So, I've made some posts where I make AUs that kick V.F.D's cult levels up to 11, but woe is you I thought about something for too long again.

The Mythological Creatures AU

V.F.D is a secret organization where nonhumans hide in plain sight using magic and other methods to pass themselves off as humans.

The Eye Tattoo is now a magical seal used to help them hide their true forms. This can either be achieved through an actual mark on the skin or through a pendant/trinket worn somewhere on the body. Humans are aware of the existence of nonhumans, but typically fear them.

Olaf: Changeling/Shapeshifter (His disguises are still see-through because something always looks viscerally wrong about him. Very Uncanny Valley)

The Snicket Siblings: Algea (Often mistaken for angels due to their vulture wings, these are creatures that are the physical personification of sorrow.)

Beatrice: Angel (Fallen, taking a bit of inspiration from Dante’s Inferno. Feels thematically appropriate)

Bertrand: Sirin (Often mistaken for angels due to their owl wings, these are creatures that are the physical personification of joy)

Monty: Naga (Because of course I’m gonna make snake uncle a snake!)

Josephine: Banshee (Think of the fact that her anxiety is heightened because she can’t tell if her screams are because she’s scared or because someone’s going to die, and it could be her this time. Like the scream that happened the day Ike died)

Georgina Orwell: Samodiva (A type of fairy known for hypnotizing men and driving them insane)

Sir: Smoke/Smog Monster (Born from the lumbermill’s smoke production. His cigars help him keep a physical form)

Charles: Warlock (Human born with magical ability and connection. Magically bound to Sir)

(The Lumbermill Workers are all humans, which makes them easier to control and manipulate)

Esme: Pixie (Passes herself off as a regular fairy to hide her true nature)

Jerome: Satyr (No specific reason, but Satyr’s are known for being docile and made a fool of in theatrical productions if you want to stretch)

Hector: Human (Not everyone can be nonhuman. I like to think nonhumans are actually not allowed in the Village of Foul Devotees unless they are a type of bird creature. So, if he were a nonhuman, Hector would be a Harpy. Alternatively, he is a Harpy, but he’s hiding his true form like V.F.D associates do to avoid persecution)

Olivia Caliban (Miranda Caliban by Extension): Oracle (Human born with magical abilities and the gift of prophecy. Ishmael often dismisses Miranda’s prophecies. Kind of a Cassandra situation)

Captain Widdershins: Tannin (Sea Serpent, think a Water Naga. Some sources refer to this creature as “The Whale” because they are sometimes presented with the head of a boar and the body of the whale. It’s a Moby Dick reference!)

The Denouement Triplets: Shadow Creatures (They morph and move through shadows, sometimes even blending together. This makes it even harder to tell Ernest and Frank apart, and nearly impossible to find Dewey. They can morph into shadows to prevent harm to their physical form… If they’re fast enough.)

Ishmael: Poltergeist (A malevolent spirit haunting the island and its residents. Keeps his physical form by stealing the life force and free will of those who allow him to. His powers do not work on the unwilling.)

 “in my home nation there is an old story. a story about how the first Sentinel died. when the stones had just been born a great Naga ruled over Nashara. he could drive a person to insanity, when you hear a meton in your mind it can feel invasive, but you can block it out. Malichi however could take it over. as time when on he became a tyrant. About a hundred years ago his right hand, a meton, angered him. but before he was tortured he established a link with a lieutenant who’s name has been erased, but his right hand had a secret. That he was like me. The Sentinel never imagined someone doing it back to him, and when Malichi poured torment into him, the lieutenant made a feedback loop, linking there minds in a maelstrom of torment. it went beyond insanity, each time the thought went from one to another it was amplified. the meton died but gods don’t die so easily-

Bright –

the form shook, the heads all placed besides one another , nine mouths linking into one giant smile “you are very bright, slave of the endless. you may return.”

the world came into focus, and I was in the Mistwalkers hall once more. Alex looked dazed as well and stared at me. “Cyrus, I think I have some things to tell you.”

Grow –

“sometimes I wonder what my life would have been like had I not chosen this route. there was a time when I thought I might have a life that was calm. maybe find a wife, have some kids. hah, they would probably be your age now.” Leon took a cutting knife that looked far to small in his hands and sliced a thin piece to check the meat “but I guess that’s the part that they don’t tell you. your life exists right now and there is no going back. a word of advice, grow old. find a family, find something that makes you happy. a sword gets heavier the longer you carry it”

Forever –

I saw what was about to happen. if a single shot pierced Alex in this form she may be stuck like this forever. watchers healed slower than even kara. and if she couldn’t be the human anymore it would scar her.

