Help Wanted 2: Lets Talk About Sun (Spoilers for Help Wanted 2!)

Okay,

I've had some time to digest Help Wanted 2. What a freaking roller coaster. I'm assuming you all have played/watched/seen Help Wanted 2, so be advised if you haven't seen everything we have access to so far, I'll be bringing it up.

One thing I'll say upfront is its nice to know Sun and Moon ARE older like I theorized. They're tied to the Fall Festival which took place in 1970 per one of the prize collector posters and the fact they deal with the carousel. I think Steel Wool also tried to point out and confirm Moon is patient zero for....I guess I should say Vanny's influence in the PizzaPlex. He's definitely the favorite to be pitted against us. I'm STILL losing my mind over the Princess Quest Ending.

So, the DCA fandom has been all across the board, ranging from "I love sassy Sun" to "Sun is SO mean. This ruins my headcannon." I don't think it really does. At least, it doesn't have to.

Our first encounter with Sun in front of us is Arts and Crafts. This minigame is located in the world we eventually learn is AR. We also are clearly a new FazBear hire. Sun is definitely sassy, and let's face it, VERY critical of what he defines as a mistake. BUT the flip side of that coin is he is still nice when you do the art correctly. He calls you friend, he wants to help you. If the player eats the crafts, he loses his mind. It's because he's worrying for the player due to the effects eating the crafts will have on them, ie: "That is how you get ulcers!". (By far, MY FAVORITE line of Sun's btw. Kellen stated that line and the indigestion line were both improved btw- genius.) He still doesn't want Moon to get you, he doesn't want to get in trouble. The one threat is after you've been hitting him several times and you've outright pissed him off. (I personally, think the "I should turn off the lights myself" was a drama king being a drama king.) Then we take the mask off. We see everything destroyed and Sun acts like the Sun we've always known. "I'm perfectly fine where I am. It's better this way. It's safer this way." "Keep the generator on. Without it I won't be able to help you." He's the same as he's always been. We've just seen a new layer.

What we ultimately have to come to terms with, is that Sun is a control freak and a perfectionist. He thinks he "has" to be. He doesn't want you to move from your craft table so he can watch you like a hawk. Do the job you are assigned. Get in, get out. Do the art HIS way, and follow HIS rules. If you don't, bad things can happen. Bad things HAVE happened. Another explanation could also be that maybe he isn't as free of the glitch trap virus as we thought? He can be sassy, he can be brutally honest, he can be concerned for us, for children, and his own darkness can rear its head, all at the same time.

Steel Wool could also be trying to slam into our faces that Sun is incomplete. He is one-half of a whole. He has good intentions, he means well at his core, but he cannot stop, regroup, and act rather than react. He gets stressed, and can't cope and adjust. Instead, he demands control back when he feels like he's about to lose it. Moon is calm, calculating, and logical. It's why they need to be whole and why Sun is so grateful to Cassie when she fixes them to become Eclipse. As Eclipse, they both find the parts of themselves they've so desperately needed.

y'know what i find interesting about sun now that hw2 is out?

i've seen various interpretations of him since the game's release with all the new dialogue and scenes we got ranging from "stressed and in bad need of a cigarette and a three year vacation" to "petty bitch" to "caring but pushed to his limit" and like

the thing is, they're all right

he probably played favorites with some of the kids--cassie's testament combined with his general mannerisms certainly make me think so. sun is a little mean to the player character. he insults you, he talks down to you, he treats you like you don't have two brain cells to rub together when you screw up. in the carousel level, he's clearly begrudging that he can't simply do the job himself. he is petty and he is stressed and he is frustrated

you'd think, then, that sun would happily let moon do what he will with the human employees he clearly detests, with the kids that obviously frustrate him. you'd think he'd make good on his threats to turn off the lights himself, to let these people get what they deserve. how many times have we dreamed of petty revenge on the shitty customers and coworkers we've had to deal with in our jobs?

