FAILED PALADIN Her name's Enduring. I originally made her into a tiefling but I've considered making her a Trogg for an ICON game.

did you see the post about fullplate armour as like borderline chastity so you can grind on their steel codpiece and they can't feel jack shit
*grinning evilly* no :)
knight who rescues you from a situation and then pins you down and shoves its tongue into your mouth while frantically humping you because it’s so pent up but it can’t get off bc full plate and you can’t even be mad because it has no idea what it’s doing

Laios Statblock in PF1e

SPECIAL ABILITIES
Hair’s Breadth (Ex): At 11th level, a lore warden can attempt an Acrobatics check as an immediate action to negate a confirmation role for a critical hit. The critical hit confirmation is negated (though the attack still hits and deals normal damage) if the Acrobatics check is greater than the opponent’s confirmation roll. This ability replaces armor training 3.
Know Thy Enemy (Ex): At 7th level, a lore warden can take a standard action to study a specific target in sight. He must make a Knowledge check to determine the target’s abilities and weaknesses as part of this standard action. If successful, the lore warden not only notes the appropriate abilities and weaknesses, as detailed under the Knowledge skill on page 100 of the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook, but also gains a +2 competence bonus on all attack rolls and weapon damage rolls made against that enemy. Note that this bonus on attack and damage rolls applies only to that specific creature. This bonus lasts for the duration of an encounter, or until the lore warden attempts a new Knowledge check to use this ability on a different target. This ability replaces armor training 2.
Here's a Laios Statblock, capped at level 14 since that's when an Arcanist can learn stone-to-flesh. It uses the ABP rules, bumped up to its equivalent for level 16 in order to account for the little-to-no-magic-items-itis that Dunmeshi has, as the alternate rule suggests.
Safe to say, he very much is pulling off Know Thy Enemy consistently, and if you want to increase his danger-level a bit, give him an extra level to make it a swift action.
I also screwed up in his armor in my initial post. It's some kind of plate armor, can't tell if it's halfplate or fullplate. So, we have to burn a feat. And yes, that's a good 6 feats dedicated solely to Skill Focuses. I haven't gotten around to statting Kensuke as a "magic" item yet, but he'd pretty much only be useful for an extra Perception roll.
(If I do more of them, I'll probably keep it so it's inline with the Dunmeshi universe. and call humanoids humans and humans tallmen.)

Hi random ask out of the blue. I'm running a ttrpg campaign that has every party member but the rogue deciding to wear battle lingerie. All the players are incredibly serious about their roles and I don't think I've ever had to dm over such strong characters (players are still very funny and friendly). Maybe it's because I haven't explored many stories involving girls in bikini armor/robes but I can't help not taking them seriously ;n;. I ask you because you seem very chill and casual about liking skin revealing characters but how would you overcome this perception of mine? I want to get into character just like they are 😤
I don't know the context of your story or your way of doing world building within your campaign but I almost feel like you already have the solution to your own question. You said the players all have very strong characters and are all very serious in their roleplaying. Idk if your familiar with fromsoft soulsborne games but there are times when other players decide to invade your game and one of the biggest indications at least for me to when I know I'm absolutely fucked is when the player invading me is naked or has an usual armor piece. There is nothing more intimidating than knowing this player doesn't need armor to kill me because I'm going to get skilled checked. Your half naked players may be silly from your prospective as dm but to the fictional creatures they are fighting, I imagine that squad must be terrifying once the heads start rolling.
It's fine to think battle lingerie is silly and idk you have it effect stats at all or is just for aesthetics. Your players or their characters could simply be perverts for all I know but maybe there is a social understanding in your world that if one don's the battle lingerie, it signifies the utmost confidence in strength and skill. You don't want to mess with that person. There is a really popular artwork on here with a naked warrior woman with just a knife saying "come at me bro" to a guy in fullplate.
You can also just have fun with it because as long as your players are having fun and they're invested with your storytelling. What they decide to wear shouldn't matter.
My real advice would be to convince your rogue to join the team aesthetic cohesion. It's always the rogue smh.

