As much as I love Adam for a few fun parts of his character and for what he could have been at the hands of a competent writer (as shown by the fanfics where he gets properly developed)...
I feel like he (and the way he's characterised) is what broke Hazbin hotel season 1 pacing, Lucifer's character and the show's overall atmosphere.
Tumblr media
(Long and packed rant under the cut, because I've been having these thoughts since I saw season 1, and I want to share them. Viewer discretion is adviced)
Before Adam existed (pilot era) it was all simple and worked more properly: a story about the hotel and its inhabitants, and most importanty, redemption. It was a small snuggly location with a few characters in the center of a plot
Heaven was in the background and kept as a mystery. Moreover, from what we've seen in the pilot, Lucifer was obviously a background villain or at least an anti hero, one of the real obstacles for Charlie to overcome on the way to her goal (instead of a minor inconveniece resolved in a single broadway song)
But when Adam and his weird obsession with murder broke into that perfectly cut out premise, everything just shattered. Too many themes got weaved into the short story of the 8 episodes: Heaven vs Hell politics, overlords, war, Charlie's conflict with Adam, the seraphims...
All of that pushed the hotel and the redemption to the background instead of Heaven.... in a cartoon that's named after the hotel. Because 8 episodes is not enough to talk about politics, a war and a 6 month redemption course (the latter even happened behind the screen with only some verbal hints given about the amazing secretive progress the hotel guests made that we were not allowed to see!)
(Had this cartoon stayed indie, there would have been a possibility of making more episodes and tackling more themes properly. But big name broadway actors are more important than that, it appears)
Back to Adam.
He is not even a good villain. He really should have been more of a background antihero. Give the man some sedatives, for f's sake! Where did all that rabidity even come from, after centuries of living in Heaven? Honestly, he'd be expected to act calmer and wiser than how he actually did, especially with how old he is (as old as the earth itself). But instead it's like he got frozen in a state of a dumb jock bully from high school
Imagine if Adam allowed Charlie and her hotel guests to prove that redemption is possible, out of principle, or curiosity. Hell, maybe even allow him to threaten to kill them, but not straight away! Later, after they fail to prove him wrong! If that's what Adam's role had been, the hotel part would have gotten time to breathe and more spotlight
All Adam did in the series, was:
1. make a lot of excessive noise
2. do dumbass things (and it wasn't even explained WHY he's the way he is, not even a single flashback or his own musings and thoughts shown, which makes all of his actions fall flat in every sense)
3. break the remains of logic (Heaven looks plain dumb because of him, not able to tell sinning from non sinning and to judge human souls properly. It's not even corruption, since Adam is not that important or benefitial to Heaven, an actual archangel like Michael could have been leading exorcists in his place and do a better job.... it's just stupidity)
And then Adam just died, for nothing and with no consequences.
I mean, straight after Adam's death Lucifer is immediately trying to divert the viewer's attention: "who wants pancakes? :D". It's like the cartoon itself doesn't care that the first human, one of the most mysterious beings in vivzieverse and someone who badly needed a second chance and therapy, just died. By a very stupid joke too (Niffty didn't even have to stab him).
In short, Adam's plotline is a huge waste of screen time...
And while his final smile to Lute may give us some hints that there's something good inside Adam, but it's more akin to mockery. Since we were never shown that there's more to Adam besides "the main character's opponent=ultimate bad"
And of course Lucifer was retconned into a pathetic uwu boi, who's depression and "silliness" have overshadowed the fact that he practically doomed humanity to a life full of pain, suffering and surviving and took away Adam and Eve's home. We don't even get the slightest glimpse of what exactly Lucifer DREAMED of that was so important to force him to do the humans dirty. Meaning it was something abstract and not thought-through anyway.
(Free will my ass.. Adam and Lilith did as they pleased in Eden without the free will, Adam ordering his wives around, Lilith being able to defy him and Eve being able to disobey God. What good did "free will" from that fruit even do them? If anything, it only did harm to everyone)
And so now this daft egotist is being portrayed as this selfless harmless character only for the sake of contrasting the painfully obvious bad evil that Adam is.
That comes off as black and white writing, fit more for a childrens cartoon, despite the show critisizing Adam for thinking in black and white terms. Not a good look

I just now noticed the ES Quintesson Judge has hands.
The Judges typically only have tentacles.
Tumblr media
Except for the time the CV Quintessons had Appmon Plugs for tentacles.
Tumblr media
So the judges having hands now is funny to me.
So what becomes of the Quintessons in EarthSpark going forward? Heck if I know as of typing. EarthSpark has been a poorly written slog that doesn’t know what to do with itself, just like everything else that’s defined the current crop of so called modern kids cartoons…
Provided it’s not another cut concept in the next batch, the Quintessons appear to be set up as the next antagonists. They have abandonment issues, an axe to grind with Papa Quintus, and seek to abuse the power of a Prime. Be it the Emberstone (which was their original target) or the Cyber Sleeves (as the Executioner rebooted with its power).
For all the people grumbly about the Quintessons being here and thinking they don’t fit/aren’t interesting; I’m sorry to say that they were an inevitability. Quintus Prime’s only defining characteristic is that he’s the creator of the Quintessons, as a reverse homage to G1 where the Quintessons created the Transformers. For a show themed entirely around Quintus and his relic, it wouldn’t make sense to NOT finally explore this idea especially in an era where the Quintessons are gaining more relevancy again.
The problem before is there wasn’t time or reason to explore this concept in Prime, WFC, or Cyberverse. WFC implied the 80’s cartoon origin, while CV instead made the Quints into Dr. Who meets The Matrix villains, completely dodging Quintus. I’d argue yet again you could’ve squeezed it into RiD15, with the Quintessons coming to harvest relics on Earth after the Great War for a future strike on Cybertron, with Bumblebee’s Autobots standing in their way. I’m not sure how the Emberstone or Quintus himself would factor into this off the top of my head, but I could see a TFA homage where the stone makes Wreck-Gar out of the junk in Denny’s scrapyard.
As for what ES could do. My guess off hand is such.
Quintus’ lesser known thing is he created Space Bridges, and IDW MetroTitans are depicted as having built in Space Bridges to travel around…
Tumblr media
Ergo one plot could be the Quintessons trick the Decepticons into reactivating a potential space bridge already built into Terratronus, under a false promise it would take them back to Cybertron, but instead the Quints appear on Earth through it and take control of Terratronus.
