun’s AI goes out completely, and all ship functions are channeled to Moon. That, on top of the already rocky state of his reasoning skills at the time, is kind of a lot for one bot to handle! So, like most computers when overloaded with too many processes at once, he’s really quick to overheat!

Luckily, there’s a failsafe in the ships system that will power down Sun and Moon in such a situation, so in only takes a few minutes before Moon crashes and goes unconscious until the ship is prompted to get him up again. By that time, the ‘bug’ moment has normally passed, so yknow! All’s well that ends well!

(This particular scene happens later in the timeline, and is actually the first step Moon takes in repairing the relationship he and Sun had with Reader. <3)

But yeah that pretty much sums it up I think! Basically, Reader, Sun and Moon are all pals > The Reveal Happens > Reader has bandages and everyone is walking on eggshells with one another > Reader finds Eclipse and bonds with him, making Sun and Moon jealous slightly annoyed > Reader puts themselves at serious risk of death > Moon comes to his gotdam senses > ?????? > profit

Okay, so... I don't know if you're aware of gentrychild's "Dabi is a racoon" au... but that recent ask about Shouto forming new theories about Izuku being related to a seagull and Endeavor buying up a bunch of birds made my mind instantly jump to the idea that now Shouto thinks that everyone with a fire quirk has racoon genes while everyone with strength quirks has seagull genes, and all the cages mean that Endeavor is trying to kidnap Izuku's extended family.

Okay, but now I'm imagining that Gristol's mom is perfectly fine and has no idea about his infiltration plan--she was really happy that he got a job and is well-respected, and the only reason Gristol chose now to strike is that she went off on a little summer vacation or business trip for her own job and wouldn't be around to scold him/talk him out of it.

In the line of people queued outside the Psychoisolation Chamber to kick Gristol's ass there is also his mom who is there to pull his ear and scold him like he just broke the fine glassware

TBH, even if Black did get thrown out of the ship, he'd probably just treat the whole ghost thing as an exciting new scientific endeavor. It probably wouldn't phase him one bit, especially since he would now be able to reach tall things all on his own and could probably still use pencils and notepads (considering that ghosts can still manipulate objects in order to do tasks). He could also ignore social boundaries and things like "privacy" and "personal space" to even greater extents than usual.

You know, this is totally fair XD

Black would LOVE IT as a ghost!! So much science to be done and no one can stop you!!!

9. That's actually from my little icon! It's a catflower--one word, basically a flower that has a cat for a head. And that itself came from my typical signature.

See, my dad used to draw a little cartoon ghost by his name whenever he signed things like birthday or thank-you cards, and when I was in... either middle school or high school, or I guess, I decided that I wanted my own little cartoon, too. And, well, I really like cats (which is probably obvious given my tumblr). So, I made up the catflower. And since I am its creator... that makes me the queen of catflowers, no? Thus, "catflowerqueen" (Which I wanted to be catflower_queen, except tumblr doesn't allow underscores and I didn't think of hyphenating it until later. And at this point it is too much effort to change it)

Kind of a combination of both those events, just happening very quickly! They quickly got a sense of what was going on without too much explanation needed.

Oh, more train car ideas? How about a train where you enter it, and are greeted with caution tape and a sign saying "Sorry, this car is out of order. Please exit to the right, and have a pleasant day!" And then you just exit through the open door to the right of the sign. But you are left perpetually wondering if the car was really out of order, or if it was intentionally designed that way...