“I’m… I’m here to see my mom. she said to leave because of the assassination. I’m from Versel, my mom. uh, Cassandra sent me to school there.”

the guard squinted his eyes, a few lowered their bows but the head and his circle had not.

“Cassandra doesn’t have a kid. that bitch couldn’t find a mate if she tried.”

I was taken aback. I was tired. I was angry. every emotion I suppressed flooded to my my head as the staff in my hand grew warm.

“Cassandra is a smarter woman than you. A fucking low-life guard, insulting her? Do I need to prove that were related?” I felt years of anger welling up at once. If I had a mother, I would want to protect them. and the piece of me that longed for a family was no longer a small flame, instead an inferno. Maybe that’s what I needed. “let me show you why she is hated. you already know, but a demonstration may help before you insult her again.” the staff now glowed a bright crimson , even if I couldn’t see it I knew the color of radiance in my eyes. I saw the sparks of the anomaly that surrounded me. but not fire, never fire. Even Alex backed away as the blue sparks danced around me. it was exhilarating to feel the radiance from the pillars in my body now-

hey i just read the cassandra clare masterpost and i'm just gonna add here.

the shadowhunter religion, as a whole is purely based on christian & jewish religion/mythology with cc saying that muslim or hindu or any other religious shadowhunters can't exist. yet she takes up various mythological beings from these myths (especially hinduism) like the naga demons, the asuras etc. and wrongly depicts them as 'evil' when in real hindu mythology it is so much more complex than that.

there is the existence of institutes in various parts of the world like mumbai which begs the question how were those institutes established? and whether the shadowhunters of those places came to be because of colonisation & were forced to convert to the shadowhunter religion. how they have to remove themselves from their own culture which is exactly what happened under the 200 years of british rule in india.

i'm sure other people of colour will have this problem too with their own religions & ethnicities but i can only speak of india as i'm only knowledgeable of my own heritage & cultures. but it irks me so much.

In general I kinda get depressed by how thoroughly christianity has become the global religion. Like saying the shadowhunter religion is based on christianity and Judaism is kinda wrong because even though much of christiandom pays lip service to the torah sometimes christiandom is very antisemitic.

but yeah of course CClare is culturally appropriating from hinduism and other religions. its frustrating because so many people continue to read her books and giving her money. at the very least her show is off the air.

Doubt

Doubt, the ninth Misery sibling.

Abilities: Immortality, doubting venom, enhanced strength and stamina.

Doubt is another Misery that does make an appearance in the Hercules tv series. In the episode, The Big Kiss, Hades hires him to prevent Icarus from kissing Cassandra so she could end up working for the god.

Power consist of a strong venom that when he bites someone, including siblings, they are stricken by a terrible sense of doubt that makes them extremely cowardly. Fortunately, the venom's effects only last a few hours.

The only Misery who is a naga instead of an imp. Oizys wanted to experiment a little with a different looking offspring when she decided to get pregnant with Doubt. Unfortunately, this lasted with a more miserable pregnancy, so Doubt is the only one who looks the way he does because Oizys didn't want to go through with that kind of pregnancy again.

Doesn’t find it bad that he looks different from his siblings. In fact, he thinks he's more fearsome as a naga instead of an imp.

Can't shapeshift or fly.

The young Knight Cassandra was sent here to deal with the great green serpent. He has been a great nuisance, sending his minions to “tax” the surrounding villages, and even cities, near the forest he made his territory, and she was the best they had to deal with it. In reality the taxes were a stipend, to keep the creatures under it’s employ to raze the towns. And if the town fought off his armies, he would come through and breathe his toxic spray down on the people, wiping it out as an example. This on top of the kingdom’s own, legitimate taxes, the villages were struggling to keep up.

The lady held her breath in front of the forest cave. The guards lifted their spears, slitted eyes following her, and snake lower halves twitching, ready to jump. Though Cassandra knew they wouldn’t. She had set up a conversation with the Beast, and the one good thing about Green dragons, according to the Duke’s bookkeeper, is they like rules, structure, and control. It’s why the towns weren’t just destroyed and all the valuables taken, and more to Her own benefit at the moment, why she’s walking in past the nagas without being skewered. If looks could pierce Plate though... She’d rather not think about that. One of the Nagas, a four armed one with just as many swords at her side, and heavily decorated armour, was leading her through the winding corridors. She turned her head to Cassandra, torchlight shading her fanged smile.