he doesn't. instead, he resigns himself to a life of isolation to keep moon in check, doing whatever he can to keep anyone else from getting hurt or dying. despite all his hot air, sun cares. deeply, selflessly. when we see him during the ruin segments of hw2, he's shaking in fear, hiding in scant light he has access to in his and moon's horrible room, out of easy reach from most, trying in the only way he can to keep more tragedy from occurring. he knows how bad his situation is; he's acutely aware of it in a way most of the other animatronics don't seem to be. his actions speak far louder than his words, and god knows he has plenty to say

Feel it's important to point out that the pizzaplex animatronics are probably "sassy" or sarcastic in help wanted 2 because they are programmed to work with children, not adults. If under other circumstances the other robots would have probably been just as nice to Gregory as Freddy and Sun, and to Cassie as Roxy was. I don't think we've seen them interact with an adult under normal circumstances. In fact Freddy straight up lies to Vanessa all the time, prioritizing the child's wants (or a need, really) over reporting to staff.

Sun is probably very enthusiastic about kids art! But you are an adult undergoing training, not for the love of art. Same thing with the carousel. This may also be because of their fear of turning into moon if you aren't timely.

And Freddy wasn't even that sarcastic, in fact he was very pleasant, aside from when you pick up the "happy birthday timmy" cake, in which he actually seems upset because he doesn't want to fuck up a kids party!! That is not Timmy that is Jimmy!!! Jimmy would notice!!!!

It's so fascinating the circus themed mini games in Helpwanted2.

It's fascinating that the FNAF4 house burns outside of the carousel mini game.

It's fascinating how Moon is the most reoccurring animatronic in this game as a whole, even playing a pivotal role in one of the endings.

It's also double fascinating that Sun seems to understand Fazbear Entertainment has scummy practices, like making children's art their international property if created on their property. He knows he's neglected, knows no one will fix him. (And only desperately approached Cassie in ruin cus she had the tools. )

Sun knows that Fazbear let's things fall by the wayside if they're not bringing money, like the carousel itself.

All of this new info has me thinking....

Maybe the Daycare Attendant wasn't even a theatre bot for Fazbear Entertainment in the first place.

I wonder if he was an animatronic designed for a Carnival or the Circus, and Fazbear Entertainment bought him out for their theatre.

Things like that are not unheard of in this universe. Especially when the books are concerned.

So it could be a possibility.

Consider that the balloon boy world minigame found in Sun and Moon's room, you play as a Balloon boy, who runs away from the circus to go on a journey past the mountains.

...I don't know. It's a thought.

I feel it gives Sun's passive agressiveness and self awareness of Fazbear's shitty practices a bit more sense. Cause he was never made for them to begin with.

I think ‘carnival’ aesthetic coming in with antihero cassie could be cool!! I don’t want her glitchtrapped per se, I just kinda want her to be messed up -> have a redemption arc later yk.

Also i want vanny/nessa to be the same person. I don’t want weird ai vanny that’s. I’m not a fan. Let hw2 be ness reclaiming vanny and squashing glitchtrap ok….ok.

Summary: Coming home is supposed to be a happy occasion, but it's hard to be happy with your ex-boyfriend lurking around the corner.

Going back home is the last thing Y/N wants to do right now. The Outer Banks is full of memories from a heartbreak she does not want to remember. However, she is no match for the force known as Cassie and Marvin, and that is how she finds herself on a plane back to North Carolina. For the past five years, Y/N has done everything in her power to not step foot on the island again and now, it is all for nothing. “Please fasten your seat belts, we are preparing for landing,” the pilot’s voice stirs Y/N from her slumber. She can’t believe this is actually happening right now. The elderly lady beside her smiles at her, “First time going to North Carolina?” “Uh, no. I actually grew up there, in the Outer Banks, but I haven’t been back since I left. It feels a little weird,” she answers honestly. 

“Ahh, so you were running from something.” 

“Yeah, I was. But it looks like I can’t anymore. I just hope that something isn’t there anymore.”