In the end, Terratronus could also be as such.
Tumblr media
She Transforms into city mode and becomes a new version of (IDW) Autobot City. Possibly this is functionally New Cybertron (or the Little Cyberton refuge town via IDW).
Tumblr media
With this, she becomes the end goal of the human-Cybertron alliance with humans, Transformers and Quintessons (and any other aliens created by Quintus in particular) coming to live in the city founded by the Maltobots.

>>> the grim adventures of jon n' jack. feat batman n' spiderman. <<<
...
it was only a matter of time, before i would have made another crossover with those two. i can't deny, that they are very 1:1 for me, when it comes to comics supervillains. so why not to mix one awesome n' beloved thing with another? esp since funny enough, they do have quite a few similar plot-points. well, the halloween themed costume aside. i mean it goes as far as jack once having the bat-themed boyfriend pal, which reminds me of someone else, i know.
anyho'...
i've tried to make my notes more or less readable here, but they still might be a bit scattered. i attempted to keep them as short as possible, but i just cannot talk 'small'.
1. the first art is low-key based on underdeveloped AU, that i have about the early comic scarecrow n' modern jack meeting n' hitting it off serial killiar style. considering, that both of them possess killing methods, which have a noticable tradmark to it, i imagine that they will leave one hell of a mess behind, while traveling across the country. in that timeline, batman is dead. n' jack's shitty foster dad was killed off earlier on. neither of them knows what to do with themselves, since the people who they had *twisted* emotional conection with are gone. without any direction, they meet in the middle, n' decide that they can as well team-up n' try to make being a villain fun again. jon might experiment on their victims *or torture them if its his ex bullies* n' then give them to jack, who would scoop their brains out and put candle inside their skull. n' uh yeah, he literally did it in the comic. i was honestly surpised that marvel come up with smth that creepy. it really sounds more alined with dc, if anything. but either way, here they are. two *grieving* psychos going downtown. they will make one another so much worse, i imagine. n' they will totally kill that npc dude btw.
2. dark magic n' the drip. or jon n' jack at their corniest. like, jonathan looks like he watched too much the nightmare before christmas n' jack dress up like count dracula for no reason. it's so random-ish n' cheesy. but with this being said, i love both of those designs, n' think, that they really suit the vibe of comic issues in which they were featured. jack always came off as a he-witch to me, but it was nice to see it being played on in a different way. n' then, crane really rocks his own outfit as well. i totally need to draw him in it more often, haha. they dress up for a halloween party for real this time. n' well, i added batman n' spiderman into the mix here, bc i kinda wish that they got to fight / interact with those versions of jon n' jack. it would have been fun for a few reasons. also this can be technically counted as shipping art, but can be viewed as your typical gloating bad guy n' helpless hero thing too. n' to clear any possible questions, i only create stuff with adult peter parker. like cartoon era/late early comics, 20 smth one. i love my spiderman being of age, where he can legally mingle with his villains, not be detained at school lol.
3. the classic four from the timeline, when the comic plots were a bit more ligthearted. aka during the times, when the deadly mercenary n' crazy scientist were robbing banks, instead of harming *torturing* people. i love dark stuff, but there is charm to how 'simple' the scarecrow's and jack's goals once were. n' i love how the scarecrow used to do the lil, dorky dances. it really suits him. n' since at least 2 or maybe, most of jack o' lanterns are southernish in their roots like jon, i had an idea of them having a country dance *in the middle of graveyard* kinda just makes sense to me, haha. batman and spiderman merely happen to find them like that. n' well, it's kinda awkward. esp bc they technically don't do anything bad. i also imagine spiderman being like 'oh, so you have one of those too'. which is mostly a ref to how both the scarecrow n' jack were called 'the reject from land of oz' by other characters. they can rejoice here.
4. the develish & undead duo!! my friend once told me to try n' watch older superhero cartoons, and at first i was like 'welp, they prob be hella boring'. but then i caved in, n' watched a couple of superfriends episodes. as result, i fell in love with their scarecrow's desingh! it was unexpected tbh. usually, i prefer jon's older, classic scarecrow look. so no straw hair, less features exposed, just a hat n' a sack on his head, but their version of him actually did it for me. i find their crane both creepy n' cute. n' i also read on wiki, that he might be undead. so that bit interested me as well. non-human jonathan crane, what a concept! him returning from the grave just to be a menace to batman. n' to accompany him, there is an undead jack o' lantern from the ghost rider comic. his corpse literally got possessed by satan. anyways, both of them raised army of zombies. both of them undead n' prob won't ever get out of their spooky suits, since i don't think that they can. n' funny enough, jack's hometown was called sleepy hollows, if i remember correctly. so they can haunt people there, make it into a truly cursed land.
5. the last one was kinda spontaneous on my part. the other day, i was looking at what kind of action figures the scarecrow n' jack have. saw one, where jon was looking kinda strange, all black n' yellow. which is how i find out that he *apparently* got yellow lantern powers in newer comics, even if it was like for 10 seconds or smth. i didn't read the issue itself, but i found the idea kinda fun, n' his design was decent enough for me to get interested n' wonder what i can do with it. then, a bit later, i saw that jack had a venom-funko figure. i don't think, that he was ever canonically venomized in any of the actual comic issues, but once again, the mere idea of it happening was enough for me to consider doing smth with it. i mean, a venom-like tongue, but its made out of fire? dang. that's kinda cool. so yeah. the yellow lantern scarecrow n' symbiote jack o' lantern being the double trouble. if they weren't enough of a mean goblin-man before, now they surely will be.

PUPPET WARNING: Dave’s Bro Facts Roundup
(page 567-574)
9/1/2009 Wheel Spin: being silly :3c Verdict: Do Not Be Silly Here
9/2/2009 Wheel Spin: Captchalogue Lore Verdict: Do Not Captchalogue These Things
Tumblr media
It is worse in Dave’s house than it is in John’s or Rose’s. Hovering over the infinite abyss of clouds and getting pelted with baby meteorites are both preferable to whatever the FUCK is going on at Dave’s place. I think that John’s dad and Rose’s mom are both complex people with a lot going on in their own lives that their kids don’t see and I think Dave’s bro is the story’s cartoon villain before we’ve even caught a glimpse of him.
This is some unfathomably off the wall shit, so against my will because I do not want to think about him, here’s a list of what we know about the mysterious Strider brother (cw for mentions of sex crimes).