“Ssso then human. You ssset up a meeting with our massster. You have all you need? I sssee you brought him a sssnack.”

Cassandra looks down at the terrified sheep in her arms, fighting desperately to break free.

“Yes, I heard it’s respectful to bring food when meeting a dragon.”

“Hehe yesss.” Her smile widens, causing Cassandra to tense, “But more ssso they don’t eat you inssstead of talking to you.”

Her laugh was cruel and sharp. “Ah lighten up I’m jussst messsing with you. He’sss through thisss door.”

The door was awe inspiring, to say the least. It was massive, lined with gold enough to make nobility shy, and was intricately carved and painted with what seems to be a story praising a dragon. Though, the sight of the doors opened up to a dark room, sounds echoing through. As Cassandra stepped through, the sheep tried it’s best to escape through the quickly closing doors. However they slammed shut before either had a chance to escape. As they do, torches magically alight, revealing more and more ludicrous wealth, a mountain of gold, jewels, weapons, armour, art and fine silks. And on top of it, a massive beast, looking down upon the woman. In truth, Cassandra’s plan was to talk down the dragon. She knew she had no chance to slay the beast, let alone get away from the guards if she did. She cleared her throat and swallowed her fear, but waited for the dragon to speak.

“Well hello there little morsel. Ah, and a nice, fat sheep as well.”

“*Ahem* Gorthal, great serpent of the forest, I have brought you gifts of both meat and wealth.”

“Well I see the meat, but,” The serpent’s head lowers towards her, noxious smelling fumes emanating from it’s jaws. It’s head alone was larger than her. When he snapped the sheep out of her arms, she was left panicked, and covered in sheep’s blood. “Where is this wealth you promise?”

The question snapped her out of her momentary pause, and she fished out a spool of Fine silk from her bag, and placed it on a nearby table, clearly costing more than her life savings. Gorthal inspects the spool, looking over it with surprising grace, it smiles, seeming to be approved. It turns it’s gaze back over to Cassandra.

“Alright Morsel, you have bought yourself a conversation, and one request. May I ask, why have you, a young knight, come to what would be your inevitable death?”

“Well, great wyrm, I ask of you, on behalf of the people living on the borders of your forest, to...” Cassandra paused. The dragon’s glare was both quizzical and amused. She knows if her words aren’t chosen right, those would be her last.

“To?”

“... to lower Your taxes on them.”

Gorthal’s laugh caused Cassandra to wince. It was powerful and sent waves through her, and the echoes of his horde chambers did not help.

“You wish for me? Gorthal? Greatwyrm of the Forest? Mighty lord over your pathetic lives? To lessen my income? HA! A joke! A Jape! Ahhh please, explain to me morsel, Why should I grant you all that sort of respect?”

“Well... I... they deserve to live their lives? They’re hardworking individuals and trying to provide for their families and friends.”

“Oh darling. That’s not what dragons show respect for.”

“Then what...”

“Dragons, we respect Power. It is why I surround myself with followers and wealth, why I train and exercise my body and mind, and why I lead your nations greatest heroes into their deaths.”

“You wh... I mean... You never sent tax collectors to Walter’s Mill, the little village out on the bounds of your territory. It’s a small farming town, no guard presence to be had. Clearly you wouldn’t respect them.”

“I. Respect. Power. Little morsel. While most of those people are far below me, Walter, of the village’s namesake, does have my respect.”

“But why?”

Gorthal snorts, poisonous fumes fly from his snout. He turns around, digging something out of his horde, and pulling a book. Using two claws he opens it, and an illusionary story starts playing out.

“There are few humans who can stand to even a newly hatched dragon’s power. Even fewer still who can fell a powerful dragon. I wasn’t always the one who lived here. 60 years ago, not even a weeks length for me, another dragon lived here. Soralthal, my older brother. He was larger, stronger, and as our parents loved to drill into our heads, smarter and better looking than myself. He wasn’t, mind you, smarter than I. I always held the upper hand in all of his traps. I let myself fall into a few so our parents would praise me more and admonish him more when he fell into my traps and fell for my lies. I was the runt after all, he should have been better, Faster, stronger, less of a mindless fool.

Regardless, My brother, being a moron, was far more cruel than I have been lately. He took a lot from the people, keeping them in poverty, and draining their reserves fast. The kingdom gathered all the heroes they could, and while they mostly dodged his traps, they all fell to his claws and fangs. That was until Walter came to this very room. Over there, beneath my horde, he slew my brother. Faster, stronger, and far more cunning. Walter has the soul of a dragon, metaphorically of course. He took my brother’s life, and I only moved in recently, leaving his killer alone.”