The plane lands and Y/N gets her bags from the carousel. She waits for Mason in the pick-up area, running towards him when she spots his car. Mason crushes Y/N in a hug, “It’s so good to see you back on American soil. This is long overdue.” Y/N pats his back while returning the hug. “Yeah, yeah. It’s good to be home. Did Lace get Sparky here okay?” Mason picks her suitcase up and packs it into his trunk, “Yep, he’s probably being a little energy ball in our living room as we speak.” They both laugh at the joke and then hop into the car. “So how’s your internship at the architectural firm? Is it different from the one in Toronto?” she asks her brother, bringing her hand to the locket around her neck. Heading back to the Outer Bank is causing her to be anxious and playing with the locket calms her down. It doesn’t go unnoticed by Mason that she still wears the necklace and is playing with it. 

“It’s going well. Most buildings that people look into getting built here are a different style than in Toronto. OBX wants beach boxes, while Toronto has a wide range of styles. It’s really fascinating watching how my boss’ designs still match to look different from one another.”

“That’s cool. I like the name beach box. It sounds fun. Like a giant sandbox. And are you enjoying it?”

“Yeah, I really am. Although, I do want to see if I can get an internship in an Asian country afterwards. They have a different style that’s interesting. How is the bookstore coming along?”

“A little stressful right now to be honest. Juggling my book edits and what I need to change or add so that the building is up to code and now being here. It’s all just a little too much. At least, I have a name Bookkeeper. It’s gonna confuse people who actually know what that career is but I think it’s funny.”

“It is a good name. It’s very punny.”

“Ugh, that was so bad.”

One of the worst places to be is her childhood bedroom. The countless days they spent cuddling on the bed haunts her. The love they expressed physically all over the room is practically engrained in her brain. She had never been able to feel that way again. She unpacks her clothes into her closet and goes to check on Sparky downstairs. He was left down there because she didn’t want him sitting on her suitcase like he did when she was packing her bags in London. He has gotten bigger and he has a little bit of an attachment issue. He doesn’t like being very far from his Mommy for very long. Y/N’s heart drops to the pit of her stomach when she sees the open front door and bolts out of it in hopes of catching her dog before he gets too far. 

She follows his barks like a trail of breadcrumbs to the sidewalk. If her heart wasn’t already giving her problems, it certainly is now. The sight before her is one she never thought she would see again. Rafe Cameron is kneeling down and petting Sparky. Beside him is a beautiful woman in a sundress. Her long black hair cascades down her shoulders and her brown almond-shaped eyes show such warmth behind them. Her makeup is done to absolute perfection. Y/N slowly approaches the trio without hesitation. She doesn’t want to go near Rafe, but seeing as it doesn’t look like Sparky is nowhere near going home, she had to go get him.

 “Hey Sparky, long time no see. It’s good to see you again, Bubba. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there for ya. You’ve gotten so big,” she hears him greet. As she approaches, she accidentally steps on a stick and the crack alerts the others to her presence. “Hey,” she awkwardly begins. “I’m just here for my dog.” Rafe nods and stands up, moving to wrap his hand around the woman’s waist. “Uh, yeah. I remember a time when he used to be my dog too.” Sensing the tension, his companion introduces herself, “Hi, I’m Blythe Katsumi. I’m Rafe’s fiancée.” Blythe sticks her hand out for Y/N to shake, which she does. “I’m Y/N Y/L/N. Rafe’s- uh…this is Sparky.”

“It’s okay. I know you were his high school girlfriend. He told me about you.”

“Right. And he didn’t tell me about you.”

Rafe rolls his eyes and huffs, “Yeah, well it’s not like we were doing a lot of talking in the last five years. What are you doing here, Y/L/N?” 

“You mean besides looking for my dog, in front of my house? The better question is what are you doing here Rafe?”

“I have every right to be here because unlike you, I’ve been coming back home.”