Owns a large collection of puppets, including nude Smuppets, puppets of celebrities, marionettes, and a ventriloquist doll named Lil Cal
Takes Lil Cal out on gigs (p.447)
Moves Lil Cal to various locations in the apartment, making it appear as though Cal is moving himself (p.564)
Keeps puppets in kitchen equipment such as the microwave and blender, preventing their being used for food (p.574)
Makes thousands of dollars every month by running an adult puppet website (p.460)
Maintains a variety of other websites, all of which he claims are ironic
Keeps webcams switched on around the house, possibly using the footage for his websites, which may feature his underage brother (p.570)
Is a gamer, a regular reader of GameBro magazine, and signed up as a beta tester for Sburb but has no intention of playing (p.314)
Owns a large amount of technology including an Xbox, flatscreen TV, computer, speaker system, turntables and mixing gear (p.455, 562)
Password protects his computer (p.456)
Sleeps in the living room (p.447)
Owns a lot of weapons and explosives, which he keeps loose in the kitchen, blades out (p.567)
‘always getting on [Dave’s] case’ about weaponizing his sylladex (p.386)
Carries a sword around the house, which is a sign of trouble to Dave (p.562)
Draws comics, which may focus on dark and violent retellings of children’s media (p.565)
I think most people would agree that this would be an unpleasant person to live with, and someone who should not be taking responsibility for a child. Dave appears genuinely scared when outside of his room. Even without making any inferences at all, the house is a physically dangerous space – but there are a lot of clear implications made by the facts above that suggest illegal activity, neglecting a dependent’s basic needs, and exposing a child to pornography, which is a really unpleasant association for a character and an extreme choice for a writer to make. Hearing that before even meeting Bro has closed me off to liking him or even seeing his ‘good side’ and I expect lots of other readers will be the same, even if that reaction wasn’t the author’s intent.
All this to say, it’s actually kind of simple when your problems are an imp ten times your size climbing up to your house. That’s a very clear and actionable goal compared to whatever Dave’s been going through for as long as he’s been living with this guy. I am really interested to know what role the main characters’ family members will play in the story once they are all playing Sburb – John is clearly determined to save his dad despite complaining about him before beginning the game, so there could be a reversal of this with Dave, where he realizes that he doesn’t want to save his brother and goes against the game’s intended path.

The Path to Hell is paved with good intentions
I think what is interesting is the drive that is the Autobots and Decpeticons. Mostly the cause of the Decpeticons and Megatron himself.
Alot of the time we see Megatron to be a crazy, battle hungry, warlord whos hel bent of causing destruction, conquering all in his path and who cares only about his goal to rule.
Over the years we have seen many version of Megatron. From silly goofy villain who's somtiems could acutally be a threat like in g1, to pash, cold, cunning like TFA, to being a crazy war lord who is incredibly cruel in TFP.
But these versions are mostly a Megatron who came from fighting, or had no good intentions to begin with besides being selfish or power hungry.
Then you have TFE and IDW/IDW2 (and possibly tf one). A different apprich to a character. Some may say its to make someone who has done cruel things as more sympathetic. But I think adds depth and personality.
Giving more than a crazy leader with silly goons, to a person who genuinely thought at the beginning, "I want things to change, for the better ,because it is broken"
Much howOptimus, the humble data clerk (hate he is a cop in idw tbh) and the hard working miner. Your everyday ppl, going through diffenrt struggles and honestly. I think woukd be fair to say that Orion wouldn't know the struggles of lower level bots that don't even have proper names..
Like D-16. The mech whis become Megatron.
Both Optimus and Megatron i think wnates to see a change , but how they both went about it i what added the conflict.
These two are basically your average everyday people. Megatron was an average everyday person. He wasn't born into the pits, net a warrior. A worker.
I think with alot of cartoon "villains" to we get older and started to see from a adult perspective. "Oh wait they are making sense." And how MESSED up the situation even was to drive these characters to this point.
Its no longer good vs evil, it is two ideals fighting aginst each other. What was once a fight for what these two sides believes in, turned into warfare and blood shed. To the mentality of Megatron being
"I can't trust anyone to right thing, besides me. I am the only one who can fix this, I can lead us."
You know what I could also see Optimus having the SAME mentality when comes to fighting megatron and restoring Cybertron. They are very much two sides of the same coin. I think that's what adds to the conflict between them. Optimus could be one bad day away from becoming Megatron onnthe sense of wanting to control the situation despite what costs just to not se Megatron when.
And you know he HAS done this. Yeeting the allspark for one to not let Megatron have ir but at the cost of Cybteron and its occupance. It was a loose loose situation regardless.
When it comes to alt-modist mentality, this high class vs low class, and the corruption of Cybertron. It is no wonder why so many people believes in the Decpeticon causes.
The reason why I clung so hard to Transformers Earthspark Megatron is because this was a break out from his character. To later learn it definitely took inspo from IDW who explored this character further sealed my admiration for him.
No one in the tf universe is less or more guilty. Both sides have done HORRIBLE things. Experimentation, brutality, killing innocence and their own soldiers just to get the won up. The autobots are not without their own blood shed. Only SOME of the autobots have a bit more regard for life and the planet they sit on. It doenst mean all of them do, and it doenst mean people within the groups around Optimus like it. But because they are painted as good guys we exapect them to.
Its when Decpeticons seem to take an interest in life do I find it way more compelling because it is out of their characteristics. They are the "bad guys"
Knockout being interested in Human cinema
Thundercracker being into writing and making movies
They are still PEOPLE. With interests and hobbies, internal conflicts and hesitations.
To see a Megatron not only fight aginst his own army , but take a human, a HUMAN as a friend that he TRUSTS?! That he gave up his Cybertronian already mode UP FOR?! Thats a bug FUCKING deal.
Just the contrast to TFW Megs to say TFP. Tfp depsite it beingbbetter for camouflage NEVER changes his alt mode. He is never willing to acutally change, he is so deeply rooted in what he is, who he is. What he is doing. That he is unwilling to change to the surroundings. No the surrounding will change BECAUSE of him.
While TFE realized a change was needed to fix things, to work together, to show I AM CHANGING, I WANT TO DO THE RIGHT THING.
This is not a Slander Optimus rant or a WOW Megatron is such a great guy essay.
Was mostly me rambling.

