A Longer View through Chaos?
Full Moon Dec 15 2024 0301 CST
Because December's Full Moon occurs late in the sign Gemini, those most affected for this celestial cycle will have strong aspects in about 18 through 28 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Sagittarius and of course Gemini itself. This is not to say that others will not be affected, so don't stop reading because you're in a different sign! America as a country is Gemini so it will be interesting to see how our society is affected through this time.
Full Moon in 23 degrees of Gemini
As we enter this part of the Moon cycle, Gemini flavors our emotions and our subconscious with a variety of feelings all going on at once. You may feel like you are in a pinball machine, bouncing off of a bumper of anger, hitting a spinner of happiness and suddenly being redirected at high speed by a flipper of excitement. Your dreams may be fragmented or quickly skip along through several topics with your subconscious trying to give you six different messages all at once. Full Moon is always in opposition to the Sun, this time in Sagittarius, so the challenge for this two weeks is to maintain focus on your goals and serve your truth without getting lost in the Geminian emotional dance. One can also use Gemini logic to find connections between these varying states and Gemini communication to find help from others amidst the changes.
Mars Retrograde 5 Degrees of Leo Opposition Pluto 0 degrees Aquarius
No need to panic over Mars retrograde. We may have a little less drive, less ambition, a lack of selish desire to get what we want, or more confusion about where we are headed or what action to take. Less tendency toward impulsive, unplanned action is usually good. The thing is Mars is moving back toward a closer opposition with Pluto, who is demanding transformation and change toward more humanitarian and future-oriented attitudes as the planet moves slowly into Aquarius. The challenge here is to have faith that long-term change will make things better and to keep working toward it, even if it is in a quieter and less obvious, less violent way.
Grand Trine – Mars 5 degrees Leo, Mercury 6 degrees Sagittarius, North Moon Node 2 degrees Aries.
Along with this challenge, however, this easy trine aspect (the blue triangle you can see if you start at Mars) contributes some goal-oriented thoughts and some social justice logic from Mercury in Sagittarius and from the North Moon Node in Aries some feelings that these impulses toward change and growth are inspired by fate, destiny or karma. Actions taken by Mars in Leo are more likely to be less Leonine self-expression and more actually aligned with solid philosophy and morality and with the long view of the universal consciousness.
Finally..…
To sum this all up, be aware that events within and around you are going to be moving and changing quickly, especially emotions and subconscious messages and actions. Because Mars is retrograde, some of these impulses may not be appropriate, so try to pause amidst the chaos and take a longer view. Try to remember that we are but ripples in a pond – that actions we take will ripple outward to have effects even on the shoreline of our lives. Try to make sure that your impulses can and should lead to actions based on morality and aligned with what the universe has in store for all of us.
And, as always, may the stars guide you and may you be blessed.

Excerpt from My Psychic Friend
Q:Does being a psychic mean that you are better at handling situations?
Oh lord, I wish. No sadly it does not. Look, psychics are people just like everyone else. We are not magical creatures that live outside the laws of the universe. I believe that I have benefited from the experience of working with others and seeing the struggles that they go through. So I have benefited from the experiences of others and know now how to better handle some situations. It isn’t like I have a problem and I plug my brain into the matrix and tada I have a solution.
God, The Universe, whatever you believe in, truly does work in mysterious ways. Over and over again I encounter circumstances which I seem to be presently dealing with in my own life through the perspective of clients. Some days by the fourth or fifth call I answer the phone and say, “wait, don’t tell me, your problem is XYZ.” Clients are like oh my god how did you know? Because every single person has had the same issue today and I am experiencing it too. I’m not sure if this is because of some craziness happening in astrology or because God is pointing at me saying TAKE YOUR OWN ADVICE YOU FOOL!
Never the less I do find myself cringing when I tell a client that this is the way to handle this situation and I have failed to do just that in my own situation. I then have to log out, take a deep breath and go apologize to someone for not handling it the right way. So I always tell clients its really more “Do as I say, not as I do.” Which is a joke of course, but never the less I try to grow as a person every day in every interaction that I have with others and better myself while helping others. In the course of helping others I see the error in my own ways and try to make changes to those errors moving forward.
Being psychic doesn’t make me any better than anyone else. Just like being more learned doesn’t make teachers better than others. While I may have practiced and studied this ability, I believe that anyone with sufficient desire and dedication could join me or even surpass me in my level of knowledge and understanding. I encourage everyone who is interested to join me in this endeavor. We can only benefit in learning from each other.
Th is only one of many questions that I answer about being a professional psychic in the modern world. In the book I also tackle some tough issues like how to know when a "psychic" is taking advantage of you and how to get the most out of a reading with a real psychic!

Palmistry Techniques
“Chiromancy consists of the practice of evaluating a person’s character or future life by “reading” the palm of that person’s hand. Various “lines” (“heart line”, “life line”, etc.) and “mounts” (or bumps) (chirognomy) purportedly suggest interpretations by their relative sizes, qualities, and intersections. In some traditions, readers also examine characteristics of the fingers, fingernails, fingerprints, and palmar skin patterns (dermatoglyphics), skin texture and color, shape of the palm, and flexibility of the hand.
A reader usually begins by reading the person’s dominant hand (the hand he or she writes with or uses the most, which is sometimes considered to represent the conscious mind, whereas the other hand is subconscious). In some traditions of palmistry, the other hand is believed to carry hereditary or family traits, or, depending on the palmist’s cosmological beliefs, to convey information about “past-life” or “karmic” conditions.
The basic framework for “classical” palmistry (the most widely taught and practiced tradition) is rooted in Greek mythology. Each area of the palm and fingers is related to a god or goddess, and the features of that area indicate the nature of the corresponding aspect of the subject. For example, the ring finger is associated with the Greek god Apollo; characteristics of the ring finger are tied to the subject’s dealings with art, music, aesthetics, fame, wealth, and harmony”-wikipedia
Hand shape
“Depending on the type of palmistry practiced, and the type of reading being performed, palmists may look at various qualities of the hand, including the shapes and lines of the palm and fingers; the color and texture of the skin and fingernails; the relative sizes of the palm and fingers; the prominence of the knuckles; and numerous other attributes of the hands.
In most schools of palmistry, hand shapes are divided into four or eleven major types, sometimes corresponding to the classical elements or temperaments. Hand shape is believed to indicate character traits corresponding to the type indicated (i.e., a “Fire hand” would exhibit high energy, creativity, short temper, ambition, etc. — all qualities believed to be related to the classical element of Fire).
Although variations abound, the most common classifications used by modern palmists:
Earth hands are generally identified by broad, square palms and fingers, thick or coarse skin, and ruddy color. The length of the palm from wrist to the bottom of the fingers is usually equal to the length of the fingers.
Air hands exhibit square or rectangular palms with long fingers and sometimes protruding knuckles, low-set thumbs, and often dry skin. The length of the palm from wrist to the bottom of the fingers is usually equal to the length of the fingers.
Water hands are seeable by the long, sometimes oval-shaped palm, with long, flexible, conical fingers. The length of the palm from wrist to the bottom of the fingers is usually less than the width across the widest part of the palm, and usually equal to the length of the fingers.
Fire hands are characterized by a square or rectangular palm, flushed or pink skin, and shorter fingers. The length of the palm from wrist to the bottom of the fingers is usually greater than the length of the fingers.
The number and quality of lines can also be included in the hand shape analysis; in some traditions of palmistry, Earth and Water hands tend to have fewer, deeper lines, while Air and Fire hands are more likely to show more lines with less clear definition”-Wikipedia
