Thoughts on the reveal of Krypto for Superman 2025?

I am indifferent to this dog or the particulars of its breed. I don't understand everyone being mad at this when Krypto never had a consistent look to him. If this film wants to take a different approach to how the alien dog looks to stand out from previous versions of him, that's fine.

I'm more upset that this is getting more attention than the colorism in John Stewart's casting. James Gunn bothers putting up a cheeky insta story with a panel of Krypto looking more terrier-like as a defensive subtweet to criticism (that isn't even a panel of Krypto the superdog. It's a dog who happens to be named Krypto from the post crisis shenanigans,,,you filthy casual) but doesn't address the numerous criticisms over John Stewart's casting? It's giving "white person cares more about dogs than Black people" smug energy that I find insufferable >_>

i have an idea for a character design but what animals are usually associated with medicine??? the most common answer i got was snake, but i also thought of lab rats/mice, rabbits etc

I don't know who needs to hear this but, being ok with portraying a character as a brutal murderer because they're killing a 'bad' guy but attacking someone for portraying SA (that was implied in canon) in any way or form is just. No. Wrong.

I made Henry a new outfit! He’s happy to be in the museum again to enjoy the art some more (and possibly steal some of it too).

I also made him a pirate king. There is a pirate crown but it kinda looks like a kids’ meal toy so I used the fancy one.

(Also apologies if I sent multiples of this ask—my internet started acting up)

Ha-ha-ha, oh my god, Scooter, you are the best. You didn't have to do that for me, but I appreciate it nonetheless.

And that pirate outfit? Hilarious and accurate. Honestly, I think Henry may still have something like that, which he wore for a Halloween event pre-Colorstreak Battalion.

The original oufit was more something Kyle would wear, to be honest. But I doubt you could get an outfit to shine navy blue.

Speaking of which, Kyle told us to inform you that he just got his spine fixed up with some new artificial lumbar bones made by Dr. V, and he's gotten the punctures in his stomach sewn back together. However, while his stomach is fixed up and he can eat without the need for a tube again, he's still not in any condition to fight, as he's gonna have to try and relearn how to walk again. Turns out his body isn't taking the new lumbar bones well.

(The door suddenly opens, and I appear in the doorway, now in a motorized wheelchair.)

But that doesn't mean I'm not able to see you guys again!