Gay wrongs tournament, round 3 of the minor bracket
Propaganda:
For Lord Hater and Commander Peepers :
Lord Hater is the self-proclaimed "universe's awesomest evil-doer", an immature, attention-seeking manchild with electric powers and a short temper. He rules the Hater Empire with Commander Peepers as his second-in-command (technically third, after his beloved pet spider-xenomorph, but who's counting), however it soon becomes *very* clear that the cunning, remorseless, hardworking Peepers is the *real* brains behind the empire. Peepers might be frustrated at Hater's incompetence at times and isn't above manipulating him to reach an end goal, but he'd never dream of usurping him because, well, he's really gay and in love with him (as much as he can be in an early-10s Disney cartoon, anyways). Hater might take Peepers for granted a lot of times, but as his oldest friend and closest confidante he's the one who Hater is closest to. Whether it's invading other planets or kicking puppies for fun, these two are *delightfully* terrible jerks and the epitome of gay wrongs.
Commander Peepers is both Lord Hater's right hand man in villainy AND his jilted stay-at-home-wife-guy (Also in villainy. Hater is really good at getting distracted from productive and efficient villaining.) Lord Hater was the greatest villain in the galaxy thanks to how well he and Commander Peepers worked as an evil team to run the Hater Empire!
Lord Hater conquers planets and is such an edgy bastard. Peepers is the actual brains behind the operation. Peepers is often pushed aside by Hater, they are besties and yet Peepers is always pining for this guy who will never notice. Peepers is so horribly gay for him if you watch the show he wants his stupid boss so bad. Peepers is so scared of him season 1 but then starts yelling BACK in season 2 and has to deal with him like a babysitter or something and yet STILL idolizes him and that’s just such a fun dynamic. His password is H8RNP33PRS43VR (Hater and Peepers forever). They are so evil and everyone fears them and they are villains and they are gay and the side of the fandom that draws them as a married couple that needs counseling is absolutely correct. The fanart of Hater openly liking him back is wonderful but I swear you don’t even need that. They are so gay and villain you have to love them they are
Villains that conquer planets and do evil stuff, my favourite characters, not really canon but they are the best :)
For Peter Lukas and Elias Bouchard:
Elias is essentially the big bad of the entire podcast and Peter’s just as evil They both are servants to fear gods, causing significant harm and distress to feed their patrons The best part is that they serve diametrically opposed fear entities. Elias serves one focused on the fear of being watched and known while Peter serves the one about being alone, forgotten and forsaken, it’s a very interesting dynamic They have been divorced and remarried more times than anyone - possibly even themselves - can count

I know you said you need to stop screaming first but I am EAGERLY awaiting your thoughts on Essek in the teaser
OKAY OKAY HERE GOES.
The thing is, there's no real reason to include him.
Yes, he's very popular, but he has never historically been included as a default, validly! He occupies a very interesting space mechanically and narratively, but he is still not a PC. Yes, he's part of the Mighty Nein as a group, per canon, but not until the end, which in theory would be well beyond the first season, and so is Cad, who is not present in this teaser—presumably to preserve the mystery around [INSERT MAJOR SPOILER WARNING HERE].
I would imagine that Cad is not present because having Taliesin's voice twice is too much of a tipoff for anyone watching LoVM but not the campaigns, whereas simply having Matt voice someone is not.
HOWEVER.
There are a decent number of lines that you could choose for Essek that are about the Nein—personally, my favorite, that I've thought previously would make a really stellar trailer line, is from 124: "You certainly carve a unique destiny, don't you?" Everything down to the way Matt delivers it (which you can see here) would make it a really viable option.
But the line they went with isn't about the Nein—it's very much a line about Essek himself. "I want to unlock these mysteries. I want to dive as deep as I can into that ocean of the unknown and see what is possible." It's a line that is very specific to Essek and his actions and goals, even beyond his involvement with the Nein.
And it's placed in the middle of the pack, which frames him on the same level as the rest of the Nein! Someone who is not familiar with the campaign would hear that as simply another protagonist. But of course, he's not—unless there is some serious restructuring (more even than the restructuring present in LoVM, which, aside from introducing a few of the initial less plot-bearing aspects later, like the Slayer's Take, it's thus far structured in order), he won't come into the show for quite some time, and almost certainly not in the first season.
But we don't really have any idea how this show will be structured. There are different comments on the beginning from different sources; notably, Gizmodo mentions Calianna being present in some way initially, while no one else does. The logline most outlets are reporting revolves the Nein "prevent[ing] the kingdom from plunging into chaos when an arcane artifact capable of reshaping reality falls into the wrong hands," presumably the beacon (my beloved).
So it makes sense to mention Essek, for, you know, the obvious reasons, as comment on the beacon itself. (I'm going to guess they're simplifying it to one beacon, per the press release, for ease lol.) But this line, while about dunamancy as a whole and the powers of the beacon, is not about it directly. It's still about Essek's interest in it. It is an excellent line, and on its face, it has nothing to do with the Nein or the plot of the first fifty episodes of the campaign.
There's plenty of speculation to be done about how this might be structured, and I'm sure I'll do plenty of it because, let's be honest, I do not shut up about adaptation and translating stories between formats, it is one of my absolute favorite subjects, and this is the Nein, babey!!!
So my point here being: I think there is a lot of room with the nature of Wildemount politics to get a little wild with structure in the translation from D&D game to TV show that, while not impossible in LoVM, wouldn't really have added anything to the story, and honestly, might've taken away from it. Because the point is to watch Vox Machina become the big damn heroes! We do see tidbits of Brimscythe and the Briarwoods beyond the purview of the heroes, but mostly in ways that feel very '80s cartoon villain cameo' which fits the feel of the show perfectly.
But there are a lot of political players and forces in Wildemount that the Nein navigate whether they're aware of them or not, one of whom of course becomes a member of their party, and that's part of what makes their story so interesting. The Nein are the heroes that no one knows, who are always playing within and against the system and are hyper aware of that, and I think expanding how much of that we get to see now that the format allows for it (not necessarily a lot, not to the point of adding whole plotlines, but at least some of it) would only add to the tension and stakes, and Essek's presence in the trailer makes me wonder if they will.

Why do you think allison pendle work better as a villain rather than good guy?
Because as a good guy, she's bland and milquetoast to the point I ask why she's even there. In the base game of BATIM she doesn't use her screentime to make a big impression in contrast to the other characters who DO make use of every scrap of screentime they get. Just look at every other antagonist with a voice.
