There's an old car that came crashing down near the river years and years ago, and has become nothing more than an odd shaped sculpture in the middle of the woods. It has a power that defies being taken home and loved, too long in the woods that it has forgotten it was once a car. 🌲 🌲 🚗 🌲 Yesterday I didn't do my daily tarot pull or my prayers to My Lady. Dustin Shuler - Pop Art Sculpture Dustin Shuler (1948 – 2010) was an American pop art sculptor and mixed-media artist, best known for a 1989 piece called Spindle, a 50-foot steel spike with eight cars impaled on it that became emblematic of the city of Berwyn, Illinois, where it was installed for two decades in the parking lot of a popular shopping mall. Storytelling- The Car Sculpture

It was autumn and the brown leaves were covering the floor. There was this guy smoking outside a gallery, dressed in black. Pale face and untagged. He put down the cigarrette and step his left feet on it. Then, he headed inside the gallery with a dissapointment expression. He was standing in front of a Sculpture built by car pieces. It was clearly a car but it wasn't built up properly. It wasn't more than a messy scumbag of more junk. His name was Scott, the random guy. He was at that period of his life when he was wondering how many years he will be jumping from one place to another looking for "something". He clearly built up lots of skills along his life (or at least that is what he is being told everyday by his inner winner voice). But he was there standing and staring at this hill of junk, trying to figure out how to put all that shit together to make it work. To make it run. His life he meant. For fuck sake. It is time to make this happen, he thought.

Next day, he woke up earlier than usual. He added sugar in his coffee like never before and he went to work. It was a bar job. He was not a bartender, if you know what I mean. Everyday the same but slightly different. He was pouring a double whiskey when he thought for himself: ”It has been long. I need a change.” Then he pictured the smashed car in his mind and had this feeling: “It is time to move on. I think I can put that shit together and make it work. I think I can drive it.” It was not long after he gave his notice and left the bar a week after. It was then when he came back to the gallery to look at that piece of art. The piece of junk. With anger feelings he blamed the bloody car sculpture. And he cried. So hard and so long, his eyes became red and his tears racing down his cheeks, hit his soul like a punch of thorns. It was almost like feeling a whole transformation of creative destruction inside his chest. His old self was burning in tears and his new self was coming from ashes. There was still a desperate craving for love and progression... but it was time to explore and look for another path. To be continued..]
