Tarot to find Lost Things

This is a basic dumb idea that I didn't see around a lot: Use the Tarot to find lost objects.

You know, when you are not sure if an object is even in your house, why don't use Tarot?

I personally use my own Oracle but the basic Major Arcana should work fine, still I find important that the cards have a good amount of images, since what you will use to find the object, is based in the images that you see, not in the meaning of the card itself. For this, very minimalist decks, or basic playing cards may not be useful enough.

So, let's say that you are an unmedicated AHDH as me, so you need to find things because your brain just can't cope with basic order. You sits and start to ask. Where is the Thing? Is in this house, outiside, in a specific room? Then the spread can help you.

Usually I find a basic 5 cards spread useful in this case, but is mostly because I use an Oracle. If your deck have tons of images, maybe 5 are too much... Too much info can lead to contradict itself or turn confusing, so start with a basic 3 cards and see if you have to add more. If your deck have little amount of images, it can need 5 cards or more.

Cards where the "ambient" is outisde, probably mean "not in your house/ in other house or lost in the street" (The Fool, The World, The Wheel of the Fortune).

Cards with columns and chairs can mention a "inside the house" (The High Priestess, The Justice, The Hieropanth).

Some cards can point where in reference to other objects. The Magician have stuffs over the table, it can point things over a table or furniture.

You have pets? Maybe is close your pet, and for that, cards with animals can give a hint (The Strenght, The Chariot).

The cards with suns can hint that is "at sight" (The Sun).

Cards with moons and stars can point the Bedroom (The Moon, The Star).

Card with little light? Inside a closet! It have water? Maybe in the bathroom! Have plants? The garden! Chairs? Check close a chair or the kitchen! Fruits? Maybe close the fridge! Have clothes? Maybe on your bed!

What's matter, is that you focus in the objects that you see, and specially based on YOUR DECK. Since not all the decks are the same, it can have a lot of variations that you need to consider. Example, The Hermit have a light in his hand, which can point to be close a lamp, but if your card is an Hermit Crab, of course it will not mean the same. Be smart, be creative.

- Right off the bat, I feel like you have been waiting for a long time to meet “the one”, or at least that is how you feel like, you may talk yourself out of believing you will meet them. You may feel hopeless at this point to find real love. What you may actually want is more of a platonic/soul level typa connection, but at the same time you want the completely opposite: freedom and relations in which you wouldn’t have to put much of your energy and effort into. The main problem I see here is that you may not exactly know what you actually seek in a serious relationship and have some sort of commitment issues you may even not realize you did.

- You may be too focused on your job/studies/career, too focused on making money and the logical side of life, instead of your feelings. You need to realize that everything in life is about balance, that may be your mission before meeting “the one”, you may need to undergo a personal transformation in order to find balance. All cards here talk about balance, this may be key for you. You may need to understand that you would have to put as much time into this relationship as you do with your work for it to flourish and be full of happiness.

- People who have chosen this pile, there are three options: you may have been cheated on in the past, someone may have cheated on their S.O. with you or you have been used for your body. Whatever it was you may have some trust issues because of it, also a hard time believing someone can actually love you for you. ( an example popped in my head for no reason: beautiful women and rich men have it the hardest when it comes to trusting they are loved, for the same reason. Usually people don’t love them for them but use them for what they got. This may mean sth to someone..). You may definitely have some past trauma when it comes to relationships or haven’t gotten over a heartbreak. You may have felt like an option but never ‘the chosen one’. You need to regain your trust in people and rewire your brain into thinking you deserve the be someone’s only option.

10-Card Clow Spread

Not only are the Clow Cards used for summoning magic, they are also used for telling fortunes! In Volume 3 of the Cardcaptor Sakura manga, Kero shows Sakura how to do some simple fortune telling using only 10 cards. This specific spread is designed to allow you to become aware of the forces that will be opposing you in the near future. This reading was critical for Sakura because it enabled her to identify and capture the Mirror card.

Note: When Sakura read her cards, she only had the Watery, Windy, Wood, Jump, Fly, Flower, Shadow, Sword, Illusion, and Thunder in her possession but certainly use all 52 Clow Cards or a different deck entirely if you'd like!

Directions: 1.) Shuffle the cards well. 2.) Cut the deck into four piles using your left hand. 3.) Return all of the cards to one pile still using your left hand. 4.) Lay the cards out in number order by following the diagram. 5.) Flip the cards over in letter order.

The government is fucked up, like literally almost everywhere nothing seems to be going right and its overall a huge looming concept that we either try to ignore when we can, or relish in the small victories we choose to pay attention to. Political awareness is something that should be unmoving in our lives but honestly its such a hell scape I know many people who try to duck and hide. But hiding and ignoring won’t further us. We need to be aware of the hate and the injustices so we can teach the next generation of what not to do even if history has a tendency to repeat itself. More to juggle.