What do we learn about Sammy throughout the game? That he was once a sane, grumpy music director with a strong distaste for the cartoon character and is presently a cultist who worships the Ink Demon and is willing to kill to appease said lord and to free himself from 'the inky abyss I call a body'. In chapter 5, while it's mostly implications and not flat out said, the fact that the Lost Ones ONLY turn hostile towards Henry after Sammy's death strongly implies that he is well liked enough in their community to warrant then acting out in such a way.
What do we learn about Susie? That she was once a starry-eyed actress who thought she was going to make it big with the character she loved to voice before she was replaced by Allison and betrayed by Joey and is now a violent and bitter parody of the character she once played, resorting to cutting up other cartoons, taking their hearts and leaving the rest for scrap, mirroring how she herself had her heart stolen and the rest of her left for scrap.. She also tells us a bit about a certain musician whom she clearly doesn't think fondly of right now, but does admit he was once a handsome man... What do we learn about Norman? That he was a level-headed, light on his feet, not very social fellow who picks up on the peculiarities of his bosses. We also notice in his maze that he's developed a habit of taking out the hearts of intruders (ripping them out like a certain angel right above him?), and will attack anything that either gets caught in his light or tries to steal from him.
What do we learn about Bertram? That he's basically a realistic version of the man Joey dreams to be; A man who's been bringing joy to the public for years, a man who brings mechanical wonders to reality, a man that's not just a dreamer but a doer. But while he is an *ideal* version of Joey, he's not a dream come to life, he's not perfect, he's not a mind reader and he certainly gets fed up with Joey and his critical red pen. His ego reaches his limit with Joey and his ink monster form reflects that; a magnum opus that is designed to wow and destroy.
What do we learn about Joey himself? That he is a vile yet pitiful king of falsehoods sitting on a throne of lies that rests on top of the rubble of his crooked empire built out of his own cruelty. Every tape of his barring the one where the mask finally slips is one that paints the image of a starry-eyed dreamer with goals bigger than reality yet the drive to do anything to achieve them and meeting him at the end shows us the ugly, naked phoenix chick left in the ashes of his former glory, to this day he refuses to discard the mask as he still speaks as a dreamer who has yet to let go of the past (hence causing the cycle to do nothing but repeat.). What do we get with all of these antagonists? We get a personality, backstory, possible relationship connections, goals, and what they're willing to do to accomplish said goals.
Now lets look back to Allison.
Her personality? 'Nice', which is basically a default setting of human being. She also 'lacks hope', which is a default setting that comes with being in the environment.
Backstory? Aside from what Susie tells us in HER tape, Nada, we don't even get a single tape recorder from Allison.
Relationship connections? Tom does all the work here by fiercely protecting her/antagonizing Henry believing him to be a threat while she passively reacts to it if she reacts at all.
Goals? Survive? Get out Help Henry get out.
What she's willing to do for said goals? Give him a seeing glass and help in one fight before abandoning him because 'a drop in the ocean is never seen again'.
But by taking her and making her an antagonistic player on Joey's side, she goes from dull-as-a-rock helper to two-faced Industry Weed and suddenly we can look back and realize that her being a boring but somewhat helpful ally in the last play of the game WAS HER SURVIVAL GIMMICK ALL ALONG, THAT SHE PLANNED IT ALL.
Her Personality: Carefully hidden away so that Henry was never aware of her true colors until it was too late.
Backstory: That she and Joey met up several times and were mutually inspired by each others' dreams, and that she was willing to scratch his back if he scratched hers...
Relationship connections: Due to the other Antagonists likely knowing her true nature at this point; negative with everyone BUT Joey, Henry, and Tom, but Tom believes he's the one keeping her in the dark when the reality is they're keeping each other in the dark...
Goals: Likely the same as Joey's.
What is she willing to do to achieve said goals: ANYTHING! Murder, mutilation, psychological warfare, inflicting Stockholm syndrome VIA the 'good cop bad cop' routine she and Tom are playing, whatever she and Joey need her to do to get those results!
Just... do you see the difference? BATIM already has its fair share of sympathetic villains and it doesn't hurt to put an Imp in angel's clothing in there.

"Weh Belos could've been perfect for a redemption arc but no he's just a 2-D villain"
Most of the complaints I've seen is that the show treated him as a 2-D villain rather than that he should have been redeemed.
Belos wasn't treated like a 2-D Villain. And that's a common misconception among the Philip Wittebane simps. He was treated like the asshole he was. One who showed repeatedly he didn't give a flying fuck who he hurt as long as he could play hero for what? Some ridiculous outdated mindset of how the world should work? There's a saying I've heard a few times around the internet and it's "When someone shows you who they truly are, believe them"
Belos showed Luz who he was multiple times. He showed himself as a manipulator, an abuser, someone who thinks he's doing God's work by hurting others. Someone who thinks he's so in the right that he perceives people like Luz as crazy and someone who can't be reasoned with. So the characters in the show who are the victims of his ideals and his actions responded accordingly.
He had a backstory, he had aspirations, a goal. He had determination and he had flaws. There is NOTHING suggesting he is a 2-D villain outside of maybe well...he played the last card he possibly could by possessing the Titan and he LOST.
He will go down as one of the best Disney cartoon villains I have ever seen. Right up there with Bill Cipher and Toffee. But my point still stands, if the only thing you can think of to make his character more 3 dimensional is a redemption arc YOU HAVE MISSED THE POINT OF BELOS AS A CHARACTER AND IM SO SORRY FOR YOU.