Sweet merciful Jesus, stop talking. Unless you are one of a tiny handful of businesses who know exactly what they're going to use AI for, you do not need AI for anything - or rather, you do not need to do anything to reap the benefits. Artificial intelligence, as it exists and is useful now, is probably already baked into your businesses software supply chain. Your managed security provider is probably using some algorithms baked up in a lab software to detect anomalous traffic, and here's a secret, they didn't do much AI work either, they bought software from the tiny sector of the market that actually does need to do employ data scientists. I know you want to be the next Steve Jobs, and this requires you to get on stages and talk about your innovative prowess, but none of this will allow you to pull off a turtle neck, and even if it did, you would need to replace your sweaters with fullplate to survive my onslaught.
I Will Fucking Piledrive You If You Mention AI Again

i realized todat i have a very odd worry about DD after DD2 came out and we got Rey back and his story is just... i'm not sure how to describe it politely. let's use "not what is implied in DD1"
and... that's it. that's the worry
a lot of people come to DD fandom from DD2 now. and they're thrilled and excited. and they will know those characters only as they are shown in DD2. and they'll create things with them based on that display
this might be a 'me' fear since i am a writer who prides myself on research and trying my damnest to keep charcters close to canon or at the very least not contadicting canon. i look up how belts work. how you would care for and fire a flintlock. how to put on a fullplate. how to ride horses. what is the tensile strength of human arm being attached to human torso and how much raw strength some eldritch fuckupery would need to separate one from the other. you get the picture
but i describe characters as they were in DD1. and i pride myself on pouring dozens upon dozens of hours into research and characterization and whatnot, on having compilation tables and huge ass files of notes and research and pinned facts. but if someone comes from DD2 to see my work... for them, I'll be wrong. just plain wrong. whatever i have would be just odd headcanons and 'portraying characters wrong'. 'not getting it'. 'making them far worse people than they are'. maybe even 'victim blaming', who knows
this makes me anxious and i dunno what to do about it. is there even something i can do about it? i dunno...

What about Mino and Lann? 👀
Lann... I very much get the impression that he wants someone he can protect because he wants to feel like a big strong leader and man, thanks to his upbringing as "you are future chief you are future chief you can't fuck this up or everyone dies". He needs that feeling of being a protector and provider or he feels like a failure as a person due to his conditioning.
Mino, being decked out in fullplate and being a shield specialist fighter who has built her entire life around protecting others so that she takes their pain and suffering instead of them, would just not accept this paradigm.
Lann is nice, but he's not going to find what he's looking for in her and she's not going to find understanding of her needs and beliefs from him either.
ALSO I don't think Lann would be into choking or biting her in bed and that's an immediate no-go for her lmao.

Pathfinder 2nd edition is tightly balanced, carefully crafted, and fascinating to examine and I look forward to examining the remaster when those books come out. I also think I’ve come to the conclusion I just kind of do not like it and sort of despise talking to its fans. I’m not some design genius, I’m not going to claim I’m better at making a system than Paizo, I just don’t like it. It’s balanced so tightly very few abilities feel truly interesting, and outlier options feel even more glaring. The fans with one hand tell me “every +1 is important, and will make or break a fight!” and with the other hand say that “things are perfectly viable when they’re -2 behind everyone else!” Magic being nerfed is good, sure, but it’s been nerfed so much and left with such a boring, unengaging result I question why they kept vancian casting rather than starting completely from scratch with something that hinged more on the focus pool system. As-is, casters largely do not get interesting action economy choices (and in general have terrible action economy), have worse accuracy with their main focus, less reliable debuffs, have dogshit defenses and skills, all while needing to worry about daily resources that martials don’t have to give a flying fuck about as the martials happily roll medicine to full heal for no cost. I love digging through entire spell lists only to realize the only things actually worth taking are things that buff martials, or one of the two-three spells with any effect worth a daily resource when an enemy lands that 70% chance to make their save. Even martial classes feel void of exciting features because nothing can be allowed to accidentally reach the potential of “Fighter in fullplate, wielding a guisarme” or “Fighter with a longbow”, so any remotely cool ability must be twice as hard to use at it should be and have inane unenjoyable drawbacks compared to unga bunga hit with huge accuracy for free. It’s even more frustrating with how something like Champion (its genericized Paladin, which I do appreciate) gets to be unique until level 6, when Fighter can have stolen its biggest two features and just be a flat better class. Fantastic. And that’s not even getting into how irritating I find the total aversion to skill substitution, ability score substitutions, or dozens of other smaller gripes.

And here we have Carryck’s first official armour design. His weapon of choice first being his charisma, his second the magic shield, and the third his spiked flail.
Violence is never his first choice, but unlike some characters he’s already met, he understands that sometimes it is necessary in order to survive. After all, he cannot uphold his oath of protecting, embodying and preserving the light in the world if he is deceased. Carryck also does not follow any specific deity (large or small), he instead follows his own symbol of righteousness.
If you have any questions about my bulky boy, please be sure to ask! He will gladly answer them.
*Original art by me, please do not repost or claim this art and/or character as your own*