Before Y/N can retort, Blythe stops the conversation from going any further. “Well, it was lovely meeting you, but we need to go. We have to get some stuff ready for the engagement party.” Blythe waves goodbye and takes Rafe’s hand to walk away. This draws Y/N attention to Blythe's left hand with the giant diamond engagement ring. This causes a stabbing feeling to shoot through Y/N’s heart. Her hand shoots up to her locket and she begins to rub it for some comfort. This action doesn’t go unnoticed by Rafe as he catches it from the corner of his eye.

Everyone has their own vices. Cheating. Gambling. Alcohol. Lying. Rafe’s is drugs. There was a period of time in his life when weed was not the outlet he turned to when in need of getting out of his own head. That one blissful year he had with her was his escape instead. But after the breakup, weed was the only thing that made him forget about her. Eventually, he became numb to the weed and he needed something stronger, so Barry introduced him to cocaine. Mason didn’t know that Rafe had stepped it up in the drug department because if Mason knew, he would’ve found some way to get Rafe to stop. And Rafe didn’t want to, he needed to escape the feeling of being consumed by her. 

Before today, Rafe had managed to go a month without thinking about her at all. It was his highest record in the past five years they had been apart. There was no bookstore he walked by with a girl quite similar to her standing at the window. No hard kombucha in Mason’s fridge to indicate that she had been there. No caramel ice cream at the parlour that she would beg him to buy. It was like the universe was giving him a break from being haunted by Y/N. It seems the universe is done with giving him that gift because as he drives to Barry’s house, he is drowning in thoughts of her. He loved seeing Sparky, of course, but why did she have to come back? He couldn’t get the smell of her hibiscus body wash out of his mind. The sweet but gentle tropical scent she wore contradicted the foggy and rainy place she had moved to. Her hair is held back in a claw clip he used to play with whenever she would leave them around. 

And the thing that had really caused him to spiral is her hand still holding the locket he had given her for their first Christmas as a couple. Has she been wearing it for the past five years? Had she worn it while she let other men make her feel good, but nowhere near as good as he can make her feel? Would she wear it when she told them she loved them? But most importantly, how dare she come back to what is now only his island and wear it as if she cared for him? She hasn’t been back in years or talked to him; she doesn’t get to pretend like she’s thought about him. It is driving him crazy and he needed something to stop him from going too deep down this rabbit hole. 

Barry hears Rafe’s motorbike and is waiting outside for him. “Well, well, well, look who came back from the dead. Thought you went sober on me for a second there, country club. What can I get you for you?”

“However much you got. I got a feeling that I’m gonna be needing it more often.”

He knew he would need whatever he got his hands on to help him forget about her because if he didn’t then he would remember. And it would probably kill him to remember just how his heart almost leapt out of his chest when he saw Y/N Y/L/N right before his eyes.

When they broke up, Mason told both of them that he would not be used as a source to find out more about the other. He said it was for his own sanity in not wanting to be caught in the middle of his sister and best friend, but it was also in hopes that it would cause discourse between the two that would lead to their reunification. So it made sense that Mason would keep an engagement from her. But she still needed more information that she would give Mason no other choice but to give her. “How long have they been together, Mace?” Mason closes his eyes in a silent prayer that he isn’t about to have this painful conversation with his sister. He lifts his head from his laptop and turns towards her, “A year and a month. They’ve known each other for a year and a half.” 

“How long have they been engaged?”

“Four months.”

“Did you help him propose?”

“He didn’t ask.”

“How come you didn’t tell me?”

At this, Mason can hear the sadness in his sister’s voice. He knew no matter how much she says she is over Rafe, it isn’t true. It’s why she still wears his locket after all. He knew she needed to know though. 

“You know I don’t want to get in between you two. Also, I just didn’t know how to tell you. I didn’t want to tell you something that would hurt you so much. I love you and I want to protect you from that pain.” 