Think my favorite thing about FFXIV is them taking what was once a group of Saturday Morning Cartoon villains whose entire thing was being mustache twirling evil for the sake of it, and but with the exception of Igeyorhm and Nabriales, has turn them all into 3 dimensional characters with wants, goals, and depth and back story. They could of just kept someone like Lahabrea, the meme, the legend, the loaf of bread himself that one note MWHAHAHAHA, Pa-the-tic dude they had but no, turns out he was being girlbossed, gatekept and gaslit by his dead wife trying to achieve godhood. You know, girl night out kind of deal. Elidibus was always just ambigous, for a group of villains who pride themselves on working in the shadows of history, I thought he was just a fucking troll. Working blatantly out in the open by possessing Zenos and bullying Varis. Turns out he is basically on autopilot and what was once Themis or any surviving piece of the man that once was is fleeting. We see him take a genuine interest in us when we use Azem's crystal in the Seat of Sacrifice but are immediately overridden by the prayers of his people as the heart of Zodiark and contends with us. The boy who once idolize us a frayed and fragmented being fighting for a reason he doesn't recall but he does so anyway. And then there is Emet-Selch. Solus zos Galvus was always just a sort of question mark over the series, he had zero real screen time and was uncereminously killed off in Post-ARR in an attempt to up the stakes by appointed Varis to the post of Emperor. But they looped it back around and made everything the Garlean Empire has been doing and all the comically stupid things like sending an entire legion to aid in Dalamud's fall, fighting under the falling Dalamud in Cartaneau, letting a legion just leave high command and go off on its own under the influence of Lahabrea, letting Doma and Ala Mhigo into famine. Make sense in Emet-Selch purposely trying to sew as much chaos as possible among the factions of the world and then dying in the middle of a crisis for the fun of it. For the last remaining "normal" Paragon who remembers his people and the way they lived even through rose-tinted glasses. Holding true to wanting to revive Amaurot or more accurate Hythlodaeus. Even though Lakshmi shows us that even if the Ancients were revived, they wouldn't be the same. They'd be shells, empty and unresponsive. They'd be "alive" but not truly active. Emet-Selch was always always doom in his goal but he followed it through til his death.

In terms of personality, in addition to being a master manipulator, I see Roo as being evil for the hell of it (pun very much intended). She does have higher goals when it comes to spreading her influence throughout creation, but for the most part she just does whatever amuses her, no matter how depraved or cruel. She can keep her sadism in check when it isn't to her benefit to indulge, but if she can get away with it she'll do everything she can to rooin your life (I'll stop punning after that one) in the worst way she can think of. I also think she enjoys toying with her foes/victims and dragging out their suffering for as long as possible and being chatty with them all throughout. Similar to Alastor in a way, but lacking his nuance and standards.
Given how she's been set up as the Endgame villain for Hazbin, I feel like this would make her a perfect antithesis for Charlie. While Charlie is a classic all-loving heroine who gives hope and second chances to those willing to accept it like Halloween candy simply to make life in Hell happier, Roo is a classic card-carrying villain who enjoys crushing hopes and dreams under her heel for sh*ts and giggles while only caring about fulfilling her vices and goals.
This interpretation could be wrong but until she appears in person to disprove it, that's my take on the Root of Evils character.
Tumblr media
Greetings again,
Please keep going with puns. I'm a sucker for puns and dad jokes even if they do make me face palm and cringe.
I agree full heartedly. It's how I imagine Roo. I basically imagine her being a near carbon copy of Eris from the Dreamworks Sinbad movie. Or at least, what I remember from it. It's been like 10-15 years since I watched it.
I remember being mesmerized by her animation movements. She moved like smoke and shadow...which seem on par what Roo will turn out to me. And very flowy hair that move like she was moving around underwater.
She Is the goddess of chaos and discord. Now, that's not inherently evil but Its how Imagine our ROOt of all evil will strive and relish in.
Eris in Sinbad from what I remember, was a relatively calm and collective carefree person who was like 3-5 steps ahead of the protagonist. Her life wasn't going to be ruined when Sinbad ultimately ruined her plans. She's a damn goddess. So its not like she stressed out about her little plans. Her creating chaos was just fun and games. The mortals were her play things to be entertained with. She set the scene and watch them played it out. She had a prefered ending but at the end of the day, the events didn't really affect her.
I imagine Roo be similar. Except I think Roo does have an objective/end goal she trying to reach. I think something is restraining her to be a real player to do so, so she force to have agents to act out her will that will free her *cough couch ALASTOR couch*....or something similar.
Eris is She was manipulative, cunning, intimating, and alluring. She just tricks people to do her bidding to make the world into chaos and just enjoys the discord of it all. Which is something I see Roo doing.
*Side note: I think Roo will have seem and look mysterious and alluring for people to be tempted towards the path of evil.
Also Eris in the end, kept her promise to Sinbad when she lost. Which seem on par what Roo would do with how deals work in Hazbin. So essentially, when I talk about Roo, I have my memory from 10 years ago of Eris in mind of what Roo would be like. Both being an ancient deity of chaos for the thrill of it while keeping their words and moving around like shadowy smoke.
However, Roo probably be crueler than dreamworks Eris for the fact that...family movie vs adult cartoon. Roo causing pain, harm and suffering on her own whims which wasn't something we witness with Eris.
I also think she enjoys toying with her foes/victims and dragging out their suffering for as long as possible and being chatty with them all throughout. Similar to Alastor in a way, but lacking his nuance and standards.
This is exactly why I think Alastor is bond to her. They are too similar. I believe it was Roo that sought Alastor out and struck a deal. He enjoys what he does without remorse. Killing and riling people up for fun and entertainment. But unlike most manic killers, Alastor can also work discreetly. Subtle and and careful plant seeds that would grow into chaos.
I also just really love the idea Alastor think redemption is unachievable for him. Beside him being bored out of his mind in Heaven so he wouldn't want to seek redemption. But he also think the options is complete out of his grasp as he literal an extension of the embodiment of evil as he is a servant of her will.
It would be interesting how Charlie would want to deal with her. She believes everyone deserve a second chance and wouldn't want to go against that principle. Charlie will definitely be going through some type of change. It may not be necessarily good either. I would hate to see sunshine and rainbow princess having to lose that and lose herself and principles to do what is necessary. I mean, who isn't a sucker for good over evil. But Charlie may have to go through...well not really go through a villian arc...but less...heroic arc? Take off the rose tinted glasses and learn hard lessons? who knows. The hard lesson probably involved Alastor sudden but inevitable betrayal by being Roo servant and enacting her will.
What I'm curious on is if they make Roo multileveled and dimensional. Because I am viewing Roo like Eris...but Eris is very one dimensional villain. There's no backstory or origin. She a goddess of chaos from the start of creation I suppose. Her only purpose and motivation is to create chaos and discord. For their own entertainment. Which all see very Roo qualities.
But...I won't oppose or complain if Roo is like that and nothing more. But I would be more appreciative if the creator can someone make Roo more then one dimensional. That there is some type of backstory. Some type of motivation and purpose...beside "for funsies and entertainment"
And I think we might have a dribble of something. Because I do Roo has motive to extend her reach of evil. Her backstory develop watching millenia of humans and their good and evil. I'm sure theres something there to work with I'm just not exactly sure what.
