i could not make this up. was sitting on my back deck having a cry after therapy and one of the tenants in the big building next door stuck her head out the window and yelled down to me "hey! i'm moving out tonight, do you want a free carpet cleaner?" and it was a bissell little green. only clean freaks will understand why i started crying harder

An insight into were my mind goes sometimes while I try to literally get shit done: So I read a fanfic yesterday (not tmnt) and a song is referred to in this fic so I look up the song which leads to my brain composing a tmnt ficlet? drabble? That I might or might not write but I kinda like it so maybe, while listening to this song and I'm like. feelings. So I check out the songs of the album and mh now I have two new albums in my collection its getting late and the words are still crawling over the wrinkles of my brain while I lie down and think maybe, just maybe I should write shit down but I am sleepy and then I wake up today; the words are still present and I try to go about my day, get some housework done while listening to both the album while daydreaming about plotpoints for something else entirely and yet the underlying buzz is still that ficlet from yesterday. Three different things to juggle in my head while physically going through the motions it is one of those multitask days apparently. And then I pause because I kinda... I kinda like the idea of Leo and chess and stuff okay. And my head is like "can you put a chess metaphor line in that ficlet we are not writing?" And now my head laser focuses on this throwaway line and I'm... starting to look up shit and now I am trying to pro and contra whether you can apply the phrase "kings gambit" or "queens gambit" to the rottmnt movie anyhow. I am still very much on board with the drive to clean and I would like to get back to it hence why I write this post so I can get back to it and leave this thoughts to simmer here on my blog while I do that.

I wasn’t joking when I said it would probably take me two or three years to knit enough squares for a blanket; this has been my coffee break project for the past two years, and now all I have to do is crochet around each square and then sew everything together ... which will probably take another two years.

saw some horrors this weekend that changed me fundamentally i think

AND- the horrors aside- my mom accidentally left the gate open and my black lab puppy took off for nearly two hours this afternoon. we drive all around town looking for him and couldn’t find him fucking anywhere. eventually we got a call and got him. we almost drove right by him cause he stood so stock still when he saw our car that i thought he was one of those tacky lawn ornaments ppl put out of animal silhouettes lmao