“Yeah, I get that. It just would’ve hurt less if it came from you,” she whispers, not knowing what else to ask or add to the conversation. She turns around and goes to her room, where she finds Sparky waiting for her. He gives her a pouty look, asking how come he couldn’t go with his Daddy. She sits down on her bed beside him and places his head on her lap, “I’m sorry, Bubba. But I did what I had to do. Breaking up with him was necessary. I mean I set him free and look at him now, he is getting married.” It hurt. It hurt that he was okay with marrying Blythe before he turned twenty-five. He wanted to speed up his life plan two years earlier just for Blythe. How come he was willing to do that for Blythe but not for Y/N? Was Blythe really that much better than her?

Doing what any other girl would do, Y/N resolves to some internet sleuthing. It wasn’t that hard to find Blythe’s Instagram. She has a public account and Mason is following her. She has an impressive 500K followers; probably because she is the heiress to a popular Japanese hotel chain. All her posts have her makeup done to perfection and her clothes are all designer. One of her saved reels is of her and Rafe partying on New Year's Eve. At least Blythe can keep up with Rafe on that level. Y/N moves her search to Google and finds Blythe’s Wikipedia page. She was born in New York and raised there. She attended UNC for fashion. From multiple tabloid pictures, she can tell that the party scene is one Blythe frequent but she is also a sweet girl. In one picture, she is giving her jacket to a homeless person along with some money when she is returning home from a party. She helps out at soup kitchens and takes children out on shopping sprees. Y/N supposes that Blythe could just be doing it for the media attention, but the look in Blythe’s eyes tells her it isn’t true. 

After finding out possibly everything she could find out about Blythe, Y/N turns all of her electronic devices off to stop her from spiralling on social media anymore. She heads over to her bookshelf in need of a bookish escape. Her eyes glance over the different titles until her eyes find one particular book she had not thought about it in a while. She pulls the book off the shelf and opens it up to the title page with the inscription on it. The copy of The Lightning Thief that Rafe had annotated sits before her. She had left it here when she went to university because it felt too hard to bring with her. It held too much meaning. As she sits down on her window sill, she begins to read the book with a special focus on the inscriptions. She reads for hours, allowing herself to feel every bit of emotion that passes through her. God, it hurts to be back home.

I find it funny how the fandom (or, at least, a part of the fandom I see a lot) has latched onto the "Moon is obsessed with rules" headcanon. True, he's the one that comes after Gregory for "punishment time", but...

Sun is the one calling the player a rulebreaker and kicking a literal kid straight into the less-than-friendly Glamrocks' waiting arms (for accidentally turning the lights off. As if Gregory would know touching a Freddy shaped security box would do that. If it even was Gregory and, idk, ""someone"" disabling the power in the daycare on purpose). Sun is the one nearly popping his circuits if you don't follow his instructions. Sun is the one threatening to release Moon on you if you so much as colour a page wrong. Sun is the one getting frustrated with Cassie if she screws up somehow (haven't played Ruin in a while, but I do think he freaks out if you approach him in the VR world after only disabling one - or zero - generators).

Moon on the other hand? Moon is fizzyfazzing vibing (well, not in Ruin for obvious reasons). Fulfilling his task and getting the kid? Sure sure, let him just jump from leg to leg first, and walk in a goofy way at an extremely slow pace (even Monty with no legs balancing himself on crutches would probably move faster), while giggling and alerting the entirety of the daycare to his precise jingly location. He only starts taking it seriously and entering the structures when you get some generators on, and even then he's still messing around. The robot cares more about his jester theatrics than his goddamn job. If Moon really does security patrols like many people believe he does, half of them are (or were, prior to the virus) probably him tormenting a poor overworked security guard (rip Vanessa, if you're out there...).

Don't take me wrong. I love a Moon who follows the rules to a malicious degree as much as the next person. And he does seem set on putting Gregory down to sleep and punishing him. He does seem intent on harming you in HW2. But let's be real, Moon doesn't give a shit about his job half the time - doing a goofy walk, riding a carousel... those are much better. If he gets to scare someone while doing it, jackpot for him. We only really see him struggle in Ruin, as far as I recall. Sun is the one running around like a bossy headless chicken trying to get everything in order.