It would be interesting if the creators can somehow twist the ROOt of evil-evil incarnate to be a halfway decent person like the other sinners and Sins we get to witness. which is pretty much what the shows about.
The sinners are not great people but they still have heart and some good humanity in them. (well, some anyways)
Then you have the sin of Gluttony and Lust embodiments from Helluva Boss...who wants their Sins partaken in a responsible manner.
I be content and fine if Roo is just a straight up villain. But if creators can someone twist Evil incarnate into having heart (like the other characters in their show) despite working towards their more then likely very evil plan. I would be freakin impressed.
I had to look up eris and link a scene of her.
youtube
Now, I have to find something streaming this movie to watch soon.

Hello, I have a question related to inspiration vs plagiarism:
Theodore Patel is a character in my story, one of the main antagonists. His backstory and personality takes a lot of elements from Walter Strickler from the Trollhunters cartoon.
What they have in common:
They are both supernatural beings (Theodore is a fey and Strickler is a troll changeling) disguised as humans, whose initial goals are to free an ancient entity who want to take over the world,
Both are history teachers at the protagonists' High School.
Both have a love of history-based puns, often joking to make their students feel at ease.
Both have an affectionate nickname for the main protagonist as a reference to their personality trait (Strickler has "Young Atlas" while Theodore has "Young Artemis").
What sets them apart is their different motivations and inner struggles.
Do you think I need to change some traits to differentiate Theodore from Strickler and avoid committing plagiarism, or is it possible to keep them distinct enough without changing any of the listed traits?
The thing is, I found Strickler so charming and endearing that I wanted to write something similar. I love the concept of a child hero and villain who have a teacher-student relationship in their civilian lives, and wanted to have it in my story.
Character is Too Similar to Inspiration Source
Different motivations and inner struggles are a good start, but outside of that and a few superficial differences (name change, being change, protagonist's nickname tweak), they're essentially the same character. So, you have to go a little further to make this a different character. Here are some suggestions...
1 - Change the initial goal. That is such a unique and specific goal when you take all the other lightly tweaked elements into account.
2 - Give him a different subject to teach at the protagonist's high school. If history was critical to Strickler's role and is critical to Theodore's role, that's an indication that they're too close.
3 - Ditch the love of history-based/teaching subject-based puns. Again, that's just too unique and specific. If you have to keep the puns, just make him a fan of general puns.
4 - "Young Artemis" is too similar to "Young Atlas." Look for a different nickname that doesn't include "young" or a synonym of "young." For example, maybe he calls him "Smart Arty" or "Smartemis."
Happy writing!

Hey can we. Not rehash the "vilbur" schtick with tommy? Especially not through Direct Comparisons.
Like, the original concept is ableist full stop, but at the Very Least you can argue that other characters had reason to be afraid in-universe. That Wilbur's goals were scary and upsetting.
That does not and Should Not justify the intense vilification of his character, treating a suicidal mental spiral like a Saturday morning cartoon villain At Best. But there is at least an alibi for the fandom portrayal, it's possible to see Why people were willing to fall into the tropes that they did at the time and say they genuinely didn't know better.
But
A: there has been an explicit and continued effort to seriously engage with and challenge that fan perception in canon. There is absolutely No Excuse to continue with that black and white vilification of that arc in 2022 and Least Of All with the ableist "insanity" trope. He's not a slasher villain, he was mentally ill and traumatized.
B: Are You Serious.
Are people genuinely for real making the actual take that tommy wanting to kill the Torturing Abusing Serial Killer With The Intent And Means To Torture Abuse And Serial Kill Both Tommy Himself And Everyone On The Server Is Tommy's "Descent Into Villainous Madness" Because His PTSD Is Too Front And Center.
Even Within the ableist slasher insanity tropes presented by Wilbur's fandom vilification, Dream Is The Canonical Serial Killer. Tommy Is Canonically Dream's Murder Victim. Tommy Literally Watched Dream Murder Multiple People In Front Of Him, And Attempt To Murder More. He Literally Watched Dream Try To Murder Quackity, His Friend, Like Two Months Ago. Tommy Is Literally Only Acting In Self Defense, And He's Doing So Reluctantly Because He Doesn't Actually Want Anyone To Die.
Like, I cannot stress enough that Wilbur's treatment by the fandom Is ableist, but what's happening with tommy now is people arguing that the protagonists in horror movies are the Real villains falling into insanity after all because they killed ghostface or Jason.
People are Really willing to pretend that someone defending themselves against a serial killer is some Scary Insanity Spiral if they're visibly traumatized by said serial killer serial killing them.
And the thing is, this being as blatant as it is doesn't Lessen the ableism pointed at wilbur's character, it strips it down and shows it for what it is. Because it's the Same it's the Exact Same intent and motivation from the same people.
I don't think they Know that what they're doing is vilifying stigmatized mental illness, but that's what it is. It's the trauma itself that's presented as scary.

Junko's ultimate ambition in Danganronpa 2 is indicative of what makes Junko so much fun as a recurring villain.
Operation: Junko-fy Mankind is a bit weird. Like. If she turns everyone on Earth into Junko then she wouldn't be spreading despair, would she? She'd just be spreading herself. It's not clear what she would get out of that.
But that's kinda the point of Junko?
Like. Her whole thing is despair. She wants to create despair. But at the same time, it's kind of... not?
At the end of the day, her whole thing is that she doesn't want to be bored anymore. Despair is the form that her entertainment takes, but it's ironically not the end-all be-all of the Ultimate Despair. She can even become bored of despair. That's what happens to her in a Junko playthrough of Danganronpa S; She gets bored of despair and decides to try wearing hope as a hat for a little bit.
Junko is an emotional sadomasochist who finds enjoyment from both suffering and inflicting trauma, but her core motivation ultimately is to fill the silence. To have something to do that will stimulate her for a little bit. She's. Just. Bored.
As the Ultimate Analyst, Junko's literally too smart for her own good, which has infected her with super-enhanced ADHD and an ever-present agonizing boredom. That's it. That's who she is.
As the recurring archvillain of a franchise, that's great. Like. Junko is perfectly designed to be a Saturday Morning Cartoon villain. To show up with a new wicked scheme that she's totally devoted to even if it utterly contradicts the goal behind the wicked scheme she was trying to carry out last week.
Experiencing and inflicting trauma are the main things that numb the boredom, because nothing else stimulates her quite so much. It's her stim. She needs the most extreme psychological reaction possible. She eats that shit like candy.