“So you don’t want vengance?”

“Vengance? HAH! I owe the old man. I even have my brother’s head mounted over my horde.” Looking up Cassandra notes the larger dragon’s head over it, watching over the endless riches. “Stolen valour goes a long way for intimidation. Leaving his village alone was my way of repaying my debts. Little morsel, you have made a nice contribution to my horde, and granted me a nice fatty snack, and a good laugh. Though unfortunately our transaction is over. A shame, I enjoyed talking to you. Your boldness is cute. Perhaps come back with another offering at a later time. My work will show you out.”

As Cassandra is led out by the same Naga, going off about some nonsense and laughing at her jokes, She instead took note of every corner and potential spot for traps. She made note of several already, though the ones she noticed were very difficult to spot. And all very lethal. She vowed to complete her mission, though clearly this will take time, convincing a stubborn old retired adventurer to teach her his techniques.

“Dragons respect the strong,” the dragon said. “Okay, so if that’s true why do you never attack that one old farmer outside the city.” Asked the adventurer. “I’ll repeat, Dragons respect the strong.”

I was 15 when I took a leap of faith to enter a writing platform. I wasn't sure whether I'll be able to have the opportunity but it was Miss Emily who assured me that she will helped me.

“A Guide For Self-love” paved the way for me and my writing journey. I wrote it at 15 without expecting anything. I did it solely for the purpose of fulfilling my childhood dream. It was a dream that was too precious for the younger me, a dream that lingered within my heart and my mind, and a dream that somehow turned into a reality. CH.9 The Portal to Hell

Ok, so I seem to have stumbled upon a mysterious portal to the nether…am I going to possibly risk being completely vaporized by it and never seen again or escape that sociopathic bat for good and come back when I can get the ship started? The choice really wasn’t that hard. The portal took her to a planet called Terra or earth as some call it. However, in this reality earth had been taken over by zombies in the year 2021 and few survivors remained. This is the story of those survivors…

The Living Dead approached Aranea swiftly but they were no match for her powerful Stone Fist. Come get some bitch she said, taunting them. From the distance, a lone sniper fired. The <Electro-Dragon> did a rolling scream…. “I am gonna fuck up your entire universe and everything in it!” The Sniper missed again. You could hear something fall from the nearby redwood tree in which it was stationed. They were close to the assassin now but zombies blocked her from its deadly projectiles. They were still completely naked with full-body tattoos of her tribe and their sacred star sign of the apprentice. Her large tits and huge constantly erect nipples were exposed only wearing the ship's key, but armor would soon become a priority after this debacle. The sniper looked like a definite reptilian of some species. He was green like Aranea but with Red markings and a much smaller stubbier tail...figures. They dodged flying out of the way with their dragon wings and then used the palms of their hands to shoot the hands off the assailant. They then used their third eye chakra to harness the power of pure energy in the atmosphere to vaporize the remains of the passed-out and hand-less lizard. This is how she got the Twin Uzis which were gold and matched her overly excited purple and gold nipples.

She was all alone now, just drifting through the eerie, wasteland which was clearly haunted and had screeching ghosts flying all around it. It was truly hell on earth. They spent almost a whole year smashing zombie skulls with her stone cestus, trying to heal the soul of this infected planet. Eventually, though they just gave up. During this time they encountered other bipedal animals. There Was Loretta the Red Panda, who introduced Aranea to the others. A group of survivors living in the RedWoods in an old 1981 Vanagon. Around it was all their motorcycle which they held as dear as life itself.

 The day they met they played a fun game called Farkle and vaporized Dragons-Tongue flowers with a special pipe made of "Qoiten Glass". She trained with the group for days doing pull-ups on the redwoods branches. There was also Navi and a young Furry Where-wolf who loved to howl at the moon as do all lycanthropes. The group was called 'The Skull-Crushers' In addition to Navi there was also Kassandra a Bipedal Naga as there called on Rayuba, or in the common tongue cobra. They also regularly had raves in the forest with lights made from glowing rocks found in nearby mines. 

I had to wonder what potential these light-emitting stones emitted."Could they possibly be used to increase the power of my Cestus?" Repair the metal armor back on my ship perhaps? They put of few of them in their pocket for safe keeping. 

After sufficiently meditating on the idea of entering & Breeding each other's bodies the time had come for them to have an erotic Orgy to put it simply.