I think it's because Moon is the one who directly says "you must be punished" and harms you? But even then my man jumps on the table, does a goofy move, and flies off to give Gregory some time to hide for their little hide and seek game. Sun is the one getting freaked out and throwing you out without any preamble after the lights turn on.

Again, not shitting on anyone. I just think it's so funny. I legitimately cannot imagine Moon being that serious unless 1) a real intruder is at the pizzaplex, not some snotty kid; 2) Vanny tells him to; 3) something actually dangerous is happening and he's not high on whatever virus is going around.

Okay. I hate this theory but I am also a believer in it..so...Help Wanted 2 spoilers ahead. I keep seeing ppl going 'We play as Cassie!!' 'No its her dad!' "NO, its VANNESSA' No. It's Michael Fucking Afton and I hate it. Stay with me here So, my evidence for this is circumstantial in some places and DECENTLY understandable in another. Okay. SO. The person we're playing as has ties to Sister Location. Thats one tick for Mikey. They also know Baby personally, based on her line in Fazerblast of 'You should have known I would find you'. No one other than Mike or Henry or William would have a connection to her like that. Mike makes the most sense of those.

Its been theorized that the FNAF 2 restaurant burned down/was burned down by Mike bc of his hallucinations in FNAF 3 of a burned BB. The carousel in HW2 is from FNAF 2 based on the characters on the ride. We have all the toys, including toy foxy, we know theres a carousel in FNAF 2, bc you can see it in the game. Mind you its a smaller version of it, but this could be a recreation of it that exists or used to exist. Now, tying this into Mike more. Its on fire. We already think that Mike burned down the FNAF 2 building, and this character is potentially hallucinating the building around this carousel burning down, so he had to have seen that happening. This person we play as has ties to FNAF 6 as well, which we KNOW only Mike is related to in that aspect. Now as to WHY Mike is who we're playing, I have no fucking idea. Theres too much pointing towards it even down to when he had to crawl through Ballora gallery in SL. I want this man to get the rest he deserves, but it looks as if he's still kicking somehow. So, despite how I wanted us to have been Cassie's dad, looking for his missing daughter in the bowls of the Pizza Plex...I think we're playing as Michael Afton.

oh my god... cassie....

first off i 100% think she puts up a strong front to seem well grounded around others. maybe she acts tough and resilient against challenges that come her way but holy shit shes scared. especially when it comes to people she views in a comforting / important light. gregory, her dad, roxy. all people she puts trust in but each one of them has made her even more afraid to trust again (less so roxy but you get the idea). trust issues!!!!!!

secondly and on top of that last idea i think she has a lot of blind faith in people and hope they will fufill their promises / are telling the truth. with her dad, she trusts hes just looking out for her when he goes away. that hes doing it because he has a good reason, a reason he deems more important than her. then with gregory, the second he (mimic) says hes in trouble, she takes the voice at face value and rushes in head first. no questions asks. and when she starts to doubt (ie, her wantng to call the police or get help) the second shes dismissed she never brings it up again. bc if gregory says that wont help, then it wont. that blind faith gets her into trouble and only leaves her wishing she had more faith in her intuition yk?

Ok I haven’t made a theory post in a LONG time but this seriously needs to be made because a lot of people are getting upset about the info the daycare attendant and genuinely thinking he hates his job and hates kids ect. This theory also builds off of really solid theories mattpat has brought forth about who the player character is.

Ok so mattpat has theorized the player character is Cassie’s dad, and there’s a lot of evidence to support it. Watch his videos playing Help Wanted 2 to see why. Also, plenty of animatronics acknowledge the character as seemingly knowing and identifying the character as this as well, along with characters with dubious sentience like the new Carnie animatronic. This means that sun is interacting with the player character (an adult) and knows it. we literally have evidence from Ruin (Cassie’s first hand experience) that the daycare attendant is a fantastic caretaker. As well as the Daycare Attendant interacting with an actual child, Gregory in Security Breach. Sun clearly loves kids! So why did he treat the player character so poorly?

