Some more quick little sketches of mah boiiiiiii

Carryck is forever going to be one of my favourite OC's. I feel personally connected to him and he's such a joy to draw!

Also, I had this cool idea that whenever he uses his paladin abilities, a smaller version of his holy symbol lights up in his eyes.

Here we have a coloured portrait of my precious boy. This took me at least 5 hours (mostly trying to get those darn shoulder guards somewhat good and also his skin tone) and in the end I was satisfied with the result. I learned a lot from this little sketch, and also felt a greater affection for the dork.

Now for some sadness~ Carryck has an Armour Count (AC) of 22, so he has yet to be damaged.  Hence, I had this idea of ‘What if his AC was beaten?’ and this is what happened. No- He isn’t stabbing himself, he’s trying to pull it out of himself, I promise (I just wasn’t sure how to better represent that)

Here we have the banner for my blog, my first DnD character, Carryck. A Firbolg Paladin who’s height of 7″8 may or may not leave people feeling wary.  In all honesty though, he’s a huge sweetheart who just wants to help those in need. 

He has an Armour Class (AC) of 22 thanks to his full-plated armour and magic shield. He has yet to be hit by an enemy, and cherishes generosity and compassion above most things. You’ll see a lot more of Carryck in the coming lifetime, he’s quickly become part of my top 5 favourite OC list.

And here we have Carryck’s first official armour design. His weapon of choice first being his charisma, his second the magic shield, and the third his spiked flail.

Violence is never his first choice, but unlike some characters he’s already met, he understands that sometimes it is necessary in order to survive.  After all, he cannot uphold his oath of protecting, embodying and preserving the light in the world if he is deceased. Carryck also does not follow any specific deity (large or small), he instead follows his own symbol of righteousness.
