Found something funny, they've both done this pose.

Even more funny, these two are voiced by the same voice actress. Anna Akana.

OK so to add to my Dead End characters embody the Mystery Gang characters post, I just saw and remembered something.
So in The 13 Ghosts Fred is the one who halts the gang to make them put their seat belts one before driving the mystery machine.
Tumblr media
Then he flat out stops them from running to going up an escalator so they'd remain safe.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then in What's New Scooby-Doo, he's looking out for Daphne when she goes out on a snow mobile to face the monster alone while he's bedridden from a broken leg.
Tumblr media
I'm just saying that this is kinda solidifying my stance in my previous post that Logs is like the Fred of the Dead End friend group.
They both care about their friends and they're protective in their own ways.

@blackkatdraws your toon x Mobster characters reminded me of some other gay dudes from the qsmp. Charlie (goopy guy) and Mariana
Jack and Charlie would get along well I think
Gavriel and Mariana however I do not think would get along. (also don’t let Mariana looking like an angel fool you. He has committed great crimes)

Redesigning Donald's two canonical children into the Ducktales 2017 reboot
Tumblr media
Joey's first and only appearence - Daddy Duck (1948)
I drew him based on Toth-Ra's temple kangaroo people, except they didn't have tails and big feet. whATEVER. Maybe that's why he was put up for adoption
Dewey would ADHD-bond with him after the initial shock
Tumblr media
Donald & Daisy's toddler - How To Have An Accident At Work (1959)
Auggie's bad luck would be like, complementary to Donald:
Instead of having an unintelligible voice, she'd have ridiculously bad auditory processing issues and just. mess up a lot and piss off anyone who talks to her 'cause she asks “What?” too much (I'M TOTALLY NOT PROJECTING INTO A TODDLER WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT)---and instead of getting hurt constantly like Donald does, she makes other people around her get hurt on accidents she causes....accidentally.
She just stresses everyone out, so everyone just avoids her for the most part - I'd say, for the family drama, that Joey would actively dislike her.
She'd be just like Donald! Always pushed aside and misunderstood! :))

As somebody who really enjoys cartoon saloon, I find myself looking for similar content all the time. I'm certain I'm not the only one who does this so I figured i would compile a list of content that scratches the same itch as cartoon saloon's itish folklore movies
So here we go!!!!
1. The Daughters of Ys
Tumblr media
Media type: graphic novel
About: The daughters of Ys is a graphic novel vatiation of a Brenton folktale. The art, story, and writing are gorgeous, and this is my top pick for similar content. I would sell my soul to get this animated.
Content warnings: nudity, implied sex, violence, murder
2. The Moorchild
Media type: novel
About: The Moorchild is a piece of children's fiction about a half-folk half-human, changeling girl. Despite being a children's book, it's one of my favorite pces of prouse. The story is engaging (even the second time around) and is better than most adult fiction I've read. Audiobook versions are available, too.
Content warnings: none
3. The Last Unicorn
Media type(s): Novel, graphic novel, animated movie
About: The Last Unicorn is a classic novel with an animated movie and comic adaptations. The 2d animated movie was released in 1982 by the Rankin/bass company. The film itself is whimsical. The animation is impeccable and is worth the watch for that alone. Also, they twinkified Prince Lir, hes so hot, oml.
There are several graphic novels from what I've seen. Each of them are just as good as the movie, but they tend to contain more of the world building.
The novel is worth the read even if you've seen the movie already. The lore and worldbuilding are so tasty, and there's so much cut out of the story cut out for the movie and graphic novel. Audiobook versions are available, too.
Content warnings: minor violence, nudity, and the movie has an overly sexualized tree you have been warned
I have more if you care to see them but right now i am tired as fuck, I'll make a part two later.

OK this might be a somewhat strange comparison but Krupp and Captain Underpants's transformation and dynamic is literally just Jackson Jekyll and Holt Hyde but in a different font.
Like that sounds strange but there's some similarities here:
They both suffer from having to endure a forced transformation into a different person.
Said person is the complete opposite of themselves.
(Krupp is grumpy and mean to kids/George and Harold while Captain Underpants is nice, cheerful, and treats them like friends/sidekicks)
(Jackson is studious, follows rules, and is dependable but Holt is rebellious, and unreliable)
When they're back, they don't remember anything that happened.
The only difference in this comparison is their age, the settings, and the circumstances as to why they have the ability to turn into their respective alter-egos.
And of course that Jackson and Holt are aware of each other, but Krupp and Captain Underpants are not.
Now I'm imagining an au where Krupp and Captain Underpants are aware of each other and they're struggling with trying not to turn into each other (when in teacher mode or superhero mode). Meanwhile they're trying their best to actually communicate with each other via leaving sticky notes and recording themselves to explain what happened when the other was gone.