First of all, the game is marketed as showing you different jobs that fazbear employees do. There are three exceptions, arts and crafts with Sun, DJ Music Man’s Party Pass, Carnie game, and the log ride, but the rest are very clearly jobs the employees have to do, which make these stand out.

I think all 4 of these are jobs as well.

I think the last three are all the same kind of job, actually. I think they are playtesting! Two of those jobs have distinct problems with them, and we KNOW for certain the Log Ride is shut down, and we actually get the see the ride go off on “unapproved routes” as Foxy puts it. The DJ game features a Party Pass we did not know was offered, with the overhead stating that the the DJ’s reaction to disappointment still being workshopped. I think the DJ Party Pass and Log Ride games are being playtested to get them ready for public use again.

The Carnie game features an animatronic we’ve NEVER seen before, in an outside area. The pizzaplex is an inside area, and Fazbear inc is more than happy to repurpose animatronics at any moment with plenty to choose from, so what gives?

We know from the last Help Wanted that the pizzaplex hosts a fall event every year that is outside, and last year we didn’t see this animatronic there. Meaning this is a BRAND NEW animatronic for a BRAND NEW carnival game. Also, Fall Fest won’t start til the DLC comes out for Help Wanted 2. Meaning that it would be completely normal for them to be playtesting this future carnival game and it’s animatronic to get it ready for Fallfest!

And that leaves Sun’s Arts and Crafts. We know how he speaks with employees due to him “giving instructions” on how to fix the carousel, he does NOT seem to like them. He shreds and shits on your art when you give it to him, when he has kid’s art hung up in his room, and kids do NOT draw well or or are they famous for following instructions. When you do arts and crafts with Sun, it is also SUSPICIOUSLY dark, too dark for it to be open hours for the daycare, AND he says the lights will go off soon. Moon doesn’t do his security rounds until after hours, and moon doesn’t come out in the daycare hours anymore. So what gives?

I think that doing Arts and Crafts with Sun once the pizzaplex closes is literally just another job. We know from how he behaved when he saw Gregory that he goes a little whacko without someone to watch (he literally hovered over Gregory and basically begged him to play a game with him.) Without someone to occupy his mind with and do something with he probably starts eating the wallpaper. I mean he is SUCH a high energy animatronic. I don’t think it’s much of a jump to say they have to hire someone after hours to keep him from going insane.

With his aforementioned distaste of Fazbear employees and needing someone to occupy his attention, his behavior starts to make perfect sense.

“But he calls the player character a kid!” He’s a daycare attendant, I bet he calls everyone a kid. It might have been derogatory too, he only does that when he is mad at you. Weird place to call out someone for being a child if you mean it in a nice way.

“But he puts the player character in time out!” I want you to look me in the eyes and tell me with a straight face that Sun wouldn’t try to put an adult in time out. He would. He definitely would. We all know this.

In conclusion—- there might not be a Daycare Attendant Handler in the day, but there DEFINITELY is one at night, and may god help that person

Also have you noticed that he's a less excitable around you, I do think you're playing as a faz tech guy. Especially after Freddy's pns trip and the carousel ride, possibly Cassie's dad. And the line "what makes you so special" Moon says correlates with Sun's line since according to him, it would've already been done by now if he was actually programmed to fix it. so what makes you so special that you get to fix it and not them? Just because you're the only employee left? Just because you're human?

Also I love it how moon just inserts himself in n any ride you go one or activitie you do, like the bowling m stuff idk if it's for malicious intent but it's cool seeing him hanging around, I do wish he had more voice lines than just laughing at you 😭

But also i think this rules out us being Vanessa, since IN RUIN Gregory says a friend helped him, and she's also escaped from Glitchtrap's influence. This game absolutely is a prequel to Ruin, since we show up as the bot during the game. It also excludes Mike i think too... if Mike is Glam Freddy, or still alive,

MISC THOUGHTS:
