Scarfed Gallade

My pokésona is back again with some new art! I knew he needed an accessory of some sort, so to be easily told apart from other gallades, I have come up with this very unique scarf because I like wearing scarves irl so why not UwU I call this scarf the shooting star scarf cos it looks like it has shooting stars :3 My main form which is a mage vixen has a shooting star wand! But my dreams and I agreed that a gallade is who I'd be in the pokemon world, it is my only sona that's male, the rest of my forms including me irl are still girls ofcourse Anywho, I had some fun drawing the comic before, I guess I just felt like coming up with more pokémon fanart :3 Hearing that Gardevoir and Gallade's spikes on the side of their heads are actually ears was actually very cute, I wasn't sure if those spikes were meant to look like floof like the cheek fluff you get on animals, but I heard some facts that they have ears inspired by fairies and elves (hence why Gardevoir is a fairy type), and I saw some fanart of Gallade emotes on how the ears sometimes droop during certain emotions, and thought it would be cute to try that out in my own style :3 Gallade is surprisingly quick and easy to draw once you get the hang of it. I will admit I had to look up references the first time ^w^; but hey, don't we all? References are an artist's best friend after all! And seeing the 3d models in game really helps because I see a common mistake on Gallade's head fin in alot of fanart, since it isn't really a flat stripe it's more like a mohawk. Anywho, enjoyyyyy-I plan to draw my ocs as pokemons next This art has actually been around for several months, since last year even, as it was only available for paid members at the time. If you wanna get sciencey about it, smells are just chemicals that your nose can detect and so different fruits/stinky things have different chemical combinations and so they smell different from each other (apple releases apple chemicals, orange releases orange chemicals, etc). It's the same mechanism as taste, it just happens in your nose rather than your mouth

That does make a little more sense, thank you! It's just always been so hard for me to picture 😅