She cuts herself to feel. Only instead of cutting herself, she murders her childhood best friend and crush so that she can experience the anguish of watching him die. Then she has a new little nugget of trauma to entertain herself with. And thus, the boredom is staved off. For a time.
But in the end, she's not dedicated to any particular manner of hurting people. She's not even dedicated necessarily to hurting people, as her growing bored of despair demonstrates. She's just here to have a good time, and she doesn't care how many eggs she has to break to make her short-lived morning omelet.
She is exactly the kind of character you can get 53 different evil schemes out of.

what's boboiboy
ive had three people ask me this and im so sorry for the long ass ramble you’re about to get hit by (for the sake of being Understandable for a specific part of this im gonna be using the Eng Dub names; but will be putting the OG names in quotes)
Okay so Boboiboy is a Malaysian 3d animated cartoon that you can watch for free on youtube (either in the original Malay with eng subs or the eng dub). There’s 4 seasons and 2 movies- albeit, the 4th season is technically a soft reboot, despite the first 3 seasons + first movie still being canon to it, the MC’s powers get reset to the beginning, basically.
Said 4th season is called Galaxy, and currently, Galaxy season 2 is being published in the form of a comic (to make things easier for the animation team, as they’re also working on other projects). Each comic volume is equal to one episode, basically. There’s one more comic to come out (vol. 26) and then they’ll do a season 3 in comic form. Supposedly the animated version of season 2 is set to drop sometime this year, but I don’t know the specifics of it. I’ve only read up to vol 12 of the comics- webtoons has an official english version thats up to vol.8, and there’s a fandub of the comics up to vol.12 on youtube that has english subtitles. (There’s also an official comic dub that’s up to vol. 3).
Anyways; the plot, so, like.
Okay.
The initial plot at the start of our show are these Team Rocket-esque (in terms of vibes and how incompetent they are) aliens are trying to steal cocoa powder from earth because it’s a powerful energy source. Eventually this plotline gets left behind in favour of other ones, and in Galaxy it switches to protecting Power Spheres.
Our MC is named Boboiboy, and to simplify things as much as possible, this Power Sphere Robot named Ochobot gives him and his friends power watches that give them different powers. Gopal can turn inanimate objects into food, Ying has super speed and can slow down time, and Yaya can control gravity. There’s also Fang, who is an alien, and he’s kinda like... the Red Son or Macaque of the show at first?? Redeemed villain kinda. His main goal was wanting to be more popular than Boboiboy, I think. (Its been a WHILE).
And as for Boboiboy, he gets the ability to control up to 7 elements, as well as the ability to split into 7 (albeit, he does so only once or twice in the actual canon, his normal split is into three). The NOTABLE thing is that each element develops their own personality, they’re all still Boboiboy and share traits with him (main ones i can think of are being a Dumbass and Forgetfulness- albeit the forgetfulness is actually a side-effect that happens if he remains split for too long, he slowly becomes more amnesiac the longer he’s split). The elements also have a second tier, with different names, that are far more powerful (and apparently theres a THIRD tier too albeit only one of them has unlocked that as far as im aware). The elements (and their personalities + how they manifested/unlocked tier 2) are as follows;
Lightning (Petir) | Thunderstorm (Halilintar) - was one of the first three elements Boboiboy got, achieved tier 2 after being. Effectively tortured by his phobia and getting pissed about it. Serious and cool/aggressive. Is basically the Emo of the group?? definitely the one that would be called “Shadow the Hedgehog” jokingly. I can think of no other way to describe him. Arguably the fan fave.
Wind (Angin) | Cyclone (Taufan) (i’ve also seen him be called Hurricane) - was one of the first three elements, achieved tier 2 by... basically getting high on poisoned cookies. no i am not joking. Cheerful and carefree. He has a hoverboard in tier 2. Kinda gives off skaterboy vibes???
Earth (Tanah) | Earthquake (Gempa) - was one of the first three elements, achieved tier 2 via protecting the others. Composed, protective, and reliable. Is jokingly referred to as the Mom friend by people in the fandom and they’re honestly not wrong.
Fire (Api) | Blaze - manifested as a result of Boboiboy being overly stressed, achieved tier 2 in battle. Spontaneous, instinctual, and mischievous. Swings back and forth between being a kinda innocent kid and being the hot-head of the group, from what I remember his whole thing was just wanting to relieve some stress.
Water (Air) | Ice (Ais) - was forcibly manifested, manifests when Boboiboy is relaxed, achieved tier 2 in battle. Calm and relaxed. He’s honestly kinda a bit lazy?? But he gets more serious later on. Effectively the polar opposite of Fire (Api), which makes sense since they’re basically twins due to manifesting at around the same time.
Leaf (Daun) | Thorn (Duri) - manifested during battle in tier 2 first, but didn’t truly manifest on his own outside of that until Galaxy, where he manifested via Boboiboy falling into a tree and hitting his head. Naive and a jokester. Acts the most childlike out of all the elements, which is funny since he’s not the last one to manifest.
Light (Cahaya) | Solar - manifested during battle in tier 2 first, didn’t truly manifest on his own until the season finale of Galaxy, where he manifested in the middle of a battle (albeit it is said that this element is summoned via increasing one’s knowledge, which Boboiboy actively did before this battle). He achieved tier 2 again after getting knocked out into space and getting charged up by actual solar beams. Confident and focused. Very overconfident and kinda cocky- an “I can do this by myself!!” kinda guy who thinks he’s the smartest one in the room.
So, those are the elements. The way the elements interact with each other is RIDICULOUSLY funny, by the way, they basically treat each other like siblings, it’s great.
Anyways I... think that’s about as much of the plot that I can give without frying my own brain right now hnsdlfksjlfkjsdfs.
Oh wait!!! also there’s fusions!!!!!! Frostfire (Blaze and Ice), Glacier (Earthquake and Ice), Supra (Solar and Thunderstorm), Sori (Solar and Thorn), Sopan (Solar and Cyclone), and Gentar (Earthquake and Thunderstorm). Admittedly I don’t know enough about them to make statements on their personalities- for some of them it’s fusions of both of the element’s personalities, and for some of them it’s just the complete opposite of both element’s personalities.
There’s also a tier 3, which only Cyclone has managed to achieve (becoming Tempest), but that’s also a comic event, one that I haven’t reached yet, so I don’t really know what’s happening there either hsdklfjslkfjslk.
Anyways thats,, it. I think.
